    This study is to determine the efforts to improve the understanding of Intellectual Property Law of students and lecturersin Higher Education. The method used is descriptive qualitative, namely identifying the understanding of IntellectualProperty Law of the academic community in Higher Education, which is then analyzed qualitatively. The results of thestudy show that providing students with understanding of Intellectual Property Law in Higher Education can be donethrough a structured teaching and learning process by developing a curriculum according to the substance based on thetype of Intellectual Property, by paying attention to the learning formats, namely attitudes, knowledge and skills, and byevaluating the three aspects. The effort that can be done by faculties that do not have the curriculum is embedding theIntellectual Property Law as a compulsory or elective course. To increase the understanding of Intellectual Property Lawamong lecturers can be done through their active role in scientific activities.Kajian ini untuk menentukan upaya meningkatkan pemahaman Hukum Kekayaan Intelektual terhadap mahasiswa dan dosen di Perguruan Tinggi. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yaitu mengidentifikasikan pemahaman Hukum Kekayaan Intelektual bagi civitas akademika di Perguruan Tinggi kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil kajian menunjukan bahwa pemberian pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap  Hukum Kekayaan Intelektual  di Perguruan Tinggi dapat dilakukan melalui proses belajar mengajar yang terstruktur dengan  menyusun silabus  dan Satuan Acara Perkuliahan sesuai substansinya berdasarkan jenis Kekayaan Intelektual dan memperhatikan  format pembelajaran yaitu sikap, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan serta melakukan evaluasi  terhadap  ketiga  aspek tersebut. Upaya tersebut, bagi fakultas yang  tidak ada dalam kurikulumnya dapat dilakukan melalui revisi kurikulum  dengan cara memasukan sebagai mata kuliah wajib atau pilihan, sedangkan  peningkatan pemahaman Hukum Kekayaan Intelektual bagi dosen  dapat dilakukan  melalui peran aktifnya dalam kegiatan ilmiah.&nbsp

    Technology and products are developed based on innovation, through sequential stages from basic research tocommercialization. The concept of Technology Readiness Level (TRL) defines technology development into nine stages,from idea generation (TRL 1) to the development of technology and products for commercialization (TRL 9). Leaping fromone implementation stage to another in technology development may result in technological valley of death. The processindustry is a group of industries that involve chemical processes in converting raw materials into products via series ofunit processes. Technology development for the process industry can also be defined in stages of technology readinesslevels, by using adapted specific targets for each stage. This paper presents a concept for assessing the development oftechnology for the process industry.     CULINARY MSME CONSUMERS’ ATTITUDE TOWARD HALAL LABEL: ITS EFFECT ON PURCHASING DECISION

    This research is a study on halal consumer behavior, which consists of empirical results from various Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME)s in Bandung, Indonesia. Data were collected from 161 muslim tourists who have experiences visiting Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, and consuming culinary products produced by MSMEs in the city. Simple linear regression method was applied to evaluate the relation between consumers’ attitude and purchase decisions. This research aims to provide deeper understanding on the effect of tourists’ attitude towards the halal label and purchase decision, seen from the perspective of muslim consumers who have experiences in consuming the food products by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME)s in Bandung, Indonesia. This study reveals that attitude towards halal label is an important factor affecting consumers’ halal food purchase decision

    INVESTIGATING LEXICAL BUNDLES IN THE CORPORA OF ENGLISH AND INDONESIAN RESEARCH ARTICLES WITH THE SKETCH ENGINE

    The low publication rate of Indonesian researchers in reputable international journals, particularly in arts and humanities,is caused, among others, by difficulties they faced in producing precise expository texts in English, which are differentfrom texts in Indonesian. The present study examines lexical bundles in the corpora of English and Indonesian researcharticles (RA) on literature and linguistics to describe the similarities and differences of conventionalized phraseology inthe scientific genre of English and Indonesian by using corpus software, namely Sketch Engine. The study focuses onthe frequency, structural and functional characteristics of lexical bundles using a mixed-method research design. TheEnglish corpus comprises 1,351,048 words derived from 124 RA, while the Indonesian corpus consists of 637,910 wordscollected from 124 RA. We found that three-word lexical bundles are more prevalent than four-word lexical bundles inboth corpora. Based on the structural forms, prepositional-based bundles are the most frequent form in English RA, whilenoun-based bundles are the most common form in Indonesian RA. There were no participant-oriented bundles foundin the Indonesian RA corpus in terms of functional classification, whereas the English RA corpus involved more variedfunctional categories of lexical bundles. The findings provide an understanding of phraseological combinations in Englishand Indonesian scientific writing, characterizing disciplinary discourse as well as native and non-native English speakers’rhetorical style, and have pedagogical implications for EAP practitioners

    COLLABORATION OF THREE STAKEHOLDERS ‘TRISULA’ IN REALIZING THE COMPLETE VILLAGE MAP

    The Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) is targeting the realization of thevalid complete village map. This strategic program is carried out by mapping all land parcels including physical and juridical data so that an accurate land database can be created. This study aimed to analyze collaborations of three stakeholders: Land Office, City/Regency Government, and Village Government in realizing the complete village map. This study was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive method. Data collection was conducted in three ways: interview, secondary data, and observation field. Data analysis was carried out spatially on the main data and supporting data for the complete village map. The results of the study show that collaboration and data sharing (land registration maps, land value zone map, PBB block map, Regional Spatial Planning (Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah - RTRW) map, and detailed Village Letter C map) between the three stakeholders are important variables for building the complete village. This study proves that the collaboration of the three stakeholders is able to accelerate the realization of a complete village database with results that match the requirements and criteria set by the Ministry of ATR/BPN. In addition, the data integration that was carried out can be used to create a one data village, which is expected to be able to provide input for the government in formulating policies.Program strategis Kementerian Agraria dan Tata Ruang/Badan Pertanahan Nasional (ATR/BPN) menargetkan terwujudnya desa lengkap yang valid serta semua bidang tanah terpetakan. Upaya ini dilakukan dengan memetakan seluruh bidang tanah meliputi data fisik maupun yuridis sehingga terwujud basis data pertanahan yang akurat. Kajian ini bertujuan melakukan analisis kolaborasi pemetaan desa lengkap dengan melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat beserta tiga unsur pemangku kepentingan, yakni: Kantor Pertanahan, Pemerintah Kabupaten dan Pemerintah Desa. Metode penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif deskriptif, perolehan data dilakukan melalui survei lapang, pengumpulan data sekunder serta desk study terhadap kajian literatur maupun peraturan perundang-undangan. Analisis data dilakukan secara spasial terhadap data utama dan data pendukung pemetaan desa lengkap. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi dan sharing data antar tiga pemangku kepentingan berupa: peta pendaftaran tanah, peta zona nilai tanah, peta Blok PBB, peta Rencana Tata Ruang Wilayah (RTRW), dan peta Rincik Letter C Desa menjadi variabel penting untuk membangun desa lengkap. Pada penelitian ini kolaborasi tiga pemangku kepentingan mampu mempercepat terwujudnya basis data desa lengkap dengan hasil  sesuai persyaratan maupun kriteria yang ditetapkan Pusat Data dan Informasi Kementerian ATR/BPN. Disamping itu, integrasi data yang dilakukan dapat digunakan untuk mewujudkan desa satu data, yang diharapkan mampu memberikan masukan bagi pemerintah dalam merumuskan kebijakan

    Nowadays, social media is used to build not only friendship networking but also business. Various companiesand media institutions use social media to disseminate information. One of the most popular social media widelyused by business companies and media institutions is Instagram, including Netflix Indonesia, which has created amass media-based Instagram “Zinetflix”. Zines is considered an alternative media that provides a lot of informationoutside the mainstream mass media channels. The characteristics of zines are community-based, anti-mainstream,and offering a more experimental format than conventional media. Zinetflix is a media innovation in the cyber mediabecause it utilizes various features and technology to become a channel of information. This study uses a qualitativeresearch method with a case study approach. The case study selected is “Zinetflix” which was designed by moviecontent provider Netflix. The data collection was conducted through observations, interviews, and literature studies.The results discussed in this research is how the use of Instagram social media features become an informationmedia space in the cyber media era as Zinetflix does in the celebration of the National Film Day every year.Perubahan teknologi digital membuat setiap media mesti berkonvergensi mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Zines adalah sebuah media cetak alternatif yang tumbuh dan berkembang dalam ranah subkultur atau komunitas. Zines dianggap sebagai sebuah media alternatif yang banyak memberikan informasi di luar jalur media massa mainstream. Karakteristik zines yaitu sabagai sebuah media berbasis komunitas, anti-mainstream, dan menawarkan format yang eksperimen dibandingkan dengan media konvensional. Zinetflix merupakan sebuah platform media zines digital yang dibuat oleh Netflix melalui pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram. Dalam hal ini, Zinetflix merupakan upaya komunikasi Netflix untuk bisa membangun interaksi dengan pelaku industri film di Indonesia dalam menyajikan informasi seputar film Indonesia terutama di era digital sekarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Studi kasus yang akan diangkat yaitu “Zinetflix” yang dirancang oleh penyedia konten film Netflix. Proses pengambilan data yaitu melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Hasil yang ingin dibahas dari penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana transformasi media siber Zinetflix yang memanfaatkan zines yang inovatif di media sosial dalam menyebarkan informasi tentang film di Hari Film Nasional 2020.   Kata kunci: Netflix, Zines, Zines Digital, Media Siber    &nbsp

    The rapid development of new media has been the main force accelerating the trend of globalization in human societyin recent decades. New media has brought human interaction and society to a highly interconnected and complex level,but at the same time challenged the very existence of intercultural communication in its traditional sense. It is under thiscircumstance that we see more and more scholars becoming involved in the investigation of the relationship between new media and intercultural communication. Emerging topical areas in this line of research mainly include three categories: (1) the impact of national/ethnic culture on the development of new media, (2) the impact of new media on cultural/social identity, and (3) the impact of new media (especially social media) on different aspects of intercultural communication (e.g., intercultural relationships, intercultural adaptation, and intercultural conflict).     PROSES DESAIN PRODUK SNEAKERS KOLABORATIF DALAM NEGERI: STUDI KASUS KOLABORASI MEREK A DENGAN GRUP MUSIK SK

    This research is a case study that discusses collaborative products between brand A and the SK music group. Thisresearch uses qualitative method where data collection was carried out by interviewing the manufacturers of sneakersA to find out the relationship between the products and the design process carried out on the collaboration. The resultsobtained are in the form of a design process from a manufacturer of sneakers A and the role of collaborators in eachstage of the design process. The analysis is in the form of a comparison between the data obtained from the interviews and from the literature used. From the research results, it was found that there were differences in the types of sneakers in the collaborative product series, and some of the designs did not match the image of the collaborators who were personnel of the rock music group SK. This research is expected to be a recommendation for producers and designers in designing collaborative products. In the academic field, it is also expected to open new research related to collaborative sneakers and other collaborative products

    KLASIFIKASI PENGGUNA LIMA DOMPET DIGITAL TERPOPULER DI INDONESIA DENGAN METODE MCA

    E-wallets have been widely adopted in Indonesian society, providing opportunities for fintech companies to competeon delivering the best service. There has been considerable research conducted on the use of e-wallet services acrossthe globe, however not so many research have provided a comprehensive analysis of the profiles and characteristicsof e-wallet users in Indonesia. This study aims to fill that gap by investigating the profile and characteristics ofusers of the top five e-wallet services in Indonesia based on their popularity, i.e., GoPay, OVO, Dana, LinkAja andShopeePay. This study also aims to understand the differences in user demographic information of each e-wallet.Using the Multiple Corresponding Analysis (MCA) method on the survey data from 409 users of e-wallet services inIndonesia, this study identifies several different profiles of users, i.e., three clusters based on e-wallet ownership andseven clusters based on the most frequently used e-wallet services. The results of this study can help to provide a betterunderstanding of the profiles and characteristics of the e-wallet users in Indonesia, which can be used as inputs to serviceproviders to improve the quality of service they provide to their customers and to reach an even broader audience.Dompet digital banyak diadopsi oleh masyarakat di Indonesia to menyediakan peluang bagi industri fintech untuk berlomba memberikan layanan yang terbaik untuk penggunanya. Meskipun layanan dompet digital cukup banyak diteliti, namun belum banyak yang memberikan gambaran komprehensif dan menyeluruh terkait profil dan karakteristik pengguna layanan dompet digital di Indonesia. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil dan karakteristik masing-masing pengguna layanan dompet digital berdasarkan popularitasnya, yakni GoPay, OVO, Dana, LinkAja dan ShopeePay. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memahami perbedaan faktor demografi pengguna masing-masing layanan dompet digital. Dengan teknik metode analisis korespondensi berganda (MCA) pada data survei terhadap 409 pengguna layanan dompet digital di Indonesia, penelitian ini menghasilkan beberapa profil dan karakteristik pengguna yang berbeda. Selain itu, juga terbentuk beberapa klaster pengguna, yaitu pada analisis layanan dompet digital yang dimiliki oleh pengguna, hanya terbentuk tiga klaster, sedangkan untuk layanan dompet digital yang paling sering digunakan terdapat tujuh klaster. Temuan dari penelitian ini dapat membantu memahami profil dan karakteristik layanan dompet digital di Indonesia seto dapat digunakan sebagai informasi bagi para penyedia layanan dompet digital, baik dalam rangka untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan kepada penggunanya maupun menjangkau masyarakat yang lebih luas lagi

    PENGARUH PERSONAL TRAITS PEGAWAI TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA WORK FROM HOME (WFH) SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19

    Social Distancing has been imposed almost in all countries affected by Covid-19 including Indonesia, causing almost all companies to urge their employees to work from home (WFH). Teleworking in pandemic conditions is not a person’s choice, but a compulsion. This research is aimed at finding the relationship between personal traits and job satisfaction towards WFH. This study employed the big five personality and demography variables such as sex, age, ranks, and duration of work as control variables. This research uses a quantitative method, through a survey of 129 administration staff (Tendik) at the Institut Teknologi Bandung (Bandung Institute of Technology). The results of this study have demonstrated that there is a positive influence from the personal traits toward job satisfaction in WFH. Another finding is there is a negative influence from the rank of workers toward their job satisfaction in WFH setting, while other demography variables such as sex, age, and work duration have not significantly predicted job satisfaction towards WFH. Technological and cultural aspects of workspace communication are further discussed as a contributing factor that is not directly measured in this research
