    Get PDF
Bullying in higher education poses significant threats to students’ right to feel safe, disrupts psychological well-being, and undermines the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). This study aims to (1) identify the prevalence and forms of bullying in higher education, and (2) design an anti-bullying education program based on a Learning Management System (LMS) to enhance campus safety and support SDGs. A descriptive qualitative case study was conducted with 15 students, 10 lecturers, and 5 educational staff. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and campus policy document analysis, and analyzed thematically. Findings reveal that 36.7% of students experienced verbal abuse, 20% experienced online humiliation, and 26.7% were socially excluded. Bullying manifests in physical, verbal, psychological, and cyber forms, negatively affecting mental health, well-being, and academic achievement. The proposed LMS-based anti-bullying education incorporates structured learning modules on bullying types, impacts, and prevention strategies; online training for students and educators; discussion forums; integrated case reporting mechanisms; and periodic evaluations via questionnaires and data analysis. The system enhances awareness, facilitates anonymous reporting, and fosters active participation in creating a safe campus environment. This study underscores the potential of LMS as a strategic platform for inclusive, evidence-based anti-bullying interventions, contributing to the fulfillment of students’ rights and supporting the realization of SDG targets

Students must have speaking skills because they are very important for social interaction and work. This research aims to develop e-learning for the speaking skills course incorporating local Papuan wisdom. The type of research is development research. The concept of local wisdom applied specifically to learning materials includes social values and norms, traditional knowledge, customs, language, folklore, and culture. The research subjects involved 48 students from the Indonesian Language Education Study Program. This research was conducted at UNIMUDA Sorong. The research design uses the 4D (Four-D) model. The validity test was conducted by two validators and then analyzed using Aiken's V formula. The practicality test was conducted using student responses and then analyzed using Riduwan's formula. Effectiveness was tested using a t-test with normality and homogeneity tests as prerequisites. Based on the results of the research and discussion on e-learning for the speaking skills course with local Papuan wisdom, it is declared valid with an average score of 0.89 (very high validity). It is declared practical with an average score of 91.87 (very practical category). Effectively improves students' speaking skills based on the results of the t-test with a significance value of 0.000 (Sig. (2-tailed) data). This is less than the predetermined significance level of 0.05. The limitation of this research is that it only focuses on speaking skills. Only exploring Papua's local wisdom. Still unable to reach areas without internet access. This research contributes to the literature on speaking learning media that is responsive to local wisdom, particularly in the context of Papua. Supporting the theory that integrating technology and local wisdom can enhance language learning. The e-learning product produced is valid, practical, and effective, and can serve as a model for developing other language skills devices. Preserving local wisdom thru formal education

Given the significant increase in the use of AI tools in academic writing, this study aims to assess the AI literacy skills among postgraduate students in academic writing, focusing on their affective, behavioral, cognitive, and ethical competencies. Utilizing a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected via a survey conducted among 54 postgraduate students from Muhammadiyah University of Pringsewu Lampung and the State Islamic Institute Ambon. The survey included 20 items measuring the four dimensions of AI literacy. Data analysis involved computing frequencies and percentages to evaluate the participants' demographic profile and AI literacy levels. Findings revealed a generally high level of AI literacy, with students demonstrating positive attitudes towards AI tools, active integration of these tools in their writing processes, and a strong understanding of AI's benefits. However, areas for improvement were identified, particularly in motivation and ethical considerations. This research provides insights into the current state of AI literacy among postgraduate students and highlights the need for a targeted AI literacy model to enhance their academic writing skills efficiently and ethically. In conclusion, the research underscores the need for a targeted AI literacy model to enhance students' academic writing skills while addressing motivational and ethical gaps, fostering more effective and responsible use of AI in academic settings

    Get PDF
University services can be evaluated based on the quality of performance provided by faculty, administrative staff, and supporting institutional structures. Ensuring student satisfaction and minimizing complaints related to campus facilities are essential in enhancing the quality of higher education. This study aims to develop a method for measuring student satisfaction with campus services at Indramayu State Polytechnic using the fuzzy SERVQUAL technique. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 100 students from three majors: Engineering, Informatics, and Nursing. The instrument used was both valid, with a 5% significance level, and reliable, as shown by a Cronbach's alpha score of 0.746. Data analysis involved comparing the gap between students’ perceptions and expectations across five service quality dimensions: tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The analysis revealed the largest gap in tangibility and the smallest in empathy. These findings indicate that while certain service aspects meet student expectations, others still require significant improvement. The results are expected to provide valuable input for the campus to enhance service quality and better align institutional performance with student needs. It is recommended that continuous evaluation and improvement efforts be implemented, particularly in the most critical service dimensions

This article is entitled A Multidisciplinary Study of Hadiths on Wife's Maintenance: Social Tradition and the Perspective of the Prophetic Sunnah. This study uses a qualitative method with the approach of analyzing the hadith text through sanad and matan criticism, accompanied by lafadz interpretation (mufradat and word roots) and sharḥ al-ḥadīth. The maqāṣid al-syarī'ah theory is used as the main framework to understand the purpose of the Shari'ah in the obligation of maintenance, while the mubādalah theory and the theory of parallelism are used to interpret the husband-wife relationship in a fair, reciprocal, and functional manner. Classical and contemporary literature is also used as a comparison, especially in seeing how social traditions understand wife's maintenance compared to the perspective of the Prophetic Sunnah. The results confirm that wife maintenance in the Hadith is not just a material obligation, but also includes emotional and spiritual support. The multidisciplinary approach broadens the meaning of the hadith, making it more contextual to the needs of contemporary Islamic family la

The development of a valid and reliable assessment instrument of digital-age literacy is truly required to determine the level of students' digital-age literacy competence. One major issue is the lack of standardized instruments that comprehensively measure all dimensions of digital-age literacy. This study aims to develop and analyze digital-age literacy inventory instruments (DALI) since there is no standardized instrument regarding digital-age literacy has been created. The development of the DALI is carried through three phases: research scale components identification, writing and developing the questionnaire items, and the analysis of its validity and reliability. A total of 40 statement items were developed based on the digital age literacy component. The sample of this study was 75 eleventh-graders of science State Senior High Schools in Pontianak. The data were analyzed using the Rasch Model with the help of the WINSTEP 3.73 application. The analysis results show that the total value of the Aikens V index is 0.96. DALI has obtained the value of person reliability of 0.71 (good enough), item reliability of 0.98 (excellent), and the value of Cronbach's alpha of 0.75 (good). On the whole, the statement items are declared valid based on the value of outfit MNSQ person and the item of 0,99 and the value of Outfit Z Standardized (ZSTD) in which the person analysis -0.2 and the item of -0,3. Of 40 items being analyzed, 6 items do not fit the Rasch Model, the final number of valid and usable instrument items is 34 items. The development of DALI shows that the quality of the instrument is good and can be used to measure the digital age literacy of senior high school students within the 8 components of the latter
