The Development of Android-Based Mobile Learning on Materials for Preparation and Proclamation of Indonesian Independence for Class VIII Blind Students at MTs Yaketunis Yogyakarta
This research aims to find out the feasibility of mobile learning product. This research refers to the development model by Alessi & Trollip. The procedure of mobile learning development consists of (1) planning, (2) designing, and (3) developing that was equipped with component attributes including standards, ongoing evaluation, and project management. The product testing consists of alpha test assessed by media experts, material experts, and instructional experts, while, the beta test involvs impairment students. The data collection techniques used questionnaire. The instrument of data collections used questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis techniques. The research results showed the feasibility of the product was considered as highly-feasible based on the assessment of media experts, material experts, instructional experts, and the first students’ responses
Development of Hypertext-Based Teaching Materials in Curriculum and Learning Courses during the Covid-19 Pandemic
This study aims to develop hypertext-based teaching materials during the Covid-19 pandemic so that they can effectively improve learning outcomes for Curriculum and Learning courses. The development of teaching materials follows the steps of developing the Rowntree model with the stages of preliminary research, development planning, validation, evaluation and revision (expert judgment review, face to face, filed test), and implementation. The value of product development obtained from the review of material experts is 3.12, instructional design experts are 3.68, and design and layout experts are 3.72. The average results obtained from the face to face and field tests are 3.55. At the implementation stage, the results of the pretest showed a value of 65.5 and the results of the posttest showed a value of 82.7. This shows that the product development of hypertext-based teaching materials is feasible to use and can effectively improve learning outcomes for Curriculum and Learning courses
Assessing Learning Management System (LMS) for The Dairy Farmer: Obstacles to Delivering Online Learning Content
Online learning is currently an alternative learning strategy for continuous learning amidst the limitations of face-to-face learning due to the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. However, the implementation of online learning certainly does not only provide solutions but also provides obstacles in its implementation which results in the non-delivery of learning content in online learning. Of course this can have an impact on dairy farmers as new users of the Learning Management System. This study aims to analyze the constraints of online learning based on the responses that have been shared by Twitter social media users towards the implementation of online learning and to assess the use of LMS for dairy farmers. This study uses the Twitter data crawling method on Twitter social media user responses to the topic of online learning constraints and data visualization to analyze LMS usage by . The research findings state that most users of online learning complain about internet quota constraints and the technical constraints experienced by them resulting in learning content not being absorbed optimally. This research can enrich research related to the use of social media data as data that can be analyzed and documented for learning development
Overcoming Difficulties in Managing Online Learning in the Era of the Covid-19 Pandemic
Difficulties overcoming the management of online learning in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, due to the level of availability of technological devices, the readiness of human resources, the level of technological literacy of teachers, students and parents and the readiness of educational institutions. This article uses a descriptive qualitative method, this paper aims to map the forms of efforts to overcome online learning difficulties during the co-19 pandemic and analyze the causes. Data collected sourced from primary data and secondary data. Secondary data of 50 Aliyah madrasah institutions in Bengkulu. Primary data includes teacher profiling, motivation, types of difficulties and efforts to overcome the difficulties they experience. Secondary data consists of teacher literacy and attendance, statistics on teacher competency test results. Primary data and secondary data are used as a basis for analysis in efforts to overcome difficulties in managing online learning during the co-19 pandemic, through interviews with 15 teachers and 15 students, taking into account their special characteristics, situation and culture. This study shows that differences in socioeconomic groups of students and parents shape their opportunities to study online. The gap in students' socio-economic class has consequences for the level of difficulty in managing online learning in communicating, responding, doing activities, collaborating and achieving student competency and achievement. The existing structural gaps are an important factor in interpreting the reality of difficulties in managing online learning at Aliyah madrasas in Bengkulu Province, Indonesia
Clustering Of Student Learning Styles in the industri 4.0 Using KMeans Algorithm
Clustering is a technique for grouping homogeneous data so that the points in each cluster are as similar as possible according to convenience measures such as Euclidean-based distance or correlation-based distance. In the industrial era 4.0, learning media, the environment, the way teachers teach will affect student learning styles. From research on learning styles, many researchers agree on the importance of identifying learning styles to accelerate their learning performance. The purpose of this study is to classify student learning styles in the industrial era 4.0 using the Kmeans algorithm and the elbow method. The research method used is a waterfall. The number of research subjects was 108 students. the results of the research on the number of clusters (K), namely 6, obtained cluster 1 as many as 27 students, cluster 2 as many as 24 students, cluster 3 as many as 21 students, cluster 4 as many as 17 students, cluster 5 as many as 11 students and cluster 6 as many as 8 students. The performance of the grouping results based on the silhouette coefficient is 0.302, which means the grouping structure is weak. In cluster 1, the highest number has auditory elements, followed by kinesthetic and visual elements. The development of ICT-based media is one of the factors of student learning styles in the industrial era 4.
Development of Canva Application Assisted Learning Media in Class XII Advanced Study Materials with 4-D Models
This study aims to share learning media using Canva and to find out student responses. This type of research is research using the 4-D development example developed by S. Thiagarajan using 4 stages, namely: the definition stage (Define), the planning stage (Design), the development stage (Develop), the dissemination stage (Disseminate). The research sample was class XII students totaling 38 students. Research instruments include questionnaires and needs analysis in this study using observation, interviews and questionnaires. The technique used in the analysis of this research data is quantitative descriptive analysis. Learning media using Canva can increase student learning motivation. The use of this media is very effective, both offline and online. The development of Canva learning media is also based on phenomena in the field, namely that there has not been development of learning media using Canva for use at MAN 1 Pontianak, as a result it is necessary to develop learning media using Canva that are valid and practical. The purpose of this study is to share learning media using Canva which is used at MAN 1 Pontianak. It is hoped that this learning media can be used by teachers, especially guidance and counseling teachers for learning in advanced study material classes
Effect of Blended Learning in high school Japanese Language Learning outcomes
This study aimed to determine the effect of blended learning-based contextual learning and independent learning on Japanese language learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 1 Setu. The ability to read and write kana (hiragana and katakana) is very important for basic level Japanese learners to support learning at the next level. Blended learning-based learning is the best choice to increase effectiveness, efficiency, during the current pandemic. With blended learning, interaction and communication between students and between teachers and students can continue. This paper will discuss the meaning of blended learning, the advantages and disadvantages of blended learning and the design of blended learning implementation. This study aims to determine the ability of students in mastering hiragana letters and simple grammar using a blended learning model. The author uses online learning (e-learning) with Zoom and Google Classroom applications. This study used an experimental method with level 2 x 2 treatment. The sample of this study amounted to 35 students of class X Language SMAN 1 Setu Bekasi. The research instruments used were tests, questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of this study conclude that Gakkouno seikatsu learning outcomes are higher with contextual learning strategies with blended learning than conventional learning strategy. It is recommended that the blended learning strategy can be used as an alternative learning process in Japanese language learning
Interactive Media Applications as Learning Aids for Food Preservation Practice Courses for Deaf Vocational Students
This study aims to develop an interactive learning application that helps in providing direction on food preservation practices which are then expected to be a means of delivering material using video tutorials, text and equipped with sign language interpreter videos so that learning becomes more communicative for deaf students. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method. The development procedure used in this research is the Luther-Sutopo method. Subjects in this study focused on deaf students who took food preservation courses. The form of the instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. The results of the study show that at stage The results of the study show that at stage (1) The interactive learning application can help in providing direction on food preservation practices for deaf students. This application contains a means of delivering material in the form of learning tutorial videos equipped with text and added with translator videos using sign language. This application is declared feasible in all aspects either by media experts or deaf students. (2) The results of application trials from media experts obtained the most in the aspect of assessing media integration. The results of the trial obtained from deaf students obtained the highest score was on the artistic and aesthetic aspects and on the aspects of overall functioning
Development of Mathematics Teaching Materials to Improve Higher Order Thinking Skills in Grade 3rd Students in Elementary School
Mathematics learning in elementary schools is not fully oriented to higher order thinking skills (HOTS). In fact, HOTS play an important role in solving mathematical problems so that they require the support of effective teaching materials. The purpose of this study was to develop mathematics teaching materials to improve HOTS in grade 3 elementary school students. This research is a development research using the Borg & Gall model. The stages of this research consist of information gathering, development planning, product draft development, and initial product testing. Research data obtained through questionnaires and tests. The data were then analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the product assessment results from material experts were 88.09, media experts were 92.00, linguists were 92.30, and practitioners were 92.24. Considering the results of the validation assessment from several experts, it can be concluded that the mathematics teaching materials developed have been feasible to improve HOTS in grade 3 elementary school students. The development of 3D-based mathematics teaching materials on two-dimentional figure provides assistance for students in solving problems more realistically and easily. Book products are not only in the form of pictures but can be seen, folded or rotated so that they can develop students' thinking in analyzing, evaluating and creating which are adapted to the context of solving mathematical problems in elementary schools
Interactive Animation Learning Media on Android as a Creative Learning in Regression Analysis Topic
Technology has a significant role to build the quality of education which is one of the world’s purpose in sustainable development goals in 2015-2030 by United Nations. The implementation of technology in education is to develop the learning media. The purpose of this study is to create interactive animation learning media that can be accessed using Android Smartphone as one of creative learning alternative in online learning. This media was applied in Statistics Subject, Regression Analysis Topic, Accounting Department of Politeknik Negeri Bali. The method used in this research was research and development (R&D). There were some steps in this research which are (1) planning and designing; (2) production and editing; (3) validating and revision; (4) implementation; and (5) evaluation step. The first step was planning and designing. In this step, the animation characters, background, color theme, and storyboard were determined. The next step was production and editing step. After that the validation steps were done. There were three validators in this research, which were Statistics Expert, Statistics Lecturer, and Media expert. The validation score of this media was 95.33 that was classified as a very good learning media and proper to be implemented. The next step was revising step as the validators’ suggestion. The learning media then was implemented in experiment class using hybrid learning environment. And as the last step, the evaluation step was done by comparing the analysis test score of experiment class and the control class. The method used in evaluation step was two independent sample t-test. As conclusion, this media can improve the ability of student in Statistical Analysis
