A tömördi Chernel-kúria bejárati kapujának restaurálása
A tömördi Chernel-kúria helyén a 18. században egy korábbi kastély állt. Chernel (VII.)
Pozitív vezetés a gyakorlatban: Egy modell a jövőnkhöz
Phylogeography of the Euro-Siberian steppe plant Astragalus austriacus: Late Pleistocene climate fluctuations fuelled formation and expansion of two main lineages from a Pontic-Pannonian area of origin
The Euro-Siberian steppes have experienced large-scale range fluctuations due to the climatic changes of the Pleistocene that may have also fuelled reshuffling of past steppe vegetation. These species-rich steppe grasslands were much more widespread during glacials and contracted during interglacials, a dynamic which should also be reflected by the evolutionary history of their biota. Astragalus austriacus is a widespread steppe species with European-western Siberian distribution and an ideal model to study the florogenesis of the Euro-Siberian steppes. Here, we inferred the phylogeography of A. austriacus based on genotyping-by-sequencing (GBS) data from populations sampled from the western edge of the Pannonian region across the Pontic region to the western Siberian region. Additionally, we applied molecular dating using single gene sequence data (ycf1, matK and ITS). We outline an evolutionary scenario in which intraspecific diversification occurred in the eastern part of Europe during the later Pleistocene (0.48–0.24 Ma). From there, the species expanded both eastwards and westwards, likely during a cold period, which is reflected by two main lineages within A. austriacus that today occur in the Pannonian sensu lato and in the Pontic/south-western Siberian regions, respectively. Demographic modelling supported such a scenario and showed that population sizes were larger during the last cold stage and contracted postglacially. Within the Pannonian sensu lato region, strong substructure was detected, likely as a result of repeated disintegration of the continuous cold-stage steppes in Europe. Finally, our results are in line with evolutionary scenarios suggested for other steppe species such as Adonis vernalis
Land-use land cover changes and their relationship with population and climate in Western Uganda
Sustainable management of land and its ecosystem requires well-documented Land-use and Land Cover changes (LULCCs) that have occurred over time. The objective of this study was to document the LULCCs, determine their relationship with climate and population changes in Western Uganda, and provide evidence to support decision-making in this region. This study utilized satellite images for the years 1992, 2000, 2010, and 2020 obtained from the European Space Agency Climate Change Initiative (ESA CCI), climatic data from NASA, and population data from the Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBoS). LULCCs and their influencers were characterized in the region, for the period 1992 to 2020. ArcGIS Pro Software Program was used to Filter time series data using Definition Query, while the scatterplot was employed to determine the relationship between changes in climate and population on LULCCs. Results indicate that LULC is dominated by agriculture (66.46%), followed by forests (16.22%), waterbodies (8.0%), grassland, shrubland, wetland, and urban areas at 6.11%, 2.63%, 0.49%, and 0.1%, respectively. From 1992 to 2020, the area under agriculture, forest and urban increased by 0.1%, 0.1%, and 0.08%, respectively, while grassland, wetland, and shrubland declined by 0.22%, 0.05%, and 0.01%, respectively. LULCCs for areas under wetland, grassland, and urban areas have a stronger relationship with precipitation and population growth. This information can be used by the decision-makers at the local, district, and national levels to better guide land-use practices aimed at sustainable land-use management for the current and future generations. © 2024 Brawijaya University. A Longitudinal Overview Of The Situation Of Families From An Inclusion Perspective Environmental And Family Factors Associated With Special Educational Needs
While diagnostic systems such as the ICD-11 and DSM-5 exclude social and economic factors as potential causes of disability and learning problems, statistics from the educational and social systems of many European countries contradict this approach. Our research focuses on the compensatory strategies of the education system in Hungary, as the literature suggests that disability, differential development, and learning problems are a major stress factor and problem to be solved for the education system, the individual, and the family. An examination of the Hungarian system is particularly warranted in light of the results of the most recent PISA surveys, which show that educational failure in this country is strongly correlated with family background. Our research has demonstrated that special educational needs are more strongly related to family background and social factors than to other factors, which may be indirect evidence that family and social background are significant variables in the management of stress. In the presence of an unfavorable social background, disability and learning disabilities place greater pressure and stress on the family, increasing the risk of disconnection and early school leaving.Consequently, the role of proper education and cooperation is of paramount importance, as it is clear that neither the family nor the education system alone can be successful in dealing with stress. Our research has shown that resilience is intimately connected to parental factors, which are strongly influenced by parental education. Therefore, stress management and the avoidance of additional stress can be linked to the education system, even if indirectly. Furthermore, the formal education system is a crucial site for fostering effective attitudes, underscoring the importance of formal education in shaping attitudes and preparing individuals for lifelong learning, rather than simply imparting knowledge. To effectively manage stress, individuals must continuously develop and learn new coping strategies, and consciously cultivate resilience, as future stressors are unpredictable
Jelen kutatás empirikus módszerekkel vizsgálja a 0–7 éves korosztály VR használati szokásait Magyarországon, ezáltal árnyalt képet adva a jelenlegi helyzetről.

INFRARED SPECTRUM CHANGE OF UV IRRADIATED AND NATURAL WOOD SAMPLES DURING 12 YEARS OF STORAGE IN TOTAL DARKNESS
The stability of the surface of UV-irradiated wood samples was investigated after 12 years of storage in total darkness at room temperature. The investigated specimens were earlywood and latewood of Scots pine sapwood, earlywood and latewood of spruce, earlywood of ash, beech and hybrid poplar. The thin (1 mm tick) samples contained only earlywood or latewood, and the tangential surfaces were used for infrared spectrum measurement. For comparison, the non-irradiated natural surface (back side) of the specimens was used for infrared spectrum measurement. Natural wood surfaces were stable during the storage. Only ether linkages in hemicelluloses showed minor degradation at 1175 cm-1 wavenumber. Lignin molecules remained stable during the 12-year storage period on both UV irradiated and non-irradiated side of the specimens. In contrast, UV irradiated samples suffered alterations during the 12 years of thermal treatment at low temperature (20-25 degrees C). Hemicelluloses in photodegraded surface layers underwent thermal degradation and oxidation processes, generating new carbonyl groups. Extractives also presented absorption increase in the conjugated carbonyl region
