    Design of reinforced concrete T beams bridge with variation concrete strength is conducted to determine design of a bridge which can be built in remote area with a minimum concrete quality but still in accordance with the applicable safety standards. The bridge has a span of 15 m, a width of traffic lanes 2 x 5.5 m with variations concrete strength of K-200, K-225, K-250, K-275 and K-300. The calculations that have been done show that in cross section 2-2 , cross section 3-3 and cross section 4-4, the lower concrete strength will obtains more flexural girder reinforcement needs. However at cross section 1-1 the amount of reinforcement on every concrete strength has the same amount of reinforcement because the reinforcement ratio is the ratio of minimum reinforcement. Shear reinforcement of girder using the same diameter will produce the reinforcement needs with larger spacing while concrete strength increased. Maximum girder deflection that occurs will be smaller if the concrete strength increases. However, if the amount of reinforcement in the quality of K-200 more larger then the value deflection will be smaller compared with the quality of K-300. The lower quality of flexural strength concrete slab with the D16 will get smaller reinforcement spacing.Key word : bridge, T beams, quality variation, Upper structur

    The limited area for civil construction is affecting people to make building construction upper the clay- organic. The speciment of investigation soil wasobtained in Jabung, East Lampung. The speciment of soil obtaindirect shear and vane shear modeling test usingglass box with contain ±130,730gram/ 130,7kgof soil. Direct shear test for 30 cm depth below surfaceundrained soil obtainsomeresult.The result are forshearing strain is 0,1286 kg/cm2, shearing strain of vane shear test is 0,61 kg/cm2, and the value of bearing capacity is 1,4103 kg/cm2. for 50 cm depth below surfaceundrained soilintoobtain result for shearing strain is 0.1196 kg/cm2, shearing strain of vane shear test is 0,61 kg/cm2, and the value of bearing capacity is 1,7018 kg/cm2.     Tanah memegang peranan penting dalam infrastruktur untuk mencapai infrastruktur yang kokoh, tanah di sumatera memiliki dataran yang tidak rata, sehingga membutuhkan tanah untuk timbunan agar mendapatkan ketinggian tanah yang direncanakan. Timbunan memerlukan pemadatan tanah agar dapat benar-benar kuat dan stabil terhadap beban struktur maupun beban non struktur. Pada  penelitian ini adalah menentukan perbandingan derajad kepadatan tanah menggunakan alat uji tekan modifikasi dengan alat uji standar proctor. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel tanah yang berasal dari daerah Gedung Agung Kec. Jati Agung, Lampung Selatan. Pelaksanaan pengujian alat tekan pemadat modifikasi dengan menggunakan empat sampel tanah pada masing-masing tekanan, tekanan yang digunakan yaitu 1,66 MPa, 6,2 MPa, 7 MPa dan 8,4 MPa.Berdasarkan hasil dari pengujian sifat-fisik dan mekanis, tanah digolongkan sebagai kelompok tanah A-2-4 yaitu tanah pasir berlempung. Pengujian dari uji pemadatan tanah menggunakan standard proctor didapatkan nilai 1,62 gr/cm3 dan nilai berat volume kering menggunakan uji alat tekan modifikasi didapatkan hasil 1,6234 gr/cm3, sehingga dengan hasil yang didapatkan alat uji tekan modifikasi dapat dipakai untuk menggunakan pengujian  uji pemadatan di laboratorium

    Feasibility Analysis is an appropriate analysis of parameters to determine a successful implemented project or not. Feasibility analysis is divided into two parts economic and financial analysis that both affect the feasibility of a project. The purpose of this study is to determine the costs incurred in a railway shortcut project, to analyze delay times before and after a railway shortcut, and to find out which railway shortcut project meets the economic and financial feasibility requirements. In this study, an analysis of the economic and financial feasibility and summarize the economic viability benefits of the Tegineneng - Tarahan shortcut project was conduct. A project is declared feasible or not by doing comparison with the feasibility method that is NPV> 0, BCR> 1, PP faster than the specified time, IRR> capital cost, and PI> 1. This study uses full occupancy rate with discount rate of 5% , 10%, and 15%, respectively.Based on the results obtained in terms of economic feasibility analysis that investment evaluation does not qualify due to the amount of benefit is too small so that economic analysis is not feasible.     The soil occupies an important role in the construction of a building, the main benefit of the soil isas a foundation of the construction, there are several soil shear strength tests, such as DirectShear Test, and Vane Shear Test. Each test can produce different test results for the same testobject. This may occur due to different testing procedures and workings of different tools as wellas the main test result targets of each equipment in the determination of soil parameters.Therefore, a careful soil investigation is needed, especially to determine the degree of saturationin peat soils by using soil shear strength test. In this study, the soil tested is a type of peat soiloriginated from the Rawa Seragi area, Belimbing Sari Village, Jabung District, East LampungDistrict.The tests were conducted directly in the laboratory for 12 (twelve) points and at differentdepths with Vane Shear and Direct Shear tools used to calculate the soil and maximum readingability on the torsimeter dial. Based on the test results obtained the average shear strength valueof Vane Shear on saturated soil at 30cm with an average value of 0.0379 and at a depth of 50cmwith an average value of 0.0384 and on unsaturated soil at a depth of 30cm with an average valueof 0.0434 and at a depth of 50cm with an average value of 0.0406 thus obtained a decrease of0.0066.Keywords: Degree of Saturation, Peat Soil, Shear Strength Tes

    Studi Efektivitas Ruang Henti Khusus (RHK) Sepeda Motor Pada Simpang Bersinyal

    The increasing number of motorcycle vehicles, causing traffic congestion at the signal intersection in Bandar Lampung City. As an effort in reducing congestion, the government of Bandar Lampung city made Special Stopping Space (RHK) for motorcycles. The RHK is a space dedicated to arrange motorcycle queue place when stop at the signalized intersection during traffic light period. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of RHK at the signalized intersection, and it’s impact on saturation current increase and approach capacity compared to approach without RHK. The effectiveness and impact of RHK, was conducted by surveying traffic flow in the morning during peak hours using camera video in each selected approaches. The survey data obtained were analyzed using MKJI and compared with previous research. RHK increases saturation flow 7,3% - 17,5% and approach capacity 37,67% - 52,09%. In conclusion RHK is effective to be provided in signal intersection. Value of RHK filling level at Jl. P. Diponegoro - Jl. P. Diponegoro and Jl. Jend. Sudirman - Jl. Gajah Mada - Jl. Jend. Sudirman is less than 50% that indicates bad while at Jl. Jend. Sudirman - Jl. Jend. Sudirman and Jl. Dr. Susilo - Jl. P.     Bridges are one of the most important means of transportation for humans. In the construction of bridge construction, there are 2 methods used namely conventional and pre-cast methods. Both of these methods have differences in the construction of the upper building structure alone. In the pre-cast bridge construction: When the work for the upper structure of the building is 59 days, the number of workers is 130 people, the work barriers are not too constraining the traffic. Whereas in conventional bridge construction: The work time is 110 days, the number of workers is 104, the obstacle of work will hamper the traffic below. From the analysis of the two types of bridges, pre-cast bridges are 20% more expensive than conventional bridges, but the pre-cast bridge work time is 51 days faster.Keywords : Pre-cast bridge construction, Conventional bridge construction

    Paving block is a composition ingredient construction made from mixture of portland cement or a kind of adhesive hydrolysis, water, and aggregates with or without other ingredients. Concrete bricks can colored as original color or given substance color on composition and used for page both inside nor outside construction. In this study the process of manufacture of paving blocks will use a mix of soil and chalk. Moreover, soaking of the paving blocks that are expected to increase the strength of paving blocks is according to SNI 03-0691-1996. Soil samples tested were from Kota Baru, South Lampung. Composition blend of soil and chalk with variation time to soak is 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, and 28 days, as well as to the treatment of pre-combustion and post-combustion of the sample of paving blocks. Based on the results of physical testing the original soil, USCS classify soil samples as fine-grained soil and belong to the group ML. Results from this study is the manufacture of paving blocks using silt soil and chalk soil material that does not meet the specifications of SNI 03-0691-1996. This is because the weakness on modification compactor which are use when make a sampel. For the compressive strength of paving blocks pre-combustion and post-combustion are best shown in soaking time of 28 days. The compressive strength that generated as a whole still does not meet the specifications of the paving block SK SNI 03-0691-1996 that is a minimum compressive strength at 85 kg/cm2. But value of water absorption meets the specification 03-0691-1996 which is 3%-10%.Keyword : Paving block, slit soil, compressive strength, soil burning

    Clays and silts have the low strength compressive. Clay is a kind of fine grain soil that has a low bearing capacity and very sensitive to changes in water content. To improve soil conditions then soil reinforcement is done by using lime substance. The clay soil sample is a type of high plasticity clay that taken from Rawa Sragi- Jabung- East Lampung district and then the silt soil sample is taken from Yosumulyo-East Metro- Metro City. Based on previous experiments, that soil is included in soft clay and high plasticity category. Based on Unified Soil Clasification (USCS), clay belong to CL category, While silts belong to Cl-ML category. In unconfined compressive strength test, clays and silts with variation of curing time and unsoaked condition, soil with hydrated lime mixtured with modified proctor compacted, for clays,Qu value increased with the addition of lime content.  It get Qu optimum value increased when it has 12% hydrated lime content, 28 days of curing time. For silts Qu optimum value inscreased when it has 12% hydrated lime content and 28 days of curing time. Hydrated lime adding could inscred unconfined compressive strength but with longer curing time duration (28 days).     Planning a mode of transport could be done in order to know the extent of the effectiveness of the movement of people and goods or use the train through the route of Tanjung Karang - Radin Inten II Airport. In addition, the plan is also aims to reduce the obstacles that often complained by users of transport from Tanjung karang - Radin Inten II Airport which using moda transportation right now. In this study the method used is statistics descriptive, to find utility board based on what’s the way of work or business, a social visit, school, and leisure. Of all respondents filled out the questionnaire, there are 258 (71,67%) of respondents from Bandar Lampung and 102 (28,33%) of respondents came from out Bandar Lampung. It showed that the demand of transport air that comes from Bandar Lampung is higher compared to the number of out Bandar Lampung. The survey also said as many as 86,12% of respondents from Bandar Lampung interest to switch to moda transportation. Keyword: Train, airport train, train schedule, gapeka
