    Evaluasi dan Perkuatan Struktur Pelat, dan Dinding Geser dengan Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP)

    The Education hospital building of University of Lampung has been stalled and the construction is abandoned for years. So that, there is concern about the existing strength installed in the field. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate and to strengthen the structure for increasing the strength and assuring appropriateness of the building. Two methods used in evaluating this building which weredirect survey method in the field and numerical method used the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) program. For strengthening calculations the American Concrete Institute code was applied (ACI 440.2R, 2008). The material for strengthening used Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP). The results showed that the existing concrete compressive strength on all structural elements decreased from the design which was 25 MPa. However, theexisting steel reinforcement tests showed good strength which greater than design strength of 400 Mpa.In strengthening calculation with GFRP type of SEH-51A which has tensility strength of 460 MPa, the material can increase flexural strength of several slabs that requiredfor strengthening. In addition, in the shear wall analysis, it concluded that the existing shear wall were strong enough to withstand the nominal shear forcesdesign that might be occured. Keywords : Structures Evaluation, Strengthening Structures, Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymers, Concrete Slab and Shear Walls

    The University of Lampung is one of university in lampung that possesses the active as much as 25.805 students in 2016. This study aims to for any identifying characteristic mode of transportation and he knows the selection of factors influencing the students in an election mode of transportation to campus .This study was conducted by the use of the method of analysis descriptive against characteristic of the selection of modes of transportation by college students and methods correlations to know variables affecting the selection of modes of transport by university students lampung.The result of this study showed that the proportion of students foot and bike (16,7%) percent motorcycle (48,0%) percent car (16,0%) percent and public transportation (19,3%) percent The results of the testing correlation value and the relationship with the variables transportation used by students to reach campus and unknown factors influencing the selection of modes of transportation students to campus University of Lampung, sex is the intensity of the, mode the cost of /, fare, age travel time, mileage, vehicle ownership and income parents based on the calculation on a variable that has the lowest correlation value are ownership variables license with the correlation of 0,180 (α<0,05), and the highest correlation is variable income parents with the correlation of 0,398 (α< 0,05)

    Korelasi Uji Pemadatan Standard Proctor Method Terhadap Pengujian CBR Laboratorium Berdasarkan Alat Uji Tekan Modifikasi di Laboratorium Untuk Pemadatan Tanah di Lapangan

    Untuk mendapatkan tanah timbunan dengan kualitas yang baik, diperlukan pemadatan serta pengujian California Bearing Ratio (CBR) agar tanah timbunan kuat dan stabil terhadap beban struktur maupun beban non struktur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil uji CBR metode tumbukan dengan hasil uji CBR metode tekanan.Sampel tanah yang digunakan adalah tanah timbunan biasa, terdiri dari enam sampel untuk pengujian CBR metode tumbukan dan delapanbelas sampel untuk pengujian CBR metode tekanan menggunakan alat uji tekan pemadat modifikasi. Tekanan yang digunakan adalah 5 MPa, 10 MPa, dan 15 MPa dengan menggunakan tiga sampel tanah pada masing-masing tekanan. Dari penelitian diperoleh hasil nilai CBR yang bervariasi, nilai CBR tanpa rendaman metode tumbukan (2,45%) lebih rendah dibandingkan nilai CBR tanpa rendaman metode tekanan yaitu sebesar 4,87%, 4,9%, dan 5%. Sebaliknya, nilai CBR rendaman metode tumbukan (2%) lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai CBR rendaman metode tekanan yaitu 0,78%, 0,8%, dan 1,45%.Kata kunci: Tanah Timbunan, Standard Proctor, California Bearing Ratio (CBR), Alat Uji Tekan Pemadat Modifikasi

    Kajian Efektivitas Rute Layanan BRT Koridor Rajabasa-Panjang

    One of the public transportations in Bandar Lampung is the BRT Rajabasa-Panjang corridor. However, due to the lack of interest of the community to use public vehicles specifically for BRT, only one of the seven corridors operated.The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effectiveness of BRT Transport Service Routes in the Rajabasa-Panjang corridor with the effect of effectiveness measured by service frequency, load factor, head way, travel speed, and standardized departure time as service performance indicators.The results of this study are the average speed of BRT Rajabasa-Panjang route, which is 26.25 km/hr, and from Panjang-Rajabasa route is 27.87 km/hr. For the average value of Load Factor on the Rajabasa-Panjang route is 38.23 % and on the Panjang-Rajabasa route is 38.80%. From the results of the data obtained, the Time Headway value is obtained at 16.5 minutes and the value of service frequency is equal to 4 vehicles/hour. The average cycle time on BRT is Monday and Friday, which is 2 hours 49 minutes and Saturday is only 2 hours 28 minutes.     Studi perkuatan lentur balok beton bertulang menggunakan GFRP (Glass fiber reinforced polymer) dan WM (wiremesh)

    This study discusses flexural strengthening of reinforced concrete beams using GFRP (glass fiber reinforced polymer) and wiremesh. The beams are used have dimensions of length 1.7 m, width and height of 15 cm. Beams were tested with two-point system load using a loadingframe. Two types of retrofitting done in this study is the first type of reinforcement used 4 ply GFRP and retrofitting of the second type by using three layers of GFRP and 1 layer wiremesh. The 6 bars are tested, namely two beams without reinforcement, two beams by using reinforcement beam type 1 and 2 by using the retrofitting of type 2.Based on these results, reinforced beams can be increased up to 146% of the beam without reinforcement. Without reinforcement beam flexural failure with crack spreads at constant torque region and enlarged cracks only at one place in the area. While beams with reinforcement debonding all experienced failure at one end reinforcement. Based on the indexvalue of the beam ductility without retrofitting more ductile than the beam using the retrofitting.Keyword: Concrete, GFRP, Wiremesh, debonding, ductilit

    Rain Water Harvesting is a method of water conservation by flowing rainwater into a single point of basin on the surface of the earth.  This method can be applied to areas that have a supporting topography including the educational environment.  The Lampung University area has several points of basin to hold rainwater, one of them is a water basins in the area of Simple Flats for University of Lampung can be used to do water conservation through the construction of small dam.The methods are used to redesign this small dam conservation are hydrological , small dam conservation construction planning , analysis stability of  planned constructions and the last method is estimating building construction cost.  Small dam conservation planned height of 4 m, with a base elevation at +107,00 m the dam crest elevation +110,00 m, dam crest width 2 m, the slope of 1:1,5.  The inflow debit of 0,987 m³/sec and the outflow debit of 0,586 m³/sec with cycle period 5 years. Spillway which used is free overflow type and basin specific energy building Vlugter type.  Stability small dam conservation at simple rental flats University of Lampung construction stated as safe. Reservoir volume after planned to be 29.160,750 m3, increasing from the previous volume 3.309,741 m3.  Cost estimated of design planning of conservation small dam is Rp. 7.323.901.000,00. Keywords: Small dam, Conservation, University of Lampung

    In the Faculty of Medicine, University of Lampung there is a pool with a small reservoir that can overflow during the rainy season, because it has not been able to accommodate the inflow water. The solution is planning a small dam to increase its function as water reservoir, flood control, and conservation.The methods are used to redesign this small dam conservation are hydrological analyses, small dam construction planning, analysis stability of  planned constructions and estimating building construction cost.  The result are storage capacity of small dam is 3627,9560 m3 from storage capacity before redesign is 3219,7176 m3, the flood debit of 0,8219  m3/s with cycle period 5 years,  small dam planned height of 4,5 m,withabaseelevationat+103,5 thedamcrestelevation+106,61. Spillway which used is Open Ogee type and basin specific energy building Vlughter type. Stability small dam construction stated as safe with flood condition, normal condition and empty condition. Cost estimated of design planning of conservation small dam at Medicine Faculty University of Lampung is Rp3.265.660.000.     Perencanaan Embung Konservasi di Laboratorium Lapnagan Terpadu Fakultas Teknik Universitas Lampung

    AbstractThis research intended to conserve water resources and build an integrated field laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering of Lampung University. The small dam planning method consists of hydrological analysis, small dam body planning analysis, soil strength stability analysis of reservoir construction, and analysis of the budget plan in small dam construction..Rainfall data uses Polinela rain station data with one point rainfall analysis method. The calculation results obtained using these methods are, type of reservoir with small dam dimensions, height of 3,75 m with a base elevation of +105,00 and peak elevation of +108,75, reservoir length of 165,613 m and width of the lighthouse as wide as 2,60 m, slope with 1:1,5 embung height with reinforcement of stone pairs. The flood discharge is 0,375 m³/s for the planned rain pattern of 90% in Bandar Lampung area and the planned water storage volume is 4.951,404 m². The planned budget for Conservation Embung at the Integrated Field Laboratory of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung is Rp. 2,817,793,499 (two billion eight hundred seventeen million seven hundred ninety three thousand four hundred ninety nine rupiahs). Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkonservasi sumber daya air dan membangun laboratorium lapangan terpadu di Fakultas Teknik Universitas Lampung. Metode perencanaan embung ini terdiri dari analisis hidrologi, analisis perencanaan tubuh embung, analisis stabilitas kekuatan tanah terhadap konstruksi embung, dan rencana anggaran biaya pada konstruksi embung.  Data hujan menggunakan data stasiun hujan Polinela dengan metode analisis hujan satu titik (point rainfall). Hasil perhitungan didapatkan dengan menggunakan metode-metode tersebut yaitu, tipe embung urugan dengan dimensi embung, tinggi 3,75 m dengan elevasi dasar +105,00 dan elevasi puncak +108,75, panjang embung sebesar 165,613 m dan lebar mercu selebar 2,60 m, kemiringan terhadap tinggi embung 1:1,5 dengan perkuatan pasangan batu. Debit banjir sebesar 0,375 m³/detik untuk pola hujan rencana 90% daerah Bandar Lampung dan volume tampungan air rencana sebesar 4.951,404 m². Rencana anggaran biaya Embung Konservasi di Laboratorium Lapangan Tepadu Fakultas Teknik Universitas Lampung sebesar Rp. 2.817.793.499,- (dua miliyar delapan ratus tujuh belas juta tujuh ratus sembilan puluh tiga ribu empat ratus sembilan puluh sembilan rupiah)

     Provinsi Jawa Barat dikenal sebagai salah satu pusat perekonomian Indonesia dengan kekayaan utama di sektor pertanian dan perternakan. Salah satu daerah di Provinsi Jawa Barat penghasil terbesar dari sektor-sektor tersebut adalah Kabupaten Bandung yang dilintasi oleh jalur kereta api. Sistem transportasi KA di Kabupaten Bandung sudah menjelma sebagai sarana transportasi umum utama, baik untuk pengangkutan barang maupun penumpang. Dengan keunggulan dan potensi moda transportasi KA, terlebih lagi untuk mendukung upaya pemerintah mengoptimalkan perekonomian Kabupaten Bandung, maka pemerintah berencana membangun jalur KA ganda lintas Gedebage-Cicalengka. Untuk mepermudah transportasi dan menambah kapasitas lintas akan dibangun jalur ganda kereta api pada Gedebage - Cicalengka.Analisis yang dilakukan terkait rencana pembangunan kereta ini adalah analisis finansial dengan meninjau NPV (Net Present Value), BCR (Benefit Cost Ratio), dan IRR (Economic Internal Rate of Return) untuk mengetahui layak atau tidaknya kereta ini direalisasikan. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder berupa tarif kereta Rancaekek – Cicalengka, data pengoperasian kereta Bandung-Cicalengka, tarif dry port pada stasiun Gedebage, volume arus petikemas Gedebage, dan data Inflasi Bank Indonesia tahun 2004 sampai 2018.Skenario yang paling menguntungkan terdapat pada skenario 4, 8, dan 12  dengan nilai BCR 2,13 , 1,86 , dan 1,22. Dan nilai NPV berturut-turut sebesar Rp 229.838.227.622, Rp 174.619.472.560, Rp 44.386.116.874.     Evaluasi Tarif Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Bandar Lampung Rute Rajabasa-Panjang Berdasarkan Ability To Pay (ATP)

    AbstrakTarif merupakan salah satu faktor pemilihan moda angkutan transportasi. Pada BusRapid Transit Bandar Lampung rute layanan Rajabasa-Panjang  karena faktor pengguna BRT salah satunya adalah tarif. Faktor lain penguna BRT tersebut adalah masyarakat yang beragam seperti, pelajar, mahasiswa, pegawai negeri, ibu rumah tangga, wiraswasta/wirausaha dan lain-lain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi tarif BRT berdasarkan ATP pengguna BRT dengan alokasi biaya untuk penggunaan BRT/bulan berbanding dengan frekuensi penggunaan BRT/bln. Hasil dari penelitian yaitu kemampuan responden BRT BandarLampungRute Rajabasa-Panjang membayar jasa untuk masyarakat umum berpendapatan yaitu sebesar Rp9.3250,00dan untuk pelajar/mahasiswa sebesar Rp5.0910,00. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa untuk masyarakat umum tidak keberatan atau tidak masalah dengan tarif yang ditetapkan pemerintah, namun untuk pelajar/mahasiswa kemampuan dalam membayar BRT lebih rendah, sehingga perlu adanya kebijakan atau subsidi untuk pelajar/mahasiswa.
