Pengaruh perubahan ukuran partikel pada batuan lapuk akibat fenomena slaking
Salah satu penyebab batuan mengalami perubahan bentuk yaitu adanya Slaking. Slaking merupakan keadaan tanah atau batuan yang tidak dapat mempertahankan konsistensinya akibat adanya gangguan air. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui mineral penyusun batuan lapuk, dan mengetahui perubahan ukuran partikel batuan lapuk melalui uji Accelerated Slaking Test. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pengujian Accelerated Slaking Test melalui 5 siklus basah-kering (Wetting and Drying), dan pengujian X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). Sampel yang digunakan yaitu batuan lapuk di Kecamatan Lemong dan Kecamatan Pemancar (Kabupaten Pesisir Barat), Kecamatan Semaka (Kabupaten Tanggamus), Kecamatan Padang Cermin (Kabupaten Pesawaran), Kecamatan Teluk Betung (Kota Bandar Lampung), Kecamatan Bukit Kemuning (Kabupaten Lampung Utara), dan Kecamatan Poncowarno (Kabupaten Lampung Tengah). Berdasarkan pengujian Accelerated Slaking Test didapatkan batuan yang tahan terhadap Slaking secara berurutan yaitu batuan Lemong, Poncowarno (1), Teluk Betung Padang Cermin, Bukit Kemuning, Semaka (1), Pemancar, Poncowarno (2), dan Semaka (1). Ketahanan batuan terhadap Slaking dipengaruhi oleh jenis dan mineral penyusun batuan. Kata Kunci: Slaking, XRD, Accelerated Slaking Test, Wetting and Drying, Batuan Lapuk
Analisis Metode Aliran Permukaan Langsung (Direct Runoff) Sungai Way Besai Menggunakan Software HEC-HMS
The river is a gathering place for water in the surrounding environment which flows towards a lower place. Way Besai river is located in Sumberjaya sub-district, West Lampung district which has an area of 410.72 km2. Direct runoff needs to be carried out on the Way Besai river to determine the flood hydrograph that occurs in the Way Besai river. The HEC-HMS model is a numerical hydrological model developed by the Hydrologic Engineering Center (HEC) of the US Army Corps Of Engineers.The methods used in direct flow runoff in the HEC-HMS software are the SCS UH method, the Clark's UH method and the Snyder's UH method. The purpose of this research was to analyze the Way Besai river flood hydrograph by calculating direct runoff using these three methods. The results of this study indicate that the SCS UH method is the most suitable compared to Clark's UH method and Snyder's UH method because it produces the smallest deviation value. Evaluasi Data Curah Hujan BMKG dengan TRMM (Studi Kasus Stasiun BMKG di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung)
Indonesia merupakan negara dengan iklim tropis yang memiliki dua musim, musim kemarau dan musim hujan. Pengukuran curah hujan di Indonesia dilakukan oleh beberapa badan, salah satu diantaranya adalah Badan Meteorologi Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) dan juga TRMM NASA. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung nilai korelasi data curah hujan antara TRMM dan BMKG dengan mencari persamaan hubungan antar data dan menganalisis data curah hujannya. Data yang digunakan merupakan curah hujan harian dari tahun 1998-2012. Data dianalisis dalam bentuk data 7 harian, bulanan, dan tahunan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan jika data curah hujan yang diukur oleh TRMM memiliki kesamaan pola distribusi temporal curah hujan yang diukur oleh BMKG. Nilai korelasi antara data TRMM dan BMKG menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik jika menggunakan data bulanan, dimana nilai korelasi yang terbesar dari ketiga stasiun adalah,7281 di Stasiun Meteorologi H. Asan Hananjoedin dan yang terkecil adalah 0,5829 di Stasiun Meteorologi Depati Amir
Analysis Of Relationship Between Volume, Speed and Density Based On Greenshield and Greenberg Models A Case Study Of Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam and Imam Bonjol Bandar Lampung.
An urban area that has a function as a center of activity in an area certainly affects the high levelof community activity and indirectly causes a high number of movement of people, vehicles andgoods in urban areas.The ability to accommodate traffic flows depends on the physical conditionof a road, both in quality and quantity as well as on the operational characteristics of thetraffic.The purpose of this study is to analyze road characteristics and to determine therelationship between volume, speed and density on the Zainal Abidin Pagar Alam road and theImam Bonjol road in Bandar Lampung. This study uses the Greenshield and Greenberg modelsas a method. This method results that the relationship between velocity and density is linear sothat we can see how the pattern of the relationship between velocity, density and volume is. Theresults of this study obtained the free flow speed for Jalan ZA Pagar Alam for 55 km / hour andfor Jalan Imam Bonjol is 38 km / hour. The actual speed on Jalan ZA Pagar Alam is 28km / hourand on Jalan Imam Bonjol is 30km / hour. Meanwhile, the congestion density found on the ZAPagar Alam road is 931 cur / hour and on Jalan Imam Bonjol is 979 cur / hour. The mostoptimum model is in the Greenberg model for Jalan ZA Pagar Alam because the Greenbergmodel has a determination coefficient value (R2) which is closer to the highest accuracy of 0.98%and the Greenshield model on Jalan Imam Bonjol is because it has a determination coefficientvalue ( R2) which is closer to the highest accuracy of 0.96%
Penggunaan Pasir Seragam pada Perbaikan Subgrade Ditinjau Terhadap Tebal Perkerasan Jalan (Swelling Potential dan Non Swelling Potential)
Subgradeis the most important part to be used as the focus and support of all construction loads that are on it. If the subgrade is clay soil that has a low carrying capacity and is very sensitive to moisture content, then nearby buildings will often suffer damage, such as land located in Marga Kaya Village. In this study using the method of mixing native soil with stabilization material in the form of uniform sand derived from Mount Sugih with a mixture variation of 5%, 10% and 15% of the dry weight of the soil. The test results showed cbr unsoaked and soaked maximum occurred in sand mixture 15% with CBR Unsoaked value of 13.2% and CBR Soaked with a value of 2.9%. Road pavement thickness on CBR Unsoaked and Soaked efficiently on sand mixture 15% with thickness D1 = 2.75 cm, D2 = 20 and D3 = 10 cm, and CBR Soaked with thickness D1 = 8.75 cm, D2 = 20 cm and D3 = 10 cm. The value of swelling decreased from 11.4% to 7.4% in the addition of uniform sand by 15%. DDT value is influenced by cbr value the greater cbr value then DDT will increase
Pengaruh Penambahan Semen pada Tanah Lempung terhadap Parameter Konsolidasi dan Kecepatan Penurunan
Soil is a subgrade for basic building construction. While receiving the load, soil will settle, which take long time to complete for soft clays because of its low permeability. The problem that is caused by settlement as seen in Palembapang, Umbul Ligoh, South Lampung has low bearing capacity, this leads to cracks in the house walls, bumpy roads, and the settlement of the road constructions. One of the soil stabilization effort is addingcement as an additive material because it has very fine particles so that it can fill the soil pores and bond to the contact area between the soil grains and has a function as a strong binder. This work aimed to study the parameters of the compression index (Cc), coefficient of consolidation (Cv), consolidation settlement (Sc) and time of consolidation (t) due to soft clay mixing with cement as a soil stabilization material with percentage of 4%, 8% and 12%. Due to cement addition into soft clay, compaction with the standard proctor experienced a decrease the optimum moisture content (OMC) and an increase in the weight of maximum dry volume. In addition, in the consolidation test, the compression index (Cc) and consolidation settlement (Sc) decreased 7,95% and 5,44%, moreover the coefficient consolidation (Cv) increase 2,74% and the time of consolidation (t) were faster. Analisis Perubahan Kinerja Lalu Lintas Selama Masa New Normal Akibat Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi Kasus JL. R.A. Kartini)
The Covid-19 virus causes a decrease in the activity of transportation movements on the R.A. Kartini. As a result of the decrease in transportation movement, it can have a positive effect, namely the reduction of traffic jams on Jalan RA Kartini. In connection with the above problems, it is necessary to study the road performance of R.A. Kartini during the new normal period which can then be compared with the road performance of R.A. Kartini during normal times, in order to find out how much changes in traffic performance on R.A. Kartini due to Covid-19. Thus, this study aims to determine the road performance of R.A. Kartini in new normal condition and normal condition. The results of this study indicate that there has been a change in the level of road services on Jalan R.A. Kartini with road service level during normal condition class D becomes class B road service level when new normal condition.Key words: Road Performance, Degree of Saturation, Traffic Volume, Capacity
Evaluasi Kinerja Struktur Gedung Bertingkat Menggunakan Nonlinear Static Pushover Analysis dengan Capacity Spectrum Method (CSM) (Studi Kasus: Gedung B Rumah Sakit Umum Muhammadyah Metro)
AbstractIndonesia is an earthquake prone area. One of the efforts to anticipate these impacts is to meet the needs of earthquake-resistant buildings. The building must provide optimal performance. Therefore, we need an analysis of earthquake forces in this case pushover analysis. Pushover analysis is an analysis in which the influence of the design earthquake on the structure is considered as a static load that captures the center of mass of each floor.This research takes a case study in Muhammadyah Metro General Hospital Building (B). The purpose of this study to determine the performance point and building performance level using pushover analysis with the capacity spectrum method (CSM). The standard provisions used in this study refer to SNI 1727-2020, SNI 1726-2019, FEMA-440 (2005), and ATC-40 (1996).Based on the results, it can be concluded that this Building shows performance with a level of damage control . However, the structure of this building in the existing condition doesn’t meet the ideal collapse concept. Therefore, the partial ductile behavior of the building results in structural damage but doesn’t collapse. The earthquake has a probability of being exceeded during the life of the structure of 50 years is 10%. Salah satu upaya untuk mengantisipasi dampak tersebutadalahdengan memenuhi kebutuhan bangunan tahan gempa. Bangunan harus memberikan kinerja yang optimal. Maka dari itu, diperlukan suatu analisis gaya gempa dalam hal ini analisis pushover. Analisis pushover adalah analisis yang mana pengaruh gempa rencana pada struktur dianggap sebagai beban statik yang menangkap pada pusat massa masing-masing lantai.Penelitian ini mengambil studi kasus pada Gedung B Rumah Sakit Umum Muhammadyah Metro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui performance point dan kriteria level kinerja gedung menggunakan analisis pushover dengan capacity spectrum method (CSM). Adapun peraturan standar yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi SNI 1727-2020, SNI 1726-2019, FEMA-440 (2005), serta ATC-40 (1996).Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa Gedung menunjukkan kinerja damage control . Namun, struktur gedung ini pada kondisi eksisting tidak memenuhi konsep keruntuhan ideal. Dengan demikian, perilaku daktail parsial mengakibatkan kerusakan struktur tetapi tidak runtuh. Uji Pengaruh Kemiringan dan Tipe Pijakan (Tangga Sekat dan Vertical Pool Passes) pada Dasar Fishway terhadap Rasio Perpindahan Ikan Sidat (Anguilla bicolor, sp)
Bendung merupakan suatu bangunan sungai yang mempunyai peranan penting bagi kehidupan. Dalam pembangunan suatu bendung, harus memperhatikan keseimbangan ekosistem yang ada agar ekosistem tetap terjaga, salah satunya dengan cara membangun bangunan pelengkap sungai berupa tangga ikan (fishway). Untuk mengetahui efisiensi bentuk fishway yang dapat dibangun, pada penelitian ini dilakukan percobaan dengan menggunakan ikan sidat (Anguilla bicolor, sp) yang kemudian akan dilakukan pengujian pada alat fishway dengan kemiringan dan dua tipe pijakan yang berbeda, yaitu tangga sekat dan vertical pool passes yang kemudian akan dibandingkan dengan tipe pijakan pipa PVC yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian sebelumnya. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, terjadi penurunan rasio aktivitas seiring bertambahnya sudut kemiringan pada fishway dan diperoleh nilai rasio tertinggi pada percobaan dengan sudut kemiringan 25° dengan rasio sebesar 4,40 untuk tipe pijakan tangga sekat dan 3,72 untuk tipe pijakan vertical pool passes. Sedangkan jika dibandingkan antara tipe pijakan tangga sekat, vertical pool passes dan pipa PVC diperoleh nilai rasio tertinggi yaitu pada penggunaan pipa PVC 0,5 inch dengan rasio sebesar 4,50
Potensi Penyediaan Air Bersih Berkelanjutan melalui Pemanenan Air Hujan (Studi Kasus Pulau Pasaran Kecamatan Teluk Betung Timur Kota Bandarlampung)
The people of Pasaran Island, Kota Karang Village, Teluk Betung Timur District, Bandar Lampung City in their daily activities rely on clean water distributed by PDAM Way Rilau with a relatively small discharge. Population growth every year will increase the amount of water demand. This study aims to determine the potential of harvesting rainwater as an alternative to fulfill water sources on Pasaran Island. In this study, projection calculations, spatial analysis, hydrological analysis calculations, and water quality laboratory tests were carried out. The calculation results show that the water needs of the people of Pasaran Island in 2030 are 230,75 m3/day with the potential for rainwater that can be accommodated at 5.477,76 m3/day. The quality of rainwater on Pasaran Island has met the quality standards based on the Regulation of the Minister of RI Number 416/MENKES/PER/IX/1990. So that it shows that rainwater on Pasaran Island has the potential to be used as an alternative to fulfill the community's clean water
