Analysis of the Effectivenesss of Bicycle Lanes in Metro City
AbstractBicycles are an sustainable mode of transportation because they do not produce exhaust gas. Motor vehicle exhaust gas is one of the causes of global warming. The bicycle lane facilities in Metro City aim to get Metro City as an friendly city to cyclists. This study aims to find out the level of effectiveness of bicycle lanes in Metro City. The research methods used for the effectiveness of bicycle lanes are the BCI (Bicycle Compatibility Index) method which refers to the reference (Harkey et al., 1998), the BLOS (Bicycle Level Of Service) method which refers to the reference (Sprinkle Consulting Inc., 2007) and the Guttman method which refers to the reference (Guttman, 1944). The BCI and BLOS model methods result for bicycle lanes in metro city on average get a C rating which means the road conditions are quite suitable (quite safe and comfortable) for cyclists. The obtained of C rank is inseparable from the high volume of traffic and inadequate road body width in some roads. Guttman's method for bike lanes in Metro City resulted in a percentage of 55,55% which means it is suitable for use. Although it is appropriate, but there is still something that needs to be improved on the facilities and there needs to be a policy related to the use of bicycles and bicycle lanes.Keywords: effectiveness, bicycle lane, Metro City, Bicycle Compatibility Index, Bicycle Level of Service, Guttma
Performance Method of Maximum Daily Rainfall Frequency Analysis Using Correlation
Rainfall in Bandar Lampung has a different distribution value for each station which is calculated to carry out the annual maximum daily rain forecast required in road planning, water building and drainage. Getting rain distribution values requires a method that meets the requirements of Cs, Ck and Cv. But this study reviews methods that have a correlation value close to the value of one. In this study, a validation test was carried out in advance to normalize values> 500 mm which were then calculated through the Normal, Log Normal, Gumbel and Log Pearson III methods. Look at the correlation value of each method with a scatter diagram. Analysis of the calculation of the rain distribution method at the Sukarame rain station (PH-003) Log Normal method has a value of 0.96 which has a correlation coefficient value that is closest to the value of 1 (one) among the other methods in all rain stations. Log Normal method has the best average correlation value that is 0.85 then the Normal method has a mean correlation value of 0.74 followed by Log Pearson III method with an average correlation value of 0.35 and the mean correlation value of the Gumbel method -0.01. The correlation value obtained using the Log Normal method is seen both at Sumberejo, Sukarame and Pahoman stations. However, at the Sumur Putri station the value of the Log Pearson III correlation, with the normal log method, the data correlation value is the best because the data fluctuations are close to the value of 1 compared to other methods. Analysis of Slope Stability and Handling Methods on the Sand Clay (In Case : Sta 208+00 Double Track Train Martapura – Baturaja)
There are several factors that effect the level security of a slope. Such as the condition of a slope with large loads, steep slope and heavy rain condition. The landslide and slope would often occurs on some double track lines on Martapura – Baturaja train because of this things. Therefor, the reinforcement is needed so that the slope is more stable around the slope. The results of physical and mechanical properties of the soil are based on the results of laboratory tests and research in the field. so the PLAXIS program was used in analyzing the stability of the existing slope based on the data. From the results of the program calculation shows that the condition of the slope is not stable. because the safety value indicates 0,89 for saturated conditions and 0,67 for dry conditions and 0,91 for partially saturated conditions. Furthermore, slope stability analysis who was reinforced by a combination of soil retaining wall and borepile. there has been an increase in safety value of 1,30 for saturated conditions, 1,66 for dry conditions and 1,65 for partially saturated conditions. Pengaruh Penambahan Serat Baja dan Serat Polypropylene Terhadap Kuat Tekan dan Kuat Lentur Beton
Beton memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan, kekurangan beton tidak dapat menahan tarik. Kekurangan ini dapat diatasi dengan menambahkan serat ke dalam beton sebagai tulangan mikro yang tersebar secara acak dalam beton. Penambahan serat bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kekuatan tarik pada beton. Pada penelitian ini, sifat mekanik yang diteliti ialah kuat tekan dan kuat lentur beton, sedangkan serat yang digunakan yaitu serat baja dan serat polypropylene. Benda uji kuat tekan berupa kubus dengan dimensi 15x15x15 cm, benda uji kuat lentur berupa balok dengan dimensi 40x10x10 cm. Variasi serat baja terdiri dari (0%; 0,5%; 1%; 1,5%) dan serat polypropylene terdiri dari (0%; 0,05%; 0,1%; 0,15%). Serat tersebut dicampurkan ke dalam beton dengan mengombinasikanserat baja dan serat polypropylene. Kuat tekan beton rencana yaitu (f’c) 25 MPa, pengujian dilakukan setelah 28 hari. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian penambahan serat baja meningkatkan kuat tekan beton pada volume fraction optimal yaitu 1% dan meningkatkan kuat lentur beton seiring bertambahnya volume fraction. Penambahan serat polypropylene meningkatkan kuat tekan beton seiring bertambahnya volume fraction dan tidak mempengaruhi kuat lentur beton
Analisis Elemen Hingga pada Balok Beton Bertulang dengan Perkuatan Wiremesh
Penelitian ini membahas pemodelan balok beton bertulang yang diperkuat material wiremesh, yang dianalisis menggunakan finite element analysis (FEA) software. Pemodelan yang dilakukan mengacu pada studi eksperimental terdahulu. Balok yang dimodelkan hanya seperempat bagian untuk mempercepat proses analisis. Interaksi antara beton dan tulangan dimodelkan sebagai embedded region dan interaksi antara beton dan material wiremesh dimodelkan sebagai tie constraint. Persentase selisih antara pemodelan dan studi eksperimental untuk balok tanpa perkuatan adalah 0,76% untuk lendutan, 10,88% untuk regangan beton bagian atas, dan 13,70% untuk regangan beton bagian samping. Persentase selisih antara pemodelan dan studi eksperimental untuk balok dengan perkuatan wiremesh adalah 18,47% untuk lendutan, 2,09% untuk regangan beton bagian atas, dan untuk 1,93% regangan beton bagian samping. Adanya perbedaan nilai lendutan dan regangan secara umum disebabkan olehinteraksi antar permukaan komponen pada pemodelan dimodelkan terikat sempurna dan material beton pada pemodelan bersifat homogen
Studi Long Storage Sebagai Upaya Mengatasi Kekeringan Di Daerah Cinta Manis Sumatera Selatan
This study aims to conduct a long storage study as an effort to overcome drought in the Cinta Manis area, South Sumatra. The research data used is the maximum daily rainfall data from 2009 - 2018 which was obtained from the Palembang Climatological Rain Station. From the research results obtained hydrological analysis data and hydraulic analysis. For hydrological analysis, statistical parameter methods are used to determine the planned rainfall. The results of this method were analyzed in harmony with the Chi Square test and the Smirnov-Kolmogorov test and the distribution type used was the Log Pearson III distribution. To calculate the water holding capacity in long storage, the cumulative storage volume analysis is used to analyze the volume that is bounded by a certain contour, with a simple formula published by the Manual of Sediment Control Dam Construction of the Ministry of Public Works. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the potential for long storage storage obtained from rainwater is 95771.18 m³ and water storage capacity in long storage which is 137334.43 m³ is able to serve 40.87 ha. The water storage capacity in long storage is able to irrigate the sugarcane fields in Rayon 1B and as a storage place for water reserves so that there is no drought when the dry season arrives.Keywords: long storage, rain, analysi
Analisis Pemilihan Moda Transportasi Penumpang Antara Kereta Api dan Bus Rute Bandar Lampung – Palembang dengan Metode Discrete Choice Model
Choosing the right mode of transportation is something that passengers want, but with the advantages and disadvantages of existing transportation modes can affect the number of users of these modes of transportation. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors and probability of choosing the mode of passenger transportation between trains and buses with the Bandar Lampung - Palembang route. The method used in this research is the Discrete Choice Model method, with the analysis used is linear regression analysis of the two models used, namely the difference binary logit model and the binary logit ratio. Based on the research results, the probability value from the bus mode selection analysis is known if the value (∆C) = 0, the probability value with the binary logit model is the difference = 35%, and if the value (∆C) = 100000 then the probability value increases to 41%. Meanwhile, if (C1 / C2) = 0.1, then the probability value with the binary logit model ratio = 58%, and if the value (C1 / C2) = 1 then the probability value increases to 35%. From the results of the analysis carried out, the dominant factors influence the choice of mode of transportation by route Bandar Lampung - Palembang is the cost of transportation cheap, and comfort level of service.Keywords : modal choice, binary logit, discrete choice model, probabilit
Analisis Perbandingan Pola Aliran Pada Bangunan Pelimpah Ogee Dan Stepped Dengan Model Fisik 2D
A spillway building is usually a structure followed by a steep channel. Flow velocity is very dependent on the slope of the bottom channel which causes super critical flow. Besides being fast, the flow in a steep channel also has a considerable energy, so it must be able to be suppressed. The energy reduction in this study was attempted with a stepped spillway. Step weir is a modification of the standard profile for Ogee type weir. This is the background of the author in taking the title of the thesis about Comparative Analysis of Flow Patterns in Ogee and Stepped Overflow Buildings with 2-D Physical Models. The results of this study indicate that the results of the energy line height at the H3 (downstream overflow) point at the upstream height of 3 cm for Ogee are 2.68 cm, and for stepped it is 2.31 cm. There was a decrease in energy by 13.80%. This shows that the stepped spillway can absorb energy better than the Ogee type. The results of observing the flow pattern on the stepped spillway for each increase in the flow rate that overflow in the spillway can be concluded that the flow pattern that occurs is a transition flow to a skimming flow. Analisis Pengaruh Kemiringan dan Bentuk Dasar Fishway Terhadap Rasio Perpindahan Sidat (Anguilla bicolor, sp)
The construction of a transverse structure on a river such as a dam and weir needs to pay attention to environmental factors and the surrounding ecosystem, especially for the ecosystem in the river. Therefore, it is necessary to build a fishway or fish in the transverse river structure so that the river ecosystem which has migration characteristics from upstream to downstream or vice versa is not disturbed because the migration route is blocked. This is the background of the author in taking the title of the thesis Analysis of the Effect of Slope and Basic Shape of Fishway on the Eel Movement Ratio (Anguilla bicolor, sp). The results of this study indicate that eels are nocturnal or active at night. Eel activity most often occurs at a fishway angle of 30 ° by testing using a 0.5 inch pvc pipe foothold type, while the lowest activity occurs at a 35 ° fishway tilt angle by testing using a 1 inch pvc pipe foothold type. The most effective slope based on the test results is at a slope angle of 30 ° but for a slope of 50 ° it can still be said to be effective because the activity ratio shows almost double the activity. Analisis Data Curah Hujan yang Hilang dengan Menggunakan Metode Normal Ratio, Inversed Square Distance, Rata - Rata Aljabar dan Metode Modifikasi
Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menghitung korelasi data curah hujan terukur dengan data curah hujan hasil perhitungan dengan masing-masing metode menggunakan lima stasiun.Dari hasil penilitian menggunakan metode Rata-Rata Aljabar, metode Normal Ratio, metode Inversed Square Distance dan metode Modifikasi dengan data hujan harian satu tahun, data hujan kumulatif bulanan, maupun data hujan rata-rata bulanan, dapat diambil kesimpulan semakin banyak jumlah stasiun maka semakin baik nilai korelasinya. Nilai korelasi dengan data hujan kumulatif bulanan sertadata hujan rata-rata bulanan menggunakan beberapa jumlah stasiun yang berbeda setiap masing - masing metode tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan dengan nilai rata-rata korelasi persentase perbedaannya 0,049% sampai dengan 0,059%
