KUALITAS PERAIRAN MANGROVE DI CIASEM PAMANUKAN, KABUPATEN SUBANG, JAWA BARAT
This study aimed to evaluate the water quality of mangrove ecosystem indegraded mangrove forest areas, either already or not rehabilitated. The research was conducted at the Ciasem protected forest areas, BKPH Ciasem Pamanukan (RPH Poponcol, RPH Bobos, and Tegal Tangkil RPH), Subang regency, West Java province. Observations and measurements of mangrove stands were performed using line transect and sample plots method (Line Transect Plot). Substrate and water samples were taken and analyzed in the laboratory. The results showed that the mangrove ecosystem in Subang was dominated by Avicennia sp and Rhizophora sp. Avicennia more adaptive to the shallow water, while Rhizophora more adaptive to an area closer or direct contact with the sea. Water quality conditions at the three locations were quite varied and still within the quality standard range for mangrove waters, except the BOD and DO parameters that need to be recovered because they out of the standard. Fertility conditions (physics and chemistry) of sediment (substrate) were generally in good condition for plant growth

PENERAPAN METODA FUZZY DALAM KLASIFIKASI LAHAN KRITIS BERBASIS HYDRAULIC RESPONSE UNIT (HRU) SUBDAS CISANGKUY
Various natural disasters, such as floods and landslides, are often associated with extreme weather conditions, especially rainfall, where in fact the possibility of such a disaster will be smaller if the carrying capacity of the land is still good. The decrease of land carrying capacity is often due to land use change, so that the land is not capable to perform it functions and is categorized as critical land. The decline in land carrying capacity will affect other resources, especially water resources. Anticipatory measures of natural disasters such as floods and landslides can perfectly prepared if information regarding land conditions, including land criticality, are available in detail and up to date. The classification and mapping of land criticality becomes an important component in the preparation of land rehabilitation and natural disaster prevention plans including setting the priority actions. The Minister of Forestry Regulation no P.32 / Menhut-II / 2009 concerning Procedures for Preparation of Forest and Watershed Technical Rehabilitation Plan was use as criteria for land classification and both Fuzzy and Crisp calculation methods were applied to calculate the final score. Different classification result was found in 23 HURL and comparing to actual the condition, the Fuzzy method gives more accurate result than Crisp method
POTENSI BAHAYA BAGI KESELAMATAN PENGUNJUNG DI KAWASAN WISATA PANTAI PANGANDARAN KABUPATEN PANGANDARAN JAWA BARAT
Pangandaran Beach Tourism Area is one of leading tourism areas in West Java. During certain period of time, hazard has often cause accidents toward visitors in the area. Therefore, there is a need to identify physical and biological hazards which threaten visitors’ safety in order to develop visitor safety management. Research was carried out in June – July 2011, and an update was conducted in January – February 2017, which covered three locations, i.e. Pantai Barat, Pantai Timur, and Pantai Pasir Putih. Field observation, interview with visitors, community and lifeguard, and literature review were employed in data collection. A hundred respondents for each visitor and community was selected using convenient sampling method. The result found rip current, plunging wave, tsunami, earthquake, wave, and tide as physical hazard, while jellyfish, sea snake, sea urchin, lionfish, and stone fish as biological hazard found in the sea, and long-tailed macaque as terrestrial biological hazard. Rip current possessed substantial risk that had to be avoided through the establishment of swimming prohibition area. Visitor’s safety management technique option for rip current hazard involved a socialization toward visitors about self-rescue technique in case they are swept by rip current
Life Cycle assessment of vehicle fuels on production proccess in refinery field
Indonesia as one of the developing countries has a high dependence on petroleum fuels derived from petroleum refinery as the main energy source. the use of foil in Indonesia is dominated to meet the needs of transportation vehicles. Fuel oil as a source of energy into the spotlight in the world lately because of the impact of environmental degradation that arise from the utilization. The industrial activity of fuel oil production in refineries is inseparable from the environmental impacts. The oil processing process at the refinery is the second highest emission contributor after the use of fuel oil itself during its product life cycle. In this research LCA analysis is conducted for the production of gasoline (bensin) and gasoil (diesel) vehicle fuels during processing at the refinery to compare the environmental impact of each type of fuel. From the result of LCA analysis, it is known that from two types of vehicle fuel, to produce 1 kilo litter of gasoline (bensin) type more energy and produce higher emission compared to diesel type gas (gasoil) fuel production. The gasoline fuel produced in the platformer unit is the product that has the highest emission contribution in its production process with greenhouse gas emissions of 1 Ton CO-2eq and the acid gas emissions of 0.001 Ton SO-2eq per 1 kilo litter of the resulting product

The chemical and physical soil properties, elevation and climate properties affect differences of sweetness quality of Cilembu sweet potato on different cultivation locations
ANALISIS CURAH HUJAN DAN DEBIT MODEL SWAT DENGAN METODE MOVING AVERAGE DI DAS CILIWUNG HULU
Watershed can be regarded as a hydrological system that has a function in transforming rainwater as an input into outputs such as flow and sediment. The transformation of inputs into outputs has specific forms and properties. The transformation involves many processes, including processes occurred on the surface of the land, river basins, in soil and aquifer. This study aimed to apply the SWAT model in Ciliwung Hulu Watershed, asses the effect of average rainfall on 3 days, 5 days, 7 days and 10 days of the hydrological characteristics in Ciliwung Hulu Watershed. The correlation coefficient (r) between rainfall and discharge was positive, it indicated that there was an unidirectional relationship between rainfall and discharge in the upstream, midstream and downstream of the watershed. The upper limit ratio of discharge had a downward trend from upstream to downstream, while the lower limit ratio of discharge had an upward trend from upstream to downstream. It showed that the discharge peak in Ciliwung Hulu Watershed from upstream to downstream had a downward trend while the baseflow from upstream to downstream had an upward trend. It showed that the upstream of Ciliwung Hulu Watershed had the highest ratio of discharge peak and baseflow so it needs the soil and water conservations and technical civil measures. The discussion concluded that the SWAT model could be well applied in Ciliwung Hulu Watershed, the most affecting average rainfall on the hydrological characteristics was the average rainfall of 10 days. On average rainfall of 10 days, all components had contributed maximally for river discharge
