PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis was quasi experimental research that aimed to investigate the influence of cooperative learning model of think pair share type towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. Posttest only control group design was used as the design of this research. The population of this research was all students of 8th grade of Junior High School State 7 Bandarlampung in academic year 2012/2013 except students of excellent class. The sample of this research were two class which chosen from eight class by purposive random sampling technique. Based on the result of this research, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model of think pair share type influences towards students’ mathematical conceptual understanding of 8th grade of Junior High School State 7 Bandarlampung in academic year 2012/2013.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah posttest only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang tidak berada pada kelas unggulan. Sampel penelitian dipilih dua kelas dari delapan kelas dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep, pengaruh, TP
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN MISSOURI MATHEMATICS PROJECT TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis research was a quasi experimental research that aimed to find out the influence of Missouri Mathematics Project towards students understanding of mathematical concepts. Missouri Mathematics Project is a learning model that designed to help students more easy to understand the material. The population was all students of grade VIII of Junior High School State 2 Bangunrejo in academic years 2012/2013 that consist of 183 students and distributed into five classes. The samples were students of VIII.A and VIII.D class that determined by purposive sampling technique. The design was posttest only control group design. Based on the research, it was concluded that Missouri Mathematics Project influences mathematical conceptual understanding of students of grade VIII of junior high school state 2 Bangunrejo in academic years 2012/2013 in planometry concepts.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Missouri Mathematics Project terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Missouri Mathematics Project adalah suatu model pembelajaran yang didesain untuk membantu siswa lebih mudah memahami materi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Bangunrejo tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang berjumlah 183 siswa dan terdistribusi ke dalam lima kelas. Sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VIII.A dan VIII.D yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Pengaruh Penerapan Strategi Pembelajaran SQ4R Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
Get PDFThis research aims to find influence of the implementation SQ4R learning strategy towards students’s understanding of mathematical concept. It was quasi experiment and the design of the research was posstest only control group design. The population in this research were the first year students of SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2012/2013 who generally had the same cognitive ability. The sample are class X.4 and X.6 which were choosen by purposive random sampling technique. Based on hypothesis test by using a nonparametric statistical test at level of significant 5% , student’s mathematical conceptual understanding at class using SQ4R learning strategy is not different with that of using conventional learning, it showed that SQ4R learning strategy has not influence towards understanding about mathematical concept of first year students of SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung at even semester in the academic year 2012/2013.Keywords: Influence, SQ4R learning strategy, Understanding of mathematical concept
PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN TUTOR SEBAYA TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis is a quasi-experimental research aimed to know about the influence of peer tutoring learning model towards student’s understanding of mathematical conceptual. Peer tutoring learning model is one of the learning model that was developed to help students who have learning difficulty by another students who have high ability for understanding the topic.The research uses posttest only control group design. The population was all eleventh grade students of SMAN 2 in Tumijajar Tulangbawang Barat District in the academic year 2012/2013. Sample was all students from two class which selected by random purposive sampling. Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded that peer tutoring learning affects student’s understanding of mathematical conceptual of eleventh grade in state senior high school 1 in Tumijajar Tulangbawang Barat District in academic year 2012/2013. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran tutor sebaya terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Model pembelajaran tutor sebaya adalah salah satu model yang dikembangkan untuk membantu siswa yang mengalami kesulitan belajar dengan memanfaatkan siswa lain yang mempunyai kemampuan lebih dalam memahami suatu pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control group design, dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 2 Tumijajar Kabupaten Tulangbawang Barat tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa pada dua kelas dari tiga kelas yang dipilih dengan purposive random sampling. The population is all eight grade students of even semester of junior high school state 12 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2012/2013 that consists of 285 students and distributed into nine classes. The sample is the students in VIII C and VIII D class that are obtained by purposive sampling technique. The design of research is posttest only control group. The instrument is essay test to ressure student’s mathematical problem solving ability. Based on the analysis, it is concluded that cooperative learning model of CORE type influences towards student’s mathematical problem solving ability in eighth grade students of junior high school state 12 Bandar Lampung in academic years 2012/2013.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CORE terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 12 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 sebanyak 285 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam 9 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.C dan kelas VIII.D yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control group design. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang berbentuk essay. EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi-experimental research aims to find out the effectiveness of Jigsaw cooperative learning model considered by student’s mathematical problem solving ability. The population of this research is eighth grade students in second semester of Junior High School State 13 Bandar Lampung in 2012/2013 academic years and as the samples are VIII.A and VIII.C, that are selected from eleven classes by using purposive sampling technique. Based on the analysis of the student’s mathematical problem solving ability, it is known that the ability of student’s mathematical problem solving with Jigsaw cooperative learning model is better than the ability of student’s mathematical problem solving with conventional learning, and also 65% or more students who are taught by Jigsaw cooperative learning model have achieved KKM. The conclusion from this research is Jigsaw cooperative learning model effective considered by student’s mathematical problem solving ability in eighth grade students of even semester Junior High School State 13 Bandar Lampung in 2012/2013 academic years. EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD DITINJAU DARI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SIWA
Get PDFThis quasi experimentalresearch aims to knowthe effectivenes of cooperative learning of Student Teams Achievement Division(STAD) type considered by student’s mathematicalconceptual understanding. This reseach uses apretest-posttest control groupdesign. The population ofthis research was eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in the academic year2012/2013 as many as 320 students who distributed into nine classes. Sample was taken by purposive sampling. Based on data analysis, it was gotten that gain of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding of in cooperative learning of STAD type was as same as conventional learning, and also the study completeness percentage in cooperative learning of STAD type doesn’t reach the target. The conclusion was cooperative learning STAD type was not effective considered by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif tipeStudent Teams Achievement Division (STAD) ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi dalam pene-itian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 sebanyak 320 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam sembilan kelas. Sampelpenelitian diambilmenggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD sama dengan peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa pada pembelajaran konvensionaldanpersentase ketuntasan belajar siswa pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD tidak mencapai target. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD tidak efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata Kunci : efektivitas, pemahaman konsep matematis, STA
PEMBELAJARAN SOCRATES DENGAN PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL TERHADAP PROSES BELAJAR DAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS
Get PDFThis descriptive research aimed to describe learning process and the critical thinking skills of students that using Socratic learning with contextual approach. Subjects of this research were students of XI IPA 2, State Senior High School 9 of Bandarlampung in odd semester academic year 2012/2013 that consisted of 31 students. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that students' critical thinking skills belong to good criteria. It shown from the average student learning outcomes at 81.55 from 31 students. During the learning process, it was known that Socrates contextual learning can lead students to be more active and daring to voice their opinions. Thus, based on the results of the analysis of data, it can be concluded that, generally, students who active during the socratic learning have better results than students who less active.Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses belajar dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran Socrates dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 9 Bandarlampung semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 yang terdiri dari 31 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa tergolong ke dalam kriteria baik. Hal ini terlihat dari rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 81.55 dari 31 siswa. Selama proses pembelajaran diketahui bahwa pembelajaran Socrates kontekstual dapat memacu siswa untuk lebih aktif dan berani mengutarakan pendapatnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa, secara umum siswa yang aktif saat pembelajaran menggunakan model pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual menunjukan hasil yang cenderung lebih baik daripada siswa yang kurang aktif.Kata Kunci: kemampuan berpikir kritis, model pembelajaran socrates, pendekatan kontekstua

No full textThis quasi-experimental research aims for knowing the effectiveness of the imple-mentation of cooperative learning model type Teams Games Tournament (TGT) with convensional learning towards student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The research design is posttets only control group design. The research population was all student of 7th grade class even semester of SMPN 22 Bandar Lampung academic year 2012/2013 and the sample of this research are class VII-C and VII-D that choosen randomly from seven classes. Based on the data analysis, it is found that student’s mathematical conceptual understanding avera-ge and student’s learning completeness in cooperative learning model type TGT is higher than conventional learning. The conclusion is cooperative learning model type TGT is more effective than conventiona learning towards student’s mathe-matical conceptual understanding.
