EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT DITINJAU DARI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFNumbered Head Together (NHT) is a learning model that consists of four stages, namely numbering, asking questions, thinking together, and giving answers. NHT engages students actively and responsibly in understanding the subject material individually or groups.This quasi experimental research’s purpose was to find the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of NHT type viewed by comprehension of mathematical concepts of students. Population was all students of 8th grade of SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung. Through purposive sampling technique was obtained students of VIII-D as the control class and VIII-E as the experiment class. The research data was obtained by the comprehension of mathematical concepts test. Based on the analysis using t test, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of NHT type is effective viewed by comprehension of mathematical concepts of student of 8th grade of SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2012/2013.Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT merupakan model pembelajaran secara berkelompok yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu penomoran, pengajuan pertanyaan, berfikir bersama, dan pemberian jawaban. NHT melibatkan siswa secara aktif dan bertanggung jawab dalam memahami materi pelajaran baik secara individu maupun kelompok. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII D sebagai kelas kontrol dan siswa kelas VIII E sebagai kelas eksperimen yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji-t dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Kata kunci: efektivitas, NHT, pemahaman konsep matemati
PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA
Get PDFThe mathematics achievement of students at VIII-K class SMP Negeri 1 Natar are very low. It is based on the data of values of the final exam in semester 2012/2013. The percentage of students who get value ≥ 65 only 25% of 32 students. Student’s learning activities are also low. It is caused by the implementation of traditional learning model. The implementation of cooperative learning model of TGT type hopefully able to improve student’s activities and achievement. This study was conducted in three cycles, each cycle includes: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Techniques of data collection are obsevation and test. Based on the data analysis, the implementation of cooperative learning model of TGT type can increase the activities and achievement of students of VIII-K class SMP Negeri 1 Natar South Lampung in odd semester academic year 2013/2013.Prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII-K SMP Negeri I Natar sangat rendah. Hal ini berdasarkan pada data nilai ujian akhir pada semester ganjil tahun 2012/2013. Persentase siswa tuntas belajar (memperoleh nilai ≥ 65) hanya 25% dari 32 siswa. Aktivitas belajar siswa juga masih rendah. Salah satu penyebab dari kedua masalah tersebut adalah selama ini masih menerapkan model pembelajaran tradisional. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus, kegiatan setiap siklus meliputi: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian ini diketahui bahwa terjadi peningkatan. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII-K SMP Negeri 1 Natar Lampung Selatan semester genap tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Kata kunci: aktivitas, prestasi belajar, team games tourname

This quasi-experimental study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of cooperative learning model type two stay two stray in terms of students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The population of this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Ketapang school year 2012/2013. The research sample is student of class X.1 as experiment class and X.3 grade students as the control classes by cluster random sampling technique. PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis was a quasi-experimental research that aimed to know about the influence of cooperative learning model of jigsaw type towards student’s conceptual understanding of mathematics. This research used a posttest only control design. The population was the grade seven students of Junior High School state 20 of Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2012/2013 as many as 217 students who distributed into six classes. Samples were students of VIID and VIIE class that chosen by purposive sampling technique. The data was value of conceptual understanding of mathematics which obtained by test. Based on the results of hypothesis test, conceptual understanding of mathematics of students who taught by the cooperative learning model of jigsaw type was better than conventional learning. It can be concluded that cooperative learning model of jigsaw type influenced conceptual understanding of mathematics of grade seven students of Junior High School state 20 of Bandar Lampung academic year of 2012/2013.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 sebanyak 217 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam enam kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIID dan kelas VIIE yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian berupa nilai pemahaman konsep matematis yang diperoleh melalui tes. Hasil uji hipotesis, pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajran kooperatif tipe jigsaw lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional. Penerapan Model Numbered Head Together dalam Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
Get PDFThe objective of this quasi experimental research was to find out the implementation of learning model Number Head Together in improving students’ comprehension of mathematical concept. The research design that used was pretest-posttest control design. The population of this research was all students in the eighth grade of odd semester SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandarlampung 2012/2013 year study and the sample of this research was gotten by choosing two classes from four classes randomly, that was class VIII A and VIII B. The data of students’ comprehension of mathematical concept was analyzed by using two average similarity experiments. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type NHT could improve the students’ comprehension of mathematical concept in the eighth grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandarlampung.Key words: NHT learning Model, Comprehension of Mathematical Concep

The Design research used posttest control group design. The population of this research were all students in 7th grade of Junior High School State I Ter-banggi Besar in the Academic Year 2012 /2013. The sample were VII B as experiment class and VII A as control class that were chossen by Purposive sampling. Base on data analysis, it was conclude that the average of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding in class that was tought by Make A Match method was higher than in conventional class. PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN AUDIOVISUAL TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA SISWA
Get PDFThe purpose of this research was to find out the influence of audiovisual learning towards student's comprehension of mathematical concept. This research used post-test only control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade XI, Buildings Majors SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2012/2013. The samples were all students of XI TBB (Teknik Batu Beton) as experimental class, and XI TKK (Teknik Konstruksi Kayu) as control class which chosen by purposive sampling technique. Based on the hypothesis test, student's comprehension of mathematical concept which following the audiovisual learning was higher than the student's comprehension of mathematical concept which following conventional learning and study completeness that use the audiovisual learning was less than 70 %. It can be concluded that audiovisual learning does not influence the student's comprehension of mathematical concept.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran audiovisual terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah post-test only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI Jurusan Bangunan SMK Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TBB (Teknik Batu Beton) sebagai kelas eksperimen dan siswa kelas XI TKK (Teknik Konstruksi Kayu) sebagai kelas kontrol yang dipilih mengunakan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis diketahui bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran audiovisual lebih tinggi daripada pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional dan ketuntasan belajar yang menggunakan pembelajaran audiovisual kurang dari 70%. Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of problem solving learning model observed from mathematics problem solving ability of the students at first grade of SMPN 13 Bandar Lampung. Problem solving learning model is a learning model which includes the steps of understanding problem, planning of solving, problem solving and recheck the correctness of the problem. The design used in this research ispretest-posttest control design. The population of this research are all students of even semester at first grade of SMPN 13 Bandar Lampung 2012/2013. The samples of the research are students of VII B and VII C class which are taken randomly. The research data was gained from the mathematics problem solving ability test. The data was analyzed by using t-test. The design of this research uses posttest only control group design. The population of this research are all tenth grade students of Senior High School State 5 Bandar Lampung in Academic Years 2012/2013. The sample of this research are X7 and X5 that is determined by purposive sampling technique. The data research is quantitative data of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding that is aqcuired by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding test.
