EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT DITINJAU DARI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of cooperative learning of TGT type viewed by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The population of this research was grade 7th students of junior high school state of 8 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014. The samples of this research were students of VII-E and VII-F class that were determined by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was post-test only control design. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of TGT type was ineffective viewed by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding of grade 7th students of junior high school state of 8 Bandarlampung in academic years of 2013/2014.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 8 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-E dan VII F yang ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT tidak efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMPN 8 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of problem based learning towards mathematical conceptual understanding. The design of this research was post-test only control design. This research population was all students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung in the academic year of 2013/2014 which was distributed into 7 classes. This research samples were students of VIII.D and VIII.G class. Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded that the students’ mathematical conceptual understanding in problem based learning was higher than students’ mathematical conceptual understanding in conventional learning. Thus, the implementation of the problem based learning had influence towards mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi ke dalam 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.D dan VIII.G. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah lebih tinggi dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran konvensional. PENERAPAN PBM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS DAN SELF-ESTEEM SISWA
Get PDFThis research aimed to know the increasing of student’s mathematical problem solving skill and self-esteem which was taught by problem based learning as compared to the conventional learning. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 5 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that distributed into ten classes. The samples were students of VIIIA and VIIIB class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical problem solving skill and self-esteem scale. The conclusion of this research was the problem based learning could increase the student’s mathematical problem solving skill, but not increase the student’s self-esteem.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan self-esteem siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran berbasis masalah dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 5 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam sepuluh kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIA dan VIIIB yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan skala self-esteem. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah PBM dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa, tetapi tidak meningkatkan self-esteem siswa.Kata kunci: pembelajaran berbasis masalah, pemecahan masalah matematis, self-estee

PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK TALK WRITE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS
Get PDFThis research aimed to investigate whether there is an effect of the implementation of cooperative learning model of think talk write type on students’ mathematical communication skill. This research population was all students of grade 10th of SMAN 13 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into 7 classes. This research samples were students of X6 and X7 class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. This research design was posttest only. The research data were score of students’ mathematical communication skill. The result of data analysis showed that students’ mathematical communication skill in cooperative learning model of think talk write type was higher than conventional learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that there was an effect of the implementation of cooperative learning model of think talk write type on students’ mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 13 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi ke dalam 7 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X6 dan X7, yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian adalah posttest only. Data penelitian adalah skor kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW lebih tinggi daripada model pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: komunikasi matematis, konvensional, TT

The design of this research was pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was grade 8th students of SMPN 1 Pringsewu in academic year of 2013 / 2014. The samples of this research were students of VIII.4 and VIII.6 class, who were taken by purposive random sampling techniques. Based on the data analysis,it was found that student’s mathematical representation skill who followed by cooperative learning model of TPS type was higher than direct learning. Thus,it could be concluded that cooperative learning model of TPS type affect towards the increasing of the student’s mathematical representation skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS terhadap peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 1 Pringsewu tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Based on the analysis of data, the cooperative learning model of TPS type was ineffective viewed by understanding of mathematical concepts of students.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran TPS ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 20 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 262 siswa dan terdistribusi dalam 7 kelas. Desain dalam penelitian ini adalah pretest posttest control group design. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII reguler SMPN 4 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi dalam delapan kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIIIE dan VIIIG yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan skala self-concept. EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN INKUIRI TERBIMBING DITINJAU DARI PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model viewed by students’ mathematical conceptual understanding. The population of this research was all students of grade eighth of SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung ood semester in the academic years of 2013/2014 as many as 299 students who was distributed into eight classes (VIII A-VIII H). The samples were taken by purposive sampling and it was obtained that VIII E as experimental class and VIII F as control class.The design of this research was post-test only control design. The data of this research were the score of students’ mathematical conceptual understanding which was obtained by test. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained that the students’ mathematical conceptual understanding with guided inquiry learning was higher than conventional learning model. Thus, the implementation of guided inquiry learning model was effective viewed by students’ mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 299 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam delapan kelas (VIII A–VIII H). Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling dan diperoleh kelas VIII E sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control design. Data penelitian ini berupa skor pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing lebih tinggi dari pembelajaran konvensional.
