EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasy-experimental research aimed to know theeffectiveness of TGT learning model to increase students mathematical conceptual understanding. The population of this research was all students of grade ninth of SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung in the academic years of 2014/2015 that was distributed into seven classes. The samples were taken by purposive sampling technique and it was obtained that students of IX F class were as experimental class and IX G were as control class.This research used post-test only control design. Based on the result of data analysis, it was concluded that the cooperative learning model of TGT type was effective to increase students mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran TGT untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam tujuh kelas. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh siswa kelas IX F sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas IX G sebagai kelompok kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan post-test only control design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: konvensional, pemahaman konsep matematis, TG
EFEKTIVITAS PENGGUNAAN MODEL GUIDED DISCOVERY LEARNING DITINJAU DARI PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi-experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of guided discovery learning model viewed by students mathematics problem solving. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII of SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2014/2015 as many as 268 students that was distributed into 8 classes. The sample of this research was students of VIII H class which was chosen by purposive random sampling technique. The design of this research was one-group posttest only design. Based on the result of data analysis, the percentage of students who have good mathematical problem solving in guided discovery learning was not over than 60%. The conclusion of this research was guided discovery learning model was ineffective viewed by students mathematical problem solving.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan model guided discovery learning ditinjau dari pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 sebanyak 268 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam 8 kelas. EFEKTIVITAS PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DITINJAU DARI PENALARAN MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem based learning model viewed from students mathematical reasoning ability. The population of this research was VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Trimurjo in second semester, academic year of 2014/2015 which consisted of seven classes. The sample of the research was students of VIII-F that was chosen by cluster sampling. The design of this research was one group pretest posttest design. The data of mathematical reasoning ability were obtained by essay test. Based on the result of research, it was concluded that the implementation of problem based learning model was effective viewed by mathematical reasoning ability but the percentage of students who reached the mastery learning was only 60% of total of students.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model problem based learning ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Trimurjo semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdiri dari tujuh kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-F yang dipilih menggunakan teknik cluster sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah one group pretest posttest design. Data kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa diperoleh dari tes yang berbentuk uraian. PERBANDINGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI PENDEKATAN CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING DENGAN KONVENSIONAL
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research was aimed to know the differences of mathematical learning achievemnet between contextual and conventional approach. Based on the result of t-test analysis with ? = 5 %, it was gotten thitung = 1,11 less then ttabel =1,645. Thus, it was concluded that in grade VII students of SMP Budi Karya Natar, the mathematical learning achievement in contextual approach was not better than conventional approach.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan prestasi belajar matematika siswa antara pendekatan kontekstual dan konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji-t dengan ? = 5 %, diperoleh thitung = 1,11 lebih kecil daripada ttabel = 1,645. Dengan demikian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pada siswa kelas VII SMP Budi Karya Natar, prestasi belajar matematika siswa dalam pendekatan kontekstual tidak lebih baik dibandingkan pendekatan konvensional.Kata kunci: kontekstual, konvensional, prestasi belajar matematik
PENGARUH PENDEKATAN PROBLEM POSING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMAHANAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem posing viewed by student's ability of understanding of mathematical concepts. This research used post-test only control design. The population of this research was all grade 7th students of SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2014/2015. By purposive random sampling technique, it was chosen students of VII.L and VII.I class as research samples. Based on the result of testing hypothesis, it was obtained that the average of the students ability of mathematical concepts with problem posing approach was higher than average of students ability of mathematical concepts with conventional learning. Thus,problem posing approach affects towards students ability of mathematical concepts.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Problem Posing terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Dengan teknik purposive random sampling terpilih kelas VII L dan VII I sebagai sampel penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh bahwa rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan pendekatan pembelajaran problem posing lebih tinggi daripada rata-rata kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran konvensional. The population of this research was all students of grade VII of SMP Al-Kautsar Bandarlampung in academic year of 2014/2015. The sample of this research was students of VIIB class that was chosen by purposive sampling technique. The data of this research were collected by students critical thinking ability test which were analyzed by the paired sample t-test and proportion test. Based on the result of this research, it was concluded that socrates contextual learning was effective viewed by students mathematical critical thinking ability.Penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain one group pretest-posttest ini, bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran socrates kontekstual ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Al-Kautsar Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII B yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t-test dan uji proporsi. This research sample was students of X-E class who was chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used one-shot case study design. Based on the result of hypothesis testing, the percentage of students who understood the mathematical concepts with the cooperative learning model of TGT type was less than 65%. Thus, the implementatiton of cooperative learning model of TGT type was not effective viewed by students mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif TGT ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas X-E yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan one-shot case study design. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis, persentase siswa yang memahami konsep matematis dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT kurang dari 65%. ANALISIS DESKRIPTIF SELF-EFFICACY BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS SISWA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN SOCRATES KONTEKSTUAL
Get PDFThis descriptive qualitative research aimed to describe the students mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy in Socrates Contextual Learning. The subject of this research was students of VII-D class of SMPN 22 Bandarlampung in even semester, academic year of 2014/2015 who appeared indicators of mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy. The data of this research were obtained by observation recording, mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy scale, and interview. The interview in this research aimed to get deeper informations about students mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy. The analysis of data used three stages, that were reducting, displaying, and getting conclusion of data. Based on the analysis of data, it was concluded that students mathematical critical thinking self-efficacy which appeared dominantly in Socrates Contextual Learning was indicators on magnitude/level dimension.Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis siswa dalam Pembelajaran Socrates Kontekstual. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-D SMP Negeri 22 Bandarlampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang memunculkan indikator self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui catatan lapangan, skala self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis, dan wawancara. Wawancara dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang lebih dalam mengenai self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa self-efficacy berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang dominan muncul dalam Pembelajaran Socrates Kotekstual adalah indikator pada dimensi magnitude/level.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, self-efficacy, socrates kontekstua

PERBANDINGAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS ANTARA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TTW DAN NHT

The population of this research was all students of grade 7th of MTs Mathlaul Anwar Gisting, even semester in academic year of 2014/2015. The samples of this research were students of VII.D and VII.E which were taken by purposive random sampling. Based on the result of research, it was gotten the conclusion that the students understanding of mathematical concepts in cooperative learning model of TTW type was higher than students understanding of mathematical concepts in the cooperative learning model of NHT type.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write (TTW) dan numbered heads together (NHT) dengan posttest only design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Mathlaul Anwar Gisting semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015.
