Efektivitas Aqurun Teaching Model ditinjau dari Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of Alqurun Teaching Model in terms of studentsconceptual understanding of mathematics. This research used one group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Metro in academic year of 2016/2017. Through purposive sampling technique, one class was taken as the sample that was VIII F class. Instrument used in this research was test. Analysis data of this research used t paired-test. Based on the result of research, it was concluded that Alqurun Teaching Model was not effective in terms of studentsconceptual understanding of mathematics. However, understanding mathematical concepts of students after following Alqurun Teaching Model was better than before following Alqurun Teaching Model.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas Alqurun Teaching Model ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Metro tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Melalui teknik purposive sampling 1 kelas diambil sebagai sampel yaitu kelas VIII F. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji t berpasangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa Alqurun Teaching Model tidak efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Namun, pemahaman konsep matematis siswa setelah mengikuti Alqurun Teaching Model lebih baik daripada sebelum mengikuti Alqurun Teaching Model.Kata kunci: Alqurun Teaching Model, Efektivitas, Pemahaman Konsep Matemati
Pengembangan LKPD dengan Inkuiri Terbimbing untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
Get PDFThis development research aims to produce the students worksheet based on guided inquiry and find out its effectiveness towards student's comprehension ability test of math concept. The stages of research and development were research and information collecting, students worksheet prepartion, students worksheet validation, preliminary field testing and main field testing. The subject of this development research is the students grade X of Senior High School AL-Hidayah Raman Utara Lesson Year 2017/2018. The research data is obtained through observation, interview, expert validation test and student's comprehension ability test of math concept. The results showed that (1) students worksheet was valid according to material and media expert (2) the implementation of students worksheet based on guided inquiry were classified as quite effective.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD dengan inkuiri terbimbing terbimbing dan menguji efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Tahapan penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu studi pendahuluan, penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MA AL-Hidayah Raman Utara tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, uji validasi ahli dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKPD dengan inkuiri terbimbing terbimbing yang dikembangkan telah valid menurut ahli materi dan ahli media (2) implementasi LKPD dengan inkuiri terbimbing terbimbing tersebut tergolong kategori cukup efektif.Kata kunci: Pemahaman Konsep, LKPD, Inkuiri terbimbing Terbimbing
Deskripsi Disposisi Komunikasi Matematis Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik
Get PDFThis qualitative research aimed to describe students mathematical communication disposition in Scientific Socratic Learning. The subject of this research were the students of class VII-H of SMPN 20 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017. The qualitative data of this research was about students mathematical comunication disposition which were taken by observation, field notes, interview, and documentation. The technique of data analysis used three stages, which were reducting, displaying, and getting the conclusion of data. Based on the result of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Scientific Socratic Learning on the students of class VII-H of SMPN 20 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017 can lead the students mathematical communication disposition and the indicator of mathematical communication disposition which appeared dominantly in Scientific Socratic Learning was curiosity.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi komunikasi matematis siswa yang muncul pada saat pembelajaran menggunakan pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-H SMPN 20 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif mengenai disposisi komunikasi matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui observasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik pada siswa kelas VII-H SMPN 20 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 dapat memunculkan disposisi komunikasi matematis pada siswa dan indikator disposisi komunikasi matematis yang dominan muncul pada pembelajaran dengan pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik adalah rasa ingin tahu.Kata kunci: disposisi komunikasi matematis, pembelajaran socrates saintifi
Efektivitas Pembelajaran Kooperatif Think Pair Share ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa

The population of this research was all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung in Academic Year 2016/2017 that were distributed into 12 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-B and VIII-C classes which were chosen by purposive random sampling. This research used posttest only control group design. Analysis data of this research used t-test. Based on the result of this research, it was concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning of think pair share wasnt effective in terms of students mathematical communication skill but it was better than conventional learning.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 12 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-B dan VIII-C yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain posttest only control group design. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran kooperatif Think Pair Share tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa tetapi lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Komunikasi Matematis, Think Pair Share
PENGEMBANGAN MODEL NHT MELALUI TUTOR SEBAYA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS
Get PDFThis development research aimed to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together with peer tutoring in terms of students' mathematical communication skills. The cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together is a learning model through a small group of 4-6 students who learn together to share ideas in resolving the problems. The peer tutors are students who are chosen from a group that hold duties as a mentor and tutor among them. The research data obtained through posttest. The subjects of this research were students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung in second semester of academic year of 2015/2016. The research method of follow the steps Bord and Gall. The data analysis in this research is quantitative. The results of the data proved floating on cooperative learning NHT with peer tutors more than 92% of students compared to the NHT class 32% of students reached the KKM. The results of research concluded cooperative learning model of Numbered Heads Together with peer tutoring effective to improve students mathematical communication skills. Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dengan tutor sebaya ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Pengembangan Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together merupakan model pembelajaran melalui kelompok kecil terdiri dari 4-6 siswa yang saling bekerja sama untuk saling berbagi ide dalam menyelesaikan persoalan. Tutor sebaya dipilih dari seorang siswa yang berasal dari teman-teman kelompoknya yang memegang tugas sebagai mentor dan tutor dikalangannya sendiri. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui posttest. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung semester genap tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Metode penelitian ini mengikuti langkah-langkah Bord dan Gall. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Hasil data membuktikan pengambangan pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dengan tutor sebaya lebih dari 92% siswa dibandingkan pada kelas NHT 32% siswa mencapai KKM. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together dengan tutor sebaya efektif meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: komunikasi matematis, Numbered Heads Together, tutor sebay
Deskripsi Disposisi Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik

Subjects of this research were students of class VII-A of Junior High School 1 Natar in academic year of 2016/2017. The qualitative data of this research was about disposition students understanding mathematical which were taken by observation, field notes, interview, and documentation. The technique of data analysis used three stages, which were reducting, displaying, and getting the conlusion of data. Based on the results of research, it can be concluded that in learning on material Linier Equations and Inequalities materials One Variable with Socrates Scientifik method can bring out the disposition of understanding students mathematical concept and indicator of students disposition understanding of mathematical concept is the dominant emerging confidence.Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-A SMP Negeri 1 Natar semester ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif mengenai disposisi pemahaman konsep metematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui catatan lapangan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahap yaitu reduksi, penyajian dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran matematika pada materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linier Satu Variabel dengan metode Socrates Saintifik dapat memunculkan disposisi pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dan indikator disposisi pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang dominan muncul adalah kepercayaan diri.Kata kunci : disposisi pemahaman konsep matematis,metode socrates, pendekatan saintifik
Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Pendekatan CTL untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis dan Self-Efficacy Siswa
Get PDFThis research is a development research that aims to find out how the development of LKPD based on CTL to improve the ability of mathematical communication and student self-efficacy. This research started from preliminary study, preparation of LKPD, LKPD validation, initial field test, and field test. The subjects of this study are students of class VII-A and VII-C SMP Negeri 1 Abung Tinggi Lesson Year 2016/2017. Preliminary study results indicate the need for the development of LKPD-based CTL approach. The preparation of LKPD begins with drafting the LKPD and all its components based on the guideline for the preparation of LKPD. Validation results indicate that LKPD has met the content and design feasibility standards. Field test results indicate that LKPD is included in either category. The result of field test shows that the improvement of students' mathematical communication ability following learning using LKPD based on CTL is higher than conventional learning and Student Self-Efficiency in both classes tended to not increase.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil pengembangan LKPD berbasis CTL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian diawali dengan studi pendahuluan, penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-A dan VII-C SMP Negeri 1 Abung Tinggi Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan pengembangan LKPD berbasis pendekatan CTL. Penyusunan LKPD diawali dengan menyusun draft dan semua komponennya berdasarkan panduan penyusunan LKPD. Hasil validasi menunjukkan LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi dan desain. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD berbasis CTL lebih tinggi dari pada pembelajaran konvensional dan Self-Efficacy siswa pada kedua kelas cenderung tidak mengalami peningkatan.Kata kunci : LKPD, CTL, Self-Efficac
Penerapan Pembelajaran Kontekstual untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa

The design was pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII in SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into four class. The samples of this research were students of VIII-A and VIII-C classes which were chosen by cluster random sampling technique. Analysis data of the research using t-test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that the increasing of students mathematical representation skills after implementation of contextual learning higher than students mathematical representation skills after implementation of conventional learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual dan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi pada penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Muhammadiyah 3 Bandarlampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam empat kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-C yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran kontekstual lebih tinggi daripada peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: Kemampuan Representasi Matematis, Pembelajaran Kontekstua
Pengembangan LKPD dalam Pembelajaran Kooperatif Group to Group Exchange untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis
Get PDFThis study aimed to develop a valid, practical, and effective LKPD Worksheet to improve students' mathematical communication skills. The learner's worksheet was developed to support cooperative learning group to group exchange. This research adopted the research flow of Borg & Gall development, but in its implementation only comes to seventh step that was revising the result of the test. Subjects in this study were students XI IPA 4 and XI IPA 2 class, even semester SMAN 1 Padangcermin in academic year of 2016/2017 lesson year as an experimental class and control class. The results showed that the developed student worksheet has a valid validity level. The learner worksheets developed also help the learners to more easily improve the mathematical communication skills and has a practical level of practicality. Based on the research and discussion, the worksheets of learners developed were valid, practical and effective to improve students' mathematical communication skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik. Lembar kerja peserta didik tersebut dikembangkan untuk menunjang pembelajaran kooperatif group to group exchange. Penelitian ini mengikuti alur penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall, namun dalam pelaksanaannya hanya sampai pada langkah ke-7. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA 4 dan kelas XI IPA 2 semester genap SMAN 1 Padangcermin tahun pelajaran 20016/2017 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lembar kerja peserta didik yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat kevalidan sangat valid. Lembar kerja peserta didik yang dikembangkan juga membantu peseta didik untuk lebih mudah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis serta memiliki tingkat kepraktisan yang sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, lembar kerja peserta didik yang dikembangkan valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik.Kata Kunci: LKPD , GGE, komunikasi matemati
EFEKTIVITAS MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING DITINJAU DARI PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA

This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII of Junior High School of Muhammadiyah 3 in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into 3 classes, then it was selected 2 classes as samples through cluster sampling technique. The result of data analysis of matematical communication skill showed that discovery learning model was not effective in terms of the enhancement of students mathematical comunication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran discovery ditinjau dari peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Mummadiyah 3 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 3 kelas, kemudian diambil 2 kelas sebagai sampel melalui teknik cluster sampling. Hasil analisis data kemampuan komunikasi matematis menunjukkan bahwa model discovery learning tidak efektif ditinjau dari peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.Kata kunci: discovery learning, efektivitas, komunikasi matemati
