Efektivitas Pembelajaran Tipe Think Pair Share Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa
This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning of think pair share type in terms of students mathematical representation skill. The population of this research was students of grade eighth in Junior High School 3 Bandarlampung that were distributed into 5 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-A and VIII-E class which were chosen by cluster random sampling. The of quantitative data of this research were reflected by the result of posttest of students' mathematical representation skill. This research used posttest only control design. Data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney U test and Binomial Sign test. Based on the result of this research, it was concluded that the cooperative learning of think pair share type wasnt effective in terms of students mathematical representation skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bandarlampung yang terdistribusi dalam 5 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-E yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Data penelitian berupa data kuantitatif yang dicerminkan oleh hasil posttest kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control design. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U dan uji Tanda Binomial. DESKRIPSI DISPOSISI BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS SISWA DENGAN PEMBELAJARAN SOCRATES SAINTIFIK
This qualitative research was aimed to describe studentss mathematical critical thinking disposition in Socrates Scientific learning at the topic of proportion. The subjects of this research were students of VII-F class in SMPN 22 Pesawaran of odd semester in academic year of 2016/2017. Through purposive sampling technique, it was chosen twelve students who described their critical thinking disposition. The research data were obtained by observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis technique used three stages, which were reducting, displaying, and getting the conclusion of data. The results of this research was during the learning process with Socrates Scientific, critical thinking disposition appeared dominantly were critical thinking self-confidence, curiosity, and truth-seeking. During the learning process, the characteristics of the Socrates questions makes students have curiosity and critical thinking self-confidence when answering the questions.Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritis matematis siswa dengan pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik pada materi perbandingan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-F SMPN 22 Pesawaran pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Melalui teknik purposive sampling terpilihlah dua belas siswa yang dideskripsikan disposisi berpikir kritisnya. Data penelitian diperoleh dari observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data. Hasil penelitian ini adalah selama proses pembelajaran dengan Socrates Saintifik, disposisi berpikir kritis yang dominan muncul adalah kepercayaan diri, rasa ingin tahu, dan pencarian terhadap kebenaran. Selama proses pembelajaran, karakteristik pertanyaan Socrates membuat siswa memiliki rasa ingin tahu serta memiliki kepercayaan diri dalam berpikir kritis saat menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, disposisi, socrates saintifi
Pengaruh Model Problem Based Learning Terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of Problem Based Learning model on increasing students mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was students of grade VII in SMP Negeri 1 Punggur in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into 8 classes. The samples of this research was students of VII.1 and VII.2 classes which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was pretest-posttest control group design. Research data were obtained through students mathematical communination skill test. The data analysis of this research used t test. Based on the result of the research, it could be concluded that problem based learning model was influence on increasing students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning terhadap peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Punggur tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 8 kelas. Penerapan Model Reciprocal Teaching untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
This research aimed to find out the increasing of students mathematical communication skills in the implementation of reciprocal teaching model. The design was pretest-posttest control group design. The population of this research was students of grade VIII in SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into 12 classes. The sampling was done by chosen 2 classes randomly of 12 classes. Research data were obtained through test of mathematical communication skills. Analysis data of this research used Mann-Whitney U test. Based on the research, it was concluded that the reciprocal teaching model could increase students mathematical communication skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa melalui penerapan model reciprocal teaching. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 19 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam dua belas kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara mengambil 2 kelas secara random dari 12 kelas. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U. Pengaruh Pembelajaran Kooperatif Two Stay Two Stray terhadap Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa
This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of cooperative learning of two stay two stray type towards mathematical representation skill of students. The population of this research was all students of eigth grade in Junior High School 3 Natar that were distributed into eight classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII G and VIII H class which were chosen by purposive random sampling technique. This research used posttest only control group design. The data of mathematical representation were obtained by essay test. The data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney U test. Based on the research, it was concluded that cooperative learning of two stay two stray had no influence of mathematical representation skill of students. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe two stay two stray terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Natar yang terdistribusi kedalam 8 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII G dan VIII H yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control group design. Data kemampuan representasi matematis diperoleh dari tes uraian. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U. Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis PBL untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis dan Self Efficacy Siswa
This research development aimed to develop of worksheet based on problem based learning for increasing mathematical communication ability and students self efficacy. This study was initiated with preliminary studies (need analysis), the composing, the validation, the initial trial period and the field trial of worksheet. The subject of this research was students of VII.7 and VII.8 class of SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung. The result of preliminary study indicated that there was a need to develop worsheet based on PBL. The arranges of worksheet were started with the draft-preperation and all of components based on the composing guidelines. The result of the validation showed that the worksheet got the standart qualification for its content and design. The filed trial results showed that (1) the students mathematical communication aspect was quite effective because seen from the N-Gain of 0,63 and (2) the students self efficacy was quite effective because seen from the N-Gain of 0,56.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis PBL guna meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self efficacy siswa. Penelitian ini diawali dari studi pendahuluan (analisis kebutuhan), penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.7 dan VII.8 SMPN 1 Bandar Lampung. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui tes komunikasi matematis dan skala self efficacy. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan dikembangkannya LKPD berbasis PBL. Penyusunan LKPD diawali dengan menyusun rancangan dan semua komponennya berdasarkan panduan penyusunan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi dan desain. Hasil uji coba lapangan awal menunjukkan bahwa LKPD termasuk dalam kategori cukup baik. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa (1) aspek komunikasi matematis siswa cukup efektif dilihat dari rerata N-Gain sebesar 0,63 dan (2) self efficacy siswa cukup efektif dilihat dari rerata N-Gain sebesar 0,56.Kata kunci : LKPD, komunikasi matematis,self efficac
Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Problem Solving untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Peserta D idik
This research was aimed to produce the students worksheet based on Problem Solving that valid and practical, and effective to increase students mathematical communication ability. The research subject was grade VII students in MTS Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2017/2018. The design of this research is one group pretest-posttest design. The data of this research were obtained by observation, interview, questioneirs and mathematical communication ability test. Based on the results of the validity by media and material expert and practical test by students and teacher, the students worksheet based on Problem Solving was classified as excellent. The results of the effectiveness of students worksheet show that 75% of students reached KKM and the indeks gain was high. So it can be concluded students worksheet based inquiry was effective to increase the mathematical communication ability of students.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKPD berbasis problem solving yang memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII MTS Negeri 1 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket, dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Berdasarkan hasil uji kevalidan oleh ahli media, materi dan uji kepraktisan oleh siswa dan guru serta uji efektif dari hasil kemampuan komunikasi matematis, LKPD berbasis Problem Solving tergolong semuanya baik. Hasil analisis kevalidan, kepraktisan, efektifan data menyatakan bahwa LKPD berbasis Problem Solving valid, praktis, efektif, dan hasil indeks gain yang diperoleh dikategorikan tinggi. Disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis Problem Solving valid, praktis, efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis peserta didik.Kata kunci: Problem Solving, komunikasi matematis, LKPD
Upaya Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa Melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Heads Together
This study is a classroom action research that aims to improve the mathematical concepts understanding of class IX B Junior High School of Budi Karya Natar using cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together. Research carried out in two cycles, each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection technique used test and observation at student of class IX B with total 24 people. The result showed that in the first cycle students tend to be passive. mathematical concepts understanding of students is relative low, although students conceptual understanding is better than previous learning. In the second cycle, students conceptual understanding is better than in cycle I. While the percentage of students who understand about the concept more than 70%, this is the case in cycle II students are more active and help each other in the learning process. The concluded that the application of cooperative learning model type NHT can improve understanding mathematical concepts of students.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas IX B SMP Budi Karya Natar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Heads Together. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan pengamatan pada siswa kelas IX B sejumlah 24 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I siswa cenderung pasif. Pemahaman konsep matematis siswa rendah, meskipun pemahaman konsep siswa lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran sebelumnya. Pada siklus II pemahaman konsep siswa lebih baik dibandingkan pada siklus I. Sedangkan prosentase siswa yang memahami konsep lebih dari 70%, hal ini disebabkan pada siklus II siswa lebih aktif dan saling bekerjasama dalam pemecahan masalah saat belajar. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe NHT dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.Kata kunci: Kooperatif, Numbered Heads Together, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis
Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Numbered Head Together ditinjau dari Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model in terms of the ability of understanding mathematical concepts of students. The population o fthis research was all students of grade VIII of SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016 that consist of eight classes. The sample of this research was students of VIII-E and VIII-G which was taken by purposive sampling technique. This research design was posttest only control design. Instrument of this research was essay test of the ability of understanding mathematical concepts. Based on the analysis of data, the ability of understanding mathematical concepts who follow NHT learning better than the ability of understanding mathematical concepts who follow conventional learning and the percentage of students who have good the ability of understanding mathematical concepts was more than 60%. Thus, Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model was effective viewed by the ability of understanding mathematical concepts.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) ditinjau dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 20 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016 yang terdiri dari delapan kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-E dan VIII-G yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control design. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes uraian pemahaman konsep. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran NHT lebih baik dari yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional dan persentase siswa yang memiliki kemampuan pemahaman konsep dengan baik lebih dari 60%. Pengaruh Discovery Learning terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
The aimed of this research was to find out the influence of discovery learning to students conceptual understanding of mathematics. The population of this research was students of grade VIII in SMP Negeri 17 Pesawaran in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into eight classes. The sample of this research was students of VIII A and VIII B class which were chosen by cluster random sampling technique. This research used pretest posttest control group design. Research data were obtained through conceptual understanding of mathematics test. Data analysis of this research used t-test. Based on the result of the research, it was concluded that discovery learning affects the students conceptual understanding of mathematics.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh discovery learning terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 17 Pesawaran tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam delapan kelas.
