    Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Inkuiri untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Matematis Siswa

    This research was aimed to produce the students worksheet based on inquiry that valid and practical, then find out its effectiveness towards students mathematical creative thinking ability. The stages of development were research and information collecting, students worksheet prepartion, students worksheet validation, preliminary field testing and main field testing.The research subject was grade XI students in SMAN 1 Purbolinggo in academic year of 2016/2017.The data of this research were obtained by observation, interview, questioneirs and mathematical creative thinking ability test. The result of this research are students worksheet was valid according to material and media expert, it was practical to use and effective to increase students mathematical creative thinking ability. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD berbasis inkuiri yang valid dan praktis, serta menguji efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa. Tahapan pengembangan ini yaitu studi pendahuluan, penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Purbolinggo Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan tes berpikir kreatif matematis. Hasil pengembangan dan penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu LKPD berbasis inkuiri yang dikembangkan telah valid menurut ahli materi dan ahli media, praktis digunakan menurut siswa serta efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa.Kata kunci: Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, LKPD, Inkuiri

    Pengembangan LKPD dengan Model Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa

    The main objective this research is to develop effective, valid, and practical students worksheet in the terms of students mathematical communication ability. The population of this research was the whole 10th grade students in Senior High School 1 Bandar Lampung of the academic year 2016/2017. The development of students worksheet followed the procedure of Brog and Gall. Data collection techniques in this research used are validation expert, the respons of students and mathematical communication ability test. The result showed that students worksheet with the model of problem based learning had been the requirement and eligibility based on the material and media expert assessment. The result showed that the developed students worksheet could improve the ability of students in communicating mathematically that can be seen from the result of the communication test and the achievement of the students. Based on the research, developed students worksheet with problem based learning had been the criteria of being valid, practical and effective in improving the mathematical communicative ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD yang valid, praktis, dan efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Pengembangan LKPD mengikuti prosedur Brog & Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah validasi ahli, respon peserta didik dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD dengan model Problem Based Learning telah memenuhi syarat dan standar kelayakan berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, dan media. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dilihat dari pencapaian KKM dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis.     DESKRIPSI PERCAKAPAN MATEMATIS PADA PEMBELAJARAN SOCRATES SAINTIFIK DALAM MEMFASILITASI KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS

    This qualitative research was aimed to describe the students mathematical discourse in Socratic Scientific learning to facilitate mathematical communication ability. The subject of this research was students of VII H class of SMPN 10 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2016/2017. The qualitative data of this research was about students mathematical discourse which were gotten by observation and interview. Three procedures of data analysis were data reduction, data display, and conclusion verification. Based on the research, it was concluded that in mathematical discourse, there were: (1) mathematical expression and written text as the dominant indicators of mathematical communication ability, (2) clarification as Socratic question that was used by teacher more frequently, and (3) communicating as Scientific phase that was more frequently appeared. Besides that, the research findings were characteristic pattern of mathematical discourse, mathematical discourse form, and the factors that influence students response in mathematical discourse. Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan percakapan matematis siswa pada Pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik dalam memfasilitasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII H SMPN 20 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian ini merupakan data kualitatif tentang percakapan matematis siswa yang diperoleh melalui catatan lapangan dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dalam percakapan matematis terdapat: (1) mathematical expression dan written text sebagai indikator kemampuan komunikasi yang dominan muncul, (2) pertanyaan Socrates bertipe klarifikasi yang lebih banyak digunakan guru, dan (3) tahap mengomunikasikan sebagai tahapan Saintifik yang banyak terlihat. Selain itu, diperoleh temuan berupa pola karakteristik percakapan matematis, bentuk percakapan matematis, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi respon siswa dalam percakapan matematis.Kata kunci: kemampuan komunikasi matematis, percakapan matematis, Socrates Saintifi

    PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN TEAM QUIZ TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS DAN SELF CONFIDENCE

    This quasi-experimental research aimed to find out the influence of Team Quiz learning towards students mathematical critical thinking skills and self confidence. This research used posttest only control group design with population was all students of grade VIII of SMPN 5 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2015/2016. Through cluster random sampling technique, two classes were chosen as samples. The conclusion of this research was Team Quiz learning did not affect the mathematical critical thinking skils and self confidence of students. However, the mathematical critical thinking skills of students who taught by Team Quiz was higher than the critical thinking skills of students who taught by conventional learning.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran Team Quiz terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan self confidence siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan posttest only control group design dimana populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Melalui teknik cluster random sampling, dua kelas diambil sebagai sampel. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran Team Quiz tidak berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan self confidence siswa. Namun, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran Team Quiz lebih tinggi daripada kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis matematis, self confidence, team qui

    PENGEMBANGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PENEMUAN TERBIMBING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS MATEMATIS SISWA

    This research and development aimed to develop guided discovery learning model and find out its effectiveness towards students mathematical critical thinking ability. The stages of development were started from preparation phase, design product, design validation, individual test, small group test, and field test. The subject of this research was students of tenth grade at SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung. The data of this research were obtained by mathematical critical thinking ability test. The preparation showed that it was need to developed guided discovery learning. Based on the result in this research, the design validation was in excellent category, individual test was in good category, and small group test was in excellent category. The result of field test showed that increasing of students mathematical critical thinking ability after taught by guided discovery learning was quite effective category. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing dan menguji efektivitasnya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa. Tahapan pengembangan ini dimulai dari tahap persiapan, desain produk, validasi desain, uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMAN 7 Bandar Lampung. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis. Tahap persiapan menunjukkan kebutuhan dikembangkannya pem-belajaran penemuan terbimbing. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, validasi desain termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik, uji coba perorangan termasuk dalam kategori baik, dan uji coba kelompok kecil termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa setelah diberikan pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif.Kata kunci: penemuan terbimbing, berpikir kritis, efektivita

    Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa

    This research aimed to find out the influence of think pair share learning model towards students mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into 12 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-B and VIII-C class which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used the pretest posttest control group design. Research data were obtained through test of mathematical communication skill. Data analysis for testing of hypothesis in this research used t-test. Based on the research and discussion it was concluded that the Think Pair Share Learning Model has no effects towards the students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 12 kelas. Analysis data of this research used t-test and proportion test. Based on the result and discussion of this research, it was concluded that the problem based learning model was effective in terms of students mathematical communications skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain posttest only control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 8 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-C dan VIII-D yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa.     This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of problem based learning of students mathematical representation skill. The population of research was all students of grade 8thof SMP Negeri 1 Negeri Agung in academic year of 2016/2017 that was distributed into three classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII A and VIII B classes which were chosen by cluster random sampling This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained by test of mathematical representation skill. Analysis data of research used Mann-Whitney U test. The result of research analysis showed that the problem based learning affects the students mathematical representation skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.     Efektivitas Pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education Ditinjau dari Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa

    This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of Realistic Mathematic Education approach in terms of students understanding of mathematical concepts. The population of this research was students of grade VII in SMP Negeri 1 Adiluwih in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into 6 classes. The samples of this research were students of VII A and VII B class which were chosen by purposive and random sampling technique. The design was posttest only control group design. Analysis data of the research used t-test. Research data were obtained through test of understanding of mathematical concepts. Based on the result of the research, it was concluded that Realistic Mathematic Education approach was not effective in terms of students' understanding of mathematical concepts. But, the students understanding of mathematical concepts which was taught by Realistic Mathematic Education approach was better than students understanding of mathematical concepts which was not taught by Realistic Mathematic Education approach.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Adiluwih tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam 6 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa pada kelas VII A dan VII B yang diambil dengan teknik purposive dan teknik random sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan t-test. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes pemahaman konsep matematis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan Realistic Mathematic Education tidak efektif ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. The design of this research was posttest only control group design. The population of this research was all of 8th grade students in SMPN 23 Bandar Lampung in academic year of 2016/2017 which was distributed into 10 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII A and VIII B classes which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The research data were obtained by students mathematical concepts understanding ability test. Analysis data of this research using t-test. Based on the result and discussion of this research, it was concluded that the learning model of group investigation type wasnt effective in terms of students mathematical concepts understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran Group Investigation ditinjau dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design.
