Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Kontekstual Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis
Get PDFThis study aims to produce contextual based worksheet that meet the valid, practical and effective criteria improving mathematical communication skills. Development phase and research preliminary study, planning, development worksheet, validation worksheet, and field test. Subjects is students class VIIIB SMP Negeri 30 Bandar Lampung. The design field test phase is one group pretest-posttest design. Research data obtained through questionnaire, and test mathematical communication ability. Data analysis prevalence by material experts and media experts, average score of 3.3 and 3.6 so that both are categorized very well; practicality test by teacher and students obtained the average score 3.7 and 3.13 so that both categorized very well; and effectiveness test Contextual based worksheet obtained gain of 0.71 which shows improvement communication ability included in high criterion. Thus concluded that Contextual based worksheet is valid, practical, effective to improve mathematical communication ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan LKPD berbasis kontekstual yang valid, praktis dan efektif ditinjau dari peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Tahap Pengembangan dan penelitian ini yaitu studi pendahuluan, perencanaan, pengembangan LKPD, validasi LKPD, dan uji lapangan. Subjek adalah peserta didik kelas VIIIB SMP Negeri 30 Bandar Lampung. Desain tahap uji lapangan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui angket, dan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Analisis data kevalidan oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, diperoleh rata-rata skor 3,3 dan 3,6 sehingga keduanya dikategorikan sangat baik; uji kepraktisan dilakukan oleh guru dan peserta didik diperoleh rata-rata skor 3,7 dan 3,13 keduanya dikategorikan sangat baik; uji efektivitas LKPD berbasis kontekstual diperoleh gain sebesar 0,71 yang menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis kontekstual valid, praktis, efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis.Kata kunci : Komunikasi matematis, kontekstual, LKPD
Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik dengan Inkuiri Terbimbing Untuk Mengembangkan Pemahaman Konsep
Get PDFThis research aimed to know the development of the concept understanding ability of learners in learning which was facilitated by student activity sheets (LKPD) with guided inquiry. This research was qualitative deskriptive study. The subjects of this study were the students of class VII.2 SMP IT Baitun Nur Punggur in Academic Year 2017/2018. Research data were obtained through observation of LKPD workmanship and test of concept understanding ability. The results showed that understanding of learners' concept from every meeting which was facilitated by LKPD with guided inquiry Experienced had a positive development. In addition, the achievement of the concept comprehension test resultshowed the maximum result with an average of 80,18%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik dalam pembelajaran yang difasilitasi Lembar Kegiatan Peserta Didik (LKPD) dengan inkuiri terbimbing. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII.2 SMP IT Baitun Nur Punggur Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui pengamatan hasil pengerjaan LKPD dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman konsep peserta didik dari setiap pertemuan yang difasilitasi LKPD dengan inkuiri terbimbing mengalami perkembangan yang positif. Selain itu, pencapaian hasil tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep menunjukkan hasil yang maksimal dengan rata-rata 80,18%.Kata kunci: inkuiri terbimbing, lkpd, pemahaman konsep
Desain Didaktis Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linear Satu Variabel dalam Mengembangkan Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
Get PDFThis research aimed to produce a didactic design of equations and linear inequality one variable through scientific approach to develop ability of mathematical communication of grade VII students of junior high school. This type of research is research and development that follows the steps of Borg and Gall which started from a preliminary study in the form of a need analysis, didactic design organizing, didactic design validation followed by revision, field trials followed by revision, and field test. The field test showed that didactical design which had been produced could be classified as useable by design expert judgment. The results of field trialindicated that ability of mathematical communication in good criterion, saw from the percentage of mastery learning which had been fulfilled. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan desain didaktis persamaan dan pertidaksamaan linear satu variabel melalui pendekatan saintifik dalam mengembangkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas VII SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan yang mengikuti langkah-langkah Borg and Gall, yaitu diawali dari studi pendahuluan berupa analisis kebutuhan, penyusunan desain didaktis, validasi desain didaktis dilanjutkan revisi, ujicoba terbatas dilanjutkan revisi, dan uji lapangan dilanjutkan revisi. Hasil uji ahli menunjukkan bahwa desain didaktis yang dihasilkan layak. Hasil ujicoba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis dalam kriteria baik dilihat persentase ketuntasan belajar telah terpenuhi.Kata kunci : desain didaktis dan kemampuan komunikasi matematis
Pengaruh Pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa

The result of this research show that enhancement of matheΒmatical communication student who follow learning with think pair share higher than mathematical communication of student who follow learning with convensional.Β Based the results and workΒing through of research, the conclusion of the research is the TPS influence to studentβs mathematical communication.Β Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran think pair share terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Β Populasi penelitian siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Tulang Bawang Tengah tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 terdistribusi dalam delapanΒ kelas, VII A-VII H. PengamΒbilan samΒΒpel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling kelas VII A dan VII B sebagai sampel. Desain penelitian menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh menggunakan instrumen tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann-WhitneyU. Hasil penelitian meΒnunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran TPS lebih tinggi dari kemampuan komunikasi siswa yang meΒngikuti pembelajaran konvenΒsional. Efektivitas Model Discovery Learning Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Berpikir Reflektif dan Self Confidence
Get PDFThis quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of discovery learning modelin terms of students reflective thinking and self confidence. The population of this research was all seventh gradestudents of SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung in Academic Year 2017/2018 that were distributed into 10 classes. The samples of this research were students of VII-D and VII-G classes which were chosen by purposive sampling. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The data analysis which was used Β test and proporsi test. Based on the results of t test analysis and proportion test, the average increase in the ability of relational thinking and self confidence students who follow discovery learning is higher than students who follow conventional learning. Based on the result of this research and criticism, it was concluded that the implementation of discoveryΒ learning model was effective in terms of students reflective thinking, but wasnβt effective in terms of students self confidence.Β Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model discovery learning ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir reflektif dan self confidence siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdistribusi dalam 10 kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-D dan VII-G yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive Β sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pretest-posttest control group design. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Β dan uji proporsi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji Β dan uji proporsi, rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir relektif dan self confidence siswa yang mengikuti discovery learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran Β konvensional. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model discovery learning efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir reflektif siswa tetapi tidak efektif ditinjau dari self confidence siswa.Β Kata Kunci: berpikir reflektif, discovery learning, self confidence

The samples of this research were students of VIII-A and VIII-B class which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. Β The design of this research was pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained by the essays test ofΒ mathematical problem solving skill. Analysis data of the research using non parametric test that is Mann-Whitney U test. Based on the research results and discussion, it was concluded that discovery learning affects the student's mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh discovery learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdistribusi dalam sebelas kelas. Efektivitas Contextual Teaching and Learning Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis Siswa

The population of this research was all VII grade students of Junior High School state of 3 Natar in academic year of 2017/2018 which were distributed into ten classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII E and VIII F class which were chosen by purposive random sampling. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The data of students mathematical reasoning skill were obtained by essay test. The data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney U test. Based on the research, it was concluded that CTL was not effective in terms of students mathematical reasoning skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas contextual teaching and learning (CTL) ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Natar tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdistribusi dalam sepuluh kelas.
