    EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA

    Abstrak: Efektivitas Model Problem Based Learning Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas model problem based learning ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 8 Bandarlampung semester genap tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 280 yang terdistribusi dalam sembilan kelas.  Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII E sebanyak 29 siswa dan VII I sebanyak 27 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes uraian kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada materi arikmatika sosial. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang menggunakan uji- dan uji proporsi diperoleh bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa model problem based learning lebih tinggi daripada pembelajaran konvensional, namun proporsi siswa yang memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis tidak lebih dari 60% jumlah siswa yang mengikuti model problem based learning

    THE EFFECT OF GUIDED DISCOVERY LEARNING MODEL TOWARD STUDENT’S MATHEMATICAL REPRESENTATION SKILL

    This experimental research aimed to analyzed the effect of guided discovery learning model toward student’s mathematical representation skill. The population of this research was the eighth grade student of SMP Muhammadiah 3 Bandarlampung in academic year 2018/2019 as many as 211 students that were distributed into seven classes. Samples of this research were the student of class VIII C consist of 3 students  and VIII E consist of 31 students that were selected through purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was pretest-posttest control grup design. Data analysis in this research used t’-test and proportion test with α = 0,05. Based on the research result, that student’s matematical representation skill who followed the guided discovery learning model was higher than students who followed the non-guided discovery learning model. Thus, the guided discovery learning model affect student's mathematical representation skill. Keywords: effect, guided discovery learning, mathematical representation skill  Peneli­ti­­an ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model guided discovery learning terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa.     The Influence of Discovery Learning Model Towards Students’ Mathematical Representation Ability

    This research aimed to find out the influence of discovery learning models on student's mathematical representation ability. The population of this research was all of the 7th-grade students of junior high school of 23 Bandar Lampung in academic years of 2018/2019 that distributed in eight classes. Sampling was carried out by using purposive sampling techniques so that selected as class 7C and 7D as a research sample. The design was used was the pretest and posttest control group design. The research data was obtained through mathematical representation ability test in the form of a essay on rectangular and triangular material. The analysis of the data of this study used the t-test.     Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Discovery Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa

    Abstract: The Effectiveness of Discovery Learning Model in Terms of Students’ Mathematical Communication Skills. This quasi experimental research aimed to examine the effectiveness of discovery learning model in terms of students’ mathematical communication skills. The population of this research was all students of grade VII of SMP Negeri 26 Bandarlampung in even semester in academic year 2018/2019 as many as 233 students, that were distributed into eight classes. By using purposive sampling technique, two classes were taken as the sample that were VII B class as many as 30 students and VII D class as many as 29 students. This research used the pretest-posttest control group design and the data collecting technique was test. The data obtained from this research was the score of students’ mathematical communication skills. Based on the result of t-test and proportion test using 5% of significance level, it was concluded that discovery learning model was not effective in terms of students’ mathematical communication skills. However, the mathematical communication skills of students who following discovery learning was higher than mathematical communication skills of students who following conventional learning. Keywords: discovery learning, effectiveness, mathematical communication skill

    This quasi Experimental researchaimed to know effectiveness of Project Based Learning model for student’s ability in understanding mathematical concepts. Populatian of this research was student 7th grade student of SMP N 7Bandar Lampung which was distributed in 8 classes, and the samples of his research were students of VII-1 and VII-3 that choosen by purposive sampling technique. The research data was collected by pretest and post-test, and being tested by t-test.     Pengaruh Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Think Pair Share Terhadap Kemampuan Representasi Matematis Siswa

    This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of of Cooperative Learning Think Pair Share Type towards Students’ Mathematical Representation Skill. The population of this research was students of class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bunga Mayang in academic year of 2017/2018 as much as 112 students that were distributed into four classes. The sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII C and VIII D as samples. The design which was used in this research was the pretest-posttest design control group design. The data analysis which was used was t test. The result of this research show that enhancement of mathematical representation skill of student who follow learning with TPS model higher than mathematical representation skill of student who follow learning with convensional model.  Based on the results and working through of research, the conclusion of the research is the TPS model was influence to student’s mathematical representation skill. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think pair share terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Bunga Mayang tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 sebanyak 112 siswa dan terdistribusi dalam empat kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling dan terpilih siswa pada kelas VIII C dan VIII D sebagai sampel. Desain yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design.     This research aimed to know the effectiveness of discovery learning model based on ethnomathematics in terms of studentscritical thinking skill. The population of this research was students of grade VII in SMP Negeri3 Sukoharjoin academic year of 2017/2018. Thesamplesof thisresearch was students of VII-B classes which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The design of this research is one group pretest-posttest. Research data were obtained through critical thinking skill. Analysis data of this research used t paired-test. Based on the result of the research and analysis data concluded that discovery learning modelbased on ethnomathematics was not effective in terms of students' critical thinking skill. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran discovery learning berbasis ethnomathematics ditinjau dari kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa.     This experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of discovery learning model in terms of student's mathematical problem solving skill. The population of this research was all grade eight students of Junior High School state of 3 Natar in academic year of 2017/2018 which were distributed into ten classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-D and VIII-E class which were chosen by purposive sampling. The design of this research was posttest only control group design. The research data were obtained by the test of mathematical problem solving skill. The data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney U test. Based on the research, it was concluded that discovery learning model was not effective in terms of students mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model discovery learning ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.     Pengaruh Problem Based Learning Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Reflektif Matematis dan Self Confidence

    This quasi experimental research aimed to determine the influence of problem based learning towards student's mathematical reflective thinking ability and self confidence. The research population were all students grades VIII of SMP Negeri 22 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2017/2018 that were distributed into eleven classes. The research sample were grades VIII F and VIII H that were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The research design was the pretest-postest control group design. The data analysis used is t-test and t’-test. The research result shows that gain of student’s mathematical reflective thinking ability in problem based learning class is higher than in conventional learning class, and self confidence isn’t higher than. Based on results and discussion, it can be concluded that problem based learning model has influence towards student's mathematical reflective thinking ability, but hasn't influence towards student's self confidence.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh problem based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir reflektif matematis dan self confidence siswa.
