Analisis Self-Efficacy Berpikir Kritis Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Saintifik
Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis self-efficacy berpikir kritis siswa dengan Pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Sembilan siswa kelas VII-D MTs Negeri 2 Bandar Lampung semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari tiga siswa dengan kemampuan matematis tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Data penelitian ini diperoleh melalui jurnal siswa, catatan lapangan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga langkah yaitu mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan terhadap data penelitian. Berdasarkan tahapan analisis data tersebut, diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa siswa yang memiliki self-efficacy tinggi adalah siswa yang berkemampuan matematis tinggi, dan siswa yang memiliki self-efficacy rendah adalah siswa yang berkemampuan matematis rendah. Sedangkan beberapa siswa yang berkemampuan matematis sedang memiliki self-efficacy tergolong tinggi atau rendah. Kemudian dari hasil tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan untuk dimensi self-efficacy berpikir kritis yang dominan muncul dalam Pembelajaran Socrates Saintifik adalah dimensi magnitude
Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematis Siswa
This quasi-experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of guided inquiry learning model to increase students’ mathematical problem solving ability. The population of this research were all students of grade 7th of SMPN 1 Tanjung Bintang in the even semester of academic year of 2018/2019 as many as 224 students that were distributed into seven classes. The sample of this research was students of class VII A consist of 29 students and VII B consist of 29 students who were selected by cluster random sampling. The design used was the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Research data were obtained through a essaytest on the comparison. Analysis of this research data used the mann-withney test and proportion test. The results showed that there was no difference increasing of in students' mathematical problem solving ability between the guided inquiry learning model and conventional learning, however the mathematical problem solving ability of students who followed the guided inquiry learning model reached more than 60% of the number of students.Keywords: effectiveness, guided inquiry, mathematical problem solvin
Efektivitas Model Problem Based Learning Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the problem based learning model in terms of students mathematical communication skills. The population of this research was all the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year as many as 329 student’s which distributed in 11 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII-G as many as 30 student’s and VIII-K as many as 30 student’s class which were chosen by purposive sampling technique. This research used the nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. The research data was obtained through essay tests of mathematical communication skills in material of linear equations system with two variables. Data of this research used Mann-Whitney U test and Binomial Sign test. The conclusion of this research was the problem based learning model was not effective in term of students mathematical communication skills, but the mathematical communication skills of the students who taught by problem based learning was higher than students who taught by conventional learning Keywords: conventional, mathematical communication, problem based learning Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas model problem based learning ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Bandar Lampung semester ganjil tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 329 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam sebelas kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII G sebanyak 30 siswa dan VIII K sebanyak 30 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain yang digunakan adalah the nonequivalent pretest posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis yang berbentuk uraian pada materi sistem persamaan linear dua variabel. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U dan uji Tanda Binomial. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model problem based learning tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, akan tetapi kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti problem based learning lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray Ditinjau dari Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
The Effectiveness of Two Stay Two Stray Model on Students’ Mathematical Communication Skill. This quasi-experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of two stay two stray model on students’ mathematical communication skill. The population in this research was all students of grade 7th of SMPN 10 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2018/2019 that consist of 352 students and distributed into eleven classes. Through cluster random sampling technique, VII H consist of 32 students and VII J consist of 32 students were chosen as the research sample. This research used the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained by the essay test of mathematical communication skill on topic of ratio. Analysis of research data used the Mann-Whitney u test and z test. The Influence of Cooperative Learning of Student Teams Achievement Division toward The Student’s Understanding of Mathematical Concept
This research aimed to find out the influence of cooperative learning of STAD toward student’s understanding of mathematical concept. This research was quasi experiment with posttest control design. The research population was the whole of 7th grade student in first semester of SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung, with two classes as a sample of the research which was taken by using the purposive sampling technique. Research instrument was concept comprehension test and data analysis technique by using t-test. The results showed that cooperative learning of STAD positively influenced the student’s understanding of mathematical concept. Efektivitas Model Problem Based Learning Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
The Effectiveness of Problem Based Learning Model Toward Student’s Mathematical Communication Skill. This quasi-experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of problem based learning (PBL) model toward student’s mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all students of grade 7th Junior High School state of Natar in academic year 2018/2019 as many as 353 students that distributed into eleven classes. Through purposive random sampling technique, students of class of VII B as many as 32 students and class of VII C as many as 32 students were chosen as the research sample. This research used pretest-posttest group design. The research data were obtained by the essay test of student’s mathematical communication skill. The result of t -test and proportion test with was known that the data of student’s mathematical communication skill through problem based learning model was higher than the data of student’s mathematical communication skill through non-PBL model and proportion of student through problem based learning model with standard of minimum of completeness 70 more than 60%. The Influence of Think Pair Share Model Towards Student’s Mathematical Concept Comprehension
This experimental research aimed to know the Influence of Think Pair Share model towards student’s mathematical concept comprehension. The population of this research was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Natar in academic year 2018/2019 as many as 300 students that distributed into 11 classes. The sampling was done by cluster random sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII A as many as 25 students and VIII B as many as 30 students as samples. The design was the randomized pretest-posttest control grup design. The data in this researh were obtained by mathematical concept comprehension test.The data analysis of this research used t-test.Based on the result of research, it was concluded Think Pair Share model have an effecton based on students conceptual understanding of mathematics. The effect of cooperative learning model of think pair share type in terms of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding
This research aimed to find out the effect of cooperative learning model of think pair share type in terms of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The population of this research was all students of grade VII of SMPN 2 Palas in the even semester academic year of 2018/2019 that were distributed into 5 classes that were VIIA to VIIE class, then by using cluster random sampling technique it was chosen VIIE as an experiment class and VIID as an control class. This research used the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The data of this research obtained through essay test of the comparison material. Based on the results of this research, students’ mathematical conceptual understanding who take of TPS learning were higher than students’ mathematical conceptual understanding of non-TPS learning. PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA
Abstract: The Effect of Problem Based Learning Models to Increase Students’ Understanding of Mathematical Concept. This quasi-experimental research aimed to find out the effect of problem based learning (PBL) model towards students’ understanding of mathematical concept. The population of this research were all students of grade 7th of SMPN 1 Terbanggi Besar in the even semester of academic year of 2018/2019 as many as 268 students that were distributed into nine classes. The sample of this research was students of class VII B consist of 29 students and VII C consist of 32 students who were selected by cluster random sampling. The design used was the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Research data were obtained through an essay test on the social arithmetic. The data analysis used the mann-withney U test and test. The result showed that the gain of students' understanding of mathematical concept through problem based learning model was higher than the gain of students' understanding of mathematical concept through conventional learning. Pengembangan Bahan Ajar dengan Metode PQ4R untuk Memfasilitasi Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa
This development research aimed to develop Teaching Material with the Preview, Questiona, read, Reflect, Recite And Review (PQ4R) method for facilitate mathematical communication. The subject of this research was students of XI grade for specialisation mathematics and natural Sciences program at SMAN 1 Gedongtataan Pesawaran, in academic years of 2017/2018. The data collection techniques used of observation interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The results showed that the Teaching Material using PQ4R method that was able to facilitate mathematical communication of them, and provide convenience to students. This can be seen from the development of students’ mathematics score that reached 90,63% a bove the passing gruade. And the assesment of students’ attitudes was getting better in learning. The analysis of the student’s response and findings during implementation was used for a basis of further improvement of the teaching material.Penelitian pengembangan (Research & Development) ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar dengan menggunakan metode Preview, Questiona, read, Reflect, Recite And Review (PQ4R). untuk memfasilitas komunikasi matematis. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI program wajib Matematika danIlmu-ilmu Alam (MIA) di SMAN 1 Gedong Tataan Pesawaran tahun pembelajaran 2017/2018. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar statistika dengan menggunakan metode PQ4R, mampu memfasilitasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan memberi kemudahan pada siswa. Hal ini terlihat dari perkembangan nilai matematika siswa yang mencapai 90,63% jauh di atas KKM dan penilaian sikap siswa semakin membaik dalam pembelajaran. Analisis terhadap respon siswa dan temuan-temuan selama implementasi dijadikan landasan untuk perbaikan Bahan ajar selanjutnya.Kata Kunci: bahan ajar, metode PQ4R, komunikasi matemati
