PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN DISCOVERY TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA
The Influence of Discovery Learning to Students Mathematical Communication Skills. This research aimed to examine the influence of discovery learning towards student’s mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Natar in the odd semester of the 2018/2019 academic year as many as 363 student’s that were distributed into 11 classes. The samples of this research were students of class VIII-D consist of 30 students and VIII-F consist of 30 students which were chosen by cluster random sampling technique. This research used the randomized pretest-posstest control group design. The research data were scores of the mathematical communication skill that were obtained through essay test of linear equations system with two variables. The data analysis of this research used Mann-Whitney test. The results of this research concluded that discovery learning affects the student’s mathematical communication skill. Efektivitas Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Representasi Matematis dan Self Confidence Siswa
This quasi experimental research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem based learning viewed by students mathematical representation and self confidence skill. The population of this research was all students of eighth grade in Junior High School 25 Bandarlampung in the academic year of 2016/ 2017 that were distributed into nine classes and samples of this research were students of VIII-H and VIII-I class that were taken by cluster random sampling technique. This research used pretest-posttest control design. The research data was obtained from essay mathematical representation skill test and self confidence quistionnaire. The data analysis which was used was t’- test and proportion test. Based on the result and discussion of this research, it was concluded that problem based learning model was effective viewed by students mathematical representation and self confidence skill. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran berbasis masalah ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis dan self confidence siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 25 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam sembilan kelas dan sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII-H dan VIII-I yang diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan representasi matematis berbentuk essay dan skala self confidence. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji t’dan uji proporsi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan representasi matematis dan self confidence siswa. EFEKTIVITAS MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ALQURUN DITINJAU DARI KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIS SISWA
Abstract: The Effectiveness of ALQURUN Teaching Model on Students’ Mathematical Communication Skill. This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of ALQURUN teaching model on students’ mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all students of 8th grade at SMPN 10 Bandarlampung in the academic year 2018/2019. The samples of this research were VIIIB and VIIIC chosen by cluster random sampling technique. This research used pretest-posttest control group design. The data were obtained by the essay test of mathematical communication skill. The data were analyzed by using proportion test and Mann Whitney-U test with the significance 0,05. Best on the results of his research, it can be concluded that ALQURUN is not effective, but it can be used to improve students’ mathematical communication skill. Keyword: ALQURUN, effectiveness, mathematical communication skill. Abstrak: Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran ALQURUN Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran ALQURUN ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 10 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIIB dan VIIIC yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dengan instrumen berbentuk uraian. Analisis data menggunakan uji proporsi dan uji Mann Whitney-U dengan taraf signifikan . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran ALQURUN tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, namun dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. PENGARUH PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK TALK WRITE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN REPRESENTASI MATEMATIS SISWA
This research aimed to find out the influence of cooperative learning model of think-talk-write type towards student’s mathematical representation skill. The population of this research was all of 8th grade students of SMPN 34 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2018/2019 with 177 students that distributed into six classes. The sample of this research were student of VIII B and VIII D class with 58 students which chosen by cluster random sampling technique. The pretest-posttest control group design was used as the design of this research. The data of this research was quantitave data that obtained by mathematical representation skill test in the form of essay test on statistics. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah Terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the influence of Problem Based Learning models toward to student’s understanding of mathematical concept. The population of this research was all students of grade VIII of SMPN 5 Bandarlampung in academic year of 2017/2018 that were distributed into 11 classes. The sampling was done by purposive sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII-A and VIII-B as samples. The design which was used was the –posttest only control group design. The data of student’s understanding of mathematical concept obtain using test technique. The data analysis was used was Mann-whitney U test. Based on the research and conclusion indicated that the learning used Problem Based Learning is not influence on student’s understanding of mathematical concept. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 5 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdistribusi dalam sebelas kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling dan terpilih siswa pada kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B sebagai sampel. Desain yang digunakan adalah posttest only control group design. Data kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diperoleh menggunakan tehnik tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Mann-Whitney . Dari hasil penelitian dan pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah tidak berpengaruh terhadapan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Efektivitas Pembelajaran Kooperatif Think Talk Write Ditinjau dari Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
This quasi-experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of TTW learning on student’s mathematical conceptual understanding. The population in this research was all students of 7th grade at SMPN 10 Bandarlampung in academic year 2018/2019, which consist of 351 students that distributed into eleven classes. The sample in this research were the students of VII D which consist of 32 students and VII E which consist of 32 students who were selected based on cluster random sampling technique. This research used the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research data were obtained by the essay test of mathematical conceptual understanding on topic of comparison. t-test and proportion test was used to analyze the data with . Based on the results of the research and discussion, it was concluded that cooperative learning type TTW was not effective in terms of student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TTW ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri dari 351 siswa dan terdistribusi dalam 11 kelas. The Effectiveness of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Learning Model Viewd from the Students' Understanding of Mathematical Concepts
The Effectiveness of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Learning Model Viewed from the Students' Understanding of Mathematical Concepts. This study aimed to find out the effectiveness of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model in terms of students' understanding in mathematical concepts. The population of this research was the students of X IPA at SMA Negeri 1 Seputih Surabaya in the second semester in academic year of 2018/2019 as many as 125 students and distributed into four classes. The research sample were all students of class X IPA 1 and X IPA 2 who were selected through purposive sampling. The design was used in this research was the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The data analysis of the research showed that the increasing of students’ understanding of mathematical concepts who took Creative Problem Solving (CPS) was higher than increasing of student’ understanding of mathematical concepts who took conventional learning. The conclution of this study was the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model was effective in terms of students’ understanding in mathematical concepts

The Influence of Discovery Learning Model Towards Student’s Mathematical Concept Comprehension.This experimental research aimed to know the Influence of discovery learning model towards student’s mathematical concept comprehension. The population of this research was all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Natar in academic year 2018/2019 as many as 300 students that were distributed into11 classes.The sampling was done by purposif sampling technique and it was chosen students of VIII A as many as 25 students and VIII B as many as 30 students as samples. The design used was the randomized pretest-posttest control grup design. The data in this researh were obtained by mathematical concept comprehension test.The data analysis of this research used t-test. Based on the result of research, it was concluded discovery learning model have an effect on students conceptual understanding of mathematics. Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning Ditinjau dari Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis
This experimental research aimed to find out the effectiveness of discovery learning model in terms of students’ mathematics communication . The population of this research was all students of grade 8 in Junior High School no 21 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2016/2017 speading into 11 classes. The samples of this research were students of VIII A and VIII D class which were chosen by cluster random sampling technique. This research used the pretest–posttest control group design. By the results of data analysis mathematical communication skill who treated by discovery leaerning more than the students who tread by conventional learning. The students who treated by dicovery learning less than 60%. The data analysis this research used t test and proportion test. Based on the results of the research and discussion it was concluded that the implementation of discovery learning model wasn’t effective viewed by students mathematical communication skill. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A dan VIII D yang dipilih dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest–posttest control group design. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji-t dan uji proporsi. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran discovery lebih tinggi daripada yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran discovery memiliki kemampuan komunikasi terkategori baik kurang dari 60% dari banyak siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran discovery learning tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Efektivitas Model Problem Based Learning Ditinjau dari Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa
This study aimed to find out the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in terms of students' understanding mathematical concepts. The population of this study was all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Natar in the even semester of the academic year of 2018/2019 as many as 126 students that distributed into four classes. Two classes were randomly taken as samples with one class as the experimental class and one class as the control class. This study used the randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The research data was obtained through a essay test of the comparison. Data analysis of this research used . The results showed the increasing of students’ understanding of mathematical concepts who took PBL was higher than increasing of students’ understanding of mathematical concepts of who took conventional learning, but the proportion of students who had a well-defined mathematical concept was not more than 60% of students who took PBL. Thus, PBL was not effective in terms of students' understanding mathematical concepts.Keywords: effectiveness, understanding mathematical concepts problem based learnin
