    The The Effect of Leadership and Compensation on Employee Performance with Motivation as Moderating Variables at the Pangeran Hotel Pekanbaru

    Purpose: Employees are always required to give good performance to the company where they work, as well as employees at Hotel Prince Pekanbaru. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effect of the leadership variable on performance and the direct and indirect influence of the compensation variable on employee performance and the influence of motivation on performance. Design/methodology/approach: Data analysis was carried out using the SEM model using the Smart PLS version 3.00 program. Findings: The results of this study conclude that leadership has a significant effect on performance, leadership is mediated by motivation on performance, compensation has a significant effect on performance and compensation has an indirect effect on performance, and motivation has a significant effect on employee performance at Hotel Pangeran Pekanbaru. Research limitations/implications: The sample used was 87 employees, and the data used were primary and secondary data obtained through questionnaires and research files.     Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the supply chain of Kerinci coffee agricultural products on the value added of the agricultural economy of Jambi Province. Design/methodology/approach: To improve coffee supply chain performance, innovation is needed through a value added approach between business actors using a transparency approach and supply chain management. Findings: The trend of coffee commodity demand continues to increase with an average value of coffee consumption needs per year of 1.2 kg per capita / year in 2019, even Indonesia is the 3rd largest coffee producer in the world.     Purpose: Shipping is the world's largest trade and also one of the most dangerous. Safety of life at sea, the environment at sea, and 80% of world trade depend on professional and competent seafarers. Ziarati (2006) identified that poor communication as one of the most significant factors in accidents at sea and ports. SMCP is a collection of words or phrases in English which is supported by the international community means of communication at sea then developed and adapted to IMO (International Maritime Organization) standards. SMCP aims to explain external communication phrases such as communication between ships, between ships and land parties such as ports. The main goal is to reduce language problems in communicating at sea and also to avoid misunderstandings that can lead to accidents. So, it is possible to learn vocabulary in SMCP to achieve maximum results if it is done in a pleasant atmosphere. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method. Findings: In this study, the result in question was the use of games to support the learning of maritime English SMCP vocabulary.     The impact of rural land utilization, which further affects the spatial structure and efficiency of rural ecosystems. With recession, the spatial distribution of dwelling values was more heterogeneous and decoupled from the socioeconomic profile of local contexts, with the highest growth rate recorded in accessible rural districts and coastal areas - including islands. So for this, challenge for Indonesia. The best 3 journals are well established, with good editor and good article. None by source, from Indonesia, documents per year by source. Indonesia only 1(one) by funding sponsor, Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian. Indonesia better support more funding sponsor for Green Rural Infrastructure and Rural Economic Recession. Indonesia, totally 270,277 document SCOPUS.COM since 1849, dominant documents by subject area, Engineering, followed by Environmental Science and Physics and Astronomy. So this is connected between Indonesia research publication by subject area trend and world trend in Green Rural Infrastructure and Rural Economic Recession. Indonesia only 1(one) affiliation with Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang, in SCOPUS.COM from 1986 to 2023 have 2,082 documents, dominant subject area with Environmental Science, Earth and Planetary Sciences, Engineering, Agricultural and Biological Sciences, and Medicine. So there are connection between Green Rural Infrastructure, Rural Economic Recession, and research trend in Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang, Indonesia

    The Impact of Work Motivation and Employee Development on Surabaya City's Fire Fighting and Rescue Department Employee Performance

    Purpose: The City of Surabaya's rescue and fire departments plays a crucial role in government administration in the areas of community protection for firefighters and public peace and order. The goal of this study was to evaluate how employee development and job motivation impacted the performance of firefighters and rescue workers in Surabaya. Design/methodology/approach: Descriptive quantitative and case study methodologies are the research methodology applied. Techniques for collecting data are questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis is used in the analysis, and SPSS 26 is used to process the data. Findings: According to the study's findings, the variable Work Motivation (X2) is 4.079 > t table value of 1.684, while the variable Employee Development (X1) is partially positive and significant at 5.746 > t table value of 1.684. The concurrently determined F value of 103.004 > F table of 2.32 is positively and significantly impacted by the employee development factors (X1) and work motivation (X2), respectively. Practical Implication:  The government will use the practical implications as a starting point for evaluating the Fire and Rescue Service employee ’s performance policies.     Factors Affecting College Students' Entrepreneurial Intention

    Purpose: The high unemployment rate triggers everyone to set up a small and medium business. Educated people tend not to be interested in pursuing entrepreneurship. This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education, family environment, income expectations on student entrepreneurial intention. Design/methodology/approach: This research is a quantitative research using the survey method. The population in this study was active students at STIE Cendekia Bojonegoro in 2020 with 427. With the Slovin formula approach, 206 students were assigned as research respondents, where the sample was taken using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Findings: Research data collection is done through the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study used a multiple linear regression test. The analysis results found that the Family Environment variable had no significant effect on entrepreneurial intention.     Purpose: The aim of research to proved and analyzed strategy to improve cooperative performance through organizational culture, innovation in mediation with entrepreneurship orientation in surabaya city. Design/methodology/approach: The type of this research was surveying research and the data from questionnaire will be as primer data. Findings: The results showed that organizational culture positive and significant effect against the entrepreneurial orientation, innovation is a positive and significant effect against the entrepreneurial orientation, organizational culture positive and significant effect performance improvement strategies towards cooperative, positive effect not significant innovation strategy improved performance of cooperatives, entrepreneurial orientation effect positive and significant performance improvement strategies against the cooperative. Research limitations/implications: The data collected were declared valid and reliable, then processed for analysis using structural equation model or Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).     Optimization of Implementation of Crane Certification in Contruction Service Companies

    Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of accelerating the implementation of work and the costs needed for the job of occupational safety and health certification in the Construction services company in East Java province. Design/methodology/approach: This study used a survey method carried out on 20 crane units in 4 construction service companies by analyzing data using Critical Path Method (CPM), resulting in an acceleration of inspection and testing of crane up to 37% with cost efficiency of  36 %. Findings: The results of this study are expected to provide an overview of Crane's reliability as early as possible to users to anticipate operational failures through regular maintenance and repairs. Research limitations/implications: This study can also determine the timing of inspection and testing in the context of implementing the Crane Occupational Safety and Health certification so that the use of resources can be optimized. Practical implications: With the implementation of inspection and testing, certification can be fulfilled before the certification period ends.     Risk Analysis as a Factor Affecting the Performance of Sharia Commercial Banks

    Purpose: This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the performance of sharia commercial banks by using Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE) as dependent variables. The independent variables used are Non-Performing Financing (NPF), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), profit-sharing financing and derivative liabilities which are proxies of risk analysis. The sample used is 63 sharia commercial bank financial statements for the period 2016-2020.   Design/methodology/approach: This study uses quantitative method and multiple regression analysis with SPSS Version 25 Findings: The results of this study indicate that the variables of NPF, profit-sharing financing and derivative liabilities have an effect on ROA. Meanwhile, the variables that affect ROE are only NPF and derivative liabilities. Research limitations/implications: This research is expected to be a guideline for management and other stakeholders in considering the results of banking performance as measured by ROA and ROE by looking at credit risk analysis as measured by NPF, FDR, profit-sharing financing, and derivative liabilities. These considerations are expected to have a good effect on attracting depositors and convincing them to invest their funds. The financial reports that have been prepared are then reported to Bank Indonesia and shareholders in order to increase transparency in the eyes of stakeholders. Practical implications: Research conducted on sharia commercial banks shows good results for the bank management and other stakeholders. There are several things that need to be considered, such as reviewing financial performance whether it is in accordance with policy and is able to bring sharia commercial banks into healthier banks.
