    Analysis the Effect of Profitability, Current Ratio, and Ownership Structure on Firm Value

    Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, current ratio and ownership structure on firm value and dividend policy as moderation, in manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2020-2023. Design/methodology/approach: This research uses an associative method approach and the analysis uses multiple liner regression analysis and moderation regression analysis (MRA). Findings: Profitability, current ratio and ownership structure have a positive effect on firm value. As for the results of the MRA test analysis that dividend policy can moderate profitability, current ratio, and ownership structure affect firm value. Paper type: Research paper

    Optimizing Employee Performance

    Purpose: This study is aimed at analyzing the influence of emotional intelligence, competence, and career development on employee performance at UPTD PSDA WS Cimanuk-Cisanggarung. Design/methodology/approach: The study applied a quantitative research survey approach, involving 75 ASN and Non-ASN employees. Findings: The findings of this research paper indicate that emotional intelligence (t-value = 4.710 > t-table = 1.946, Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), competence (t-value = 3.244 > t-table = 1.946, Sig. = 0.002 < 0.05), and career development (t-value = 4.724 > t-table = 1.946, Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05) all have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Among these factors, career development exhibits the strongest influence. Research limitations/implications: The scope of this research is restricted to a sample of employees at UPTD PSDA WS Cimanuk-Cisanggarung, therefore the results may not be generalizable to other organizations. In addition, this study examines uses three independent variables without considering other factors that may also affect employee performance. Practical implications: This study provides recommendations for UPTD PSDA WS Cimanuk-Cisanggarung to provide more equitable career development opportunities, improve training programs, and strengthen emotional intelligence in the work environment to improve overall employee performance. Originality/value: This research offers a comprehensive understanding of the significance of emotional intelligence, competence, and career development in enhancing employee performance, particularly within Indonesia’s public sector organizations.     The Effect of Employee Performance and Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction at Snacks at Indofood Fortuna Makmur Sales Poin Sidoarjo

    Purpose: To determine the effect of employee performance and service quality on customer satisfaction at Indofood Fortuna Makmur Company. Design/Methodology/Approach: Descriptive quantitative methods were used in this study. The research instrument was a questionnaire distributed to participants. All participants in the current research were company staff members. Indofood Fortuna Makmur Company, with a population of 1,130 and a sample of 296. Data analysis techniques used regression and data processing with the help of SmartPLS 4.0 software. Findings: Employee performance has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. This is evidenced by the path coefficient value of 0.075, t-statistic of 2.209 (>1.96), and p-value of 0.027 (<0.05). Service quality has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a path coefficient value of 0.803, t-statistic of 42.177, and p-value of 0.000. Employee performance and service quality simultaneously have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. This is evidenced by the R-Square value of 0.682, which means that 68.2% of the variation in customer satisfaction can be explained by these two variables. This demonstrates how, all at once, the variables of employee performance (X1) and service quality (X2) have a favorable and noteworthy impact on the performance of employees (Y) at Indofood Fortuna Makmur Company. Research limitations/implications: The findings of this study are expected to be used as a reference by subsequent researchers. Practical implications: With the findings of this study, it is expected that Indofood Fortuna Makmur Company .can create a supportive work environment, improving optimal employee performance.     The Influence of IT affordance and Seller attributes on Consumer Trust on Fashion Live Streaming and its impact on Purchase Intention

    Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyse the influence of visibility, guidance shopping, seller verbal attractiveness and seller interactivity on consumer trust in fashion live streaming, and to examine the impact of this trust on consumers' purchase intentions in fashion live streaming. Design/methodology/approach: This study uses the S-O-R theory as the basis for developing the research model. The approach used is quantitative. The respondents of this study are consumers of fashion live streaming in Indonesia, with 372 respondents' data being processed using SEM PLS tools. Findings: The results of this study indicate that consumer trust in fashion live streaming significantly impacts the increase in consumers' purchase intentions. The study also shows that consumer trust in fashion live streaming is influenced by seller verbal attractiveness, seller interactivity, and visibility , guidance shopping.     The Influence of Financial Literacy, Business Networking, and Entrepreneurial Orientation on MSME Performance in Surabaya with Market Orientation as a Moderating Variable

    This study investigates the influence of financial literacy, business networking, and entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Surabaya, with market orientation as a moderating variable. A quantitative approach was employed, and data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 99 MSME owners and managers. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied to analyze the data. The results indicate that financial literacy and entrepreneurial orientation significantly enhance MSME performance, whereas business networking shows no significant impact. Furthermore, market orientation does not moderate the relationship between financial literacy or business networking and MSME performance. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening entrepreneurs’ financial capabilities and entrepreneurial orientation to improve MSME competitiveness and sustainability. &nbsp

    The Influence of Compensation, Competence, Work Environment, and Job Placement on Employee Per-formance at PT XYZ Cigarette Industry in Pasuruan with Motivation as an Intervening Variable

    This study aims to examine how compensation, competence, job placement, and work environment influence employee performance, with motivation acting as an intervening variable. The research is conducted within the context of the cigarette industry in Pasuruan, Indonesia. Given the industry's challenges, such as rising excise taxes and regulatory pressures, it is crucial to understand these organizational factors to enhance workforce effectiveness. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The study involved 52 technical employees electronic division at PT XYZ, selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed with SmartPLS 3.0. The findings show that compensation has a significant effect on employee performance. In contrast, competence, work environment, and job placement have no significant direct effect on employee performance. Compensation, competence, and job placement do not significantly affect motivation, while work environment has a significant positive effect on motivation. Furthermore, motivation significantly improves employee performance. Regarding the mediating role of motivation, the results indicate that motivation does not mediate the relationship between compensation and performance, competence and performance, nor job placement and performance. However, motivation is proven to mediate the effect of work environment on performance. These findings emphasize the strategic importance of creating a supportive work environment and enhancing motivation to improve employee performance

    Access to financing is vital for the growth of entrepreneurial firms in emerging economies like South Africa. Technological innovations such as blockchain can reduce transaction costs and disrupt traditional models, offering benefits like reliability, trust, security, and efficiency. However, adoption barriers persist, including infrastructure limitations and the emerging nature of the technology. This study employs a quantitative approach to investigate factors affecting the adoption of blockchain technology among employees of entrepreneurial financing firms through an online survey. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling and Artificial Neural Network Analysis (PLS-SEM ANN), the findings indicate that facilitating conditions, social influence, anxiety, and attitude significantly impact the behavioral intention to adopt blockchain, while effort expectancy, performance expectancy, and self-efficacy do not. The study recommends creating supportive environments, leveraging social networks, addressing anxiety, and fostering positive attitudes toward blockchain. It suggests investing in infrastructure, increasing awareness of blockchain benefits, improving communication to alleviate anxieties, and showcasing success stories to enhance adoptio

    STRATEGIZING THE DEVELOPMENT OF MSME IN DISTRICT X

    Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a business segment that has the potential to grow and become one of the backbones of economic development in Indonesia, one of which is in Regency X. In order to support the achievement of the vision and mission of Regency X, the government of Regency X intends to spur the development of MSMEs in its region by providing an MSME development program that aims to help MSMEs to develop into one of the pillars of regional economic development in Regency X by encouraging tourism development and encouraging the development of the creative economy (startup). This study uses quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative approach was carried out to obtain influential criteria for the development of MSMEs in Regency X which were then analyzed by the Cochran Q Test, the results of the selected criteria were continued with the calculation of the weights of internal factors and external factors, the calculation of the Internal Strategic Factors Analysis Summary (IFAS) and External Strategic Factors Analysis Summary (EFAS) matrices, determination of the SWOT analysis cartesian diagram and SWOT matrix. A qualitative approach was used to explore information on internal and external factors affecting the development of MSMEs in Kabupaten X and determine MSME development strategies based on the IFAS and EFAS matrices from the SWOT analysis results

    The Effect of Social Influence and Brand Image on Brand Awareness and Purchase Intention Study Case

    This study examines the relationships between social influence, brand image, brand awareness, and purchase intention in consumer behavior. The primary goal is to analyze how social influence and brand image contribute to brand awareness and purchase intention. By exploring these dynamics, the research offers insights into consumer decision-making processes. Using empirical analysis and statistical techniques, the study provides actionable implications for marketers aiming to enhance brand awareness and drive purchase intention in today's competitive market. The findings reveal that brand image has the strongest correlation with purchase intention (H4) with a t-statistic of 6.013. Significant relationships are also found between social influence and brand awareness (H1) with a t-statistic of 5.050, brand awareness and purchase intention (H5) with a t-statistic of 3.536, and brand image and brand awareness (H2) with a t-statistic of 3.297. Conversely, the relationship between social influence and purchase intention (H3) is not significant, indicated by a t-statistic of 0.503. Thus, hypotheses for H1, H2, H4, and H5 are accepted, while H3 is rejected. This study enriches existing knowledge by clarifying the relationships between social influence, brand image, brand awareness, and purchase intention. These insights are crucial for marketers who aim to leverage social influence and brand image to boost brand awareness and drive purchase intention. The findings highlight the pivotal role of brand image in influencing purchase decisions and the importance of social influence in building brand awareness, offering a strategic framework for effective marketing strategies
