Exploring the Interplay between Floss Adoption and Organisational Innovation
Growing research on Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) has addressed a variety of questions focussing on aspects ranging from open source development processes and developer motivation, to economic and policy-making implications. Nevertheless, a few authors have examined the adoption of FLOSS and its impact on organisational change and innovation. Adoption studies represent a particularly promising area for information system researchers to investigate the relationship between the specific properties of FLOSS and the processes of implementation and use. The goal of this paper is to contribute to this field of research by discussing a former multi-targeted research agenda and by defining an empirically grounded framework for studying FLOSS adoption, drawing on the outcomes of an exploratory multiple case study involving 16 Italian public administrations.Growing research on Free/Libre Open Source Software (FLOSS) has addressed a variety of questions focussing on aspects ranging from open source development processes and developer motivation, to economic and policy-making implications.
Does Generation Matter in Strategic Change Implementation? Effects of the Age on Change Propensity of Managers After a Privatization
The aim of this paper is to find evidence of managers’ generation effects on a component of
resistance to change: the cognitive rigidity. We analyzed data collected during 88 interviews to
managers of 16 social security organizations that were transformed by law from public into private
entities. These organizations needed to have managers with a new idea of their responsibility.
Findings suggest a positive relationship of cognitive rigidity with (old) generation and (high) tenure
and a negative relationship with a heterogeneous experience. The aim of this paper is to find evidence of managers’ generation effects on a component of

Single Sign-On in Cloud Computing Scenarios: A Research Proposal
Cloud computing and Software as a Service infrastructure are becoming important factors in E-commerce and E-business processes. Users may access simultaneously to different E-services supplied by several providers. An efficient approach to authenticate and authorize users is needed to avoid problems about trust and redundancy of procedure. In this paper we will focus on main approaches in managing Authentication and Authorization Infrastructures (AAI): i.e. federated and centralized and cloud based. Then we will discuss about related some critical issues in Cloud computing and SaaS contexts and will highlight the possible future researches.Cloud computing and Software as a Service infrastructure are becoming important factors in E-commerce and E-business processes.
