KEANEKARAGAMAN DAN KOMPOSISI IKAN PADA KONDISI PASANG DAN SURUT DI MUARA SUNGAI KELAY KABUPATEN BERAU KALIMANTAN TIMUR
Research on diversity and composition of fish at low tide and high tide condition in downstream Kelay River, District Berau, East Kalimantan is not yet know. The purpose of this research was to determine diversity and composition of fish that present at low tide and high tide condition in downstream Kelay River. In research using purposive sampling method and various sizes gill nets used. Results of this research shows that fish were collected at three locations sampling in downstream Kelay River consist of 14 species, 9 families, and 953 individuals. Based on the number of species, diversity Shannon-Wiener index and dominance index has stable of communities, with high value of diversity index (H'=1.975), high evenness index (E=0.749), and low value of dominance index (D= 0.173). The number of fish species found at low tide were 11 species and at high tide were 12 species. The similarity index of fish species at low tide and high tide condition were 64.3%
NILAI RUJUKAN UNTUK EVALUASI FUNGSI HATI DAN GINJAL PADA TIKUS (Rattus norvegicus Berkenhout, 1769) GALUR WISTAR
Evaluation of liver and renal functions are routine tests performed in preclinical studies. Liver plays a role in detoxification and secretion of various substances to regulate a wide range of metabolic functions. Kidneys serves as the main excretory and osmoregulatory organs. Thus, assessment of liver and renal functions are important in identifying the presence of damages and diseases as well as monitoring body responses towards treatments or therapy. Therefore, normal values should be established for valid reference. Until now, many researchers still use references from various publications, including foreign countries with different environmental factors and method of animals care. This study was aimed to provide reference values for liver and renal functions in male and female Wistar rats. Animals were sourced from LPPT-UGM. Age 4-, 6-, and 8-week-old represent juvenile, preadult, and adult. Blood samples were collected from orbital sinus of anesthetized animals. Sera were tested for ALT, AST, BUN, and creatinine based on spectrophotometry. Results demonstrated that values of most parameters varied, depend on sex and age. According to this finding, it can be concluded that reference values cannot be generalized but must be determined by sex and age in local population
HISTOLOGI JARINGAN MANTEL TIRAM (SAIBO) PADA BEBERAPA JENIS BIVALVIA SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF IMPLANTASI MUTIARA
All types of bivalves have the potential to produce pearls. Pearls can be produced naturally and cultivated. In cultured pearls, pearl sac are obtained from saibo (slices of another bivalve mantle) that which come from pallial zone. This study wants know the structures of tissues saibo of several species of bivalves as an alternative pearls implantation. This study is conducted from January to March 2017. This study used 7 types of bivalves among others; Pinctada margaritifera, Saccostrea cucullata, Asaphis violascens, Polymesoda bengalensis, Pinna muricata, Volachlamys singaporina, and Tridacna crocea. The method used by staining Hematoxylin-Eosin. UPAYA MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIKA MELALUI DISKUSI KELOMPOK BERBANTUAN ALAT PERAGA
AbstractThe group discussion is the activity of a group of students, speaking exchanging information and opinions on a topic, where each student wants to find answers to all the possibilities. This study aims to find out and analyze the improvement of understanding the concept of mathematics students of class IX A SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak after the learning of mathematics through discussion groups assisted props. This study is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles, with the help of teacher and student activity observation sheets, student activity sheets for group discussion and test result of learning. Based on the results of data analysis, there is an increased understanding of mathematical concepts of students Through the implementation of teaching-assisted group discussion of learning aids occur increased student activity in learning. An increase in the percentage of student activity from cycles I and cycle II by 18%. Through the implementation of learning group-assisted discussion of visual aids, there was an increase in the understanding of mathematical concepts of students from cycle I and cycle II seen from the results of concept comprehension tests provided, there was an average score increase of 9.45 and a 22.85% increase in the percentage of mastery. PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA BERBASIS MACROMEDIA FLASH TOPIK BAHASAN PESAWAT SEDERHANA
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) mengetahui proses pengembangan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis macromedia flash topik bahasan pesawat sederhana kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak, 2) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis macromedia flash topik bahasan pesawat sederhana kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak, 3) mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis macromedia flash topik bahasan pesawat sederhana kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 12 Pontianak berdasarkan dengan model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan Robert Maribe Branch dengan model ADDIE, yang diadaptasi sesuai dengan pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini ada lima tahap penelitian, yaitu: 1) analysis, 2) design, 3) development, 4) implementation, 5) evaluation. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) kelayakan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis macromedia flash dapat dilihat dari hasil penilaian ahli media mendapatkan rata-rata skor 80 dengan kriteria layak, sedangkan untuk hasil penilaian dari ahli materi mendapatkan rata-rata skor 82,67 dengan kriteria sangat layak, 2) respon siswa terhadap penggunaan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis macromedia flash adalah 86,6 dengan kriteria sangat layak, 3) keefektifan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis macromedia flash dapat dilihat setelah siswa menggunakan media pembelajaran fisika berbasis macromedia flash, diperoleh rata-rata nilai pretest 65,9 dan nilai posttest 85,5.Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, Macromedia Flash, Pesawat sederhan
PENGEMBANGAN KOMPETENSI SIKAP DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SECARA HOLISTIK BERSUMBER QUR’AN
AbstractThis study aims to describe the process of developing spiritual and social attitudes competencies, in a holistic learning of mathematics sourced in the Qur'an. Qualitative research is applied in the preparation of teaching materials based on the integration of core competencies of revised Curriculum-13, and the development of attitude competencies in mathematics learning based on the Qur'anic. The subjects of the study were SMP / MTs students in the lessons of Straight Line Equation. The research data includes documents, learning recordings, and interviews, and it’s analyzed using the Miles & Huberman Method. The study resulted in: (1) mathematics teaching materials on the topic of the Straight Line Equations sourced of the Qur'anic (al Anfal) verses 65-66, to teach holistically, (2) The process of developing competency attitudes is carried out as long as the learning takes place from introduction to closing the lesson. In developing a spiritual attitude, two students are assigned to read the verses of the Qur’an and their translations, then discuss the content of mathematics. Students are aroused by curiosity with questions about verse, working collaboratively with friends, choosing the best ideas (tolerant), and being responsible for completing tasks. In developing skills and knowledge competencies, students are guided to achieve the process of modeling problems related to the Qur'anic verses, so that they find problem solving procedures, or mathematical concepts from the topics studied.Keywords: attitude competency development, holistic mathematics learning.
PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR MAHASISWA MELALUI IMPLEMENTASI PERKULIAHAN IPBA BERBASIS SAINS DAN TEKNOLOGI TERINTEGRASI
AbstractThis study aims to determine the improvement of students' thinking skills through the Earth and Space Science (IPBA) lectures that integrate science activities with interactive multimedia and local science. The research method used was experimental design (quasy experiment) with comparative group of pretest-posttest group design. Data collection techniques that will be done are measurement techniques in the form of students' thinking skills tests and surveys in the form of student and lecturer responses to the lectures are held. Physics education student semester 4 academic year 2016/2017 will participate as research subject. The results showed that the increase (N-gain) of students' thinking skill in experimental class was 0,70 and control class was 0,40 (both medium category). By using Paired Sample Test obtained tcount = 8,338 at significance level P = 0,000. The significance level is less than 0.05 (P <α), so it can be concluded that the application of lectures that integrate local science and technology in IPBA lectures can improve students' thinking skills significantly compared with conventional lectures.Keywords: high order thinking skills, earth and space science, multimedia interaktif.
IDENTIFICATION OF HAZARDOUS CHEMICAL AND MICROBES CONTAMINATION IN FOODS OF STREET VENDORS AROUND IAIN SYEKH NURJATI CIREBON
This study aimed at identifying chemical and microorganism contamination in foods of street vendors around Institut Agama Islam (IAIN) Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. The samples are meatball, cilok, grilled fish cake, nuggets, rolade, sauce, crackers, and iced water drinks. The sample tests are formalin test, borax test, Rodhamine B test, Methanyl Yellow test, and Coliform & Escherichia coli MPN test. The results showed that some food samples like meatball, cilok, grilled fish cake, nuggets,and rolade were positive of formalin & borax contaminated. The iced water drinks are contaminated by Coliform & E. coli. The other samples like sauce and crackers were negative of Rhodamine B & Methanyl Yellow contaminated. In conclusion, according to this study, the foods of street vendors at IAIN Cirebon are not yet safe to be consumed
EKSPERIMENTASI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN NHT DAN SNOWBALL THROWING PADA MATERI BANGUN RUANG SISI DATAR KELAS VIII SMP AL-NUR CIBINONG
AbstractThe aim of the research was to find out the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement. The learning model compared were NHT(Numbered Head Together), snowball throwing and convensional. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental by 3×1 factorial design. The population was the eight grade student of junior high school in Cibinong district on academic year 2017/2018. The sampling tecnique was cluster random sampling. The size of the sampel was 103 students consisted of 36 students in the first experimental group, 34 students in the second experimental group and 33 students in third experimental group. The instruments used were mathematics achievement test. The data was analyzed using unbalanced one-way analysis of variance. The conclusions of the research was NHT learning model gives better mathematics achievement than Snowball Throwing and convensional learning model, and snowball throwing learning model give better mathematics achievement than convensional learning model.Keywords: NHT, Snowball throwing, mathematics achievemen
