PENGGUNAAN MULTIMEDIA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEORI KINETIK GAS DI SMA/MA NEGERI DAN SWASTA KECAMATAN SAMBAS
Using Multimedia in Learning Kinetic Gas Theory in SMA / MA Public and Private District of Sambas. This study aims to see changes in student learning outcomes after learning using multimedia by comparing the value of the learning outcomes of the pre-test and post-test. Quasi-experimental methods used in this study with one group pretest-posttest design. Research subjects choose three of four SMA/ MA Public and Private District of Sambas which has a program of Natural Sciences, SMA Negeri 1 Sambas (20 students), MAN Sambas (19 students), and SMA Santo Bonaventura (16 students). Based on the data analysis and discussion, the average percentage of learning outcomes pre-test on Gas Kinetic Theory of 53.68% of the 55 students. While the average percentage of learning outcomes post-test 69.04% of the 55 students. The increase in the average percentage of student learning outcomes in the material Kinetic Theory of Gases using multimedia for 15.37%. The results of calculations using the McNemar test, of the total ten questions occur to improving student learning outcomes Gas Kinetic Theory of matter between before and after learning using multimedia, which calculate the average X2 mean = 9.10 and X2table mean = 3.84 this means that the calculated X2hitung > X2table. This research aim to to increase activity and result of learning student by exploiting multimedia in course of learning to teach in SMA Country 1 Great River. Peculiarly this research aim to 1) Analyzing how far Acquirement learn the student in intellectual efficiency domain at trig items after taught with the exploiting multimedia 2) Mendeskripsikan Respon student of at trig items after taught with the exploiting multimedia 3) Mendeskripsikan of Pattern aktifitas learn the student of at trig items after taught with the exploiting multimedia.Hereinafter pursuant to research result indicate that the exploiting multimedia in course of mathematics study of at trig items can improve the activity and result of learning student. PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN SISWA PADA MATERI KOLOID MENGGUNAKAN PEMBELAJARAN MODEL SIKLUS BELAJAR 5E KELAS XI SMAN 2 PONTIANAK
The purposes of this study are 1) to determine difference of conceptual understanding of SMA 2 Pontianak students before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model on colloid subject matter, and 2) to describe conceptual understanding of SMAN 2 Pontianak Students before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model on colloid material. This study was conducted in form of pre experimental design. Independent variables were learning before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model. Dependent variable was students conceptual understanding. To collect data, assessment technique was applied and achievement test was used to get data. Data were analyzed by means of inferential and descriptive statistic. Result of statistic showed P-value = 0,000 < α = 0.05 which means that there was a difference of students conceptual understanding before and after being taught through 5E learning cycle model on colloid subject matter. Improvement of students conceptual understanding was 0,31 which means on average level. Key words: conceptual understanding, 5E learning cycle model
HUBUNGAN PANJANG TUBUH DAN RASIO PAPILLA DENGAN JENIS KELAMIN PADA IKAN GOBI (Sicyopterus macrostetholepis Blkr.)
Research about relationship of body length and ratio papilla with sex in goby fish (S. macrostetholepis Blkr.) has been done at Animal Structure and Developmental Laboratory, Biology Department, Faculty of Matematics and Natural Sciences, Andalas University, Padang, which purposed to analyse the relationship of body length and ratio papilla with sex of goby fish (S. macrostetholepis Blkr.). The samples were taken at wild stream area at Batang Kuranji river, Padang City. This reseach used descriptive method and data were analized by qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of investigation showed that in several goby fish (S. macrostetholepis Blkr.) with different sex had the same of body length and the same of ratio papilla. So, there was not relationship between of body length and ratio papilla with sex. Keyword: Papilla, S. macrostetholepis Blkr
DESKRIPSI KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN BIOLOGI MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS PRAKTIKUM PADA MATA KULIAH TAKSONOMI TUMBUHAN
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa pendidikan biologi melalui pembelajaran berbasis praktikum pada mata kuliah taksonomi tumbuhan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa reguler A program studi pendidikan biologi semester IV tahun akademik 2012/2013 FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak yang terdiri dari 33 orang. Data mengenai keterampilan proses mahasiswa diperoleh dari tes tertulis. Untuk mengetahui deskripsi keterampilan proses mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis praktikum digunakan analisis deskriptif dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persentase keterampilan proses pada setiap indikator berada dalam kategori sedang yaitu sebesar 46.75%. Indikator keterampilan proses sains yang berada pada kategori tinggi yakni memprediksi sebesar 69.69%, sedangkan yang berada pada kategori sangat rendah yakni hipotesis sebesar 12.12%. Secara berurutan persentase indikator keterampilan proses dari hasil penelitian, yaitu memprediksi (69.69%), mengamati (66.66%), merencanakan percobaan (57.57%), keterampilan menyimpulkan (54.54%), mengajukan pertanyaan (39.39%), interpretasi data (27.27%) dan hipotesis(12.12%). EFEKTIVITAS PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NHT (NUMBERED HEADS TOGETHER) DENGAN MEDIA VISUAL TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADAMATERI ORGANISASI KEHIDUPAN DI KELAS VII SMP REHOBOTH
This research is aimed to determine the effectivity of cooperative learning model through Numbered Heads Together (NHT) by visual media on students’ achievement in material life organization of VII grade SMP Rehoboth. The research is quasi experimental design, with nonequivalen control group design. The research samples are VIIa and VIIb grade. The technique of data collecting is by using random sampling. The average score of the students’ achievement that has been teach by using Numbered Heads Together (NHT) of cooperative learning model with visual media is 14,89 as higher than the conventional model of 11,29. The t-test in standard 5% shows tcount= 5,023 bigger than its comparation to ttable = 1,679, it means there is a significant difference in the post-test result. The counting of effect size is 1,27 it includes high, so the concluded that Numbered Heads Together (NHT) of cooperative learning model with visual media gave 39,80% of contribution on students’ achievement.Key words : Numbered heads together, visual media.
PERANAN NUMBER HEADS TOGETHER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI DI KELAS XI IPA
This research motivated presence of symptoms that can be seen in the field that the biological activity and learning outcomes have not achieved the expected result of 78. The cause of the low biological activity and learning outcomes is presumably because the teacher actively describes the material, give examples, and exercises while students just listen, take notes, and do the exercises. Learning as it failed to give students the chance to discover, establish and develop his own knowledge. This type of research is done in an attempt repair of the problems mentioned above is a Classroom Action Research. Data of this research is taken using an instrument tests, observation sheet and evaluation test results are processed in a qualitative study. The results showed that by using cooperative learning type Number Heads Together can increase the activity of learning and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPA1 SMA 4 Pontianak. PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS INKUIRI UNTUK MEMBERDAYAKAN KETERAMPILAN KERJA ILMIAH DAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MAHASISWA
The aim of this study was to describe conceptual understanding and sciences process skills of students through inquiry-based learning. The study was conducted in form of one group pretest-posttest design. Thirty five students of chemistry education program of fkip untan participated. Result showed difference of sciences process skills and conceptual understanding of students, before and after inquiry based-learning. Sciences process skills of students improved from 0% to 52% and 16% to 40% on very skilled and skilled categories respectively. Furthermore, conceptual understanding of students improved from 15% to 89%. To conclude, inquiry-based learning was able to improve conceptual understanding and sciences process skills of students. UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK-PAIR-SHARE (TPS) DALAM MATERI TEKANAN KELAS VIII SMPN I KALIS
The aim of this research is to find out the improvement of students learning output use cooperative learning teaching type think pair share (TPS). The form of research is the classroom action research consisting of two cycles with the steps of planning, action, observation and reflection. The subject of this research is students grade 8 of SMPN 1 Kalis. Quantitative data is taken from the pretest and postest, then is defined the average scores. The result of this research shows that there is an improvement of average of learning output is 33,75 in the first cycles and then the second cycles is 41,25. The increase of completion of the learning output is the first cycles is 90,63 %, while the second is 93,75 %. The observation result of the learning prosess showed that the students learning activities improved and it affected the students learning output. The learning process use cooperative learning model with think pair share type is expected to be used by physics teachers to teach.
