    UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KEAKTIFAN BELAJAR MAHASISWA PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA DENGAN PENDEKATAN PROBLEM POSING

    Problems in learning introductory computer science which need urgent solution is the problem related with the students learning actinevess. Along with the approach of problem posing, problem solving efforts above got the right momentum. Learning approach used in this research is problem posing approach. The purpose of the research is to increase students’ learning activeness. This research activity involves two lecturers and 21 students in course of introduction of computer science at semester 4 academic year of 2015/2016. The data collected using the students activity sheet and analyzed in qualitative descriptive. Based on the results of data analysis it is known that the use of the problem posing approach can raise average students learning on the activeness of cycle 1 that included in the category of low and at cycle 2 is included in the category of middle.     Guided discovery learning is a learning that invites students to actively discover the concept / knowledge through a series of activities. Guided discovery learning can be integrated in teaching modules to make learning more effective and self-reliant. This study aimed to integrate guided discovery learning in spermatophyta module for biology education students. This research is an explorative research with stages include curriculum analysis, subject matter analysis, learning model analysis, and integration of learning model in the Module. Data source in the form of book document, expert opinion, and spermatophyta module. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis result, it is found that guided discovery guided discovery integrated in module include stimulation, problem statement, data collection, verification, generalization . The guided discovery guided synthesis is integrated into 3 subspaces on spermatophyta material 1) classification, determination, and nomenclature of plants, 2) spermatophyta (seed plants); 3) high plant herbarium.     ABSTRAKThis research purposed to obtain the overview of mathematical disposition of student mathematics education, especially the students who took number theory subject. In obtaining these overview will be applied by humanis mathematics learning model. The specific purpose of this research are: 1) describe mathematics disposition of the students; 2) describe the process of application model to increase mathematic dispositions of the student; 3) describe the effectiveness of application model. The purposes are achieved through several stages, including: 1) analyze the theoretical; 2) explore the characteristics of a mathematical disposition; (3) identify and analyze problems; (4) reviewing the learning model; (5) applying model to increase mathematic dispositions that based on observation; 6) gives a questionnaire about mathematical disposition; and 7) analyzing the data. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Based on the purpose that disclosed, the results of research: 1) mathematical disposition of the students after the application model, shows 74% very positive attitude; 24% positive attitude; and 2% doubtful attitude; 2) the process of application model that facilitates appearance of a mathematical disposition of the students based on ability cognitive domain, affective domain, and domain skills, showing the criteria very well and good; and 3) the application of humanis mathematics learning model effective to increase mathematics disposition of the students in Number theory subject.     DESKRIPSI KETERAMPILAN PROSES SAINS MAHASISWA CALON GURU FISIKA

    This research was conducted to reveal the science process skills of pre-service physics teacher. There were 241 students (64 men and 177 women) were given the science process skills test. Overall average science process skills score of students at 48.88 with a low category. There are seven aspects of the science process skills were revealed. The average score of predicting 41.55; classifying 41.76; interpreting data 49.37; hypothesize 49.48; plan experiments 50.26; observing 50.34 and apply concepts 59.43. Science process skills of male did not differ significantly with female (sig. 0.717> 0.05). The physic education courses need to improve science process skills of students.     ABSTRAKTujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan calon guru biologi membuat perangkat penilaian berbasis kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan subyek penelitian calon guru biologi yaitu mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah micro teaching (PPL-1) semester genap tahun ajaran 2016/2017 pada program studi Pendidikan Biologi berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan membuat perangkat penilaian berbasis kurikulum 2013. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif  dengan tahapan: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, analisis data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa calon guru biologi mampu membuat perangkat penilaian berbasis Kurikulum 2013 secara keseluruhan diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 71,08%. Secara rinci kemampuan membuat penilaian sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan berturut-turut adalah 81,67%, 70,42%, dan 69,17%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan calon guru Biologi membuat perangkat penilaian berbasis Kurikulum 2013 tergolong baik. Kata kunci: kemampuan, membuat perangkat penilaian

    This research background was by low motivation to learn mathematics in the classroom. This classroom action research is aimed to improve the motivation to learn mathematics of VIII grade SMP Negeri 3 Kubu. Classroom action research done in two cycles with 30 students. Techniques of collecting data is observation by researchers and collaborators. The data was analyzed qualitatively with the data source from the observer. The success of the model Cooperative script in declared successful, less successful or unsuccessful. Motivation indicators defined by the researchers themselves with ≥ 60% of students motivated. Indicators of motivation in this research there are four, namely: 1). Responsible, 100% 2). Challenges, 70%, 3). Inovatif, 63%, 4). Competitive, 80%. Thereby motivating student learning using Cooperative learning model type of script can improve mathematics learning in the classroom.Keywords: Student motivation, learning models Cooperative script

    This study aims to: (1) develop android based  magnet learning media in Physics Education Study Program; (2) to know the feasibility of learning media of Magnet Power based on androiddi of Physics Education Program. This research is a research and development (R & D) which refers to the model proposed by Thiagarajan by using 4-D model (Four-D Models) which consists of four stages, namely: define, design stage, development (develop), and dissemination stage (disseminate). The feasibility of android-based learning media is validated by material experts and media experts. Based on the result of data analysis, it is concluded that (1) the learning media of Android-based Magnet Electricity in Physics Education Study Program successfully developed with 4-D (Four-D Models) model that is define, design, develop, and disseminate.     This study aims to identified pollen morphology of Mangrove vegetation in Salo Palai Village, Muara Badak Sub District, Kutai Kartanegara District was done in May until July. This study using acetolisis method. Data obtained were analyzed with qualitative descriptive method to observed the shape, ornaments and also aperture. This method is measuring size, the length of the polar axis to the equatorial diameter. The result obtained shape and pollen unit is monad subspheroidal. There are size medium pollen and size large pollen. The ornaments including of 7 psilate, 2 reticulate and 2 ekinate. The aperture including of 4 inaperture, 2 tricolporate, 1 tricolpate, 1 triporate, 1 tetraporate, 1 monoporate and 1 stephanocolporate.Keywords: Vegetation, Mangrove, Pollen, Association, Identification

    This research aims to investigate the effects of Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative technique and VARK learning style student for learning School of Chemistry. This research using quasy experiment with 2 independent variables, TGT cooperative technique and VARK learning style, and 1 dependent variable, learning outcome. The subjects are students of Education of Chemistry in Muhammadiyah University. The instruments were test, documentation, and questioner. The hypothesis test is 0,00 so it achieved a significant learning outcome in experimental group class.     This study aims to know the effect of teaching and learning using Algebraic Stucture materials based on mathematical proof to improve mathematical proof ability. The type of this study is experimental method with One Shot Case Study design. Population in this study is students of 6th semester in Departement of Mathematics Education and sample is students in class A and B which are consist of 83 students. The results show that teaching and learning using Algebraic Structure materials based on mathematical proof can improve mathematical proof ability with 16Z0bs=9,74>1,645=Z0,05"> . The total score of mathematical proof ability is 44,34 from 100 or 44,34 % (good). In each aspect, teaching and learning using Algebraic Stucture materials based on mathematical Proof can improve the ability to construct evidence includes the use of methods of proof and the use of fact, the concept and principles of mathematics by 26,99 from 50 or 53,98 % (good) and 17,14 from 50 or 34,70 % (good) in the aspect of the ability to read a proof to determine truth or mistake by seeing the correspondence between the system of axioms, premises, or theorems existing. Keywords : algebraic structure material, mathematical proof abilit
