    Developing Communication Book for Schizophrenia in Aceh: Prospects and Challenges

    he lack of media information about Schizophrenia in Aceh explains caregivers’ limited understanding of mental disorders. Research on patient discharge systems found that communication media about Schizophrenia were still limited, mostly in the form of posters, flyers, or booklets. There was no specific information about the mental illness needed by the family or caregivers after the patient's discharged from the hospital. This study aims to develop and test a communication medium that can support the recovery process of post-discharge patients from the Mental Health Hospital or Rumah Sakit Jiwa (RSJ) in Aceh. This action research was carried out through focus group discussions (FGDs), interviews, and surveys to health practitioners (mental health nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, community leaders) and family or caregivers of Patients with Schizophrenia (PWS). The study found that messages about Schizophrenia which are developed through a community-based approach are likely to be better accepted than the expert-led information

    Mindfulness sebagai Mediator Fear of Missing Out dan Problematic Internet Use pada Penduduk Asli Digital

    The development of internet technology creates a new need for digital natives in order to stay online. The desire to stay connected due to not to be left behind by trends and information is known as fear of missing out (FoMO), thus individuals getting more involved in problematic internet use (PIU). Mindfulness is believed to influence how the relationship between FoMO and PIU. This research aims to know the role of mindfulness as a mediator of the relationship between FoMO and PIU. The number of research subjects were 286 people with age range 17-25 years old in Jakarta. The research method is quantitative. Data were collected using the FoMO scale questionnaire, Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS), and Generalized Problematic Internet Use Scale 2 (GPIUS 2). Analysis technique used was path analysis. The results revealed that mindfulness did not perfectly mediate FoMO and PIU. However, the path is in line between the variables, which there is a negative relationship between FoMO and mindfulness, mindfulness negatively related to PIU and FoMO positively coorelated to PIU.Perkembangan teknologi internet menciptakan kebutuhan baru bagi penduduk digital untuk terus terhubung secara online. Keinginan untuk terus terhubung agar tidak tertinggal dengan tren dan informasi dikenal sebagai fear of missing out (FoMO) sehingga membuat individu terlibat dalam problematic internet use (PIU). Mindfulness dipercaya dapat mempengaruhi bagaimana hubungan FoMO dan PIU. Tujuan dari penelitan ini adalah mengetahui peran mindfulness sebagai mediator hubungan antara FoMO dan PIU. Jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 286 orang dengan rentang usia 17-25 tahun di Jakarta. Metode penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner FoMO scale, Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS), dan Generalized Problematic Internet Use Scale 2 (GPIUS 2). Teknik analisis dengan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mindfulness tidak memediasi secara sempurna FoMO dan PIU. Namun, terdapat arah hubungan jalur yang sejalan dari ketiga variabel yaitu, terdapat hubungan negatif FoMO terhadap mindfulness, adanya hubungan negatif mindfulness terhadap PIU dan hubungan positif antara FoMO dengan PIU

    Bagaimana Leader Autonomy Support Dapat Meningkatkan Perilaku Inovatif pada Karyawan?

    Innovative behavior has an important influence on the development, excellence, and success of an organization. Therefore, it is important to identify the antecedents of employees' innovative behavior. This study aims to investigate the moderating effect of ambidextrous organization culture in the relationship between leader autonomy support (LAS) and innovative behavior. Data were collected using an online survey (platform surveymonkey). Participants of this study were 117 employees in Jakarta with a tenure minimum of 1 year. Convenience sampling was used as the sampling technique. Data were analyzed by moderation model technique (PROCESS model 1) using Hayes PROCESS on SPSS software. Results showed that leader autonomy support significantly predict innovative behavior (b= 0.50, confidence interval [CI] [0.17, 0.83]). While ambidextrous organization culture significantly moderate the influence of leader autonomy support on innovative behavior (b=0.07, [CI][0.03, 0.12]). The results showed that ambidextrous organization culture moderated the correlation between LAS and innovative behavior. Leader’s support for employee’s innovative behavior should be strengthened and companies are expected to put more effort in understanding the role of situational factors (i.e., ambidextrous organizational culture) in employee’s innovative behavior.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efek moderasi dari ambidextrous organization culture pada hubungan antara leader autonomy support dengan innovative behavior. Penelitian ini mengambil data melalui survei online dengan karakteristik bekerja di Jakarta dengan masa kerja minimal 1 Tahun (N=117) yang dipilih berdasarkan teknik convenience sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisa data moderation model (PROCESS model 1) dengan menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa leader autonomy support dan innovative behavior berkorelasi positif (r = 0.410, p < 0.01) dan terdapat pengaruh signifikan leader autonomy support terhadap innovative behavior (Sig. 0.000 <0.05; R Square 0.257; β = 0.5072).  Sedangkan ambidextrous organization culture signifikan memoderasi pengaruh leader autonomy support terhadap innovative behavior (Sig 0.0025< 0.005).     Peran Keterampilan Sosial-Emosional Guru terhadap Regulasi Emosi Siswa Sekolah Inklusi

    Emotion Regulation is important for student social interactions. Inclusive school that facilitate diversity can increase the student conflict. Conflict occurs because of the lack of skill in managing emotion. Therefore, the teacher has a task to support the development of student emotional regulation. The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the role of teacher social-emotional skills on emotional regulation in students at inclusive schools. The participants of this study were 109 students aged 9-13 years from three different inclusive schools at Yogyakarta. The method that used is survey by directly distributing the scale. Student perception about teacher social-emotional skills was measured by Teacher Social and Emotional Practice - Student Perspectives, while emotion regulation is measured with emotion regulation scale. Simple linear regression analysis is used to measure the role of teacher social-emotional skills on emotion regulation. The results showed that student perception about teacher social-emotional skills play a positive role on emotion regulation in students at inclusive schools. The higher student perception about teachers’ social-emotional skill the higher students’ emotion regulation.Regulasi emosi merupakan hal yang penting dalam interaksi sosial siswa. Sekolah inklusi yang memfasilitasi keberagaman dapat meningkatkan terjadinya konflik antar siswa. Konflik terjadi karena kurangnya keterampilan dalam mengatur emosi. Oleh karena itu guru memiliki tugas dalam mendukung perkembangan regulasi emosi siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji secara empirik peran persepsi siswa atas keterampilan sosial-emosional guru terhadap regulasi emosi siswa sekolah inklusi. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah 109 siswa dengan rentang usia 9-13 tahun dari tiga sekolah dasar inklusi di Kota Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan yaitu survei dengan menyebarkan skala secara langsung. Persepsi siswa atas keterampilan sosial-emosional guru diukur dengan Teacher Social and Emotional Practice – Student Perspective, sedangkan regulasi emosi diukur dengan skala regulasi emosi. Analisis regresi linear sederhana digunakan untuk mengukur peran persepsi siswa atas keterampilan sosial-emosional guru terhadap regulasi emosi. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa atas keterampilan sosial-emosional guru memiliki peran yang positif terhadap regulasi emosi siswa sekolah inklusi. Ketika siswa mempersepsikan guru memiliki keterampilan sosial-emosional yang tinggi maka regulasi emosi siswa juga cenderung akan tinggi
