    The Effect of Financial Literacy, Lifestyle and Self-Control on Online Shopping Consumptive Behavior

    This research aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, lifestyle, and self-control on consumer online shopping behavior among students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, East Java Veteran Development University. The research method used is quantitative. The population in this study consisted of 4231 active students from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Veteran Development University, East Java, using a stratified random sampling technique with the Slovin formula, which produced a sample of 100 respondents. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires, while the data analysis technique used SEM PLS with Smart PLS software. The results of this research show that financial literacy and self-control have a negative and significant effect on the consumptive behavior of students at the economics and business faculty at East Java Veteran Development University. This shows that financial literacy and good self-control will create moderate consumptive behavior. The results of this research also prove that lifestyle has a positive and significant effect on the consumer behavior of students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, East Java Veteran Development University. This shows that a high lifestyle will also create high consumer behavior

    Evaluation of Final Project Cost and Time Estimates for the Rehabilitation of The Segiri Sports Hall Building, Samarinda City, Using the Earned Value Method

    Evaluation of the final project cost and time estimates is essential to measure whether the project can be completed in accordance with the previously established budget and schedule. The calculation of the final cost and time estimates for the rehabilitation project of the Segiri Sports Hall Building in Samarinda City uses the Earned Value Method (EVM). The evaluation is performed by calculating the Estimate At Complete (EAC) for cost projection and the Estimate At Schedule (EAS) for the project completion time estimate. The analysis results show that the EAC experienced fluctuations, starting from Rp 44,648,760,330.58 in the first week of July and increasing to Rp 52,630,845,855.14 in the 15th week of November. This change was influenced by the increase in the Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP), which reached Rp 31,173,250,000.00 in the 15th week, as well as a decrease in the Estimate To Complete (ETC), reflecting cost adjustments. Although the EAC showed an upward trend from July to October, there was a decrease in November, indicating an improvement in project cost management. In terms of time, the EAS shows that the project was running ahead of schedule from the first to the third week, with EAS values ranging between 16.57 and 16.41. However, starting from the 4th to the 6th week, the EAS increased significantly, reaching 28.80 in the 6th week, reflecting a delay. Although there was a decrease in the EAS in the 14th and 15th weeks, the project still showed a significant delay compared to the planned schedule. These findings emphasize the importance of further evaluation in time management and resource allocation to minimize delays and ensure the project is completed on target

    Traditional snacks are one of Indonesia's traditional culinary heritages that have significant cultural, social, and economic value. In the city of Surabaya, traditional snacks are not only seen as complementary foods, but also have the potential to become an instrument of food security and the city's culinary identity. However, with the development of more practical modern foods, the existence of traditional snacks is increasingly marginalized. This study aims to develop a traditional snack processing model based on innovation, branding, and empowerment of MSMEs to increase competitiveness while strengthening Surabaya's city branding. The product is made by making Klepon Craquelin cakes as part of the traditional klepon innovation that has been enjoyed by most of the general public, especially the people of Surabaya. The study used the implementation method in the Sages Academy laboratory and was conducted with a taste test. The results showed that Klepon Craquelin cakes as part of the traditional klepon innovation are a solution for local food diversification, encouraging the growth of MSMEs, and strengthening tourism attractions. This research is an innovation of traditional klepon market snacks that will become a new city branding for the city of Surabaya, so that traditional culinary is not only sustainable but also develops in a global context. Klepon Craquelin cake has a unique, contemporary taste that will be loved by Generation Z

    Optimization of Reservoir Potential through Floating Net Cages and Fish Farming Training

    This community service program aims to optimize the reservoir potential in Karangasem Village, Sukoharjo Regency, through floating net cages and fish farming training. Addressing the lack of technical expertise among the "GP" Fish Farmers Group, the program enabled them to utilize the reservoir for economic and sustainable fish farming activities. The program encompassed three phases: preparation, implementation, and monitoring. During preparation, the necessary resources and permits were secured. The implementation phase featured interactive training on the design, construction, and maintenance of floating net cages and practical skills for gourami fish farming a species with high economic value. The program yielded significant improvements in participants' knowledge and skills. Pre- and post-training assessments demonstrated a 32.13% increase in knowledge, with average scores rising from 61.39 to 81.11. Participants successfully constructed operational floating net cages with technical specifications, including floating drums, iron frames, nets, and wooden pathways. Their active engagement during discussions and practice sessions highlighted enthusiasm for expanding gourami fish farming individually and collectively. The initiative emphasized practical solutions for utilizing the reservoir's freshwater efficiently and creating economic opportunities through aquaculture. Future recommendations include integrating digital marketing strategies to broaden the market reach of fish products and workshops on product innovation, such as ready-to-cook gourami or other fish-based items. Ongoing mentoring and periodic evaluations are essential to ensure the program’s sustainability and effectiveness. This program demonstrates the potential of community-driven aquaculture to enhance rural economic resilience and environmental sustainability

    Increased Productivity and Quality Of Presto Food Production through Automatic Presto Machines

    Presto food is one of the favorite foods of Indonesians. Some of the favorite types of presto food are grilled chicken, presto duck, fish pepes, and presto milkfish. Sidoarjo Regency is one of the regions in East Java that has an area of 15,530 hectares of ponds that produce abundant milkfish of approximately 9,866,300 tons. This is a factor in the emergence of MSMEs engaged in the culinary sector, one of which is UKM Presto Sidoarjo. Limited production equipment causes the production process to be inefficient in terms of time and fuel. Marketing that has not been widespread and product packaging that is less attractive is a factor in the product being less known to the public. The implementation method is carried out through a participatory approach, training and mentoring, as well as discussion activities between the proposing team and partners. The result of this activity is the creation of an automatic presto machine that is able to increase production capacity from 5 kg per process to 10 kg per process and the formation of partners who are independent in using the machine and increasing sales turnover through marketing on social media and product packaging that has good, creative elements, imprints on consumers and labels

    Cultural Bridges Enhancing Performance of Expatriates in Indonesia and Locals Abroad Through Innovative Human Resource Practices

    Cultural diversity presents both opportunities and challenges for expatriates working in Indonesia and local employees adapting abroad. This study examines the role of innovative Human Resource (HR) practices in enhancing cross-cultural performance. Findings highlight key challenges, including differences in social norms, language barriers, and cultural misunderstandings, which can lead to stress, decreased performance, and assignment failures. HR strategies such as cross-cultural training, onboarding, and mentoring have proven effective in reducing these challenges, fostering job satisfaction, and improving team collaboration. Adaptive leadership that embraces local cultural contexts significantly enhances trust and productivity. Furthermore, expatriates act as knowledge bridges, transferring technical and cultural insights to local teams, strengthening organizational cohesion. Case studies, including PT Freeport Indonesia and PT Haier Sales Indonesia, underscore the importance of tailored HR practices and leadership in mitigating cultural differences and driving organizational success. Beyond formal training, practical strategies like mentorship, community engagement, and language acquisition are essential for effective adaptation. This research emphasizes that holistic approaches to cross-cultural integration not only enhance individual performance but also create a more inclusive and collaborative workplace

    The Influence of Perceived Risk, Perceived Relative Advantage, and Perceived Cost on Micro-Business Owners' Interest in Using Peer-to-Peer Lending Fintech in Surabaya

    This study aims to analyse the influence of risk perception, relative advantage perception, and cost perception on the interest of micro-entrepreneurs in using peer-to-peer lending in Surabaya City. This study employs a quantitative approach to test established hypotheses. The population in this study consists of micro-business actors who have received loans or utilized Fintech Peer-to-Peer lending in Surabaya City, the population size of which is unknown. The determination of the sample size uses the Cochran formula and obtained a figure of 97 respondents, rounded up to 100 respondents. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression. The results of partial hypothesis testing found that the variable of risk perception has no effect on user interest, while the perception of relative advantage has a significant and unidirectional (positive) effect on user interest. Cost perception has a significant and unidirectional (positive) effect on user interest. Simultaneous hypothesis testing found that the variables of risk perception, relative advantage perception, and cost perception have a significant effect on user interest in Fintech Peer To Peer Lending among micro-entrepreneurs in Surabaya City. The Adjusted R Square figure is .764 or 76.4% which indicates that the role of the independent variables of risk perception, relative advantage perception, and cost perception is 76.4% on the interest in using fintech Peer To Peer Lending, and the remaining 23.6% is influenced by other factors outside this research model, therefore similar research activities in the future can examine the role of other independent variables. This research was conducted only in the city of Surabaya, so the results cannot be generalized or applied. It is hoped that further research will be conducted in a broader area, covering all regions of the Republic of Indonesia

    The Influence of Materials and Natural Constraints on Mobilisation and Timeliness of Road Improvement Projects in Papua

    One of the obstacles to construction work in Papua is the delay in implementation time and one of the causes is due to the inadequate condition of the access road to the work site, limited material transport fleet and roadblocks by indigenous peoples at the project site. This study was conducted to further examine the factors causing delays in the completion of road works in Southwest Papua Province, especially in Sorong district. The problem limitations used in this study only focus on factors that affect the Timeliness of Work Implementation as for these factors include: Materials, Natural Constraints and Mobilisation. This research uses Non Probability Sampling technique, which is a sampling technique that provides equal opportunities for each element of the population to become a sample obtained through distributing questionnaires online via google form. The process for processing data from respondent survey results uses SmartPLS software, which is software used for Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis. Based on the results of the Convergent Validity Test, Discriminant Validity Test, Construct Reability Reliability Test and Direct Effect and Indirect Effect Hypothesis Test, the results show that materials have the strongest influence on mobilisation, which ultimately increases the timeliness of work implementation

    Implementation of Tempeh Fermentation Room to Optimize the Tempeh Fermentation Process Equipped with Temperature and Air Humidity Controls

    Abstract: The production of tempeh in Indonesia, particularly in SMEs located at Jalan Raya Sepande No.45 Sidoarjo, still faces challenges in the manual fermentation process, especially during unstable weather conditions. Suboptimal fermentation can lead to a decline in production quality. This community service activity aims to improve the quality and capacity of tempeh production through technological innovation. The method used is a participatory approach involving training, mentoring, and discussions between the proposing team and partners. The resulting solution includes the application of appropriate technology, such as a fermentation room equipped with temperature and humidity control, as well as improvements in packaging and digital marketing. The results of this activity show an increase in production quality and quantity, income, and the human resource capacity of the partners. The conclusion of this activity is that the participatory approach and technological innovation can significantly enhance production efficiency and partner welfare

    Design and Analysis of Microstrip Patch Antennas to Support the Implementation of Smart Ports

    Smart port is a port concept which is designed and managed efficiently and effectively, which includes various technologies such as the use of automation systems, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), and data analysis. the main service to convert a port into a smart port or Port 4.0. categorized into three main areas: Smart infrastructure is focused on “fixed assets” in ports, such as buildings (e.g. warehouses or stacking areas), cranes, trains, and roads. Smart traffic is focused on “moving assets” such as ships, trucks, trains and containers. Smart trading is focused on the flow of cargo. Digitalization with information and communication technology and automation are fundamental factors in pushing a port towards a smart port.  One of the important components in communication technology is the antenna. several devices exchange data for remote monitoring using wireless communication. Antennas are very important in wireless communications. This article explains antenna design and analysis to support Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) in smart ports. This paper designs, simulates, and analyzes a microstrip patch antenna (MPA) for wireless applications. FR-4 (lossy) and Roggers RT/duroid with a dielectric permittivity of 4.3  and 2.2 has been used as a substrate material. The simulation was carried out using computer simulation technology (CST) suite studio 2019 software. Simulation with FR-4 material showed a return loss of -21.23 dB, gain of 2.718 dBi, directivity of 7.525 dBi, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 1.1864, bandwidth (BW) is 0.0635 GHz, and Simulation using Rogers RT5880/duroid material showed a return loss of  -10.813 dB, gain of 8.084 dBi, directivity of 8.528 dBi, voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) of 1.8095, bandwidth (BW) is 0.0441 GHz
