Formulating Method to Improve Web Quality: Integrating Fuzzy Logic, Web Quality, and Refined Kano

Disruption of technology requires businesses to perform digital transformation in its product marketing, one of which includes owning an e-commerce website. By having an e-commerce website, businesses get detailed consumer behavior patterns from their visits. This pattern of behavior can be utilized for future business process development. The importance of the existence of this e-commerce website requires businesses to be able to provide the best service when consumers access the website. In this research, the appropriate methods are formulated for businesses to improve the quality of their e-commerce services. In previous studies, Web Quality and Refined Kano methods are often used to improve the quality of e-commerce services. Although the two methods are often integrated to find more accurate recommendations, the recommendations produced are still subjective and have a high level of ambiguity. To reduce the level of subjectivity and ambiguity, it is necessary to integrate fuzzy logic into Web Quality and Refined Kano. The integration of fuzzy, Web Quality, and Refined Kano methods is expected to provide the most accurate and objective recommendations for businesses to improve the quality of their e-commerce services

Analysis of Factors Affecting the Use of the 64QAM Modulation on the Long-Term Evolution Network by Using Random Forest Method

Nowadays internet traffic using cellular telecommunication network is increasing very rapidly. Good LTE (Long-Term Evolution) cellular network performance is very important for any telecommunication operator to maintain customer satisfaction. Poor network performance can also cause customers to switch to other operators. One of the indicator variables in observing the radio quality of the LTE cellular network is Penetration using 64QAM Modulation. 64QAM modulation can transmit higher bitrates with lower power usage. 64QAM modulation will be used if the Channel Quality Index (CQI) condition is very good. Network quality improvement can be done by adding new BTS or optimizing existing BTS. The addition of new BTS will increase coverage, quality, and capacity but cost is high, and the time required to build BTS is also long, while improving network quality by optimizing BTS can be done by purchasing LTE features and costs incurred still relatively low. In increasing the penetration of using 64QAM modulation, it is necessary to analyze the other variables. The traditional method to improve this Key Performance Indicator (KPI) requires an expert and professional but is often inaccurate and spends a lot of time finding the factors that cause it. To solve this problem, Random forest method is proposed. By knowing the variables that have a significant effect on network quality, the capital costs incurred by cellular operators for improving network quality will be more effective and efficient because the capital costs invested only focus on influencing variables such as purchasing LTE network features only done for those related to these variables. The results of this study, we make CQI improvement flow based on the classification of the random forest method that produces feature/variable importance

Quality Control of Ink Bottles in Efforts to Control Defect Products in Candi Plastik Home Industry

Quality is one of the most important things in terms of competition between companies. Products that are not of quality will be rejected. Many home industries lose competitiveness in terms of quality, it could be due to inaccurate machining. This causes a lot of product defects. A dozen years this home industry was established, but has not yet met the minimum target defect target of products set by consumers. Quite a lot of products have to be replaced and reworked. So we need a tool to control quality and detect the causes of product defects and then repair the cause. Seven tools are the seven basic tools that are able to solve the quality problems faced by production. Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) is a tool to detect the causes of production failures. The application of these two tools is expected to be able to control quality, meet the minimum specifications of consumers, detect the causes and correct the causes, increase productivity, reduce losses, and increase consumer confidence. The results of this study are seven tools and FMEA able to control product defects, the percentage of product defects produced by 22.5%, the cause of product defects is caused by 4 factors namely machinery, humans, methods, and raw materials. Whereas based on FMEA analysis, the main cause of product defects is the machine, and proposed control settings of the machine

Challenges to Development Study in A Spatially Changing World Order (Indonesian Case Study)

International power relations changing and how can global peace and stability be maintained? With some main theories of international relations, shows how the global order is gradually changing and discusses how selected international and regional organizations contribute to the maintenance of global peace and security. Most importantly, It was seeing the confluence of high levels of indebtedness and extremely low interest rates which limits central banks’ powers to stimulate the economy, large wealth gaps and political divisions within countries which leads to increased social and political conflicts. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a historic setback to decades of development progress, and also exposed gaps in regional cooperation. The vertical across shows the number of COVID-19 death per million, as of August 30. The horizontal axis shows the percentage decline of GDP relative to the same quarter in 2019. It is ajusted for inflation This is a moment for reflection for policy makers across Asia and the Pacific and, as COVID-19 reshapes the world, we need to think innovatively on how future regional cooperation could be strengthened and be more agile in addressing the development challenges of our time. Disasters are usually difficult to avoid, but they can actually be mitigated. For a long time, the campaign on disaster awareness has been echoed. The idea of a disaster-aware community needs to be fully animated. The place (spatial) needs to be designed in such a way so that people are aware of the threat of disasters that can come at any time. Here we see an imbalance, on the one hand, humans are now very advanced (advanced) designing and executing many things: how to create connectivity, ease of moving, and speed of communication. However, on the other hand we fail to think about the (Geospatial) places in which humans live their lives

This research begins with an analysis of land development trends around the location and the respondent/stakeholders analysis through questionnaire and interview techniques to formulate which type of property and development that will be analyzed by the Highest and Best Use method. From the results from the identification of alternative land uses, five alternative developments using the mixed-use building consisting of apartment-hotel and office-apartment systems were obtained. From the results of the analysis conducted, the highest value of land productivity was obtained by developing land with mixeduse building system which consists apartment (50%) - hotels (50%) that gives enhancement the land value of Rp. 463.051.849, - / m2 or an increase of 1.267,25 % from before development was conducted

Social Resilience Assessment in Reducing Potential Risk of Earthquake in Surabaya

Surabaya has a potential risk of earthquakes, refer to the 2017 Indonesian Earthquake Source and Hazard Map issued by the National Center for Earthquake Studies (Pusat Gempa Nasional-PUSGEN). Surabaya city readiness in responding this issue is indicated by the community resilience. Therefore, it is important to assess the social resilience to find out the current capacity of communities in responding to earthquake risk. The research targeted the area around the Surabaya Fault with potentially high seismic hazard, consisting of 8 districts and 23 sub- districts. 22 variables were obtained by doing a literature review and expert judgment, that are 11 variables for social vulnerability and 11 variables for preparedness. We collect the data by distributing questionnaires to 116 respondents, the head of neighbourhood units, selected by simple random sampling. We analyze the data using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), descriptive statistics and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)-based mapping. Based on CFA, there are 7 valid variables of social vulnerability and 10 variables of preparedness for index assessment. The social vulnerability assessment has an index value of 2.27, while preparedness has an index value of 1.99. The index value shows that both of these indicators are in the low-to-medium category. Then, the social resilience index is assessed as the ratio of preparedness and social vulnerability index. By comparing these two indicators, Surabaya has an index value of 0.88 for social resilience or categorized as less resilient in responding to the earthquake risk

Development of Monitoring Tool to Support Lean Manufacturing Implementation

Lean is an approach that is carried out continuously to identify and eliminate waste or other activities that do not provide added value. Many companies have implemented lean concepts and got the benefits such as reduced cycle time, reduced operational costs, improved product quality, and other benefits. Although it provides many benefits, there are some weaknesses in implementing lean, one of which is due to the lack of monitoring. After the initial implementation, the process has never been reviewed and is rarely checked to ensure its implementation. Monitoring lean implementation requires tools that can help monitor work more efficiently. There are no specific tools that can be used to control and oversee lean implementation in the company. For this reason, this research will develop a tool for monitoring lean implementation. The tools to be developed adopting the logic of several methods, namely Quality Function Deployment (QFD), the framework of three matrix houses in lean implementation, and the House of Risk (HOR). This Lean monitoring tool is used to ensure that the corrective actions recommended for lean implementation are implemented. The Lean monitoring tool consists of three matrices that offer the ability to identify potential failures, the root causes of failures, and solutions to deal with lean implementation failuress

Automatic Extraction of Interior Orientation Data in Aerial Photography Using Image Matching Method

The Interior Orientation is a set of parameters that have been determined to transform the coordinates of the camera photo. The pixel coordinates of Fiducial Mark in the base image (Search window) are obtained automatically. The template of the fiducial mark is designed on single-frame aerial photographs. The concept of photogrammetry with Image Matching techniques is applied in the programming works. The Normalized Cross-Correlation (NCC) method coupling with the Area Based Matching technique is precisely used in the automatic computation for measuring the coordinate of fiducial marks. Herein, three templates are provided for this calculation. The coordinates from the manual rectification are employed. The results reveal that the third template is more accurate than the others with the RMSE value of 0.0066. The accuracy regarding the results of manual rectification depends on the operator when they are identifying for pixel values
