The management system has been one of the essential components of information technology that uses technology to support operations and management. PT XYZ has 11 departments namely Marketing, Purchasing, Human Resource, Finance, General Affair, Engineering, Warehouse, Meat Processing, Bakery, R & D, Quality Control, and Cafe divisions. The number of employees of the entire divisions is approximately ±800 people. Applications has been used in operating the main business activity at PT XYZ on daily basis. However, the applications are still based on each division which will cause the business process to be out of control and the data disintegration in each division. It can be seen as a disadvantage to the product processing as the operation takes longer; hence, it consequently requires higher production costs. Moreover, PT XYZ still uses 3 of the 7 applications that have been developed, while it's also contributed by having limited number of staff who are able to operate desktop or web-based applications. In view of the above, this study aims to develop a suitable information system strategic plan for PT XYZ. The analysis was conducted by using Anita Cassidy's Strategic Planning, wherein the planning starts from upstream to downstream of the company's business process. Anita Casidy's method consist of 4 (four) stages including visioning, analysis, direction, recommendation. The results obtained were IS strategy, IT strategy and IT management. Based on the results, it revealed that, at the visioning stage, PT. XYZ is located in quadrant I, in which quadrant 1 supports aggressive strategies. The strategy that must be determined in this condition is supporting aggressive growth policy. Mobile Architecture as Education Quality Enhancement of Street Children

    Get PDF
Street children as a reality that can be found in every city in Indonesia becomes a "magnet" of urban issues especially in education sector. Marginal Theory assumes that urban poverty occurs due to culture of poverty that is isolated within certain societies with apathetic and pessimist individual characters and unsupportive family and community environments. The existence of marginalized groups became the main source of the occurrence of various forms of public illness, one of them is street children. Mobile Architecture is a reaction from the world of architecture in presenting new solutions in the social world. The phenomenon of formal education that is always seen with the size of formalities and measurable values, it should be seen from the other side that presents a reaction to the world of architecture as a container. The main question is how the concept of architectural flexibility can work optimally in the existence of this street children's school design? So that can be according to time, function and place. Architectural flexibility as the concept offered is accordance with current social and environmental conditions. This flexibility is supported by Portable Architecture and Folding Architecture methods so that a design - in this case street children’s school - can match the space at any time. This method allows to environment changes and can reach street children scattered at some point in the city. Based on the characteristics of street children who have demands on the street to make money, the empowerment approach proposed is the "Street Based Intervention" approach. This approach makes street children will be approached at a certain point then accommodated and given services in the form of education, coaching, and the place of play and socializin

The concept of Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) is to integrate supply chain management with consumers, which includes the process of resource extraction, product design and development, distribution, waste disposal and recycle processes based on the thought of saving the environment. The problem found in this study is that suppliers pay little attention to environmental aspects as well as safety, delivery delays and quality. Government regulations related to the industry regarding the environment and the increasing number of people who switch to green products compel industry players to start incorporating environmental aspects into each of their production processes. This study uses the green supply chain management (GSCM) concept that integrates environmental aspects into business processes in the industry and discusses standardization of supplier selection. Selection of suppliers is an important problem that must be consider by the company in order to get suppliers who can support and improve the competitiveness of the company. The sample in this study was top management who worked at PT XYZ. Data collection techniques is using a questionnaire. The analysis of the green supplier selection was carry out using the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method because ANP is one method that is able to represent the importance of various parties by considering the interrelationships between the criteria and the existing sub-criteria. Criteria for selecting suppliers are financial, environmental, quality, technical (service). An ANP linkage model is base on the identification of criteria and sub-criteria and the interrelationships between the two. All of the criteria and sub-criteria are compare with each other. The comparison scores are process and obtained scores for each alternative supplier. The results is obtained data quality criteria have a score of 0.319, environmental criteria have a score of 0.254, technical criteria (service) has a score of 0.216 financial criteria has a score of 0.211. The supplier's recommendation is PT C because it has the highest score of 0.36
