    No full text
During the thirty-year period 1882-1910, the “carduccian circle” commented on several occasions on the ornithological errors committed by Carducci in Le «risorse» di San Miniato and in some of his poems. This article aims to trace the history of this particular critical approach, which also involves important poetic statements, such as Pascoli’s Il Sabato and Montale’s «Upupa, ilare uccello calunniato».

    No full text
This article offers an ethnographic analysis of the agricultural ritual cycle of the Aymara community of Socoroma in northern Chile. Five festivities, Difuntos, Pachallampe, Carnavales, Cruces de Mayo and San Isidro, that structure the festive calendar and articulate relationships between humans and extra-human entities are described. The social practices deployed express a relational ontology that attunes the community with its ecological environment. The research highlights the relevance of festivals as instances of communication with vital forces that allow continuity of the community. Corpachadas y chaku. Ritualidad medioambiental y cosmopolítica en Laguna Blanca, Argentina andina

    No full text
xThe study presents ethnographic accounts of corpachadas (buried offerings to Pachamama) in Laguna Blanca, Catamarca, Andean Argentine. It analyses the offerings made during the chaku (the capture and shearing of vicuñas) and the different corpachadas carried out at both family and public levels on 1 August. Focusing on environmental and cosmopolitical relationality, we discuss the role of these rituals in situations of “friction” between different practices and perceptions of the mountain environment by Indigenous Communities and other social actors.

La drammaturgia come pratica critica all'interno dei processi creativi. Una prospettiva postdrammatica

    No full text
The paradigm shift in the field of contemporary performance includes the change that the process of creation or production has undergone by acquiring a practical value with the explicit need for a theoretical redefinition caused by the erosion of the author's creative dominance and the gradual emergence of an anti-hierarchical and mostly collaborative method of working. This article attempts to frame this change by proposing the dramaturgical lens as a generative instance of the new ways of understanding creativity and practical engagement in it. Through an interdisciplinary approach involving relational and processual thinking, it addresses dramaturgy as a shared, politicised and catalytic practice, and the new figure of the dramaturg as a facilitator and mobiliser of the thought process (and thus creation) of others. In this regard, it offers several critical concepts through which it reconstructs the ways of acting dramaturgically in the midst of the creative process, such as responsiveness, conversation and focalization. Ultimately, the study problematises the relationship between artistic engagement and the contemporary productive and socio-economic context.

Unveiling the impact of lipophilic brominated flame retardants in Danube River sediments: a deep dive into pollution sources and distribution

    No full text
Aquatic sediments serve as both a major sink and a potential secondary source of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs), a class of persistent, bioaccumulative, and toxic pollutants. This study assessed ten PBDE congeners in Danube River sediments (Serbia), addressing their occurrence, spatial distribution, and potential sources. Σ10PBDE concentrations ranged from 0.52 µg/kg dry weight (War Island) to 31.21 µg/kg dry weight (Neštin), with BDE-209 as the predominant congener. Localized dominance of hepta- and penta-BDEs at Neštin and Šangaj suggested site-specific contamination patterns. Comparative analysis indicated levels comparable to or exceeding  those in  other industrialized regions, implicating anthropogenic activities as key contributors. Source apportionment using Principal Component Analysis identified three major pathways: (1) transport and debro-mination of higher-brominated congeners, (2) direct anthropogenic discharge, and (3) improper waste manage-ment. Hierarchical cluster analysis and Kohonen’s self-organizing maps pinpointed Neštin as a pollution hotspot. This study provides the most comprehensive dataset on PBDE contamination in Serbian Danube sediments, establishing a critical baseline for future monitoring and regulatory actions

Integrating multivariate statistical analysis and canadian water quality index to assess seasonal variation in Duhok Dam, Iraq

    No full text
The escalating demand for freshwater resources in arid and semi-arid regions necessitates comprehensive assessments of water quality to ensure sustainable use for domestic and agricultural purposes. This study evaluated the seasonal water quality of Duhok Lake by integrating multivariate statistical techniques Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and exploratory Cluster Analysis (CA) with the Canadian Water Quality Index (CCME WQI). PCA identified five principal components explaining 92.5% of the total variance, revealing the dominant influences of domestic discharge, eutrophication driven by phosphate and phytoplankton proliferation, geological contributions, agricultural runoff, and mineral ion enrichment. CA was applied in an exploratory sense only, to visualize similarity patterns among sites, seasons, and variables. The CCME WQI classified Duhok Lake’s water as marginal for both drinking (55.6) and irrigation (58.5), primarily due to elevated levels of sulfate, hardness, total dissolved solids, and magnesium exceeding WHO standards. Historical comparison over two decades revealed fluctuating trends linked to variable inflows and precipitation. These findings highlight the urgent need for continuous monitoring and integrated management strategies to mitigate emerging risks and ensure the sustainable use of Duhok Lake as a vital freshwater resource

Impact of Emotional Education programs in the development of emotional competence in secondary students: A scoping review

    No full text
In an educational context increasingly affected by psychosocial challenges, emotional competencies are recognized as essential for student well-being, social interaction, and holistic development. These include abilities such as recognizing, expressing, and regulating emotions and empathy, which are key elements for building healthy relationships and managing conflict. Despite their importance, low emotional competencies have been reported in secondary students. This scoping review examines the impact of emotional education programs on secondary students. The PRISMA Scoping method was used with the Web Of Science, Scopus, and Scielo databases. Out of 23 studies identified, five met the inclusion criteria. Findings indicate significant improvements in emotional awareness and regulation, interpersonal skills, and emotional understanding following school-based interventions. While results support the effectiveness of these programs, methodological limitations and limited systematization in Ibero-American contexts were observed, underscoring the need for more culturally grounded and pedagogically informed approaches to emotional education in secondary education settings

I "diritti digitali" dei dipendenti pubblici nell'ordinamento spagnolo

    No full text
This work analyzes the so-called "digital rights" of public employees in Spain, which are none other than the classic fundamental rights adapted to an increasingly digitized work environment ( ). The Spanish legal system reacted belatedly and only to expressly protect the right to privacy of public employees with respect to the use of digital devices made available to them by the Administration and the use of video surveillance and geolocation systems. Other fundamental rights that could be influenced by technological advances are not expressly mentioned, nor are other possible areas that should be subject to protection indicated, such as the use of artificial intelligence systems, biometrics, data analysis, or social networks, etc.
