EXAMINING REPUTATION AND SERVICE INNOVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF ISLAMIC RURAL FINANCING BANK
Sharia BPRS have an important role in supporting the economy in Indonesia through financing for the small and medium sectors. West Java is the province with the largest number of BPRS (27) besides Central Java (27), with the highest working capital, investment, and consumption values compared to other provinces. This study aims to examine the effect of bank reputation and service innovation on the performance of BPRS in West Java. This study used a quantitative approach using a cross-sectional survey design. The questionnaire was designed using a 5-point Likert Scale. Samples were taken from as many as 50 respondents. The data is then processed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the hypothesis testing show that only service innovation has proven to have a significant effect on the performance of BPRS in West Java, while bank reputation has no significant effect. The results of this study have implications for BPRS management banks to pay more attention to the development of service innovations aimed at creating products with special characteristics that are different from conventional BPRs, coupled with a wide variety of products that can be chosen by customers with superior benefits. Excellence in service delivery is also an important factor in making customers satisfied with BPRS services. Better utilization of information and communication technology is needed in providing services so that customers can interact more quickly and easily with the bank
INDIVIDUAL COMMUNITY CHARACTERIZATION RELATIONSHIP TO PARTICIPATION IN MANGROVE FOREST MANAGEMENT
Mangrove forests as a potential natural resource have many benefits that make them managed and always utilized by the community. However, the current condition of mangrove forests is very concerning and has suffered damage, one of the causes of which is human activities and activities. This study aims to find out the relationship of individual characteristics of the community to participation in mangrove forest management. Respondents to this study were 35 people who were members of community groups in Margasari Village. The stages and methods carried out in this study are: determination of the weight and score of individual characteristics of community and community participation using the Likert scale method with questionnaire instruments; and analysis of the relationship of individual characteristics of community to participation using the spearman rank method. The results showed that the community has actively carried out mangrove forest utilization and management activities in Margasari Village. This can be seen in the conditions of individual characteristics of community. People who are of productive age can carry out and carry out a job and activities optimally. In addition, the level of community activity can be seen in 90% of respondents who were educated last at the high school level, which shows that the mindset, absorption, and knowledge related to mangrove forests and their management are quite good. This study concludes that the individual characteristics of community do not indicate a close and significant relationship to community participation. Thus, the changes that occur in the individual characteristics of the community will not change the pattern of community activities and activities in the management of mangrove forests in Margasari Village
COLLABORATION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND STAKEHOLDERS IN THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF CHILD MARRIAGE
Child marriage has become a growing issue in the last 20 years. Even the United Nations 10 years ago warned Indonesia of an emergency for child marriage. As is well known, the Ministry of PA released the number of child marriages in 2000 as many as 63,382 cases, decreased in 2021 to 61,459 cases, and in 2022 decreased drastically to 50,673 cases. The decline in child marriage or Marriage with dispensation is due to better socialization of changes to Law Number 16 of 2019 concerning Amendments to Law Number 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage and several efforts made by the government and regional governments. The decline occurred in several regions in Indonesia, as was the case in Central Java Province. The problem of child marriage is quite complex because it is not only an internal family problem but includes a complicated social security issue and requires collaboration to solve it. Collaboration between the government and stakeholders has been initiated but has not yet been strengthened, so it is necessary to find a way to overcome child marriage. This research was conducted using the mixed method, namely exploring children who were already married to find out conditions before and after Marriage and children’s responses to child marriage. The purpose of this research is to analyze the roles of the government and stakeholders in the prevention and management of child marriage. This research is expected to address how the government and stakeholders collaborate in preventing and dealing with child marriage. This study focuses on patterns of child marriage, children’s responses to child marriage, the role of government and stakeholders, and models of collaboration between local government and stakeholders in preventing and controlling child marriage with the locus of Central Java Province
DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY POLICY FOR SMEs: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS
This study aims to analyze digital technology policies, especially for SMEs publication trends regarding time, author, journal, affiliation, and institution; research areas that are prominent and influential on digital technology policies, especially for SMEs, as well as opportunities and limitations for future researchers to explore. This study uses Scientometrics analysis through bibliometric analysis. Data analysis was carried out in two parts through inductive analysis where the first was bibliometric analysis and in the second part, network mapping. Data were extracted from the Scopus database, in November 2021 during the period 2003-2021. The results of the study show that the highest publications were in 2020 as many as 19 documents; the most relevant source is Telecommunications Policy, the most cited authors are Depaoli, Paolo and the most relevant affiliate is Loughborough University. The results of the study have implications that in the future Digital Technology Policy for SMEs research will focus on studies on Digital Technologies barriers, innovation-diffusion, SME innovation and E-Business
STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY SOCIAL CAPITAL IN PEATLAND MANAGEMENT
People who live on peatlands are very dependent on the values and functions contained by the surrounding ecosystem. They certainly need empowerment to strengthen their social capital in meeting their needs. This study aims to analyze the importance of strengthening community social capital on peatlands. The research method used is qualitative research to describe and explain the observed conditions. The results showed that the pattern of ecosystem management on peatlands did not involve all parties, so that people living on peatlands did not really feel the benefits. Whereas the existence of the community can be relied on in maintaining the ecosystem even though they have reasons to use existing resources to fulfill their daily needs. It is just a matter of how all stakeholders involved can make efforts to empower them so that they have strong social capital to protect the environment. With this, the community will feel they have an interest in using all available resources on peatlands in a responsible and sustainable manner
ANALYSIS OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN DEVELOPMENT PLANNING IN KALIJAGA VILLAGE, HARJAMUKTI SUB-DISTRICT, CIREBON CITY
This study aims to determine and analyze community participation in the development planning process in Kalijaga Village, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City, West Java Province. The approach used is qualitative. Data sources are the Head of Cirebon City Regional Development Planning Agency, Harjamukti Sub-District Head, Kalijaga Urban Village Chief, Hamlet Heads, and Community Representatives. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using stage 3 flow, namely data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing or verification. The study’s results explained that community participation in the development planning process in Kalijaga Village, Harjamukti Sub-District, Cirebon City, was relatively low. Community limitations influence the low community participation in the development planning process in understanding development planning. There is a pessimistic attitude of the community towards the development planning process because their proposals are not accommodated in the higher process, the limited number of officials and development cadres in charge of communicating information about development planning to the community, and the implementation time of development planning is relatively short, so it is not balanced with the material that must be discussed and decided
RELIGIOUS DIGITAL LITERACY IN ISLAMIC HIGHER EDUCATION: STUDENT-PERCEIVED BENEFIT
Digital media tends to be used to deliver literacy regarding radicalism that can develop on campus. Students in Islamic Higher Education are considered as important subjects in using digital literacy.The purpose of this research is to demonstrate religious digital literacy perceived by students in Islamic Higher Education. The type of this research was qualitative using a phenomenological approach. Research objects were Islamic Higher Education in South Sulawesi consisting of IAIN Parepare, UM Parepare, as well as STAI DDI in Parepare, Pinrang and Sidrap. The informants were students from the Students Executive Board and Da’wah Units. An ambassador of Digital Literacy in the Library and Archives Office of South Sulawesi also became an informant in this research. The result demonstrates that religious digital literacy held in Islamic Higher Education in South Sulawesi greatly contributes to the student’s perspective change in comprehending information disruption and radicalism. Campuses conduct religious moderation events through workshops and the digital space. Otherwise, students use various digital sources to strengthen information. The source of religious digital literacy derives from information which is spread on WhatsApp, Facebook. YouTube, Telegram and Instagram. Therefore, the emergence of Islamic Higher Education in South Sulawesi can lead students to cope with information disruptions, and prevent the action of radicalism and fanaticism in the religion
PERSPECTIVE OF PUBLIC POLICY EVALUATION: THE MARRIAGE AGE MATURITY IN WEST BANDUNG DISTRICT INDONESIA
Early marriage is a serious issue that must be addressed immediately due to the numerous consequences of underage marriages, including the loss of future children, domestic violence, mental and biological unpreparedness, divorce, and many others. Many factors, including economic, cultural, juvenile delinquency, and low education levels, influence the occurrence of early marriages in Lembang District, West Bandung District, Indonesia. In this study, data was gathered through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique employs data triangulation, which is accomplished in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study reveal that the Marriage Age Maturity (Pendewasaan Usia Perkawinan /PUP) program in Lembang District, West Bandung Regency has applied the Policy Evaluation principle to prevent early marriage, but the results have not been optimal
THE ROLE OF HUMAN INITIATIVE ORGANIZATIONS IN FULFILLING CHILDREN'S RIGHTS IN BENGKULU
Organizations have a role in the protection of children and the fulfillment of children's rights performed individually and in groups by performing roles in accordance with well-active positions, Participative and passive. Researchers see social organizations play an important role in achieving the goals of quality of life, Basic Needs and Service Delivery. It's not out of the protection and fulfillment of a child's rights. Children become a group that has risks in every growing flower in its environment.The role of the organization both formal and informal has an important influence on creating a safe and secure environment for the child with a HOME Program and educational aid. Informant in the study involved 5 human initiative staff and 5 children has been been involved in home-program activities for two years with School age have a family and don’t have a family. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a purposive sampling approach through interviews and observations. Research aim to find out how the organization human initiative in protection and fulfilment of the rights of the child in bengkulu. The results The program and the activities carried out by human initiative certainly helps to actually focus on problems protection and fulfilment of the rights of children especially in providing shelter or an alternative to parenting involving a foster parent and help the accessibility of education. So the value own can give enchange his role for the community and encourage the government in creating an environment for children in bengkulu
CRIMINAL LIABILITY FOR MALPRACTICE OF DOCTORS AT PEKAN BARU HOSPITAL, RIAU PROVINCE
The primary purposes of this research are to investigate the multifaceted role of health workers in the delivery of health services and to explore the legal aspects surrounding medical malpractice within the healthcare system. Specifically, this study aims to examine the evolving perception of health workers in society, moving beyond their traditional role as “healers” to encompass their broader responsibilities. Additionally, it seeks to understand the legal implications of medical errors and malpractice within the healthcare system, with a focus on negligence as a central factor. The issue of malpractice, because of the legal awareness of patients who feel aggrieved, results in the prosecution of doctors who commit medical errors (malpractice) which end up in criminal prosecution of patients who feel aggrieved, it is realized by all parties that doctors are only human beings who can one day be negligent and make mistakes, so that violations of the code of ethics can occur even to the point of violating applicable health regulations.This study employes a normative legal research approach to comprehensively examine the multifaceted role of health workers and the intricate legal dimensions surrounding medical malpractice within the healthcare sector. The result of the study found hospital criminal liability for malpractice committed by the hospital or by its health workers can be based on the doctrines of vicarious liability, hospital liability, and strict liability. Doctor’s medical malpractice in medical services can be intentional or negligent. What can be accounted for in medical malpractice is only a doctor’s negligence in carrying out medical procedures
