Get PDFThis paper examines the need for volunteers in the community and the importance of student vol unteer participation through volunteer activities targeting university students. Volunteering is beneficial in contributing to the community. However, this includes significant problems. First, it cannot be said that the younger generation, including university students, has established an awareness of ongoing volunteer activities and volunteerism. Rather than forced volunteering, an important issue is to connect the needs of university students with local issues and consider whether initiatives that have educational significance for university students are possible. Many universities are currently engaged in university partnerships with the community. Analytical methods for inverse obstacle problems
Get PDFThis expository paper is concerned with methodology on the reconstructionissue for inverse obstacle problems governed by partialdifferential equations and consists of three sections. First an introductionof representative classical analytical methods, which are the linearsampling and factorization methods, the probe and singular sourcesmethods and the enclosure method is given. Second the recent developmentof the enclosure method in time domain is described. It isfocused on showing three types of applications of the method to inverseobstacle problems governed by wave equations. Finally, as a mostrecent topic, an integrated theory of the probe and singular sourcesmethods is presented
