Study on therapeutic mechanism of Kshara Sutra medicinal thread in the treatment of anal fistula
本研究では痔瘻モデルラットを用い痔瘻治療糸、クシャーラ・スートラ(KS)の作用について評価・検討を行った。KS処置によって炎症マーカーであるIL-6やTNF-αの発現量がわずかに増加していること、瘻管の上皮層が欠損または著しく薄くなる様子が認められた。また、痔瘻の原因菌に対して低濃度での抗菌活性を示さなかった。KSによる瘻管上皮層の欠損や形成阻害が、治療期間の短期化に寄与すると考えられる。In this study, we evaluated the effects of Kshara Sutra (KS), a therapeutic thread for anal fistula, in a rat model of fistula, and found that KS treatment resulted in a slight increase in the expression of inflammatory markers IL-6 and TNF-α, and a loss or significant thinning of the epithelial layer of the fistula tract. Three dimensional nanostructure fabrication by using protein crystals as the templete
タンパク質結晶は溶媒チャンネルと呼ばれる三次元ナノ細孔構造を有し、かつその細孔は表面のタンパク質に由来するキラル空間であるため、タンパク質結晶は新規かつ高機能な多孔質材料である。本研究ではニワトリ卵白由来リゾチーム結晶の細孔に発光性の機能性分子を高密度に集積することで共鳴エネルギー移動や三重項-三重項消滅フォトンアップコンバージョンなど希薄溶液では生じない現象を見い出した。また結晶細孔内に導入した金・銀錯体がタンパク質の働きにより還元され金・銀ナノ粒子を形成すること、その成長をレーザー光照射で迅速化できることを示した。タンパク質結晶を多孔性材料・ミクロ反応容器として活用する方法を切り開いた。Protein crystals possess distinguished three-dimensional structures that contain well ordered nanoporous solvent channels that are typically 0.5-10 nm in diameter. From this viewpoint, structural similarities to nanoporous materials, such as zeolite, mesoporous silica, and metal organic frameworks (MOF), are noteworthy. It is expected that similarly to such nanoporous materials, protein crystals will be employed in a broader range of applications. In this prject, we aim to fabricate novel three-dimensional nanostructured materials by exploiting the function of protein crystals. We have found that resonant energy transfer and triplet-triplet annihilation photon upconversion in the nanopores of protein crystals by loading functional molecules in high density. In addition, we have fabricated gold/silver nanoparticles in the nanopores, which can be accelerated by photo-irradiation. A stugy on the information provision methods for tourists during disasters using an agent approach
(a系統) 観光客へのサンプリング調査研究、観光客による一斉帰宅緩和のための震災時帰宅行動研究、(b系統) 観光客避難シミュレーション研究、(c系統) エージェントシミュレーションによって避難計画の評価を行うゲーミングシミュレーション研究を実施した。その成果として、aからcを並走させることで、本ゲーミングがコミュニティ防災の要件を満たすことを明らかにした。This study conducted (a) a sampling survey study of tourists and a study of tourist return home behavior during an earthquake to mitigate the simultaneous return home by tourists, (b) a study of tourist evacuation simulation, and (c)gaming simulation to evaluate evacuation plans by agent simulation were clarified. A Policy Proposal For Regional Collaboration: Ideal Attributes of Collaborators and Agencies
The purpose of this study is to identify the qualities and roles required for regional collaboration.Also, I would like to make policy recommendations necessary for universities to engage in regional cooperation. A coordinator role is needed for university-community partnerships, such as in manag ing community activities, securing volunteers, and building networks with residents and various or ganizations. For universities to assume this role, university teachers need to have certain qualifica tions.In the future, regional cooperation will require university officials and the local community to work together. Universities must also contribute as a social resource.
