Research on regional collaborative creation activities based on donations―Utilizing new forms of hometown tax system
日本の大学運営において,少子化による受験生減少や新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響といった不確実な将来に対応するための資金調達の手段を増やそうという取り組みが活発になってきている。その中でも,「寄付金」を資金調達の柱にしようとする潮流が顕著になってきている。また,近年,大学の寄付募金活動にふるさと納税を活用する動向が新潮流となりつつある。本稿では,まず,大学と寄付金収入に関してコロナ前とコロナ禍での分析を行い,ふるさと納税制度の動向を整理した。次に,寄付に関して大学独自の事例とふるさと納税を活用した事例を分析した。大学独自の事例からは,寄付者に当事者意識を感じさせる努力・工夫が大変重要であることが示唆された。ふるさと納税を活用した事例からは,ふるさと納税の利用に対して相談・提案を行い,それに対する自治体の意見を聞いたうえで,互いに WIN ‐ WIN の関係になることが望ましいと示唆された。2025 年に 60 周年を迎える城西大学に対しては,ステークホルダーである卒業生に対しふるさと納税の利用に坂戸市や地域の高等教育機関と仕組みを協創していくのが良いと提言した。Japanese universities are actively working to increase fundraising methods to deal with the uncertain future caused by the declining birthrate and the impact of COVID-19. Among these efforts, there is a growing trend to make "donations" the main source of fundraising. In recent years, there has also been a new trend of using hometown tax donations in university fundraising activities. In this paper, we analyzed universities and donation income before and after COVID-19, and summarized the trends in the hometown tax system. Then we analyzed university-specific cases of donations and cases that used hometown tax. The university-specific cases suggested that it is very important to make efforts and be creative in making donors feel a sense of ownership. The cases that used hometown tax suggested that it is desirable to consult and propose the use of hometown tax, listen to the local government's opinion on it, and then create a win-win relationship for both parties. Regarding Josai University, which will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2025, the group recommended that it work with Sakado City and local higher education institutions to create a system for utilizing hometown tax donations for alumni, who are stakeholders in the university.論
Tumor targeted oligonucleotide therapy via lymphatic route for achievement of complete cure from relapsed malignant lymphoma
悪性リンパ腫の治療において、放射線治療や化学療法に加え、分子標的薬を併用した多剤併用療法、造血幹細胞移植療法、CAR-T療法等の先端治療が行われているが、それでもなお、リンパ腫は血管・リンパ管を介して全身転移しやすい為、治療成功とされる寛解後の完全な再発防止が求められている。本研究では、再発性悪性リンパ腫の完全根治を目指した新規治療薬の創製を最終目的とし、リンパ管系への移行能を持ち、B細胞性腫瘍を標的とする為のキャリヤーを保持した核酸製剤のプロトタイプの作製と、リンパ管系の解明を含めた開発基盤の構築を行った。In the treatment of malignant lymphoma, several therapies, such as radiation therapy, combination chemotherapy with molecular targeted drugs, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation therapy, and CAR-T therapy are being used. However, lymphomas are still prone to systemic metastasis via blood vessels and lymphatic vessels, it is required to complete prevention of relapse after remission. Spin Dynamics Phenomena of a Cerium(III) Double-Decker Complex Induced by Intramolecular Electron Transfer
Switchable spin dynamic properties in single-molecule magnets (SMMs) via an applied stimulus have applications in single-molecule devices. Many SMMs containing heavy lanthanoid ions with strong uniaxial magnetic anisotropy have been reported to exhibit SMM characteristics in the absence of an external magnetic field. On the other hand, SMMs containing light lanthanoid cerium(III) (Ce3+) ions exhibit field-induced slow magnetic relaxation. We investigated the chemical conversion of a diamagnetic Ce4+ ion (4f0) to a paramagnetic Ce3+ ion (4f1) in Ce-phthalocyaninato double-decker complexes (TBA+[Ce(obPc)2]− (1) and TBA+[Ce(Pc)2]− (2)) which exhibit field-induced SMM behaviour due to a 4f1 system. The phthalocyaninato ligands with electron-donating substituents (obPc2− = 2,3,9,10,16,17,23,24-octabutoxyphthalocyaninato) in 1 have a significant effect on the valence state of the Ce ion, which is reflected in its magnetic properties due to the mixed valence state of the Ce ion. Given that Ce double-decker complexes with π-conjugated ligands undergo intramolecular electron transfer (IET) to the Ce ion mixed valence state, characterised by a mixture of 4f0 and 4f1 configurations, we examined the dynamic disorder inherent in IET influencing magnetic relaxation.Advance Articleのため、巻号頁記載なし→2024.07.17 巻号頁を追記。 This article is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported Licence

Preparation,solubility,and anti-inflammatory effects of a complex of diphenylcyclopropenone/β-cyclodextrin derivatives as the treatment of alopecia areata
Purpose: To investigate the preparation of inclusion complexes of diphenylcyclopropenone (DPCP)/β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) derivatives using a three-dimensional (3D) ball mill, and verify the inclusion behavior of the solid dispersion. Additionally, we aimed to investigate the effect of DPCP/β-CDs complex formation on the spleens of male C57BL/6 mice in terms of anti-inflammatory effects. Methods: The inclusion complexes of DPCP with β-CD and hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin (HPβCD) were prepared using a 3D ball mill. Powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) were used to evaluate the solid-state properties. The solubility of the prepared DPCP/β-CD and HPβCD complexes and the intermolecular interaction between DPCP and β-CD derivatives in solution were assessed using 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR). Furthermore, the anti-inflammatory effects of DPCPs in the prepared DPCP/CD complexes were investigated using spleens from male C57BL/6 mice, with measurement of interferon gamma (IFN-γ) secretion as an endpoint. Additionally, the protective effects of each drug on NIH-3T3 cells exposed to ultraviolet (UV) irradiation were examined. Results: Solid-state characterization confirmed the formation of inclusion complexes in the 3D ground mixture (3DGM) (DPCP/β-CD = 1/1) and 3DGM (DPCP/HPβCD = 1/1) complexes through PXRD and IR analysis. The solubility of 3DGM (DPCP/β-CD = 1/1) and 3DGM (DPCP/HPβCD = 1/1) was 17.5 μg/mL and 58.4 μg/mL, respectively, indicating higher solubility than that of DPCP alone. NMR analysis of 3DGM samples suggested that DPCP/β-CD and DPCP/HPβCD form inclusion complexes at a molar ratio of 1/1 but with different inclusion modes. Regarding the anti-inflammatory activity of DPCP, 3DGM (DPCP/HPβ-CD) showed anti-inflammatory effects at lower doses compared to 3DGM (DPCP/β-CD) in terms of IFN-γ and NIH-3T3 cells injured by UV irradiation. Conclusion: We successfully formed inclusion complexes of DPCP/β-CD and DPCP/HPβCD using the 3D ground mixture method. NMR analysis suggested that DPCP/β-CD and DPCP/HPβCD form inclusion complexes at a molar ratio of 1/1 but with different inclusion modes. The anti-inflammatory activity of DPCP was more pronounced in 3DGM (DPCP/HPβCD) at lower doses compared to that in 3DGM (DPCP/β-CD), indicating that the HPβCD derivatives were more effective in enhancing the anti-inflammatory properties of DPCP.This is an openaccess article distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).
