Efficacy of geranylgeraniol, which inhibits bone resorption and promotes bone formation, in metabolic bone diseases
Get PDF健康な骨は骨吸収を担う破骨細胞と骨形成を担う骨芽細胞の相反する機能のバランスの上に維持されている。加齢や炎症などにより破骨細胞が優位になると骨破壊が進み骨粗鬆症を引き起こす。我々はゲラニルゲラニオール（GGOH）が破骨細胞の分化は抑制するが、骨芽細胞の分化は促進することを見出した。本研究ではGGOHの骨代謝疾患への有効性についてさらに検討した。その結果、GGOHは卵巣摘出による骨粗鬆症モデルマウスにおける骨吸収を緩和した。またⅡ型コラーゲン抗体とLPS投与による関節リウマチモデルマウスにおいて炎症性骨吸収を緩和した。Healthy bones are maintained on the balance between the conflicting functions of osteoclasts, which are responsible for bone resorption, and osteoblasts, which are responsible for bone formation. When osteoclasts become dominant due to aging or inflammation, bone destruction progresses, leading to osteoporosis. We found that geranylgeraniol (GGOH) inhibits osteoclast differentiation but promotes osteoblast differentiation. In this study, we further investigated the efficacy of GGOH in bone metabolism diseases. The results showed that GGOH alleviated bone resorption in a mouse model of osteoporosis induced by ovariectomy. Elucidation of the effect of overspeed training on sprint running power production characteristics
Get PDF本研究では，牽引走によるオーバースピードトレーニングが疾走に及ぼす影響を，疾走速度変化に着目して検討した。その結果，オーバースピードトレーニングとなる牽引走では，自身の最大努力での疾走と比べて，自身の出しうる最大疾走速度近傍またはそれ以上の速度で，かつ長く疾走することが可能であることが明らかとなった。また，牽引走では早期に自身が出し得る最大疾走速度近傍に達することが可能なものと考えられた。一方で，牽引する力の大きさや牽引する距離の長さによっては，牽引走中の最大疾走速度や疾走速度変化に差異がみられたことから，トレーニング目的に応じて，牽引方法を設定することが重要であることが示唆された。In this study, we investigated the effects of overspeed training by assisted sprinting with towing systems on sprinting, focusing on changes in sprinting speed. As a result, it was revealed that in assisted sprinting with towing systems, which is overspeed training, it is possible to sprint at or above one's maximum sprinting speed, and for a longer distance, compared to sprinting at one's maximum effort. It was also suggested that in assisted sprinting with towing systems, it is possible to reach a speed close to one's maximum sprinting speed earlier. Career Development of Second Generation Migrants: Policies Adapting to Internationalization inside Japanese Society
Get PDF日本政府と地方自治体は、国内の国際化の新たな段階である移民時代に対応するために政策を再考する必要がある。移民二世に対する政策は、日本語や教科学習の支援だけでなく、キャリア形成の支援にまで及ぶ必要があるかもしれない。教育委員会や自治体の関係部門、あるいは日本語学習支援から外国人住民と長い歴史を持つ国際交流協会のいずれにおいても、現状の政策は理想とはほど遠い。貴重なグローバル人材である二世の存在に気づいていないのかもしれない。その代わり、彼らは日本のグローバル化のために、海外からの留学生や人材に目を向けているのが実態である。Central and local governments in Japan should reconsider their policies in order to adapt to the new phase of internationalization at home, the migration age. The policies for the second generation of the migrants may have to shift from supporting not only the Japanese language and subject study but also to their carrier development. The contemporary policies are far from the ideal either at the educational committee, relevant local government sections, or at the international friendship association with longer history with foreign residents starting from their Japanese language study support. They may not notice such second generation as the precious global human resources. In stead they look toward foreign students from abroad or people overseas for globalizing Japan.研究報告 研究ノート / Research Not
