    KENDALI TORKA PREDIKTIF DENGAN PREDIKSI DUA LANGKAH MOTOR INDUKSI YANG DICATU OLEH SEBUAH INVERTER TIGA FASE

    The predictive torque control (PTC) technique of electric motor drive is based on the principle that the determined optimum voltage vector will be applied to the motor in the next cycle. If a three-phase inverter is used, this inverter can only realize eight different switching states. One of the eight switching states is used as the optimum inverter switching state for the next cycle. PTC with one-step prediction cannot obtain an experimental motor speed control, because in the real-time implementation, there is a single sampling delay between input and optimal actuation due to a large number of real time calculations. The delay time problem could be solved by modifying the optimization steps by using the two-step prediction of PTC model. The experimental results show that the motor can follow the reference speed and command torque in the step response and variable speed experiments. In variable speed experiment, good speed and torque dynamics can be achieved by selecting the proportional gain value that corresponds to the motor spee

    Air is the most important factor in human life. Air quality is the most supportive factor in the development of everyday living things. Temperature, Humidity and PPM (Parts Per Million) substances in the air are the parameters most often found in the environment around where we live. Every day there is and increase in pollution from motorized vehicles without us knowing how bad or good the air condition in our environment is. Therefore we need and air quality monitoring to find out how good the air condition around us is by using the MQ-135 gas sensor which is produces air quality output and using the DHT11 sensor which is output the temperature and humidity of the air around the sensor. And using an ESP8266 microcontroller based to display the output on the sensor anywhere and anytime with internet. It is hoped that this tool can be useful to determine the condition of the room good or bad so that users can improve the condition of the room where they live. It is also hoped that this tool can detect gasses leaks that occur in closed room and provide a warning to the user’s cellphone

    Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) is a device that can move the main power source to a backup power source automatically and quickly when the main power source is interrupted or the supply cuts to the load. In this study, ATS was designed based on the Arduino Nano microcontroller as an automatic control that works based on voltage readings. Using the Arduino Nano microcontroller can facilitate the process of making tools and minimize the use of components. This ATS uses the PZEM-004T voltage sensor module. The voltage sensor module functions to detect and measure the value of the PLN voltage. From the test results, it was found that the time lag between the PLN supply being cut off until the battery was supplying and ready to be loaded was an average of 2.79 seconds. Meanwhile, the time lag when the PLN supply turns on again until the battery supply is cut off and the load supply is again served by PLN is 3.07 seconds on average. Other tests found that in measuring battery resistance with a load of 20 watts, the current obtained is 1.66 amperes with a usage resistance of 27 hours, while when the load is 200 watts the current is 16.66 amperes while the resistance to use is 2.7 hours. The length of battery life is affected by the magnitude of the load

    Sun is one of the new renewable energy sources that can be used as a source of electrical energy that is available on the earth. But the sun in nature has a light intensity that varies greatly with each time and place. This issue can be overcome by using the Modification  Sepic Converter tool with a fuzzy method to produce a stable electrical voltage so that it becomes usable electrical energy. This tool uses a series of converters connected to photovoltaics. The tool also uses a voltage sensor as feedback for the Fuzzy method to maintain a voltage of 21-23VDC to 48VDC

    Chips are a type of snack or snack made from tubers such as cassava and bananas which are usually produced by home businesses. However, most home-based chips making businesses still use manual tools such as kitchen knives or cutters so that production takes longer, the thickness cannot be adjusted and the risk of workers' hands being injured by knives is added. This cassava and banana chopper uses a driving motor system that is driven by an electric motor with a speed of 1400 RPM HP and the pusher is driven by a power window. The results of this tool chopping obtained thickness in cassava and banana is 1-1.5 mm which is the standard thickness of chips in general. In addition, the results obtained are faster production compared to manual techniques using a kitchen knife or cutter. The conclusion is that the cassava and banana chopper with a driving motor is very efficient for chip craftsme, because the production time is faster and the thickness of the cassava and banana slices is uniform, namely 1-1.5 mm

    Currently, the energy we use is still using fossil energy. In the future, the need for energy will increase because every year there is a large population growth. If you still use fossil energy and don’t find new energy alternatives, then Indonesia will experience a severe energy crisis and certain places will experience blackouts. One of the efforts so that the wind energy crisis can be minimized is to utilize natural energy that has the potensial to generate energy such as the Wind Power Plant. In this study, planning and simulation of Wind Power Plant were carried out to help reduce the use of fossil energy and help the needs of the community in the Talise Beach area. From the results of the study that the average output of wind turbine production is 1,180/hour winh a maximum production of wind turbines per day of 5,665 kW and the construction system cost (NPC) of Rp. 91,340,660,000. Electrical energy that can be generated from wind turbines by utilizing an area of about 42,021.67 m2 is 10,332,498 kWh/year with a total unfulfilled power of 1,416 kW/year. Lack of power or unmet load can be overcome by the existence of a grid/network

    Electrical energy is an important factor to support people's lives. Electrical energy from the generator is channeled through a transmission line to the substation. Transformer (transformer) is a very important equipment in the electric power system. Inside there is oil which functions as an insulating medium and also as a cooling medium. This electrical and thermal load can cause dissolved gases in the transformer oil. This DGA (Dissolved Gas Analysis) test aims to determine the content of dissolved gases in transformer oil and then to analyze using three fault indication methods Total Dissolved Combustible Gas (TDCG) Method, Roger Ratio, and Duval Triangle. Results The analysis uses these three methods to determine corrective actions according to the condition of the transformer oil. Corrective action to return the dissolved gases in the transformer oil back to normal. Transformer oil filtering aims to remove or reduce potentially damaging gases from the transformer oil content. On December 29, 2020 the transformer experienced an increase in the content of flammable hydrogen gas and acetylene gas, the TDCG value was 1520 ppm and after corrective action the dissolved gas content decreased to 481 ppm, so that the condition of the transformer oil returned to normal

    Utilization of solar energy in the generation of electrical energy has been widely carried out using solar panels. One example of its use at Tadulako University is public street lighting using solar energy as a source of electricity. The solar panels that have been installed so far have not been effective because of the different tilt angle positions. There are those who can capture the maximum rays of the sun and there are those who cannot capture the maximum rays of the sun and consequently the electrical energy generated is not optimal.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of changes in orientation and angle of inclination of solar panels on the output power and to optimize the performance of PLTS-based public street lighting in Tadulako University. The method used to determine the effect of the photovoltaic slope on the output power is to measure the short-circuit voltage and current from various forward directions and tilt angles.The influence of the slope and the direction of the front of the photovoltaic installation can be seen that the highest output voltage is 18.82V in the forward-to-west position with an angle of 5˚. The highest short-circuit current is 3.82A in the front-to-west position with a slope angle of 5˚. The highest output power is 47.97W in the front-to-west position with a slope angle of 5˚

    This study aims to determine the effect of the use of a vortex generator on the pressure distribution of the NACA 23012 airfoil. The research method is experimental testing of the NACA 23012 airfoil model with the addition of a vortex generator in the wind tunnel with variations in air velocity 20.96 m/s2, 28.48 m/s2, and 33.90 m/s2, as well as with the angle of attack. The results showed that the airfoil with a vortex generator had a lower pressure coefficient (Cp) than without using a vortex generator

    Noise hazards can occur in almost all work areas and can be sourced from various work equipment. The sound category included in the noise hazard is sound with an intensity of more than 70 dB. In areas where sound has an intensity of more than 70 dB, it is recommended to use hearing protection devices such as ear plugs, while if the sound intensity is more than 80 dB, you must use ear muffs. The work area is usually only given a warning board to use hearing protection equipment, but there is no noise hazard detection device that can give real-time warnings. The purpose of this study is to design a tool that can detect and measure noise levels in a work area. This tool uses the fc-04 tool as a noise level reader which then gives a signal to the Arduino Uno microcontroller which will classify the sound level into 3 levels, namely low, medium and high which are displayed on the LCD board and use 3 LED (green, yellow and red) as an indicator of the level of noise hazard and a warning to use hearing protection
