    KARAKTERISTIK TEGANGAN TEMBUS AC PADA MATERIAL ISOLASI PADAT CAMPURAN EPOXY RESIN DENGAN TONGKOL JAGUNG

    Abstrak – The development of insulation in electric power systems meets the optimal level of reliability. This phenomenon is a challenge in finding new materials to isolate electricity use. One of the insulating materials being developed is an epoxy resin polymer material. This study aims to describe the characteristics of epoxy resin composites added with corncob ash filler as a high-voltage insulation material. The cob ash filler, which is known to contain silica resistant to high temperatures, has good inhibition and can increase mechanical strength. This study was conducted using a direct experimental method in which the isolation of epoxy resin was mixed with corncob ash filler with a mixed variation of 0.5 g, 1 g, 1.5 g, and 2 g. The results show that the more corncob ash filler in the epoxy resin, the faster the failure to penetrate the insulating material made. The breakdown voltage value is 21.64kV on pure epoxy resin insulation material, 10.28kV on a mixture of 0.5 gram corncob ash filler and epoxy resin, 8.93kV on a mixture of 1 gram corncob ash filler and epoxy resin, 7,81kV on a mixture of 1,5 grams corncob ash filler and epoxy resin, and 7,26kV on a mixture of 2 gram corncob ash filler and epoxy resin.Abstrak Arfan Saputra, “Karakteristik Tegangan Tembus Ac Pada Material Isolasi Padat Campuran Epoxy Resin Dengan Tongkol Jagung” (dibimbing oleh Dr. L.M. Kamil Amali,ST,.MT  dan Ade Irawaty Tolago,ST,.MT) Perkembangan penggunaan isolasi dalam sistem tenaga listrik memenuhi tingkat keandalan optimal dan hal ini  merupakan tantangan dalam menemukan material baru sebagai isolasi penggunaan ketenagalistrikan. Salah satu bahan isolasi yang mulai dikembangkan adalah material bahan polimer epoxy resin. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan karakteristik komposit epoxy resin di tambahkan filler abu tongkol jagung sebagai bahan isolasi tegangan tinggi. Adapun filler abu tonggkol jagung ini diketahui menggandung silika yang berfungsi tahan terhadap temperatur tinggi, memiliki hambatan yang baik dan dapat meningkatkan kuat mekenis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode  eksperimen langsung pembuatan isolasi epoxy resin dengan campuran filler abu tongkol jagung dengan variasi campuran filler abu tongkol jagung yakni 0,5 gr, 1 gr 1,5 gr dan 2 gr. Hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa semakin banyak campuran filler abu tongkol jagung pada epoxy resin akan menyebabkan semakin cepat terjadinya kegagalan tembus pada bahan isolator yang dibuat, dimana nilai tegangan tembus material isolasi epoxy resin murni sebesar 21,64kV sedangkan nilai tegangan tembus dari epoxy resin campuran filler abu tongkol jagung 0,5 gram sebesar 10,28 kV, campuran filler abu tongkol jagung 1 gram sebesar 8,93 kV , campuran filler abu tongkol jagung 1,5 gram sebesar 7,81 kV dan campuran filler abu tongkol jagung 2 gram sebesar 7,26 kV

    Utilization of electronic technology in various aspects of human life, both in household needs, education, industry, and human habitation itself. In this discussion is how to design a queuing system based on the Internet of Things using a Raspberry Pi W Zero controller. Internet of Things is a concept in which an object or object is implanted with technologies such as sensors and software with the aim of communicating, controlling, connecting, and exchanging data through other devices while still connected to the internet. In designing this queuing system, a website is needed to support this tool to make it easier for users to register online without having to manually take queue numbers. The programming language used for the Raspberry Pi W Zero controller uses python. Testing this queuing system 100% went well and according to what was designed for the design of an Internet of Things based anti covid 19 queuing system using the Raspberry Pi W Zero. With this tool, it can make it easier for users to register queue numbers and be able to run the appropriate Health protocol system

    The wind is one of the new renewable energy sources that can be used as a source of electrical energy. But the wind in nature has a speed that varies greatly with each time and place. This can be overcome by using the DC-DC Converter tool with a fuzzy method to produce a stable electrical voltage so that it becomes usable electrical energy. This tool uses a series of converters connected to the Arduino microcontroller. The DC-DC converter circuit in this study also uses a voltage sensor as feedback for the Fuzzy method to maintain the stability of the circuit output which varies from 2V-5V, so that it can maintain a voltage of 6.5V which is used as a 6V battery charging. This circuit has an average efficiency of 60% for the open-loop system and 63% for the closed-loop system

    The PLTB module output monitoring system (wind (wind)) is based on a data logger, which in this study was carried out by designing a tool using an INA219 sensor to measure current and voltage, and using Arduino Uno as a data controller and liaison as well as sending the measurement data. sensor to a Laptop whose readings use the PLXdaq application. Based on the research that has been done, this monitoring system shows that it is an efficient and portable monitoring system and PLTB data can be accessed easily via a laptop and can be read directly using the LCD (liquid crystal display). Where the measurement results are in the form of quantities that are in accordance with the measured units such as A (amperes ) for current and V ( voltage ) for voltage, where the results will be displayed through the PLXdaq application in real time. The results of sending current and voltage data on the PLXdaq application have an error that does not exceed 1%

    This research aims to facilitate a more even fish maturation process due to the rotation process of the fish rack which is regulated by the system in Mechanism Timer and Temperature at the Fish Smoking machine. The smoking machine can also make it easier for people to smoke fish. It  has an overall height of 150 cm, door height of 110 cm,  Fuel tank height of 30 cm, and foot height of 10 cm, in the fish smoking room there are 2 fish tray racks. The fuel for the smoking machine uses coconut husk and the coconut shell is equipped with a Digital Thermostat to read the temperature in the room and is also equipped with a Thermohygro to read the humidity in the room.  The working principle of this tool is that the first step is to connect the multi-plug to the power source, from the power source to the MCB, the MCB gets current and when the MCB is turned on, the current enters the Push Button Switch, and when the Push Button On is pressed, the red light turns on, indicating there is the current that enters the Digital Thermostat digital from the Thermostat to the plug terminal, from the plug terminal to the Timer and from the Timer to the Power Supply From the Power Supply changes the current from 220 volts to 12 volts when the green light is on then the Power Window functions by moving the fish rack tray

    Effect of NaCl Immersion Media on Corrosion Rate on ST 42 Steel in Kepok Banana Peel Inhibitor Extraction. This study aims to determine the corrosion rate of ST 42 steel using an inhibitor of kepok banana peel extraction with various NaCl immersion media. Sample immersion time is 168, 336, 504 hours. The method used to calculate the corrosion rate is to measure the weight loss. The sample of this research was carried out in the Mechanical Engineering laboratory, Faculty of Engineering and the Pharmacy laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Tadulako University. The results obtained in the variation of NaCl 2.5%, 3.0%, 3.5%, 4.0%, 4.5%, inhibitor kepok banana peel extraction 300 ppm, an increase in corrosion rate with increasing NaCl variation with the same amount of extraction inhibitor, this is because the percentage of NaCl variation greatly affects the corrosion rate

    In office buildings, electrical energy is needed to meet the needs of lighting to electronic equipment used in the building. To support all of that, a reliable electrical installation system is needed so that all office activities can run well without causing significant problems. Therefore the planning of the electrical installation system in a building must refer to the applicable rules and regulations in accordance with PUIL and SNI. The design carried out refers to PUIL 2011, SNI 03-6575-2001 (Lighting System Design Procedures). The entire electrical installation system gets a 3 Phase supply from PLN. The total power in this building is 80000 watts, so the power needed from PLN to connect is 160 KVA. Conductors used in this installation, use cables with NYM and NYY types with varying sizes in accordance with the calculation of the conveying CRC that has been done

    In an effort to provide reliable and efficient electrical energy, substations have an important role in regulating the demand for electric power loads and as a center for securing electrical power system components in a certain area. Frequent disturbances become a benchmark for an electric power system whether or not it is good or not in an effort to provide reliable and efficient energy. One of the maintenance measures is temperature measurement using thermal imagers, which is commonly referred to as thermovision measurement.Thermal imager is a tool that can be used for predictive maintenance activities to monitor the condition and performance of an equipment so that the possibility of equipment failure can be minimized. In October 2020, after thermovisiting transformer bay 6 at the Sunyaragi substation, it was discovered that there was a hotspot on the T-phase separation blade, causing heating of the blade, the above conditions can result in a decrease in PMS performance, with the worst condition if left alone can result in damage to the PMS blade and can also melt when the peak load is on the transformer 6. Under these conditions, maintenance is carried out by maintaining contact resistance, insulation resistance, and grounding resistance. The results of the analysis of contact resistance after maintenance show that the equipment is in good condition and still suitable for use, with a value of 7μΩ for the R phase, 6.5μΩ for the S phase, and 6.7μΩ for the T phase

    Electricity has become a basic need for various human activities, because electricity has functions and benefits that are vital in daily life which has become a basic need in encouraging national development in all fields. One part of the world electricity is the installation of lighting that is also me njadi one of the main points in a building, it is very necessary that human activity has remained secure and running smoothly. In this study, the writer will design an electrical installation for a building, namely the office building of the Population and Family Planning Control Office (P2KB) of Central Sulawesi Province, JL. RA Kartini NO. 100 Palu City. This study aims to make an electrical installation design in accordance with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and the General Electrical Installation regulations (PUIL), so that the installation is designed to be more effective and efficient. In the design of this installation also made design drawings for installation in buildings. Based on the design planning of the electrical installation that has been done, the results are obtained, the total electrical power from the electrical installation of this building is 60246 watts or 75307 VA and for electricity supply is taken from PLN, namely 3-phase electricity with a capacity of 82,500 VA. The conductor used in this installation uses NYY and NYM cable types. The security used in this installation consists of 2 types, namely NFB and MCB , in addition to this building installation system is also given a PHB box to facilitate maintenance and repair in case of damage. Taking into account the economic and safety factors of the installation, the total Budget Plan (RAB) for the installation of the building of the Population and Family Planning Control Office (P2KB) is Rp. 223,600,00

    SISTEM MONITORING KENAIKAN SUHU PADA TRANSFORMER BERBASIS IoT

    Transformers play an important role in generating electrical energy so that in maintaining their performance this transformer has a lot of protection so that the transformer can work as much as possible. Many things can interfere with transformers, namely when the transformer is overheated, a short circuit occurs, or is struck by lightning causing the transformer to burn, so a system that can provide fast, and extensive information is needed and is handled automatically by monitoring the temperature of the main transformer using a smartphone connected to the internet network. In this study, 2 DS18B20 sensors were used which were equipped with a Manual Call Point (MCP) as input and an ESP32 microcontroller module in which there was a Wi-Fi module as a data processor, then the output data would be sent via the internet to the Internet Of Things (IoT) platform for display. In the form of values, graphs, and notifications. The measurement results are in the form of temperature units in C which will be displayed via a smartphone using the Blynk IoT platform in the form of numbers and graphs in real-time according to the value detected by the sensor. Tests on sensors resulted in an average error of 3.29% on the Low side and 3.01% on the Upside
