    Muara Tawar Gas Turbine Power Plant is one of the generating units in Indonesia. Combined Cycle Power Plant is a plant that has a fast response to load changes. Therefore changes in the load on the combined cycle often occurs. To keep performance at combined cycle power plant, existing equipment must be maintained in a condition PLTGU order to work optimally. At this final project will be analysis the effect compessor washing to compressor efficiency and gas turbine eficiency of gas turbine combine cycle power plant block 1.1 UP Muara by analyzing the resulting efficiency compressor and gas turbine. From the results of this study found that the highest compressor efficiency of gas before compressor washing is 0.31% and after compressor washing is 0.53 %. Highest Thermal efficiency before compressor washing is 0.039% and after compressor washing is 1.461%

    Paper ini menjelaskan hasil penelitian bio-oil dari proses pirolisis biomassa cangkang kemiri pada sistem pirolisis vakum. Temperatur dan tekanan vakum digunakan sebagai parameter input untuk mengetahui yields cangkang kemiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan reaktor pirolisis fast fixed bed dengan menambahkan pipa di dalam reaktor untuk mengalirkan udara panas. Pipa api ini dimaksudkan untuk menambah luasan permukaan yang bersentuhan dengan biomassa sehingga diharapkan panas yang diterima dapat lebih merata.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada temperatur 400 0C, tekanan -20 kPa, laju panas tetap pada 15 0C/menit dan waktu penahanan selama 60 menit, yield bio-oil adalah 43.04%. Pengujian dengan kalorimeter diperoleh nilai kalor asap cair sebesar 29.42 MJ/kg. Nilai tersebut memperlihatkan hasil yang lebih tinggi dari beberapa jenis biomassa lainnya. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan secara simultan antara temperatur dan tekanan terhadap nilai properti yield cangkang kemiri. Sebaliknya secara parsial pengaruh temperatur sangat dominan dibandingkan tekanan terhadap yield asap cair

    Motorcycles for competitive purposes require a proper adjustment of ignition to produce the most optimum performance. For this reason, this article presents one of re-mapping technique on the Stand Alone Electronic Control Unit (ECU) applied to 130 cc motorcycle injection for competition purposes. This re-mapping activity aims to produce the best torque and power output. The method used by combining four fuel mappings and two ignition mappings tested with the full factorial design. The results showed that lean combustion and advanced ignition timing were able to produce the optimum torque of 11.57 Nm and optimum power of 19.6 hp

    This purification tool is an alternative technology to purify the hazelnut oil by utilizing natural bentonite as an adsorbent. The type of adsorption tool is a type of fixed bed coloums (vertical cylinder), which the column is equipped with bentonite adsorbent bed. This hazelnut oil purification tool is designed with a capacity of 5 liters. Designed material using PVC pipe as high as 160 cm, while for media column adsorber made of acrylic 2 inc as 30 cm in diameter average of 50 mm, Bentonit as adsorbent filled into column as high as 80 cm. Adsorber is also equipped with a fine filter media at the top and bottom. To circulate the candlenut oil continuously the adsorber is equipped with a low pressure pump. Bentonite size 10 mesh, 20 mesh and 30 mesh burned in furnace reach 300 0C temperature then activated with H2SO4 1 M by immersion. After rinsing with aquadest bentonite dried in an oven at 110oC. To analyze the performance of the adsorber was performed the operation of the equipment by analyzing the samples at circulation time 15, 30, 45, and 60 minutes. From the results of the study the longer the circulation time (60 minutes) and the size of bentonite particles as the adsorbent getting smaller (30 mesh), the resulting candlenut oil more pure. Refractive index of 1.474, Weight of type 0,92443 and calorific value 33786. The yield of kemiri oil using natural bentonite adsorbent in accordance with SNI quality standard 01-4462-1998

    Centrifugal pumps are widely used equipment in a variety of industrial applications and some other sectors. The pump works by converting mechanical energy into kinetic energy or press. Pressure at the pump increases at low pressure (lower than atmospheric pressure). This research is to know the analysis of cavitation on water purification process at Unit Water Treatment At PT. XXX in Karawang. The analysis was performed on the centrifugal pump to calculate the speed of the suction pipe, the speed of the compressive pipe and calculate the Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) to determine whether the pump worked by cavitation and analyze the speed with the Solidworks sofwar simulation. Creating computer modeling and simulation of suction pipe speed mechanism and speed of pipe press with Sofwar Solidworks. Counting head losses on suction pipe and head losses on press pipes. Calculate the Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH) to determine whether the pump that works is affected by Cavitation. This study is expected to provide information and reviews for industries using centrifugal pumps for the design of suction pipes and press pipes to reduce damage to impeller due to cavitation. As reference material for the user of centrifugal pump for redesign of impeller. Available NPSH is 2.13 and NPSH is required 0.5 to avoid cavitation due to the available NPSH value greater than required NPSH value

    In this increasingly modern era, many needs are increasing, one of which is energy. Fossil energy has long been the main fuel used on machines. Excessive use of energy further decreases the availability of fossil energy. To reduce the dependence on fossil energy that its formation is very long and quickly exhausted, hence the need for the utilization of alternative energy more environmentally friendly and easy to get. In this research, electrical energy analysis on hybrid electric bikes is done. In this analysis includes the utilization of electrical energy and electrical energy consumption on a hybrid electric bike with the test results to utilize the energy wasted on a hybrid electric bike at a speed of 25 km / h when the horizontal road condition is 9.36 watts. Whereas with the utilization of wasted energy at a speed of 20 km / h when the road conditions horizontally, the generator generated power of 8.16 watts. While on road conditions decreases at a speed of 15 km / h when the road conditions decrease is 3 watts and at a speed of 10 km / h power raised by 0.03 watts. For electric energy consumption of power used by hybrid electric bikes at the initial loading with a distance of 25 meters and travel time of 12.83 seconds is 87.61 watts, while for horizontal road conditions at a constant speed of 20 km / h is 29.42 watts with Covering 475 meters. While the power used by a hybrid electric bike on a ride load up to 25 meters with a slope of 220 at a speed of 5 km / h will consume power of 483.85 watts

    Cu-Zn 70/30 alloy are used for various equipment to industry application. However, Cu-Zn 70/30 alloy has a weakness that is susceptible corrosion due to exposure to corrosive environments such as chloride ion (Cl-). Therefore, these characteristics can reduce working efficiency and performance equipment. This research focuses to study about increasing of toughness, corrosion resistance, and surface quality from Cu-Zn 70/30 alloy by conducting Themomechanical Control Process (TMCP). Warm rolling on temperature 300°C is experienced by double pass reversible method with deformation 2x25%, 2x30%, and 2x35%. Warm temperature is temperature between hot and cold work for obtain small grains with a narrow grain boundaries. The result showed that as the increase of deformation degree from 31.6% to be 48.93% causes a decrease diameter grain size, the size of the average grain size decrease from 50.53 μm to be 24.41 μm. This phenomenon is due to partial recrystallization which is indicated by existence of nuclei
