PERANCANGAN ALAT BANTU UNTUK REMOVE AND INSTALL PISTON STEERING CYLINDER PADA UNIT HD1500-7
The number of jobs and the duration of the process of replacing the steering cylinder seals (reseal) on the HD1500-7 unit, especially when removing and installing the piston steering cylinder on the rod by a mechanic causes the loss of rental costs and failure to achieve the company's target due to breakdown. The purpose of this study is to design tools to shorten the time and simplify the process in order to minimize the loss of rental costs and more secure. The method used in this research is field survey, interview, and library research. The results obtained after the new tool indicate a time efficiency of 1 hour for one-time processing and can reduce the loss of rental costs of $ 70 (Rp.910.000) and safer for demage and mechanical properties because of the potential slip when the tool is used
SINTESIS FASA ɣ-Co PADA PADUAN Co26Cr6Mo0.18N DENGAN KOMBINASI METODE HOMOGENISASI 1200 oC DAN HOT ROLLING SERTA TRANSFORMASI STRUKTUR KRISTALNYA
Co-Cr-Mo alloy is a material that widely used for bioimplant in the medical field due to its corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. Structurally, recommended Co-Cr-Mo alloys for medical applications are ɣ-Co phase which has an FCC structure. But, Co7Mo6 metastable phase often occurs after its synthesis. The formation of Co7Mo6 phase will decrease the composition of ɣ-Co phase. This study aimed to synthesize ɣ-Co phase without following the appearance of Co7Mo6 phase using a combination of 1200 oC homogenization and hot rolling followed by cooling treatment. The alloy used was Co26Cr6Mo0.18N ingot. Cooling treatments were done using the variation of cold water, water and air. The transformation of the crystal structure from the primitive cubic to the FCC occurs during water and air cooling treatments which means that ɣ-Co phase is successfully formed by those cooling treatments. However, Co7Mo6 phase is still formed on the water cooling treatment while none of Co7Mo6occurred on the air cooling treatment. Structurally, air cooling treatment produces most stable ɣ-Co phase than the others. However, brittle ɛ-Co phase as a partial dislocation is formed after air cooling treatment due to imperfection of hot rolling treatment
PERUBAHAN MORFOLOGI STRUKTUR MIKRO PADUAN Cu-Zn 70/30 YANG DILAKUKAN TMCP DI SUHU 300°C DENGAN VARIASI WAKTU TAHAN PEMANASAN
Cu-Zn alloy (70/30) used extensively for core and tank automotive radiator, ammunition component, and architectural hardware so that susceptible to exposure of corrosive environments such as seawater and ammonia environments. Therefore, this research focuses on the study of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance Cu-Zn 70/30 by implementing warm rolling TMCP method. Thermo-Mechanical Controlled Processing (TMCP) is one method consists of controlled heating and controlled forming to produce high quality materials. Rolling process was conducted in reversible way with deformation degree of 60% (30%-30%) and before each pass of the rolling the material is heated up to temperature 300oC with different holding time from 30, 60, and 120 minutes. The results showed that as the longer holding time of the heating and was continued by further deformation, it affects the grain size to be much smaller from 92.2 μm to 36.5 μm. In addition, it is also found an increasing of annealed twin, deformed twin, as well as finer and newer grains that indicate partial dynamic recrystallization
ANALISIS PENGARUH KETEBALAN SHIM TERHADAP PERUBAHAN TEKANAN PENGABUTAN NOZZLE TIPE SATU LUBANG PADA ISUZU PANTHER
The development of technology increased rapidly. As a result of the rapid development, there will be a wide variety of technology design, especially in the field of automotive engines. Therefore it needs research and analyzes of the shim thickness variation in the injection pressure, carburetion and carburation trail that produced. Motor vehicle Emission exhaust gas contains harmful pollutant to human and the environment, the pollutant which is produced such as carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, nitrogen oxides , lead, sulfur and other particulates, for that we need the effort to reduce pollution caused by exhausted emissions through optimal combustion in chamber. This study aims to determine the thickness of the shim to pressure, device for spraying diesel on an injector. It influences motor burning process and trace generated fog and to determine the shim thickness used for nozzle Type Bosch No. DN12SD12T. In this paper the authors collected data using methods of literature, interview, observation and experiment. The type of vehicle in this study is Isuzu Panther C223 Turbo Diesel by using Nozzle Type One Hole and it has nozzle serial number Type Bosch No. DN12SD12T. The result showed that the opening pressure for standart nozzles is Type Bosch No. DN12SD12T for 5 times experiment for the shim thickness of 0.05 mm to produce an injection pressure of 5 bar, shim thickness of 0.10 mm to produce an injection pressure of 10 bar, shim thickness of 0.15 mm to produce an injection pressure of 15 bar, shim thickness 0, 20 mm to produce an injection pressure of 20 bar, shim thickness of 0.25 mm to produce an injection pressure of 25 bar, the shim thickness selected from 0.05 mm to 0.25 mm with carburetion pressure of 25 bar. The thicker the shim setter given the opening pressure nozzles and pressure also getting bigger. The thicker the shim setter, the bigger the force that is received by a spring on the nozzle
PENGARUH BUTIRAN FILLER KAYU SENGON TERHADAP KARAKTERISTIK PAPAN PARTIKEL YANG BERPENGUAT SERAT TANDAN KOSONG KELAPA SAWIT
The waste of palm empty fruit bunches in Province Banten, especially Pandeglang and Lebak Region had been used optimally until today. The others hand, this waste to be environmental problem. This article will discuss the exploiting fiber of palm empty fruit bunches for reinforce the particle board. Composition and percentage of particle board consist of 15% fiber, 15% epoxy resin, 20% PVAc and 50% wood sawdust. Specimens were made by cold press single punch method with pressure 30 bar. The particle board characteristics will observed is density, hardness, impact strength, elastic limit, deformation and micro structure. From this research was obtained that the particle board mesh 18 have the highest elastic limit and impact strength, that is 1157.86N/mm2 and 8.601kJ/m2, respectively. The deformation and density is 2.42% and 0.87gr/cm3, respectively

The main purpose of this paper is to obtain a portrait of the level of maturity (maturity level) automotive component industry in Indonesia. With the completion of the level of maturity of industry ritating component parts can be recommended treatment is needed for each industry based on the level. In accordance with the objectives to be achieved, the scope of this activity is only focused on a rotating component wheel vehicle part 4 (four). The conceptual development stages of maturity level models (maturity level) automotive components industry, which are as follows: Desk review, collection and development of data using secondary data is required, Collection and selection of manufacturing industry maturity model framework, Preparation checklist or questionnaire, Implementation of the framework was elected in selected automotive components industry and Do the processing, calculation and analysis of data with the approach of maturity models. The result of this paper is Indonesia's automotive component industry has the potential to be developed and reliable, and can be one of the competitive component suppliers in vehicle production in ASEAN. PENGARUH WAKTU PERENDAMAN DAN PENAMBAHAN KONSENTRASI NaCl (PPM) TERHADAP LAJU KOROSI BAJA LATERIT
Most of carbon steel are produced from hematite iron ore. The decreasing of hematite iron ore in Indonesia, encouraged iron and steel company to produced carbon steel from laterite mineral, which has high deposit in Indonesia with high grade iron (50% Fe). One of the application of laterite steel as material rooftop bridge. The objective of this research to observe the influence of NaCl increasing to corrosion rate of carbon steel from laterite iron ore on lake water environment. Chemical composition of laterite steel is adding of element such as Cr and Ni, which classified laterite steel into low alloy steel and may effected corrosion behaviour of these steel. Corrosion rate measurement are conducted by weight loss method, which laterite steel immersed in lake water with time period 48, 72, 120, and 168 hour at NaCl adding 200, 300, and 400 ppm. From weight loss testing shows that corrosion rate of laterite steel increase about from 2.9 mpy until 3.2 mpy

PERANCANGAN SISTEM PEMADAM KEBAKARAN PADA PERKANTORAN DAN PABRIK LABEL MAKANAN PT XYZ DENGAN LUAS BANGUNAN 1125 M2
PT. XYZ is a company engaged in the production of labeling for food and beverage products, fire cases in other factories, reminding the owner to keep his assets safe and comfortable. So it is necessary to plan and design Fire Fighting System to protect the building and its assets. So it is necessary to plan and design Fire Fighting System to protect the building and its assets. This research begins with taking and collecting data in the form of layout of old building condition and layout of new building condition and other technical data needed. Data processing conducted refers to SNI 03-3985-2000, SNI 03-3987-1995, SNI 1745-1989-F, NFPA 13, NFPA 10 and NFPA 14 standards, including design of sprinkler, hydrant and APAR systems (Fire Extinguishers Lightweight) is required, calculate the need for fire water, calculate the total head and pump power required. Based on the result of the research, it is found that the building is classified as light fire hazard and designed using sprinkler type of wet pipe system and the required sprinkler head count is 130 pieces with temperature sensitivity of 57 °C orange glass bulb color, direction emission down, building hydrants as much as 1 piece, page and city hydrants as much as 1 piece, 15 types of dry chemical APAR type and type APAR (CO2) as much as I fruit. The volume of water supply needed for the fire-fighting system is 150 m3. The pipe used is a type of cast iron pipe with total head at the pump of 71.748 meters. The calculation of pump capacity in this planning is 11,576 hp and the originator 14,622 hp
ANALISIS KONSUMSI BAHAN BAKAR SEPEDA MOTOR YANG DIGUNAKAN SEBAGAI TENAGA PUTAR POMPA
Dry season is one of complicated problem for farmers in cultivating, because water is the main requirement for plant whereas there is no enough irrigation. One of the solution is using water pump, it takes ground water to irrigate rice field. But we need to make it more simple and more efficient using motorcycle activator 110 cc. This research used comparison between fuel consumption and water flow by pump. From research finding with water flow motorcycle activator of 46.8 m3/hour with fuel consumption of 0.751/hour whereas the use of irrigation water pump engine flow of 36 m3/hour with fuel consumption by 1,81/hour. From the discussion of the findings, it can be concluded that water pump using motorcycle activator, it is more economical of fuel consumption and it is bigger of water flow. Beside that it is more simple to bring it into rice field
