    PENGARUH DANA BOS DAN SARANA PRASARANA SEKOLAH TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI SMK NEGERI 1 SURAKARTA TAHUN AJARAN 2015/2016

    The purposes of this study are to testt: (1) BOS funds influence to the learning outcomes of class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016, (2) the effect of school infrastructure on learning outcomes of class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016, (3) Effect of BOS funds and school infrastructure simultaneously to the learning outcomes of class XI student of SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta.Population in this study were all students of class XI in SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016 and all the teachers that administer subjects in the eleventh grade. Sampling technique that used was proportional random sampling to determine the sample of students, and saturated sampling techniques to determine the sample of teachers. This research used descriptive quantitative approach. To obtain the data about BOS funds and school infrastructure Data was collected by using questionnaire technique (to obtain primary data) and structured interview techniques to obtain secondary data. Technique analysis dat a that used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis.The results of this study are follows: (1) there is positive and significant correlation between the BOS and school infrastructure simultaneously on student learning outcomes. (2) there is a positive and significant influence between BOS and student learning outcomes, by t- test results are known that Ho rejected and Ha accepted. (3) there are significant positive and significant correlation between school infrastructure and student learning outcomes, Based on t-test  results  can  be  concluded  that  if  school  infrastructures  are good,  student  learning outcomes can be increased too

    IMPLEMENTASI MODEL DISCOVERY LEARNING DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERFIKIR KRITIS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MATA PELAJARAN EKONOMI KELAS XI IIS I SMA NEGERI 6 SURAKARTA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2014/2015

    The purpose of this research is to improve critical thinking skills and students learning outcomes of economic subject at class XI IIS I of Senior High School 6 Surakarta in academic year of 2014/2015 with the implementation of discovery learning Model by using scientific approach. The subjects were students of class XI IIS 1 of Senior High School 6 Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/2015 with 30 students. Sources of data derived from the teachers, students, and documents. The technique of data collection used are (a) Observation, (b) Test, (c) documentation, (d) interviews. Techniques for the validity of the data used triangulation of data sources and triangulation tec hniques. Comparative analysis, simple quantitative and qualitative analysis is used for analyzing the data. The procedures of this research are (a) planning, (b) action, (c) observation, (d) reflection.Based on the research results, the learning process with the implementation of discovery learning model by using scientific approach can improve critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of the students. It depends on the critical thinking skills cycle according to the indicators. These indicators increase 22,83 % (pre cycle percentage 47,17% and 70,00% on the first cycle). The students learning outcomes also increased 11,83% (the pre cycle average points 72,27 (2,89) and the first cycle 3,36 84,10 (3,36)) by the completeness presentation 30% (the pre-cycle completeness percentage is 43,33% and 73,33% on the first cycle). On the cycle II, the critical thinking skills of students continue to increase, it can be seen that the critical thingking indicator increase 11,50% (the first cycle percentage is 70,00 % and second cycle is 81,50%. Student learning outcomes on cycle II is also increased 8% and the completeness percentage is 13,34% (the first cycle percentage 73,33 and second cycle 86,67%). The conclusion of this research is the implementation of Discovery Learning Model by using scientific approach can improve students’ critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in Economics subject at class XI IIS I of Senior High School 6 Surakarta, in the academic year of 2014/2015

    The purposes of this study are: 1) to figure out the district / city that has reached the maximum level of relative efficiency in Central Java province in 2007 to 2012, 2) to find out the district / city that has not reached the maximum level of relative efficiency in the province of Central Java in 2007 to 2012, 3) to propose solutions and references toward the district / city in central Java province in the year 2007 to 2012 so that the district / city is able to improve their prosperity. This research is a quantitative research. The population is 35 district / city in Central Java province. Data collection technique used is documentation. The technique used to analyze the data analysis uses the application Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA).The results of the study are as follows: 1 ) There were 12 districts / cities have reached relative efficiency in 2007, 8 districts / cities have reached relative efficiency in 2008, 6 districts / cities have reached relative efficiency in 2009, 5 districts / cities have reached relative efficiency in 2010, 6 districts / cities have reached relative efficiency in 2011 and 9 districts / cities have reached relative efficiency in 2012, 2 )There were 23 district / cities have not reached their efficiency yet in 2007, 27 district / cities have not reached their efficiency yet in 2008, 29 districts / cities have not reached their efficiency yet in 2009, 30 districts / cities have not reached their efficiency yet in 2010, 29 districts / cities have not reached their efficiency yet in 2011 and 26 districts / cities have not reached their efficiency yet on 2012, 3 ) Districts / cities goverment that have reached their maximum efficiency can be used as overview of the example of areas that have not reached their efficiency to increase their relative efficiency with choose proper activities, decreasing activities or cut off activities, so they can improve their people prosperity

    The purpose of this study was to determinethe suitability level of service quality performanceat SMK Batik 1which includes tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy simultaneously and partially.This study uses survey research methods. The study population was SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. Samples were taken by proportional random technique. The research data obtained by questionnaire. The validity of the data carried by the internal validity. Analysis of the data used in this research is the analysis of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA).The conclusion of this study were: 1) the satisfaction of students is lower than the quality of service in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. 2) The high level of expectation of students on the performance of services seen from the dimensions of service quality has been determined, indicating that the level of expectation of students on a quality service at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta is quite important. 3) The low level of performance of service quality as seen from the dimensions of service quality has been determined show that the level of quality of service performance in SMK Batik 1 Surakarta is unsatisfactory students. 4) 30 indicators that are analized then there are 6 indicators included in the quadrant A, which is the main priority, 10 indicators are included in quadrantgB (performance and expevtation was based), who fall into quadrant C there are 7 indicators (low priority), 7 indicators included in quadrant D (be overestimated by students

    The purpose of this research is to find out the existence of the influence of marketing mix; product, price, promotion dan place on the increase of sales in Sharia Financial Services Cooperative in Kendal District. The research was conducted on Cooperative Management; Chief of Cooperation/ Cooperative Secretary/ Country Lower, Cooperative Employees or Cooperative Members of the 8 Sharia Financial services Cooperative in  Kendal District. Method used on this research is quantitative research. This research used data in form questionnaires given to 33 respondents. Data analysis used validity test and questionnaire reliability. The result  tested using the double regression analysis with parameter test, model precision test and classic assumption. The validity and and reliability test stated that given questionnaires are valid and reliable. Data analysis result shown that product variable gave positive score to the increase of sales in Sharia Financial Services Cooperative in  Kendal District. The effect of product  is 5,616.   Price variable gave positive score to the increase of sales in Sharia Financial Services Cooperative in Kendal District. The effect of price is 5,701.  Promotion variable gave positive score to the increase of sales in Sharia Financial Services Cooperative in Kendal District.  The effect of promotion is 6,633. Mean while place  variable also gave positive to the increase of sales in Sharia Financial Services Cooperative in Kendal District. The effect of place is 4,665. The F-test and T-test state that marketing mix; product, price, promotion, and place variable have a significant and positive impact to the increase of sales in Sharia Financial Services Cooperative in Kendal District.  From the result of analysis, it can be concluded that product, price, promotion, and place have a positive and significant impact to the increase of sales in Sharia Financial Services Cooperative in Kendal District.  Really explained that on the four  variables  is  94,2% and the other 5,8% is explained by other variable out of this research

    The purpose of this research is to improve critical thinking skills and students learning outcomes of economic lesson at class X IIS 1of Senior High Sschool 3 Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/2015 with the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The type of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is students at X IIS 1 of Senior High School 3 Surakarta in the academic year of 2014/2015 with 32 students. The procedures of this research are (a) planning, (b) action, (c) observation, and (d) reflection. Based on the research results, the learning process with the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can increase the critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of the students. It can be seen in the cycle I that the students’ critical thinking skills in terms of every indicator aspect are pre research 27,1%, cycle I 70,17%, and cycle II 82,52%, and the individual critical thinking skills are pre cycle 16,13%, cycle I 70%, and cycle II 85,48%. Students learning outcomes are also increased at pre cycle have average value 78,41 (percentage of completeness 71,88%), cycle I becomes 82,67 (percentage of completeness 84,38%), cycle II becomes 85,54 (percentage of completeness 93,75%)

    This study aims to find out (1) the existence of graduates and establish continuous communication and up date from graduates of the Masters in Economic Education; (2) identify competency profiles and skills of graduate stakeholders; (3) Knowing the relevance of implementing the curriculum to the needs of the labor market.The population of this tracer study activity is all graduates of the economic education master program from various generations and all companies / institutions / agencies / institutions both public or private where the graduates work. The samples used in this study are graduates who can be contacted face to face and via online (SMS, whatsapp, etc.)The results of the study are (1) The average length of alumni get a job for 5 months, while the old percentage of alumni get jobs <6 months by 69.57%, 6 - 12 months by 30.43%, and> 18 months by 0%; (2) Graduates work as lecturers at private universities as much as 30.43%, lecturers at state universities as much as 26.09%, teachers in government schools both civil servants and honorary teachers as much as 26.09%, teachers in private schools as much as 8.70%, government agencies as much as 4.35%, and private companies as much as 4.35%; (3) The alumni's work is 100% in accordance with the field of economic education; (4) Graduates constraints in finding work or while working are mastery in a foreign language (English), this is indicated by the results of a survey of 52.38% of graduates having difficulty finding work related to foreign language (English) mastery requirements. In addition, graduates who have worked also experienced the same thing, namely 71.74% said it was difficult to communicate in a foreign language (English); (5) Graduates provide input related to the learning process that should be carried out by MPE lecturers by way of discussion learning, this is indicated by the alumni's suggestion of 68.25% concerning discussion learning; (6) Graduates assess the canteen and photo facilities of coffee are less feasible to support lecture activities with a poor rating of 71.43%

    Kebijakan dividen merupakan suatu keputusan perusahaan mengenai pembagian laba kepada para pemegang saham dalam bentuk dividen, atau menahannya dalam bentuk laba ditahan. Kebijakan dividen tersebut sering menimbulkan perbedaan kepentingan antara pemegang saham dan manajemen. Maka dari itu perlu adanya keselarasan antara pemegang saham dan manajemen dalam mengambil keputusan kebijakan dividen agar dapat melihat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kebijakan dividen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Agency Cost, Profitabilitas, dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) terhadap Kebijakan Dividen yang di proksikan dengan Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) pada sektor industri dasar dan kimia yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2012-2016. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari laporan keuangan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan sektor industri dasar dan kimia yang terdaftar di BEI. Teknik pemilihan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling dan diperoleh 11 sampel dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun sehingga didapat 55 unit sampel perusahan sektor industri dasar dan kimia periode 2012-2016. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi data panel dengan menggunakan Software Eviews 9.0. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan Agency Cost, Profitabilitas, dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen. Sedangkan secara parsial, Agency Cost berpengaruh negatif terhadap Kebijakan Dividen, Profitabilitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kebijakan Dividen dan Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) berpengaruh positif terhadap Kebijakan Dividen. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, apabila perusahaan menginginkan untuk membagikan dividen harus memperhatikan sumber pendanaan untuk pembagian dividen kepada pemegang saham, hal ini dikarenakan perusahaan cenderung menjadikan utang perusahaan dibandingkan laba sebagai dasar pembayaran dividennya

    Macro environment analysis of automotive industry in Indonesia

    Indonesia remains attractive for economic study. Its development makes Indonesia interesting for investment with no exception to automotive industry. Indonesia is the country holding the biggest car purchase record South East Asian countries. There will be more challenges along with opportunities ahead therefore industrial analysis is required in order to help automotive players in Indonesia to prepare appropriate strategies for their sustainability and growth. In this paper, PEST analysis was utilized to identify politic, economic, social and technology environment of current Indonesia automotive industry and 5 Forces Michael Porter analysis was utilized to measure the industry attractiveness. It was founded out that there is potential in production growth because government intervened by promoting local content requirement policy for all OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) to be fully implemented in 2019. The opportunity has also come from growth of financial industry since 65% of Indonesian people buy car by credit. Infrastructure development and government spending will also drive industry growth for specific category of vehicles. However control from government is still needed to balance the use of personal vehicle and mass transportation, otherwise it will result in more traffic problem, air pollution and decrease comfort in big cities such as Jakarta. While rivalry, threat of substitute and bargaining power of suppliers are high, bargaining power of buyer is low and threat of new entrant for automotive industry in Indonesia is medium considering high initial investmen

    The objective of this research is to improve the critical thinking ability and the learning achievement in Consumer-Based Decision Confirmation of the students in Grade X of Marketing Department of Vocational High School Batik 1 of Surakarta   in Academic Year 2014/2015 through the application of the Cooperative Learning Model of the TPS type. This research used the classroom action research (CAR) with two cycles. The achievement of research shows that the cooperative learning model of the TPS type could improve the critical thinking ability and the learning achievement in the Consumer-Based Decision Confirmation subject matter of the students in Grade X of Marketing Department of Vocational High School Batik 1 of Surakarta in Academic Year as shown by the following: The critical thinking ability on the aspect of Focusing Problems increased as much as 29.03% (In Cycle I it was 64.52%, and in Cycle II it became 93.55%); the critical thinking ability on the aspect of Considering Sources or Theories increased as much as 32.26% (In Cycle I it was 58.06%, and in Cycle II it became 90.32%); the critical thinking ability on the aspect of Identifying Problems increased as much as 35.49% (In Cycle I it was 58.06%, and in Cycle II it  became  93.55%);  the  critical  thinking  ability  on  the  aspect  of  Giving Alternatives to Solve Problems increased as much as 32.25% (in Cycle I it was 54.84%, and in Cycle II it became 87.09%); the critical thinking ability on the aspect of Explaining Alternatives to Solve Problems increased as much as 32.26% (in Cycle I it was 51.61%, and in Cycle II it became 83.87%); and the critical thinking ability on  the  aspect  of  Drawing Conclusions  increased  as  much  as 22.58% ( in Cycle I it was 74.19%, and in Cycle II it became 96.77%). Furthermore, prior to the application of the cooperative learning model of the TPS type,  class  average  score  was  75.23  with  learning  completeness  of  47%. Following the treatment, the score average score became 77 with the learning completeness of 74.2% in Cycle I and 83.38 with the learning completeness of 90.32% in Cycle II. Thus, the application of the cooperative learning model of the TPS type could improve the critical thinking ability and the learning achievement in the Consumer-Based Decision Confirmation subject matter
