Effect of Acrylamide and Potassium Persulfate on The Characteristics of Water Hyacinth-Carrageenan Bead Gel Using Microwave Grafting Method
The cellulose of water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes) was utilized as raw material in bead gel production. In this research, hydrogel was prepared by grafting of acrylamide (AA) monomers onto the water hyacinth cellulose as the backbone using the microwave to produce hydrogel. This research aimed to determine the influence of adding AA and potassium persulfate (PPS) as an initiator on characteristic of swelling capacity in water. The cellulose powder obtained from the stem of water hyacinth was immersed in NaOH solution (1.5 N) for the delignification process for 10 min. The resulted cellulose was mixed with water and varying additions of 4, 7, dan 10 g acrylamide (AA) and 0.05, 0.10, and 0.15 g PPS to undergo grafting reaction. The obtained gel was washed and soaked in the acetone to remove the unreacted AA and PPS. The resulting precipitated solid was dried and called Water Hyacinth Cellulose Grafted Polyacrylamide (WH cellulose-g-PAA). The mixture of carrageenan with WH cellulose-g-PAA underwent crosslinking using aqueous KCl and CaCl2 after passing through palm oil layer to form bead gel. The properties of the dried bead gel were tested for functional groups using FTIR and for swelling capacity in water. Based on the FTIR test results, it can be concluded that AA monomers were successfully grafted onto the water hyacinth cellulose backbone. The addition of AA that is too low or too high will reduce the swelling capacity, as well as PPS

The Role Of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy In Enhancing Academic Resilience: A Systematic Literature Review
Academic resilience, the ability of students to achieve success despite facing various challenges, is becoming an increasingly critical aspect of education. Factors such as socio-economic disparities, mental health issues, and academic obstacles can complicate the learning process. Therefore, students' ability to cope with pressure, meet academic demands, overcome difficulties, and adapt to challenges is essential for supporting optimal academic achievement. This systematic review investigates the role of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in enhancing academic resilience by strengthening self-efficacy, addressing socio-economic stressors, and mitigating mental health challenges. Following PRISMA guidelines, the review analyzes 20 peer-reviewed articles published between 2022 and 2024. Data were sourced from PubMed, Scopus, and Web of Science using relevant search terms such as “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,” “academic resilience,” and “mental health.” CBT has been proven effective in enhancing academic resilience by strengthening coping strategies, improving self-efficacy, and addressing socio-economic and mental health challenges. Its adaptability across diverse cultural contexts and high- pressure fields further reinforces its relevance. By equipping students with psychological skills to manage stress and recover from setbacks, CBT contributes to long-term academic success. Future study should focus on developing culturally responsive CBT programs and conducting longitudinal studies to assess its long-term impact on student success. In the context of guidance and counseling, school counselors can integrate CBT techniques into their services to help students overcome feelings of inadequacy, develop a growth mindset, and manage negative emotions that may affect their academic performance

Data theft and the law on protection of personal data: A thematic analysis
Introduction to the Problem: Data theft and leakage have severe consequences and can harm individuals, organizations, and society. Such problems also frequently occur in Indonesia massively.
Purpose/Study Objectives: This study aims to analyze the efficacy of legal measures, particularly Law Number 27 of 2022, in addressing these issues and explores challenges hindering effective enforcement.
Design/Methodology/Approach: This study employs a qualitative approach, specifically thematic analysis, to examine the legal landscape of personal data protection in Indonesia, utilizing Law Number 27 of 2022 as the primary document for analysis. The data was then transferred to Nvivo 12 Plus for coding, classification, and coding based on units of analysis, including theme identification and text search to find words, phrases, or text patterns.
Findings: The study reveals that substantial steps, including the enactment of the Personal Data Protection law, have been taken to address data theft in Indonesia. The law establishes criminal consequences, encompassing imprisonment, fines, restitution, or a combination thereof. However, despite these measures, challenges persist, including limited law enforcement capacity, insufficient awareness of data protection, constrained inter-agency cooperation, and the swift pace of technological advancements. Furthermore, issues such as limited digital evidence, sluggish legal processes, low reporting rates, ineffective penalties, and difficulties in enforcing laws in cyberspace compound the challenges faced by law enforcement in Indonesia.
