    Comparative Evaluation of Feature Selection Methods for Heart Disease Classification with Support Vector Machine

    The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of a variety of feature selection techniques to enhance the performance of Support Vector Machine (SVM) models for classifying heart disease data, particularly in the context of big data. The main challenge lies in managing large datasets, which necessitates the application of feature selection techniques to streamline the analysis process. Therefore, several feature selection methods, including Logistic Regression-Recursive Feature Elimination (LR-RFE), Logistic RegressionSequential Forward Selection (LR-SFS), Correlation-based Feature Selection (CFS), and Variance Threshold were explored to identify the most efficient approach. Based on existing research, these methods have shown a great impact in improving classification accuracy. In this study, it was found that combining the SVM model with LR-RFE, LR-SFS, and Variance Threshold resulted in superior evaluation, achieving the highest accuracy of 89%. Based on the comparison of other evaluation results, including precision, recall, and F1-score, the performance of these models varied depending on the feature selection method chosen and the distribution of data used for training and testing. But in general, LR-RFE-SVM and Variance Threshold-SVM tend to provide better evaluation values than LR-SFS-SVM and SVM-CFS. Based on the computation time, SVM classification with the Variance Threshold method as the feature selection method obtained the fastest time of 118.1540 seconds with the number and retention of 23 important features. Therefore, it is very important to choose a suitable feature selection technique, taking into account the number of retained features and the computation time. This research underscores the significance of feature selection in addressing big data challenges, particularly in heart disease classification. In addition, this study also highlights practical implications for healthcare practitioners and researchers by recommending methods that can be integrated into real-world healthcare settings or existing clinical decision support systems

    Control and Navigation of Differential Drive Mobile Robot with PID and Hector SLAM: Simulation and Implementation

    Navigation technology is essential in fields like transportation and logistics, where precise mapping and localization are critical. Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) technologies, such as Hector SLAM, enable robots to map environments by detecting and predicting object locations using sensors like LiDAR. Unlike other SLAM methods, Hector SLAM operates without odometry, relying solely on LiDAR data to produce accurate maps. This study investigates the application of Hector SLAM in a differential drive mobile robot controlled via the Robot Operating System (ROS), with PID control managing the motor speeds. The research contribution is the integration of Hector SLAM with PID control to enhance mapping accuracy in environments without odometry data. The method involves testing the robot's mapping performance in an indoor environment, focusing on the impact of varying linear and angular velocities on the quality of the generated maps. The PID control was tuned to ensure stable speed values for the robot's differential drive motors. Results show that Hector SLAM, when combined with well-tuned PID control, generates highly accurate maps that closely match the actual environment dimensions, with minimal errors. Specifically, the mapping error was found to be within 0.10 meters, validating the effectiveness of this approach in non-odometric systems. In conclusion, the study demonstrates that Hector SLAM, supported by PID-controlled motor stability, is an effective solution for mapping in differential drive mobile robots, particularly in scenarios where odometry is unavailable

    Optimizing Disaster Response: A Systematic Review of Time-Dependent Cumulative Vehicle Routing in Humanitarian Logistics

    Effective delivery of aid during disasters is crucial for mitigating impacts and ensuring well-being. A major challenge in humanitarian logistics is optimizing vehicle routing to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times. which included 50 studies published between 2012 and 2022. We used the prism method to guide the process of choosing a study, which started from 200 Abstract which is identified and ends with 50 appropriate studies for in -depth analysis. This systematic literature review (SLR) examines the Time-Dependent Cumulative Vehicle Routing Problem (TDCVRP) in humanitarian logistics, identifying VRP variants, their applications, and effectiveness in disaster scenarios. Using a comprehensive search and PRISMA guidelines, the review highlights the importance of optimization models and advanced algorithms. Applications include aid delivery, evacuation management, and facility location optimization, though challenges like computational complexity and reliance on real-time data persist. The review identifies research gaps and suggests future research should focus on integrating advanced methods and improving practical applicability in disaster responses

    Standardization is the method of identifying properties based totally on superb parameters to advantage the identical diploma of satisfaction. it has been proven that vitamins decided in snakehead fish (Channa striata) from herbal assets can be implemented as a possibility to hasten the recuperation of wounds. With the assistance of the techniques of freeze drying, this examination sought to set up the standardization of snakehead fish pay attention from Sungai Itik Village in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan as an uncooked material for prescribed drugs that treat wounds. Standardization carried out on concentrate samples consisted of specific and non-specific parameters. Specific parameters consist of organoleptic, water-soluble essence content, protein, and albumin. While the non-specific parameters tested were moisture content, ash content, acid-insoluble ash content, and drying shrinkage. The test results showed that the water content contained in snakehead fish was 7.21% ± 0.165, ash content was 10.47% ± 1.06, acid insoluble ash content was 1.40% ± 0.115, water-soluble essence content was 77.10% ± 0.54, dry shrinkage rate was 13.973% ± 0.193, the protein was 99.49% and albumin was 7.03 g/dl. The standardization parameters have not met all the tests so it can be said that snakehead fish concentrate has not met the standard and has not been standardized for natural wound healing medicinal ingredients

    The problem found was that students did not understand the role of local wisdom values in the Rateeb Meuseukat Dance. In fact, in the implementation of the knowledge transfer process in Rateeb Meuseukat dance learning carried out by lecturers to students, the local wisdom values contained in the Rateeb Meuseukat dance are very important to convey to students who will later use them in everyday life with the community to develop character. who loves his own culture in the  elementary school teacher education department of Syiah Kuala University. The aim of this research is to foster the role of local wisdom values in Rateeb Meuseukat dance learning and Islamic character education in students through instilling dance values. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques use data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this research were that students in the  elementary school teacher education department of Syiah Kuala University, through the role of local wisdom values in learning the Rateeb Meuseukat Dance, directly found that students in the  elementary school teacher education department of Syiah Kuala University were able to dance the Rateb Meuseukat Dance and the role of the wisdom values of the Rateeb Meuseukat Dance, namely Aqidah values. worship, moral values) and muamalah values can be incorporated into the dance learning process so as to foster Islamic character education in students which will be carried into everyday life with society. The conclusion from the research results is that the role of local wisdom values through learning the Rateeb meuseukat dance increases students' understanding and knowledge of Aqidah values (worship values, moral values) and muamalah values thereby fostering character education in everyday life with the community

    Exploration of Adolescent Resilience in The Slopes of Mount Merapi

    This study aims to determine the level of resilience based on ethnicity and family conditions. The respondents were students from various levels of education from vocational high school, high school and junior high school education levels in the Mount Merapi slope area. The instrument used is the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC) Short version-10 items that have been adapted with a reliability value of 0.801. The data analysis used was Kruskal Wallis non-parametric statistics as a test of tribal differences and family conditions. The results showed that there were no significant differences based on ethnicity and family conditions. The results of this study can be considered in designing guidance and counseling programs and services

    This study aims to produce a product in the form of biological teaching materials integrated with the values of the Qur'an and As-Sunnah that are valid and effective in improving cognitive, psychomotor learning outcomes as well as in developing the values of faith and piety in students. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, learning outcomes tests, and questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique used descriptive and inferential analysis. The study results showed the developed teaching materials met the statistically valid category based on the assessment of the expert in teaching-learning, material, Islamic religious education and teachers as validators, as well as it received an extremely satisfactory response from students. Teaching materials are very effective in improving learning outcomes in term of cognitive and psychomotor, and developing the values of students' faith and piet

    Pembelajaran matematika di sekolah sering dianggap sulit oleh siswa karena cenderung formal dan teoritis. Untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan dan kesenangan siswa, perlu dirancang agar terdapat keterkaitan antara matematika di sekolah dan di luar sekolah. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan adalah pendekatan etnomatematika, khususnya melalui penerapan permainan tradisional seperti gedrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas matematika yang terdapat pada permainan tradisional gedrik dan unsur-unsur matematika yang muncul dalam permainan tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah etnografi dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melibatkan anak-anak yang memahami permainan tradisional gedrik di Desa Jabon sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik triangulasi, yaitu dengan membandingkan dan menyelaraskan data yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya aktivitas matematika seperti membilang, menentukan lokasi, mengukur, merancang, bermain, dan menjelaskan dalam permainan gedrik. Unsur-unsur matematika yang terdapat meliputi bangun dimensi tiga, bangun datar, luas bangun datar, kekongruenan, refleksi, hubungan antar garis, himpunan, permutasi, dan probabilitas. Integrasi permainan tradisional gedrik dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep matematika dengan cara yang menyenangkan melalui permainan, dimana konsep-konsep matematika dapat ditemui pada alat, bidang, dan aturan dalam permainan tradisional gedri

    Perkembangan zaman memberikan perubahan dalam dunia pendidikan. Pendidikan merupakan hal mendasar yang dibutuhkan oleh manusia untuk menuju peradaban yang lebih baik. Sebagaimana tujuan pendidikan di Indonesia yang ingin membentuk watak peradaban bangsa. Pembelajaran menjadi salah satu faktor penentu dalam tercapainya tujuan pendidikan. Proses interaksi antara pendidik, siswa, dan lingkungan belajar dapat menjadi faktor berkembangnya kemampuan siswa. Kemampuan yang ingin dikembangkan dalam dunia pendidikan adalah kemampuan kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Salah satu bentuk kemampuan koginitif adalah kemampuan berpikir. Kemampuan berpikir adalah kemampuan dalam mendalami sesuatu dan menyelesaikan permasalahan. Telah banyak dilakukan penelitian tentang kemampuan berpikir, salah satunya adalah Gaya Berpikir Gregorc. Gaya berpikir adalah kemampuan seseorang dalam menerima, menyerap, dan memproses informasi. Gregorc menglasifikasikan gaya berpikir menjadi empat jenis, yaitu Gaya Berpikir Sekuensional Konkret (SK), Sekuensional Abstrak (SA), Acak Abstrak (AA), dan Acak Konkret (AK). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Kelas VIII Reguler Madrasah Mu’allimin dengan jumlah 240 siswa. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memberikan angket gaya berpikir milik John Parks Le Tiller yang terdapat 15 kelompok kata untuk dipilih satu kata di setiap kelompoknya. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, gaya berpikir siswa Kelas VIII Reguler Madrasah Mua’llimin didominasi oleh Gaya Berpikir Acak Abstrak (AA) dengan persentase 32, 92 %. Sedangkan setiap kelas memiliki gaya berpikir berbeda-beda, meskipun didominasi Gaya Berpikir Acak Abstrak (AA). Kelas A didominasi Gaya Berpikir Sekuensional Konkret (SK), Kelas C didominasi Gaya Berpikir Acak Konkret (AK), dan Kelas G didominasi Gaya Berpikir Sekuenional Abstrak (SA). Sedangkan Kelas B, Kelas D, Kelas E, Kelas F, dan Kelas H didominasi Gaya Berpikir Acak Abstrak (AA)

    PENGEMBANGAN LEMBAR KERJA SISWA BERBASIS MEANS-ENDS ANALYSIS (MEA) PADA MATERI PERSAMAAN GARIS LURUS KELAS 8 SMP

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan dan hasil dari LKS berbasis Means-Ends Analysis (MEA) pada materi persamaan garis lurus kelas 8 SMP yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Lembar kerja siswa ini dirancang dengan Canva dan memanfaatkan fitur liveworksheets dan diujicobakan pada siswa kelas 8 SMP Negeri 4 Jember. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam pengembangan LKS ini adalah Model Four D. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai validasi LKS yang memenuhi kriteria cukup valid (2,9 dari 3) berdasarkan validator. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru LKS ini dikatakan praktis karena memperoleh kesimpulan yang sangat baik berupa komentar, kritik dan saran. LKS ini dikategorikan efektif berdasarkan hasil tes siswa yang terdapat pada langkah akhir LKS berbasis MEA keseluruhan siswa dinyatakan tuntas secara klasikal dengan persentase >=75% dengan nilai terendah 75 dan nilai tertinggi 100, observasi aktivitas siswa sebesar  97,91% menunjukkan kriteria siswa sangat aktif dan hasil respon siswa sebesar 100% menunjukkan respon siswa positif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini sejalan dengan penelitan yang dilakukan oleh Aisyah (2018) yang menunjukkan hasil bahwa LKS berbasis MEA dengan strategi process log untuk meningkatkan komunikasi matematis siswa yang menggunakan pengembangan model Plomp, menghasilkan produk yang valid, praktis, efektif serta layak untuk digunakan
