    The Relationship between Self-Efficacy and Family Social Support with the Psychological Well-Being of High School Students

    The psychological well-being felt by teenagers makes teenagers have more positive emotions within themselves and can foster a sense of life satisfaction and happiness, thereby reducing negative behavior and reducing feelings of depression.  This research aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and family social support on students' psychological well-being.  This research is correlational research.  The sample of this research consisted of 252 students.  The research results show that self-efficacy and family social support simultaneously (together) have a significant relationship with students' psychological well-being.  This finding was obtained based on a series of data analyzes that there is a strong relationship between self-efficacy and family social support on psychological well-being of 56.3%, then the variables of self-efficacy and family social support can explain students' psychological well-being of 31.7%

    Psychoeducation Using Symbol Modeling Techniques for Enhancing the Subjective Well-Being of Long-Distance Marriage Couples

    Long-distance married couples tend to experience anxiety, stress, unhappiness, delayed problem resolution, difficulty finding time together, and feelings of helplessness without their partner. However, previous psycho-educational interventions have not utilized JP-]symbolic modeling techniques and have not specifically focused on long-distance marriages. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of psycho-education using symbolic modeling techniques in enhancing the subjective well-being of long-distance married couples. An experimental matching control study design was used with 16 participants, divided into 8 in the experimental group and 8 in the control group. The subjective well-being scale was used as the instrument for data collection. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon signed Rank Test and the Mann-Whitney U Test. The results of the study show that psycho-education using symbolic modeling techniques is effective in enhancing the subjective well-being of long-distance married couples. Psycho-educational interventions with symbolic modeling can be used to help long-distance married couples achieve wellbeing, making their marriages more meaningful

    Reframing Hope: The Process of Adapting Mothers to Children with Down Syndrome after Receiving a Diagnosis

    This study aims to explore the experiences of mothers adapting after receiving a Down Syndrome (DS) diagnosis for their child. Utilizing a Heideggerian phenomenological approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with 10 mothers of children with DS, focusing on their emotional responses, acceptance, and hopes. The analysis identified three main themes: initial reactions to the diagnosis and the resulting loss of hope, the process of acceptance, and managing hopes while adapting to the child's condition. The findings reveal the complex journey mothers undergo in restructuring their emotions and thoughts, underscoring the importance of diagnostic confirmation, social support, and spiritual beliefs in the acceptance process. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of mothers’ experiences following a DS diagnosis and offers insights for health professionals and support systems to better assist families during this critical period. The theme of “reframing hopes” emerged as central, facilitating mothers’ ability to adjust and maintain hope for their children’s futures

    Implementation of Branch and Bound Algorithm and Variable Reduction Algorithm in Production Profit Optimization

    Linear Programming (LP) cannot answer production problems that require decision variables to be integers. For this reason, Integer Linear Programming (ILP) exists as a special case of LP where the decision variables are integers. This research is intended to determine the difference in output values and the number of iterations used in the Branch and Bound Algorithm and Variable Reduction to solve the problem of maximizing production profits. The Branch and Bound algorithm divides the problem into sub-problems that lead to a solution by forming a search tree structure and applying restrictions to achieve an optimal solution. Meanwhile, the Variable Reduction Algorithm involves moving the decision variables from the left side to the right side of the constraint function. This study uses data from the Rembang Dairy Industry, with the problem of wanting to maximize production profits. Using Maple's assistance, the settlement using the Branch and Bound Algorithm and Variable Reduction yields the same profit, which is IDR 14,786,548. However, the calculation process using the Variable Reduction Algorithm requires more iterations than the Branch and Bound Algorithm

    Medication-related burden of chronic renal failure patients at regional general hospital Sleman Yogyakarta

    Patients with chronic renal failure must undergo lifelong treatment. The condition raises treatment-related responsibilities and may affect their treatment adhesion. The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between the burden of medication and the level of medication adherence among chronic kidney failure patients at Sleman Regional Hospital in Yogyakarta. This study took the form of observational study with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected using LMQ (Living with Medicine Questionnaire) and Visual Analog Sacle (VAS) overall burden to determine the burden and MARS (Medication Adherence Rating Scale) to determine medication adherence level. The samples in this study were 60 patients from all patients  undergoing hemodialysis who met the inclusion criteria. Sampling was taken using a consecutive sampling technique with inclusion criteria of patients willing to complete the questionnaire and patients diagnosed with chronic renal  failure aged more than 18 years. To determine the relationship between medication burden and medication adherence, data was examined using the Spearman test.  The results of this study showed that 40 patients (66.7%) had moderate medication burden and 50 patients (83%) had moderate medication adherence. There was a significant correlation between the LMQ score and MARS (correlation-coefficient = 0.581, p=0.000) and a significant correlation between the VAS score and MARS (correlation-coefficient= 0.651, p=0.000). Thus, it can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between treatment burden and the level of treatment compliance, where the higher the burden, the higher the level of compliance in chronic kidney failure patients

    Controlled release kinetics of furosemide from chitosan matrix tablets with hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate coated

    Sustained-release dosage forms were critical in drug delivery, ensuring controlled and prolonged release for optimal therapeutic outcomes. Chitosan (CH) has become pivotal in sustained-release tablet formulation due to its biocompatibility and mucoadhesive properties. This study aims to explore the release kinetics of furosemide (FS) from CH matrix tablets in a concurrent medium. The formulation involves a core tablet and coated tablet, with CH matrix as a binder and Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose Phthalate (HPMCP) as a film-coated for the core tablet, and both are made using the wet granulation method. Assessment parameters include tablet hardness, disintegration, and FS release profiles across various media, analyzed using spectrophotometric methods to comprehend drug release kinetics with multiple models such as zero-order, first-order, Higuchi, and Korsmeyer-Peppas employed. In the press-coated tablet comprising core tablet CH as matrix uncoated with 20 mg CH per tablet core, a zero-order release pattern emerged in the pH 1.2 medium within 0-2 h, which displayed first-order release kinetics within 2-6 h and 6-16 h in concurrent media of pH 5.8 and 7.4. Notably, a zero-order release pattern emerged in the pH 1.2 medium within 0-2 h. Press-coated tablets incorporating CH matrix with HPCMP coated (CH-HPCMP), also containing 20 mg CH per tablet, exhibited diverse drug release kinetics. These tablets showed Korsmeyer-Peppas, zero-order, and first-order kinetics in pH 1.2, 5.8, and 7.4, respectively. The study suggests that a Press-coated tablet incorporating CH-HPMCP is suitable as the candidate for sustained-release formulations. The observed versatility in release kinetics across varying pH environments underscores the potential adaptability of these formulations in addressing diverse therapeutic needs

    Evaluasi keberhasilan penyelenggara program studi di perguruan tinggi merupakan aktivitas yang sering dilakukan oleh Fakultas Y Universitas X. Fakultas melakukan evaluasi dengan bentuk evaluasi studi terhadap mahasiswa. Namun selama adanya proses evaluasi studi tersebut, jumlah kelulusan mahasiswa Fakultas Y setiap tahunnya masih di bawah 50%, sehingga perlu dilakukan identifikasi penyebab mahasiswa tidak lulus tepat waktu. Identifikasi tersebut dilakukan dengan pencarian hubungan antara data mahasiswa sebelum masuk kuliah dan data kelulusan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis pola asosiasi antara data masuk kuliah dengan data kelulusan mahasiswa Fakultas Y tahun 2014-2015 dengan data kelulusan mahasiswa tahun 2018-2019. Penelitian ini memperoleh pola asosiasi yaitu pada dataset prodi U. Tahapan penelitian meliputi seleksi data, pembersihan data, transformasi data, penerapan metode apriori dan pengujian menggunakan lift rasio. Penelitian ini menghasilkan pola asosiasi data masuk kuliah dengan data kelulusan yang dapat dijadikan rekomendasi prodi U. Data masuk yang saling berelasi dengan data kelulusan lama studi diantaranya adalah nilai rata-rata mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, nilai rata-rata kimia, nilai computer range, nilai rata-rata fisika dibawah 50 dan nilai rata-rata matematika range 50-<60. Sedangkan datamasuk yang saling berelasi data kelulusan nilai IPK diantaranya nilai rata-rata elektronika, nilai rata-rata computer dibawah 50 dan berasal dari SMA. Dengan nilai lift yang dihasilkan yaitu rata-rata 1,01-2,20 yang artinya berkorelasi positif

    Perancangan User Experience dan User Interface pada Aplikasi Ruly untuk Mewadahi Korban Sexual Harassment Menggunakan Pendekatan Design Thinking

    Kekerasan seksual memiliki dampak serius pada korban, termasuk dampak psikis, ekonomi, dan kesehatan. Penelitian ini melibatkan 16 mahasiswa yang mengungkapkan bahwa satu di antaranya pernah menjadi korban kekerasan seksual namun tidak melakukan upaya penangan lanjut. Temuan ini diperkuat oleh survei Komnas Perempuan tahun 2016 yang melibatkan 25.213 responden daring, di mana 1.636 responden mengaku mengalami kekerasan seksual, namun sebagian besar tidak melaporkan karena takut. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penggunaan aplikasi Ruly yang mengintegrasi Chatbot dengan teori Cognitive Behavioral Therapy sebagai solusi untuk korban kekerasan seksual. Pendekatan design thinking digunakan dalam perancangan User Experience & User Interface dengan lima tahapan: empati, definisi, ideasi, prototipe, dan pengujian. Dalam tahap pengujian, penelitian menerapkan Usability Testing dengan variabel seperti learnability, efisiensi, daya ingat, kesalahan, dan kepuasan. Hasil pengujian dengan dua iterasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, dengan nilai rata-rata Usability Testing meningkat dari 70,37 menjadi 85,53. Hal ini menyiratkan bahwa aplikasi Ruly memudahkan pengguna dan mendapat penilaian sangat baik setelah dua kali pengujian

    Movie Recommender System Using Cascade Hybrid Filtering with Convolutional Neural Network

    The current technological advancements have made it easier to watch movies, especially through online streaming platforms such as Netflix. Social media platforms like Twitter are used to discuss, share information, and recommend movies to other users through tweets. The user tweets from Twitter are utilized as a film review dataset. Film ratings can be used to build a recommendation system, incorporating Collaborative Filtering (CF) and Content-based Filtering (CBF). However, both methods have their limitations. Therefore, a hybrid filtering approach is required to overcome this problem. The filtering approach involves CF and CBF processes to improve the accuracy of film recommendations. No current research employs the Cascade Hybrid Filtering method, particularly within the context of movie recommendation systems. This study addresses this gap by implementing the Cascade Hybrid Filtering method, utilizing the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) as the evaluative instrument. This research presents a significant contribution by implementing the Cascade Hybrid Filtering method based on CNN. This research uses several scenarios to compare methods to produce the most accurate model. This study's findings demonstrate that the application of Cascade Hybrid Filtering, incorporating CNN and optimized with RMSProp, yields a movie recommendation system with notable performance metrics, including an MAE of 0.8643, RMSE of 0.6325, and the highest accuracy rate recorded at 86.95%. The RMSprop optimizer, facilitating a learning rate of 6.250551925273976e-06, enhances accuracy to 88.40%, showcasing a remarkable improvement of 6.00% from the baseline. These outcomes underscore the significant contribution of the paper in enhancing the precision and effectiveness of movie recommendation systems
