Hybrid Learning Model Through SIPEJAR Content as Learning Innovation in History Education Research Courses
This research and development aim to generate a hybrid learning model by incorporating SIPEJAR UM content. This collaboration aims to foster innovation and adaptation to the changing times and the digitalization era in education. The hybrid learning model, implemented in the History Education Research course, combines face-to-face and online learning. This approach enables a blended learning process that combines the advantages of both methods. The research method utilized in this research and development study is the Dick and Carey model. The data for this article was gathered through observations, interviews, and questionnaires distribution to students and lecturers. The outcome of this research and development study is a collaborative hybrid learning model that incorporates SIPEJAR UM through the provision of learning content in the History Education Research course
Supervisi Klinis dalam Keterampilan Mengajar Guru Sejarah Berdasarkan Kurikulum Merdeka
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis supervisi klinis dalam keterampilan mengajar guru sejarah berdasarkan kurikulum merdeka di Kabupaten Mandailing Natal, Sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survei dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis jalur untuk menganalisis data. Populasi yang akan diteliti adalah guru sejarah Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS) Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri. Karena keterbatasan penelitian maka pengambilan sampel hanya dilakukan di lima sekolah. Bahwa terdapat hubungan dan pengaruh yang positif antara Kompetensi Pedagogik dengan Supervisi Klinis. Uji hipotesis dalam penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan pengaruh langsung Supervisi Klinis terhadap Kompetensi Pedagogik. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi antara Supervisi Klinis (X1) dengan Kompetensi Pedagogik (X2) diperoleh thitung (r12) sebesar 0,570. Hipotesis yang akan diuji untuk menjelaskan pengaruh supervisi klinis terhadap kompetensi pedagogik: H0: β31 <0, H1: β31> 0, H0 ditolak, jika t hitung > t tabel. Dari perhitungan analisis jalur, pengaruh langsung supervisi klinis dan kompetensi pedagogik memiliki koefisien jalur 0,425 dan t-hitung 4,457. Nilai t-tabel adalah 2,61. Oleh karena t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel, maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima; dengan demikian, supervisi klinis secara langsung mempengaruhi kompetensi pedagogik
INTERNALISASI NILAI KAYUH BAIMBAI DAN HARAM MANYARAH WAJA SAMPAI KAPUTING MELALUI MATERI RESTORASI MEIJI DALAM MATA KULIAH SEJARAH ASIA TIMUR
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan impelementasi pendidikan karakter dalam mata kuliah dengan memanfaatkan penokohan, peristiwa, ataupun kreativitas model dan media yang digunakan oleh pendidik. Proses internaliasi nilai kayuh baimbai dan haram manyarah waja sampai kaputing dilaksanakan secara terintegrasi dalam mata kuliah Sejarah Asia Timur terkhusus dalam materi Sejarah Jepang melalui 3 (tiga) tahapan, yakni tahapan persiapan, tahapan proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model VCT (Value Clarification Technique), dan tahapan evaluasi yang melalui dua tahapan yakni tahapan penilaian sikap dan tahapan penilaian secara menyuruh menyangkut aspek pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa internalisasi nilai lokal Kalimantan Selatan dalam Mata Kuliah Sejarah Asia Timur pada materi Restorasi Meiji dapat diimplementasi dalam 7 materi pembahasan
Traces of the Heritage of Rantauprapat Kingdom (Oral History Review)
The Kingdom of Rantauprapat was a small kingdom that initially emerged in the upper reaches of the Bilah River. This research focuses on reconstructing the history of the Rantauprapat Kingdom through the utilization of historical relics found and historical research methods, as well as oral history methods. In particular literature, the starting point of the Rantauprapat kingdom is referred to as Poeldung. It is estimated that this kingdom existed from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, and it is known that the founder, named Patuan Bolatan, originated from Toba and was laid to rest behind the Sioldengan Village Castle housing. The existence of this kingdom became more evident during the reign of Patuan Bolatan's son, King Muda, around the mid-19th century. This was marked by the construction of the Palace in Sibuaya, formerly known as "Lobu in Bendahara Street," which has left a legacy as an ancient tomb complex. The Pahlawan Kerja Train Monument Pekanbaru Correlates with Indonesian History Learning Materials In Grade XI In High School
This article aims to correlate historical heritage objects in Pekanbaru, namely The Pahlawan Kerja Train Monument related to Indonesian history learning materials in grade XI high school. The method used in this study is a qualitative method of observing, interviewing, and studying documentation. This research used the analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model, that is: Data Collection; Data Reduction; Data Display; and Conclusions. The results of this study found the fact that Monumen Kereta Api Pahlawan Kerja was built to honor the victims of the romusha atrocities during the Japanese occupation. The construction of the railroad with the Muaro Sijunjung-Pekanbaru route has claimed the lives of 300,000 people. Some relics can still be seen to this day are locomotives and train carriages along with a train track that still maintains its authenticity. This historical object deserves to be a source of learning because it meets the eight ideal criteria to be achieved in history learning
Traces of Social History in Batu Bara Songket Traditional Crafts in Batubara Regency, North Sumatra Province
This study aims to describe the traces of social history in the traditional craft of Batubara songket in Batubara Regency. Songket Batu Bara woven fabric continues to evolve with the times, songket has even become a popular choice for traditional Malay wedding attire, especially in Batu Bara regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection was carried out by observation, document analysis, interviews, and literature studies. Qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques were used in this study. The results of this study indicate that the Batu Bara Malay songket woven fabric is a traditional woven fabric that has become a cultural heritage for the Batu Bara people. Batu Bara Malay Songket was already known during the reign of the Batu Bara Sultanate. The functions of the Malay Batu Bara woven songket include, as a reinforcement of identity, an expression of love, to maintaining the continuity and stability of Malay culture, when someone wears a Malay songket, they are already carrying out the function of the Malay songket woven fabric and also developing culture
Strengthening the Content of Local History in Social Studies
This study aims to analyze the importance of incorporating local content in teaching materials and provide relevant examples. A comprehensive analysis of the existing literature was conducted to describe the research findings. The study results depict the content related to the lives of Indonesian people during the Islamic period, addressing essential competencies. The findings also highlight the necessity for additional material descriptions and examples derived from local and regional history. Social studies learning can be further developed by reinforcing social studies teaching materials with local content. Therefore, local historical sources from Banjar are incorporated into social studies learning materials used in the classroom. These include the establishment of the Banjar Sultanate, the kings of Banjar, and the development of Banjar culture. The selection of the Banjar Sultanate as local content is based on its alignment with the periodization in Indonesian history
Development of Pandeglang Local History Teaching Media in Increasing High School Students' Historical Awareness
The development of technology-based teaching media in history aims to improve the quality of education by utilizing technology and enhancing historical awareness. The utilization of the Pandeglang Local History learning media holds excellent appeal for incorporating local history into the learning process. The innovative use of the Local History application further elucidates how technology can enhance historical awareness in the context of local history education. This study aims to develop teaching media based on local content to enhance students' historical awareness through technological advancements. The research approach employed in this study is Research and Development (R&D), explicitly using the 4D research development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results demonstrated that using local history teaching media, as assessed through the Likert scale validation test, increased high school students' historical awareness. These findings are based on the results of the validation test, which included the design validation test of the Local History application, revealing a score of 100. Subsequently, the application teaching media test yielded a score of 100. Finally, the effectiveness of the Local History application was evaluated, resulting in a score of 100, demonstrating the success of the application's developmen
Sultan, Plantations, and Islam: Dynamics of Social-Political Life in East Sumatra (1900-1942)
This research explores the dynamics of social and political life in East Sumatra from 1900 to 1942, focusing on the role of the Sultan, plantations, and Islam. The research employed historical research methods in four steps: heuristic, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data were collected from relevant archives, books, articles, and reports on the research topic. The research is grounded in three hypotheses: 1) the Sultan and local elites played a significant role in the development of plantations in East Sumatra; 2) Islam served as a crucial factor in shaping political and social identities in East Sumatra; and 3) conflicts of interest between local elites and the colonial government influenced the dynamics of social and political life in East Sumatra during the studied period
The Architectural Style of Masjid Agung At-Taqwa, Kutacane, Southeast Aceh (2016-2023)
This article aims to discuss the architectural style of the At-Taqwa Great Mosque in Kutacane, Southeast Aceh, during the period of 2016 to 2023. The study follows a qualitative research design with a descriptive approach. The research method used in this study is historical research. Data collection was conducted through interviews and observations. The results indicate that Islamic architecture is a captivating style that exemplifies the beauty of each building. Each detail contains a symbolic element with a significant meaning. An architectural work takes the form of a building, commonly referred to as a cultural symbol and also considered a work of art. Likewise, the architectural works within the At-Taqwa Great Mosque building combine styles from various local and international influences, resulting in a stunning work of art
