    Background: Indonesia has long recognized and uses traditional medicine as an effort in tackling health problems. Person's behavior in decision-making related to knowledge and attitude of a person in seeing a problem. The interviews found 30% of the population still believes in traditional medicine than medical treatment for about public trust traditional medicine, get counseling about medical treatment and health service facilities are difficult to reach. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of knowledge, attitudes, behavior family heads with the traditional treatment decision-making in the village of Central Rambah Hilir, Rokan Hulu, Riau. Methods: This study was observational analytic research with cross sectional design. Population studies of the head of the family who are living in the village of Lower Central District Rambah Rokan Hulu in Riau. Sampling technique it was by random sampling to multistage sampling approach. Samples obtained as many as 86 people. Descriptive data analyzed using frequency distribution tables and analytically to determine the relationship between two variables with chi-square. Results: Result of research indicate that there was relation having a meaning amongh knowledge household with the decision making of traditional medicine equal to p=0,003. There was relation between of among attitude household and with the decision making of traditional medicine equal to p=0,000. There is relation having a meaning of among behavior household with occurrence of the decision making of traditional medicine equal to p=0,000. Conclusion: All accurate free variables there was relation between knowledge, attitudes, behavior and decision making of traditional medicine.     Background: Standart evaluation and quality control exlpain that nursery services guarantee a high quality of nursing by involving themselves into quality control in the hospital. Job satisfaction must be created goodly, in order to job morality, disciplined, dedication and job performance can be increased. The employee can work produce or not was depent on motivation, job satisfaction, the level of stress, phisicly condition of job, salary, project of work, aspeck of economy and technics. The aim of this reseach was to know correlation job satisfaction and job performance. Methods: The study was analytic quantitative with cross sectional method. Data were analyzed quantitatively with Product Moment correlation analyze. The population was all of nurse (110 persons) in the nursery room services at the Klaten Islamic Hospital. The tool of the study was questionaire toward 52 respondents. Sample taken by proportional random sampling. Result: The result of the study showed that job satisfaction of nurses was on the moderate level reached (63,5%). Job performance of nurses was on the good level reache (78,8%). There were positive correlation between job satisfaction and job performance, with correlation coefficien r = 0,393 (on the low level); with p=0,004. Conclusion: There were positive correlation between job satisfaction and job performance of nurses. Key words: Job satisfaction, job performance, nurse

    PENGARUH PROMOSI KESEHATAN METODE AUDIO VISUAL DAN METODE BUKU SAKU TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN PENGGUNAAN MONOSODIUM GLUTAMAT (MSG) PADA IBU RUMAH TANGGA

    ABSTRAKLatar Belakang : Monosodium Glutamat (MSG) banyak dipakai untuk keperluan rumah tangga maupun industri makanan dan diperjualbelikan secara bebas. MSG biasa digunakan sebagai penyedap makanan. Mengkonsumsi MSG secara berlebihan dapat meningkatkan risiko berbagai penyakit dan juga dapat mempengaruhi kecerdasan. Salah satu cara untuk mengendalikan penggunaan MSG dalam pangan olahan sesuai dengan batasan maksimum perharinya, agar penggunaan penyedap tidak melebihi dosisnya dan aman dalam penggunaannya bagi masyarakat maka dilakukan promosi kesehatan dengan tujuan untuk menyampaikan dan menyebarkan informasi kesehatan yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penggunaan MSG.Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experimental dengan rancangan penelitian one-group pretest-postest design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah ibu rumah tangga yang berjumlah 60 orang.Hasil Penelitian : Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh promosi kesehatan baik metode audio visual dengan p = 0,00, maupun metode buku saku dengan p = 0,00, terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan penggunaan MSG. Tidak terdapat perbedaan rerata antara kelompok perlakuan metode audio visual dan kelompok perlakuan metode buku saku dengan p = 0,817.Kesimpulan : Ada pengaruh promosi kesehatan metode audio visual dan promosi kesehatan metode buku saku terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan penggunaan MSG. Tidak terdapat perbedaan rerata antara kelompok promosi kesehatan metode audio visual dan kelompok promosi kesehatan metode buku saku. Kata Kunci : Promosi Kesehatan, Audio Visual, Buku Saku, Pengetahuan Penggunaan MSG, Ibu Rumah Tangga.  ABSTRACTBackground: Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) was mainly consumed for household and food industry and it was freely sold. MSG has been long known by housewife because it is usually used as food flavoring. Overconsumption of MSG can cause several diseases, for example it can affect intelligence. One of the ways in controlling the application of MSG in food production with the maximum-application degree per day, so that there is no overconsumption of MSG, is to perform health promotion on the purpose of conveying and spreading information about health that it could improve people’s knowledge about MSG application.Methods: This was a quasi experimental study with one-group pretest-posttest design. There were 60 housewives as the respondent of this study. Results: The result of bi-variant analysis indicated that there was effect of health promotion both via audio visual method with p = 0.00, and pocket book with p = 0, 00, on the improvement of knowledge about MSG application. There was no different means between the audio-visual treatment group and the pocket book treatment group with p = 0.817.Conclusion : There was effect of health promotion both with audio-visual method and pocket book method on the improvement of knowledge about MSG application.     Background: Gedongkiwo Village is one of the villages that was ranked first for the highestnumber of dengue disease in the year 2010. Many years in the urban village health centerssupported Gedongkiwo local government has sought to control the vector mosquito Ae.aegyptiL, but such efforts until now have not shown significant results. Outreach efforts and thepromotion of public health for more attention to hygiene and environmental health are also ableto reduce the incidence of DHF has not been clearly defined. On the other hand, anotherproblem arises, namely the occurrence of resistance in mosquitoes Ae.aegypti L. of thepesticide compound that is used for eradication. The purpose of this study was to Knowing thepopulation of mosquito species Ae. Aegypti L. If visits by the House Index (HI), Container Index(CI) and Bretaeau Index (BI) in the Village District Gedongkiwo Mantrijeron Yogyakarta SpecialProvince of Yogyakarta.Methods: This was qualitative descriptive research. Samples in this study were 100 houses ineach RW 02, 06 and 09 in the Village Gedongkiwo. Data obtained by the survey to eachhousehold to determine HI, CI, and BI by filling out a check list sheet. Data analysis of theresults of research carried out in accordance with two criteria: If HI> 10% category of "high risk",HI <10% criterion "low risk"; if CI> 10% category of "high risk" and CI <10% category of "low risk"; if BI> 50% category of" high risk "and BI <50% category of" low risk ".Results: This study showed that the average value House Index (HI) in the Village Gedongkiwoof 38.67 percent and the average value of Container Index (CI) of 13.41 percent. As for theaverage value of Breateu Index (BI) is equal to 19.67 percent.Conclusion: Based on the House Index (HI) and the Container Index (CI) population ofmosquitoes Ae. aegypti L. already exceeded the safe limit the spread of dengue disease.     Background: The growth and developed hospital should be effectively and efficiency managed. This fact should be carried out in order to face strict competitions in the health world. The hospital can survive in facing the existing competitions by counting the previous hospital fee and using fee account model competitively. In PKU Muhammadiyah Unit I Yogyakarta, Set of Essential Services (SES) of caesarea operation fee, class III, and cost sharing between the hospital and the goverment are different. In this study, the researcher only counts caesarea operation fee for re-use in order to create low cost sharing. Up till now, the hospital party never counts those existing differences. This case will lead them to get a financial loss. By having this fact, the researcher was eager to know about cost sharing analysis of caesarea operation fee account, class III, in PKU Muhammadiyah Unit I Yogyakarta.Methode: This was qualitative descriptive research which analyses the exact fee by using real cost method to know the difference of patient?s fee toward the real fee in the hospital. Bisides that, interview method was applied to know the head of finance and Central Surgeon Installation (CSI) workers opinion.Resulth: The result of Set of Essential Services (SES) fee of health insurance? toward caesarea operation was Rp 1.230.429, caesarea operation fee by using real cost method was Rp 3.764.388, in fact, the exact fee from RS PKU Muhammadiyah Unit I Yogyakarta was Rp 4.705.388. In conclusion, the final results were the difference of Set of Essential Services (SES) fee of health insurance between real cost was Rp 2.533.959 and the difference of Set of Essential Services (SES) fee of health insurance? between the exact hospital costs was Rp 3.475.056.Conclusion: The researcher has concluded that set of costs which is based on unit cost was higher that hospital cost recently. The highest cost was given for buying medicines and temporary materials.     Background : Paradigm of a healthy life can be the foundation for better understanding the complexities of public health issues. Four main factors that influence health status of individuals/communities, among other behavioral factors, environmental, health and genetic services. Health factors play a role in this concept is the third largest. Health care institutions are also required to improve quality in providing outstanding service, such as by improving the quality of medical record keeping activities.High and low quality of health services can be seen from the data whether or not complete treatment are listed in the medical record. Medical records are very important in carrying out the quality of medical care. A medical record has seven competencies, one of which is a medical records management unit. Place of registration of patients in Puskesmas Banguntapan II regency there are still many problems. So, it needs planning system in order to improve the quality of health services. The research objective is planning a medical record system based on inputs and processes at patient registration. Methode : This was descriptive research using qualitative method. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation tools while using field notes, check lists, interview guides, tape recorder, and stationery. Analysis of studies using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Result : The results showed that there was many problems in the review of resource inputs (man, money, materials, methods, mechine, and the market) so that it can identify the problem. Based on the identification of the problem it will get priority problems and causes of the problems that arise alternate problem solving. Under an agreement resolving the jury was selected from several alternative settlement of existing problems. The results of selected problem-solving that will be the planning system. Conclusion: there was many problems in the review of resource inputs (man, money, materials, methods, mechine, and the market) and the planning system in particular parts of the registration of medical records of patients can be prepared based on the analysis of the situation.     Background: Service center medical skin is a new service PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta, the necessary research to find out the marketing strategy plan that will be used PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta. The marketing strategies of medical skin care center that will be researched to see of the marketing mix, consisting of product, price, place, promotion, people, processes and Physical evidence, from the marketing mix in the analysis using the SWOT analysis to determine the right strategy. Method: The study was descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were the Director of Medical Services, Marketing Manager, one Marketing staff, dermatologist and six patients. The instrument used a form of interview guidelines and the type of recorder. Data analysis Used SWOT analysis. Results: (1) Aspects of the product; Products used in cooperation with Ristra because Ristra is a product that has been certified legal, so safe to use MUI emergency. (2) Aspects of the price, price is still relatively cheap because they still get the discount. (3) Aspects of the place; PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital in Yogyakarta strategically located alongside the highway easily accessible by any transportation making it easier for patients to come to the skin medical center. (4) Promotion: Promotion is not maximized, not broad market area just around the DIY. (5) People; trained human resources, good, loyal and work according to the procedure, Consumers who feel happy and satisfied with the services provided at the medical center skin. (6) Physical evidence; facilities and infrastructure such as physical buildings, medical equipment provided by hospital and has been standard. (7) Process: The process of medical skin care center for treatment tailored to the criteria that will be used in patient care, marketing process of the skin as support medical center for promotional material.     ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Penerapan sistem informasi merupakan suatu cara untuk menunjang proses pelayanan pasien. SDM memiliki peranan yang penting didalam keberhasilan suatu sistem, disamping itu juga ditunjang dengan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai. RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul sudah menerapkan sistem informasi di dalam proses pelayanan pasien, termasuk di dalam pelayanan pendaftaran pasien rawat jalan. Namun terdapat beberapa kendala didalam penerapannya, diantaranya seperti masalah SDM, sarana dan prasarana, serta laporan yang dihasilkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk Mengevaluasi Penerapan Sistem Informasi Pendaftaran Pasien Rawat jalan di RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu untuk menggambarkan bagaimana penerapan sistem informasi pendaftaran pasien rawat jalan di RSU PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Hasil: RSU PKU Muhammadiyah menggunakan cara komputerisasi dan manual didalam proses pelayanan pendaftaran pasien rawat jalannya. Data yang dibutuhkan yaitu identitas pasien dan poli atau unit yang ingin dituju oleh pasien. Dana yang dibutuhkan berasal dari rumah sakit sendiri, dan tidak memiliki hambatan didalam pendanaan. Pengorganisasian tenaga kerjanya sudah terorganisasi dengan baik. Namun jumlah tenaga kerja yang sangat minim serta sarana komputer yang dianggap masih kurang, membuat tenaga kerja di bagian pendaftaran rawat jalan harus memikul beban kerja yang cukup besar. Hal tersebut mengakibatkan laporan jumlah pasien rawat jalan yang dihasilkan belum bisa dikatakan akurat, tepat waktu, dan relevan. Kesimpulan: SDM dan sarana komputer masih kurang, sehingga menghasilkan informasi yang belum akurat, tepat waktu, dan relevan.  Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, Sistem Informasi di Bagian Pendaftaran Pasien Rawat Jalan, Rumah Sakit  ABSTRACTBackground: The application of information sytem is a way to support the process of patient service. Human resources play the important part to certain the goal of a system, besides, it also must be supported by the enough of facility and infrastructure. PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Bantul have been applying the information system in the process of patient service, including to the outpatient registration service. However, there were some problems in that application, likes the problem of human resource, fasility and infrastructur, and the report. The purpose of this research was to evaluate the application of information system in outpatient registration at PKU Muhammadiyah Haspital of Bantul.Methods: This research was descriptive study employed qualitative approach. The aim of this research was  to describ the application of information system in outpatient registration at PKU Muhammadiyah Haspital of Bantul. Interview, observation, and documentation study were done to collect data.Results: PKU Muhammadiyah Hospital of Bantul have been using the computer and manually to serve the outpatient registration. The data that were needed were the identity of patient, and the polyclinic or unit that the patient wanted to check their health. The source of cost operational was from the estimate of the hostital it’s self, and there was no problem about it. The organizing of staff was be orginized well. But, the number of staff and the computers are was not enough, that was cause the staff in the outpatient registration service got the job more than what they should.     HUBUNGAN KONDISI FISIK RUMAH, SARANA AIR BERSIH DAN KARAKTERISTIK MASYARAKAT DENGAN KEJADIAN KUSTA DI KABUPATEN TAPIN KALIMANTAN SELATAN

    Background: leprosy is a chronic disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium leprae theattacks the peripheral nerves, the skin and other tissue except the central nervous system.Indonesia has third position as great number of cases of leprosy after India and Brazil at years2005 there is 19.695 cases. In years 2007, prevalence of leprosy in Indonesia was 1,05 caseper 10.000 population. The Tapin regency was the leprosy endemic area, when years by yearsnewly detected cases. The aim of this research to determine the relationship of physicalcondition of the house, fresh water instalation and characteristic of community with cases ofleprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo.Method : Analityc observational studies using case-control. The act of determining the casesample is taken by using the totality sample and the act of determining the control sample istaken by using the purposive sample. The case number of 31 people and the control number of62 people.Results: Based on result of bivariate test there are 3 meaningful variables statisticallyrelationship with cases of leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo, i.e phisical home condition(p=0,013), history of contact (p=0,000) and level of education (p=0,002). The variables notrelated with cases of leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo, i.e fresh water instalation(p=0,099), age (p=0,226) and occupation (p=0,559). The result of multivariate test there are 3the most dominant variable within spread of leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo, i.e thehistory of contact (p=0,002), level of education (p=0,006) and phisical home condition (p=0,043).Conclusion: There was significant relation between the phisical home condition, history ofcontact and level of education with cases of leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo. Thehistory of contact, level of education and phisical home condition was the most dominant casesof leprosy in Tapin Regency South Borneo.Keyword: home, water, age, contact, education and occupation
