Multimedia learning modules can be interpreted as a self-learning package which includes a series of learning experiences planned and systematically designed to help learners achieve learning goals that are multimedia based. Purpose he designed a learning module is to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of learning in school, good time, funds, facilities, and personnel in order to achieve the optimal goal. Characteristics into consideration in the design of multimedia-based learning modules are; First, presented learning materials should be presented in a logical and systematic. Second, the learning module must have a mechanism to measure student achievement of learning objectives, primarily to provide feedback for learners in achieving mastery learning. While the development of multimedia learning modules, there are five stages of the procedure which includes First analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The use of multimedia-based learning module is one business that can be done by the teachers. Multimedia-based learning modules today is not too difficult to achieve, either by producing (designing) alone or sharing by fellow educators. Sharing learning modules not only be done on one area or place but can be done by anyone, anywhere and at anytime by using Information and Communication Technology

No full textDunia pendidikan dewasa ini semakin banyak menghadapi tantangan, salah satu diantaranya ialah bahwa pendidikan itu berlangsung dalam latar lingkungan yang dibuat-buat, karena pendidikan itu harus membina tingkah laku yang berguna bagi individu dimasa akan datang dan bukan waktu sekarang. Akibat dari latar lingkungan yang dibuat-buat tersebut adalah terjadinya suasana pembelajaran yang tidak menyenangkan. Masalah lain yang dihadapi dunia pendidikan adalah sekolah masih menggunakan cara yang bersifat aversif, dimana para siswa menyelesaikan tugas-tugas sekolahnya terutama untuk menghindari stimulus-stimulus aversif seperti kecaman guru, ejekan dimuka kelas, menghadap kepala sekolah jika tidak membuat tugas di rumah. Untuk memecahkan masalah untuk perbaikan pendidikan itu pernah diusulkan beberapa pemecahan masalah yang diantaranya mendapatkan guru yang berkualitas, mencari terobosan baru untuk menandingi sekolah unggul, menaikkan standar pembelajaran dan mereorganisasi kurikulum. Semua alternative solusi diatas tidak ada artinya jika tidak dimanajemeni atau dikelola dengan professional. Salah satunya adalah dengan menerapkan sistem manajemen berbasis sekolah, dimana pihak sekolah memiliki otoritas yang cukup untuk mengelola konsep-konsep yang akan diterapkan dalam rangka meningkatkan kompetensi siswa. Masalah kurikulum, tujuan pendidikan, keputusan atau kebijakan sekolah, fasilitas yang akan digunakan, pengembangan SDM sekolah, pengaturan waktu dan biaya pendidikan, haruslah sepenuhnya dikelola oleh sekolah sehingga langkah-langkah teknis diatas dapat terwajud
