    POTENSI 2-IP DAN TDZ PADA PERBANYAKAN TUNAS CABAI KATOKKON (CAPSICUM ANNUUM VAR. CHINENSE) SECARA IN VITRO

    Katokkon chili is a specific flora location in Toraja, South Sulawesi highlands that is unique compared to other types of chili peppers. Katokkon chili has a powerful and sharp distinctive aroma with a very high level of spiciness. Tissue culture could be a technique that is promising for breeding Katokkon. This study aims to determine the effect of using natural at a dose of potent 2-iP and synthetic TDZ growth regulators at various concentrations on the initiation of embryonic callus from callus explant. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Plant Bioscience and Reproduction Biotechnology, Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Hasanuddin University, Makassar, in July-November 2022. This study was designed as an experiment it using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) pattern with six treatments, each with three plicates. Callus was cultured on MS media with concentrations of 2-iP (1.0 mg L-1, 1.5 mg L-1, and 2.0 mg L-1) and TDZ (0.25 mg L-1, 0.5 mg L-1, and 1.0 mg L-1). The results showed that the administration of 2-iP and TDZ only formed roots and did not form buds. It gave 2-iP 1.0 mg L-1 formed roots on day 79 after plant culture with an average root length of 0.55 cm. The administration of TDZ 0.25 mg L-1 roots appeared on day 84 after pant culture with an average root length of 0.3 cm. A treatment of TDZ (1.0 mg L-1) and 2-iP (2.0 mg L-1) gave the best effect on callus weight Katokkon callus were compact in texture on administering 2-iP and TDZ. Callus changes color from white to green (embryogenic), and some experience browning.Cabai katokkon merupakan flora spesifik dari dataran tinggi Toraja-Sulawesi yang memiliki keunikan dibanding dengan cabai paprika jenis lainnya. Cabai katokkon memiliki aroma khas yang sangat kuat dan tajam dengan tingkat kepedasan yang sangat tinggi. Teknik kultur jaringan sangat menjanjikan untuk pemuliaan tanaman katokkon.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan zat pengatur tumbuh alami jenis 2-iP dan sintetis jenis TDZ pada berbagai konsentrasi terhadap inisiasi tunas-tunas dari eksplan kalus.  Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Biosains dan Bioteknologi Reproduksi Tanaman, Departemen Budidaya Pertanian Fakultas Pertanian dan Unit Perbenihan Tanaman Teaching Industry, Universitas Hasanuddin, Makassar pada bulan Juli-November. Penelitian ini menggunakan pola rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan, masing-masing 3 ulangan. Kalus dikulturkan pada media MS dengan konsentrasi 2-iP (1,0 mg L-1, 1,5 mg L-1 dan 2,0 mg L-1) dan TDZ (0,25 mg L-1, 0,5 mg L-1 dan 1,0 mg L-1). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Pemberian 2-iP dan TDZ hanya membentuk akar tidak membentuk tunas. Pemberian 2-iP  1,0 mg L-1  membentuk akar pada hari 79 hst dengan rata-rata panjang akar 0,55 cm. Pada pemberian TDZ 0,25 mg L-1 akar muncul pada hari ke 84 hst dengan rata-rata panjang akar 0,3 cm. Pemberian TDZ (1,0 mg L-1) dan 2-IP  (2,0 mg L-1) memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap berat kalus Kalus Katokkon rata-rata bertekstur kompak baik pada pemberian 2-iP  maupun TDZ. Kalus mengalami perubahan warna dari putih menjadi hijau dan sebagian mengalami pencoklata

    Handling of chicken carcass after slaughter needs to be prioritized to guarantee safety and quality. One method that can be applied is marination using abundantly available spices. Sihala fruit (Etlingera etalior) is a spice that is usually used as a flavoring for arsik dishes typical of Batak, which has a slightly sour taste and fresh aroma. This study aimed to develop marination using Sihala tamarind spices to improve the physical and microbiological quality of meat of rejected layers during storage. The meat of rejected laying hens was marinated for 30 minutes using siala acid with concentrations of 0%, 15%, 30%, and 45%. Storage is carried out for 24 hours to 48 hours then, followed by physical and microbiological quality measurements. The results showed that the marination using siala acid significantly (P<0.01) improved physical quality, reducing the percentage of cooking loss, lowering the pH value, increasing tenderness, and maintaining meat moisture. Samples that were marinated using siala acid significantly (P<0.01) also experienced a decrease in microbial growth compared to the control. Overall, the best physical and microbiological qualities were the samples of culled chicken marinated using Sihala tamarind juice at a concentration of 30% and 45% during a 24-hour storage period. Marinating using siala acid fruit juice is an effective strategy to improve rejected chicken meat's physical and microbiological quality.     Gamal leaves and coconut dregs waste can be used as raw materials for making local microorganisms (MOL) through a fermentation process used as liquid organic fertilizer to support plant growth. This research aims to determine the effect of local microorganisms (MOL), Gamal, and coconut dregs on the growth of water spinach plants (Ipomoea reptans). This research uses a quantitative approach with an experimental research type using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications comprised of a control treatment, namely watering with water (K0), concentration 100 ml/L (K1), 150 ml/ L (K2), and 200 ml/L Water (K3). Data collection was obtained by measuring plant height, counting the number of leaves, weighing fresh weight, root length, secondary roots, and root volume. Data analysis was carried out using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at the ? level of 0.05. The results showed that the administration of local microorganisms (MOL) Gamal and coconut dregs with different concentrations significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, and fresh weight of land kale (Ipomoea reptans)

    Pertumbuhan Kerang Darah (Tegillarca granosa) pada Berbagai Sistem Akuakultur

    Many aquaculture wastes are suspended in the water column in that the presence of clams as filter feeders is required to utilize the waste for growth. In this study, blood clams from four aquaculture systems were evaluated to determine their growth, namely monoculture systems, polycultures, Integrated Multi Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA) non-paddy cocultures, and IMTA with paddy cocultures. Blood clams, tilapia, and tiger shrimp are stocked at as much as 20 each in 90 L of brackish water, whereas the density of sea cucumbers is 10 individuals. For paddy, reared using a floating method that uses trays. For four weeks, feed was given four times a day as much as 10% of the biomass. The results showed that the aquaculture system were a significant effect (P<0.05) on Spesific Growth Rate (SGR). The SGR of blood clams when combined with the IMTA systems were significantly higher (P<0.05) than that of the monoculture and polyculture systems. In contrast to growth, morphometric characteristics were not significantly affected (P>0.05) by aquaculture system. Apart from studies in laboratory scale, the highest growth of blood clams is obtained if cultured with complete trophic levels through the IMTA paddy system

    Bolaang Mongondow Timur, as a coffee center in North Sulawesi, has played a role in contributing to coffee production. Modayag District, as the largest coffee-producing area and the largest land area in East Bolaang Mongondow Regency, has many obstacles to contribute to the achievement of coffee production. This research aims to discover the obstacles and strategies that can be done to develop coffee farming in Modayag District, East Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The analysis in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis to determine the obstacles to the development of coffee farming and Process Hierarchy Analysis (AHP), which is used to determine strategies for developing coffee farming. The informants from this study were 12 key persons who were determined purposively to consist of related agencies, traders, and coffee farmers in the District of Modayag. The results showed that the obstacles in the development of coffee farming were the need for more information on cultivation techniques, the unavailability of post-harvest equipment, and the weak price protection and coffee quality assurance.     This study aims to identify the economic benefits of paddy field ecosystems and analyze the value of the economic benefits of paddy field ecosystems in Moncobalang Village, Barombong District, Gowa Regency. The sampling method used a purposive technique, namely deliberately selecting respondents whose livelihoods were 83 farmers. Data was collected through interviews with respondents using a questionnaire. The method used to analyze the value of the economic benefits of the paddy field ecosystem uses an economic valuation method with a market price approach and the price of substitute goods. The calculated economic benefit value of the paddy field ecosystem is the direct benefit value, the indirect benefit value, the optional benefit value, and the existence benefit value. The results showed the economic benefit value of the paddy field ecosystem obtained, namely the direct benefit value consisting of the value of rice production and the production value of horticultural crops. The indirect benefit value was calculated from the value of agricultural waste products, as well as the optional benefit value calculated from the value of the paddy field ecosystem as a carbon sink and oxygen producer and the benefit value of the existence of paddy fields. The total value of the economic benefits of the paddy field ecosystem is IDR 8,813,171,208/ha/year, which consists of a direct benefit value of IDR 8,143,127,013/ha/year, the indirect benefit value is IDR 121,375,000/ha/year, the value of the optional benefits is IDR 416,369,190/ha/year, and the existence benefit value is IDR 132,300,000/ha/year.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi manfaat ekonomi eksosistem lahan sawah dan menganalisis nilai manfaat ekonomi eksosistem lahan sawah di Desa Moncobalang Kecamatan Barombong Kabupaten Gowa. Metode pengambilan sampel  menggunakan teknik purposive, yaitu secara sengaja memilih responden yang bermatapencarian sebagai petani, responden yang terpilih sebanyak 83 petani. Data dikumpulkan melaui wawancara kepada responden dengan menggunakan kuisioner. Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis nilai manfaat ekonomi ekosistem lahan sawah menggunakan metode valuasi ekonomi dengan pendekatan harga pasar dan harga barang pengganti. Nilai manfaat ekonomi ekosistem lahan sawah yang dihitung adalah nilai manfaat langsung, nilai manfaat tidak langsung, nilai manfaat pilihan dan nilai manfaat keberadaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai manfaat ekonomi ekosistem lahan sawah yang diperoleh yaitu: nilai manfaat langsung yang terdiri dari : nilai produksi padi dan nilai produksi tanaman hortikultura; nilai manfaat tidak langsung yang dihitung dari nilai hasil limbah pertanian; nilai manfaat pilihan yang dihitung dari nilai ekosistem sawah sebagai penyerap karbon dan penghasil oksigen dan nilai manfaat keberadaan lahan sawah. Total nilai manfaat ekonomi ekosistem lahan sawah sebesar Rp.8.813.171.208/ha/tahun yang terdiri dari nilai manfaat langsung sebesar   Rp. 8.143.127.013/ha/tahun,nilai manfaat tidak langsung sebesar Rp. 121.375.000/ha/tahun, nilai manfaat pilihan sebesar Rp. 416.369.190/ha/tahun dan nilai manfaat keberadaan sebesar Rp. 132.300.000/ha/tahun

    ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN PENGEMBANGAN PRODUK COKELAT MILK PADA UMKM CV XY DI KOTA MAKASSAR

    The research aims to analyze chocolate milk's income and product development at CV XY UMKM in Makassar City. The method used in this research is the case study method so that all leaders and employees are taken as respondents. Data collection consisted of observations and interviews with the management and employees of CV XY Business to collect primary data. Data analysis comprised organoleptic tests, financial analysis, production cost analysis, income analysis, B/C ratio analysis, and BEP analysis. The results showed that the level of acceptance of the color of milk chocolate reached 47.5% (liked it), 42.5% (liked it for texture), 30.0% for its taste (liked it very much), and 45.0% for its aroma (liked it). CV XY has produced three types of chocolate products, namely Assorted Flavor Chocolate (jar packaging and mica packaging) and chocolate bars, with a total revenue per month of IDR 32,800,000 each, with a total cost of IDR 26,292,506 and revenue of IDR 6,507,494. Chocolate milk, a development product, requires a total cost of Rp. 2,375,000.-. This amount produces 75 milk chocolate products with a net weight of 100 grams and a price of IDR 31,680/100 g. BEP value of each product per unit and BEP rupiah. Assorted-flavored chocolate in jar packaging has a BEP value of 168 units and IDR 8,416,731. Assorted-flavored chocolate with mica packaging has a BEP value of 168 units and IDR 8,398,108. As the chocolate bar has a BEP value of 45 or IDR 1,561,887, it can be said that CV XY has produced above the Break Even Point value. For product development, namely chocolate milk, CV. For XY to reach the break-even point, it must produce and sell at least 60 units of chocolate milk products or obtain sales proceeds of IDR 4,227,700.-Tujuan Penelitian untuk menganalisis pendapatan dan pengembangan produk cokelat milk pada UMKM CV XY  dI Kota Makassar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus., sehingga mengambil seluruh karyawan sebagai responden yang terdiri dari pimpinan dan karyawan CV XY. Metode Pengumpulan Data terdiri atas Observasi dan Wawancara dengan pimpinan dan karyawan Usaha CV XY untuk mengumpulkan data primer. Metode Analisis Data, Analisis Deskriptif : Uji Organoleptik, Analisis Finansial,  Analisis Biaya produksi,  Analisis pendapatan,  Analisis B/C ratio, Analisis BEP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan,  bahwa, tingkat penerimaan terhadap warna coklat susu mencapai 47,5% (suka), tekstur 42,5% (suka), rasa 30 (sangat suka) dan aroma 45,0% (suka). CV XY telah memproduksi tiga jenis produk cokelat yakni Cokelat Aneka Rasa (kemasan Toples), Cokelat aneka rasa (kemasan mika), dan cokelat bar dengan total penerimaan per bulan Rp. 32.800.000,  dengan total biaya sebesar Rp. 26.292.506, Pendapatan Rp. 6.507.494.Cokelat milk yang merupakan produk pengembangan, total biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk pembuatan cokelat milk adalah Rp. 2.375.000,-. Jumlah tersebut akan menghasilkan 75 buah produk cokelat milk dengan berat bersih 100 gram. Dengan nilai produk cokelat milk 100 gram adalah Rp. 31.680,-.Nilai BEP masing-masing produk per unit maupun BEP rupiah. Cokelat Aneka rasa dengan kemasan toples memiliki nilai BEP sebesar 168 unit dan Rp. 8.416.731. Cokelat Aneka rasa dengan kemasan mika memiliki nilai BEP sebesar 168 unit dan Rp. 8.398.108, Sedangkan untuk cokelat bar, memiliki nilai BEP sebesar 45 atau Rp. 1.561.887, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa CV XY  telah memproduksi diatas nilai Break Even Point. Untuk produk pengembangan yakni cokelat milk, CV. XY agar dapat mencapai titik impas, maka harus memproduksi dan menjual produk cokelat milk paling sedikit 60 unit atau memperoleh hasil penjualan sebesar Rp. 4.227.700,-.

    OPTIMALISASI USAHA TANAMAN HIAS DENGAN KENDALA FAKTOR PRODUKSI

    The ornamental plant business in West Pentadio Village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo Regency, has excellent opportunities. This study aimed to determine the optimal conditions for ornamental plant business with production factor constraints. The data collection method used the Purposive Sampling method with samples selected based on the most produced plants. The sample in this study was the Wawan Bunga ornamental plant business in Pentadio Village. Research data were analyzed quantitatively descriptively using Linear Programming. The research results show that this ornamental plant business could be more optimal. The optimal income of IDR 11,242,000 is greater than the actual income, which is only IDR 10,455,000. The remaining land of 0.02047 Ha and capital of IDR 1,415,000 has not been used optimally. The use of labor in May, June, November, and December amounted to 21 HOK, which exceeded the NRK limit. As well as for interest X1, X6, X8, and X10 can affect the optimal income of Rp. 2,808,000, Rp. 5,024,000, Rp. 2,908,000 and Rp. 2,400,000, which has a sizeable Reduced Cost value.Usaha tanaman hias Wawan Bunga yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Pentadio Barat  Kecamatan  Telaga  Biru  Kabupaten  Gorontalo  memiliki  peluang  yang sangat baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kondisi optimal usaha tanaman hias dengan kendala faktor produksi. Data yang digunakan adalah Data Primer dan Data Sekunder. Data primer diperoleh secara langsung melalui wawancara kepada petani usaha tanaman hias dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data sekunder diperoleh dari studi literatur dan instansi terkait serta penelitian sebelumnya.   Metode   pengumpulan   data   menggunakan   metode   Purposive Sampling dengan tujuan sampel dipilih berdasarkan tanaman yang paling banyak diproduksi. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif deskriptif   dan   menggunakan   Linear   Programming.   Hasil   penelitian   ini menunjukan   bahwa   usaha   tanaman   hias   Wawan   Bunga   belum   optimal. Pendapatan optimal Rp 11.242.000 lebih besar dibandingkan pendapatan aktual yang hanya Rp 10.455.000. Terdapat sisa lahan 0,02047 Hektar dan modal Rp 1.415.000 yang belum dimaanfaatkan secara optimal. Adanya pengunaan tenaga kerja pada bulan Mei, Juni, November, Desember sebesar 21 HOK yang melebihi batas NRK. Serta untuk bunga X1, X6 , X8, dan X10 dapat mempengaruhi pendapatan optimal sebesar Rp 2.808.000 , Rp 5.024.000, Rp 2.908.000 dan Rp 2.400.000 karena memiliki nilai Reduced Cost besar.

    PERTUMBUHAN BIBIT KOPI BERDASARKAN TINGKAT KEMATANGAN BUAH DAN APLIKASI CENDAWAN ENDOFIT

    One of the efforts to accelerate the seeds' dormancy period is to use physiologically mature seeds and applicant of endophytic fungi. This study aims to determine the level of fruit maturity and the type of fungus that can accelerate germination and growth. This research was arranged with a Randomized Block Design with 2 treatments, namely the level of fruit maturity (based on the color) and the type of endophytic fungus. The maturity level of coffee cherries (coffee fruit skin color) consists of 4 levels, namely: brown, red, orange, and yellow. The second factor is the type of endophytic fungus with 2 levels, namely: isolate CE-1, isolate CE-5, and as control without endophytic fungi. The parameters observed were the percentage of germination (%), cotyledon rupture (days), fully open Institute leaves (days), the emergence of the first leaf (days), seedling height (cm), number of leaves (strands), root length (cm), weight plant fresh weight (gr), root fresh weight (gr), leaf root weight (gr), plant dry weight (gr), root dry weight (gr), leaf dry weight (gr). The results showed that the maturity level of coffee cherries significantly affected the percentage of germination, emergence of the first leaves, and plant fresh weight. The best fruit maturity level for the percentage of germination was red with 98.5% germination percentage, first leaf appearance (44 days), and plant fresh weight (0.25 g). The type of endophytic fungus isolate had a significant effect on the percentage of germination, fully open Institute leaves, and the emergence of the first leaves. The endophytic fungus CE-5 showed the best results in the percentage of germination parameters (93.06%), fully open institutional leaves (28 days), and first leaf emergence (46 days). The use of red coffee cherries with the application of endophytic fungi can be used to germinate and growth of coffee seedlings.Kopi memiliki masa dormansi yang cukup lama karena memiliki kulit biji yang keras, sehingga perkecambahan membutuhkan waktu lama. Salah satu upaya untuk mempercepat masa dormansi benih kopi adalah menggunakan benih matang secara fisiologi dan aplikasi cendawan endofit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kematangan buah dan jenis cendawan dapat mempercepat perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan benih kopi. Penelitian ini disusun menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 2 perlakuan yaitu tingkat kematangan buah (berdasarkan warna buah kopi) dan jenis cendawan endofit. Tingkat kematangan buah kopi (warna kulit buah kopi) terdiri atas 4 taraf yaitu: buah kopi berwarna cokelat, merah, orange dan kuning. Faktor kedua yaitu jenis cendawan endofit dengan 2 taraf yaitu: isolate CE-1, isolate CE-5, dan sebagai tanpa perlakuan. cendawan endofit sebagai kontrol. Parameter yang diamati adalah persentase kecambah (%), pecahnya kotiledon (hari), daun Lembaga terbuka sempurna (hari), munculnya daun pertama (hari), tinggi bibit (cm), jumlah daun (helai), panjang akar (cm), bobot segar tanaman (gr), bobot segar akar (gr), bobot sekar daun (gr), bobot kering tanaman (gr), bobot kering akar (gr), bobot kering daun (gr). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan buah kopi berpengaruh nyata terhadap persentase kecambah, munculnya daun pertama dan bobot segar tanaman. Tingkat kematangan buah terbaik untuk persentase kecambah adalah warna merah dengan persentase kecambah 98,5%, munculnya daun pertama (44 hari), dan bobot segar tanaman (0,25 gr). Jenis isolate cendawan endofit berpengaruh nyata terhadap persentase kecambah, daun lembaga terbuka sempurna dan munculnya daun pertama. Jenis cendawan endofit CE-5 menunjukkan hasil terbaik pada parameter persentase kecambah (93,06%), daun lembaga terbuka sempurna (28 hari) dan munculnya daun pertama (46 hari). Penggunaan buah kopi berwana merah dengan aplikasi cendawan endofit dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan perkecambahan dan pertumbuhan bibit kopi

The purpose of this study was to determine the benefits of partnerships between farmers and farmers PT. Sang Hyang Seri is with a Customer Satisfaction Index value of 81.12 which is in the range of 0.81-1.00 which indicates that the consumer satisfaction index is on the "very satisfied" criteria, which means that farmers are very satisfied with the partnership program that they have run together. PT. Sang Hyang Seri. The amount of income obtained by farmers is Rp 13,817,592/people. For the partnership program to continue, the company should improve the procedure for paying harvests to farmers, so that there are no more delays in payments. Both parties should better understand the contents of the cooperation agreement contract so that there will be no more problems in the future.Mengetahui permasalahan yang dihadapi petani, maka diharapkan dapat dilakukan perbaikan-perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kinerja kemitraan. Selain mengevaluasi pelaksanaan kemitraan berdasarkan peraturan yang telah disepakati, kesuksesan dari pelaksanaan kemitraan dapat dicapai dengan mengetahui tingkat kepuasan petani terhadap jalannya kemitraan. Peningkatan pendapatan juga menjadi salah satu tolak ukur kesuksesan pelaksanaan kemitraan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui manfaat kemitraan antara petani dengan PT. Sang Hyang Seri, menganalisis tingkat kepuasan petani terhadap program kemitraan dengan PT. Sang Hyang Seri, menganalisis tingkat pendapatan petani yang melakukan kemitraan dengan PT. Sang Hyang Seri. Hasil penelitian ini adalah beberapa manfaat yang diperoleh dari kemitraan petani dengan PT. Sang Hyang Seri adalah melalui program kemitraan, maka petani akan mendapatkan bantuan sarana produksi, adanya jaminan pasar, harga beli perusahaan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan harga yang berlaku di pasaran, meningkatnya keterampilan petani, kualitas produksi yang lebih baik serta pendapatan petani meningkat.Tingkat kepuasan petani terhadap program kemitraan dengan PT. Sang Hyang Seri adalah dengan nilai Customer Satisfaction Index sebesar 81,12 ini berada pada rentang 0,81-1,00 yang menunjukkan bahwa indeks kepuasan konsumen pada kriteria “sangat puas” yang berarti petani sudah sangat puas dengan program kemitraan yang telah mereka jalankan bersama PT. Sang Hyang Seri. Besar pendapatn yang diperoleh petani adalah sebesar Rp 13.817.592/orang. Agar program kemitraan dapat terus berlanjut, maka sebaiknya perusahaan memperbaiki prosedur pembayaran hasil panen kepada petani, agar tidak ada lagi keterlambatan dalam pembayaran.Seharusnya kedua belah pihak, lebih memahami isi kontrak perjanjian kerjasama agar tidak ada lagi permasalahan di masa yang akan datang.
