Working ooutside the home (public space) is important for women. For women who work outside she will be more flexible in the budgeting the financial the needs of her children, self, and others. what ever the motivations are, women who work in public spaces, provide significant contribution for themsel ves and their families. often women should undergo double job, household and public works. is there a basic in Islamic teachings that allow women to work ? al-qur\u27an verses (al-Qashash 23 and al-Nisa 32) clearly state women should work outside either independently or in groups, in private or government agency, day or night, as long as the work is conducted in a dignified atmosphere, the women are able to maintain what is taught by the religion and they can avoid the negative impact of the job either for themselves or their environment

The emergence of Islamic kingdoms/sultanates in the Nusantara (Indonesian archipelag), suchas SamuderPasai, Demak, Banten, Cirebon, MAtaram, Tidore, Gowa Tallo, and others are evidence that iIslam was accepted and spread throughout the Nusantara. The function of the former capital cities of Islamic kingdoms in the archipelago were to be maintained as trade center and the center of political power. In the end the cities changed into centers of educational activities with the emergence of traditional and modern institutions many religious sciences with various levels were studied and gave birth to many prominent scholars who later became role models in their respective regions

Ibn Khaldun is a medieval Muslim scholar who was internatonally known for his scientific reputation as well as his pioneered study oof historical writing. this study offers a new method that not only informant (news man), but also on the understanding of each civilization characteristics and the laws of nature (sunnatullah) that go with it iin order for the public to be freed of false information in the history narrative. He also introduced new sciience called the science of al-Umran (al-Ijtima\u27 al-Basyari), wich on the next period developed into a science of sociology, that focuses on cummunity studies

The theory of modern litery criticism in the West begins with the birth of the theory of formalism in Russia between 1915-1930 developed by Jacobson, shklovsky, Eichenbaum and others. This theory is the foundation stone of modern literary science that formally consider literary work as art of language and sparate the literary works from other social sciences such as psychology, history, and culture. From this formalism theory then was born the theory of structuralism and its various manifold (post-structuralism), such as semiotics, geneticstructuralism, and others. Based on the formalism theory, literary works as autonomous works must be researched in terms of the work itself (intrinsic elemennts), not from outside ( extrinsic elements), because theory more emphasizes on the beauty of literary works. Therefore, what, is needed in criticizing a literary works is close reading, a microscopic reading of literary works as art of language

The objective of this article is to answer one basic question, which is: what are the roles played by the thinkers of Islam in dealing with racism happenings during the period of the Abbasid? This article had chosen al-Jahiz as an example of those who tried to prevent the dangers of racism by explaining its consequences on the reality of Muslim community. This article tries to highlight the views of al-Jahiz and their impact in rejecting the views of racists\u27 groups, which were related to several issues that they tried to manipulate to bring turmoil and unrest to the Muslim community. This article will present several views forwarded by al-Jahiz in regard of the military organization of Abbasid Caliphate. In this case, it is highlighted that racism is not confined to the aspect of language alone, but also include aspects of terminology and politics. Among the main factors clarified in this article are, 1. racism and the origin of its term, 2 the point in time of racism movement, 3. the military organization of the Abbasid Caliphate, 4. the attacks of racists groups towards Arabs and Muslims, 5. al-Jahiz\u27s rejection of the racism attacks, 6. the weapons and evil tactics of the racists\u27 groups

This article explains about BUwaihid Dynasty. First, it will explain about the root of the dynasty wich came from Dailam ethnic of Syirdil Awandan tribe lived in Jilan mountains, Iran. The founding of this dynasty were 3 brother, Ali, HAsan, and Ahmad (the second of Buwaih). Second, it will focus on the political achievements of the Buwaihid Dynasty wich are divided into jthree periods. Thhe first period(945-1012) was the time of power consolidation. THe second period (977-1012) was the time of ruling wich was started with Adhud al-Daulah\u27s success in conquering Baghdad and continued with the ruling of his descendents. The third period (1012-1055) was the time of ruling wich was started with Adhud al-Daulah\u27s success in conquering Baghdad and continued with the ruling of his descendents. The third period (1012-1055) was the time of the declining of the ruling started in 1012 until 1055 with al-Malik al-rahim as the last ruler. During Buwaihid Dynasty there was a changing of the ruler from chaliph palace (Dar al-Khilafah) to the kingdom palace (Dr al-Mamlakah) wich was built by the Buwaih dynasty in Baghdad

In 16 century, the sultanate Aceh under the Sultan Alauddin Riayat Syah al-Kahhar requested Ottoman as a powerful Islamic state in that time. Among the significant record wich refersto historical event, committed by al-Raniri in his \u27magnum opus\u27 Bustan al-Salatin. The Bustan al-Salatin record on Aceh-ottoman relation became benchmark to the further assistant request by following malay leaders. There is another sources, such as manuscript Tarikh Bandar Aceh Darussalam and Hikayat Meukota Alam which noted the same event and probably referring to the Bustan al-Salatin
Semantics Analysis on the Relation of Meaning of Cultural Differences toward the Translation from Bahasa Indonesia to English
This article aims to explain how to translate the words of Bahasa Indonesia with the local cultural meaning, as sources language, to English, as target language. the mentioned words are taken from short story and would translate in the level og textual and referential level. firstly, it tried to find the meaning of the words based on the bilingual dictionary, Indonesian-English. Furthermore, they are consulted to the monolingual dictionary. finally the translation used is those accepted in target language speaking through the translation techniques, namely contextual conditioning

This article is focus on the Arabic phonological concept wich was proposed by al-khalil Ibn Ahmad al-Farahidi in order to introduce the fluency of pronouncing Arabic words. According to al-farahidi the fluency of prononcing the Arabic words are formed through the grammatically arranged sentences, wich are built through the correct words. Mean while correct words are formed trough the exact placement of the sounds. This article will expose al-Farahidi\u27s efforts in identifying the harmonious sound of Arabic words which finally form fluency of pronouncing the words
