This paper discusses tolerance based on Surah al-Bāqarah verse 148. By using the method of library study, the researcherdiscusses different views on tolerance from religious perspectives, especially based on Surah al-Bāqarah verse 148. This study finds information that this first has been used to emphasize two things: first, the importance of respecting diversity as an objective fact, secondly the importance of striving seriously in terms of goodness as an important element in a pluralistic society

By using descriptive analytic methods, the writer discusses verses about leadership and links them to the pros and cons about non-Muslim leadership. The Urgency Discourse of Matan and Sanad Criticism on Hadith
As part of science, hadith studies need special attention. Therefore, there is a need for the criticism of sanad and matan hadith to be aware of its authenticity and to know the validity of a hadith. The main objective of this hadith research, in terms of both sanad as well as substance is to determine the quality of examined hadith. The quality of hadith is very important in its relation to the validity of hadith. Hadiths whose quality does not qualify cannot be used as a ḥujjah. The fulfillment of the requirement because hadith is the source of Islamic teaching. Unauthorized use of hadith can be in Islamic misplaced teachings
John Wansbrough dan Historisitas Alquran
This paper discusses the historicity of the Quran in the view of John Wansbrough. By using the literature riview method, this study answers how Wansbrough views the historical aspects of the Quran. this study finds John Wansbrough addes another analytical consideration in understanding the history of the Quran. This is the application of the literary method which focuses on the analysis of the logic and the suitability of the use of language at the time of the revelation of the Quran
Kajian Orientalis Ignaz Goldziher tentang Hadis dan Sunnah
Moslem concider Hadith and Sunnah are the main sources of Islamic teachings which serve as explanations for the verses of the Qur’an. But Orientalists such as Ignaz Goldziher has different oppinion, distinguishing between hadith and sunnah. According to him the sunnah is seen as a revision of the customs that occurred even though it did not strengthen the overall meaning. While the hadith according to him is the result of the development of Islam in the fields of religion, politics, and sociology in the period of two centuries, namely the first and second centuries. Hadith is not an Islamic document in the early days of its growth but it is the product of letter generations, after the die Prophet Muhammad SAW. In addition, the hadith is also one product generated from the effects of Islamic power that occurred at its glory
Eksoterisme Tafsir Ishari: Telaah Epistemologi Tafsir Al-Jilani
Abstract This article concludes that the sufistic interpretation of al-Ji>la>ni> is in harmony with the principle of textual interpretation. In the process of isha>ri> interpretation, the dialectics between elements of textuality and spirituality makes the text have a literal-objective meaning as well a moral-spiritual significance. This study shows that the interpretation of al-Ji>la>ni> is literal, because it relies in textual meaning, and at the same time is spiritual, in the sense that the meaning also reaches spiritual outcrop. This study is based on interpretive method, with the hermeneutic and sufistic psychology approach. Abstrak Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa penafsiran sufistik al-Ji>la>ni> selaras dengan prinsip tekstualitas penafsiran. Dalam proses penafsiran isha>ri>, dialektika antara unsur tekstualitas dan spiritualitas menjadikan teks memiliki makna literal-objektif’ sekaligus signifikansi moral-spiritual. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa interpretasi al-Ji>la>ni> bersifat literal, karena mengimani makna tekstual, sekaligus bersifat spiritual, dalam arti bahwa pemaknaan juga menjangkau singkapan spiritual. Dalam melakukan kajian ini, penulis menggunakan metode interpretatif, dengan pendekatan hermeneutika dan psikologi sufistik. Kecenderungan Kajian Hadith di UIN Alauddin Makassar (Tracer Study terhadap Skripsi Mahasiswa Tahun 1994-2013)
Fokus tulisan ini adalah bagaimana kecenderungan kajian hadith di UIN Alauddin Makassar sejak tahun 1994 hingga 2013. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut sumber utama tulisan ini adalah karya-karya skripsi alumni Tafsir Hadis IAIN/UIN Alauddin Makassar. Berdasarkan penelusuran dan analisis dokumentasi disimpulkan bahwa dari tahun 1994 hingga 2013, jumlah skripsi yang dapat ditemukan adalah 97 buah, dengan rincian 12 skripsi yang menfokuskan kajiannya pada Ilmu Musthalah Hadith, 50 skripsi yang merupakan hasil penelitian (naqd) hadith, 21 skripsi mengkaji pemahaman (fiqh) hadith, 7 skripsi yang memfokuskan pada kajian kitab hadith dan 7 skripsi yang menelusuri pemikiran atau tokoh hadith. Kecenderungan model kajian umumnya penelitian hadith (naqd al-hadith), baik sanad maupun matan (51, 5%). Faktor utama terjadinya kecenderungan tersebut adalah makin kuatnya metodologi penelitian hadith secara umum di Indonesia dan secara khusus di UIN Alauddin Makassar dengan munculnya karya-karya dari tokoh-tokoh Ilmu Hadis di Makassar seperti M. Syuhudi Ismail di awal tahun 1990-an dan murid-muridnya
Some Implications of Hermeneutical Readings for the Study of the Qur’an
Hermeneutics opens up possibilities to understand something as comprehensive as possible, and at the same time, as various as possible. There can be as many readings as the number of readers or even more readings than the number of the readers as they can deploy different points of views, approaches and methods in one object. This article formulates the question of what implications does hermeneutical reading for the study of the Qur’an may have? While the result of hermeneutical reading can be as productive as possible accordingly, its implications are of variety. However in this article, two implications will be discussed: one implication on scientific necessity and the other is on productivity of reading. Two cases will be discussed here: the Qur’an as textus receptus and as discourse
